Could you talk a little about your MCI from your Fnaf au?

This isn’t exactly what you asked, but here’s my timeline! It’s altered a bit over the years and characters have changed roles, but this is my little AU:

1983: Evan “Jack” Afton is bitten while Henry murders Charlie behind the pizzeria. Charlie mistakes her killer for William. Fredbear’s Family Diner closes and the springlock suits are moved to Freddy’s. Jack continues to haunt Michael and creates night terrors for him.

1984: Circus Baby’s Rental opens and Elizabeth “goes missing.” William, after losing his second kid, becomes consumed with finding Elizabeth and fails to notice Henry reprogramming the animatronics. Funtime animatronics steadily kidnap/kill kids from 1984~86.

1985: Official first Missing Children’s Incident™. Henry lures five kids (Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, and Cass) and stuffs their bodies in the suits. William is suspected but never convicted, Freddy’s is shut down.

Early 1986: William, suspecting foul play and feeling guilty, goes to the now closed Freddy’s location to search for clues. Charlie and Co, believing their killer to be William, scare him into the suit and he is springlocked. Using William as a scapegoat, Henry has the walls sealed up so that William can “remain at large” should the case be reopened. Becoming more paranoid that he will be found out, he hunts down Michael’s friends from the bite of ‘83 and hides their bodies in the not-yet-released toy animatronics.

1987: After the disappearance of his father, Michael finds William’s frantic theories over Elizabeth’s whereabouts and decides to go look for her. Scoopage occurs.

After discovering the truth of the incidents, the not-yet-rotting Michael takes a job at the new Freddy Fazbear’s under the guise of Jeremy Fitzgerald. (The dayshift guard, also named Jeremy, gets bit by Mangle) Michael comes back later as “Fritz Smith” and sneaks Charlie out with him.

~1988: Ennard (without Baby) sneaks into Michael’s apartment and asks to stay. Michael begrudgingly lets Ennard live in his closet.

~1991: Circus Baby finds Michael’s apartment and demands to stay. Michael and Ennard begrudgingly let her.

1993: Mike takes a job at the reopened Freddy’s. Finds out that his uncle (Phone Guy) died there not too long before him. Mike continues working there for a while until he gets fired for “tampering with the animatronics” and the place gets shut down. He sneaks Phone Guy’s ghost out with him and hides him in his apartment.

2017: Michael takes a job at Fazbear Fright under the name Eggs and “meets” Springtrap. Neither recognize each other and form a friendship. This culminates in the two of them burning the place down and Michael sneaking William back to his apartment, where Phone Guy reveals both of their identities to each other.

2019: Michael, in an attempt to lure Henry and kill him, franchises a Freddy’s location and steadily sneaks his animatronic family members in. It’s the most successful Freddy establishment and becomes incredibly popular. When Henry tries to burn the place down, the Afton family captures him and forces him to burn in the restaurant with them. Despite everything, everyone but Henry survives. Henry’s soul escapes into the computer.

2020: Realizing they now have to live “normal lives” in the aftermath of the fire, Michael and William retrofit illusion discs so the whole family can pose as living people.

2023: After developing into a malicious computer virus, Henry/Glitchtrap poses as a Fazbear Entertainment email address and commissions a VR studio to make the FNAF series. On top of using this to possess the beta testers, he uses this to spin the narrative that William was the murderer and that he was the hero that stopped him. Michael joins the VR team as “Iggy Wilson” in order to stop Henry.

I'm sorry- a FULL timeline??? That's amazing to hear! How long has that been worked on?

Well, technically all the explanations for things are already in their own separate videos, so in a way almost the entire time I've been making videos lol.

But I actually will be starting writing on it this week. Fortunately it'll just be me explaining the timeline and not why I put things places, since all that's been addressed in other videos, so I should be able to get it done relatively quickly.

As much as I love and respect Matpat and his theories, I have one problem with his recent FNAF timeline. He made William a good man that spiralled into evil and insanity. When you step back and think about it, that is the root cause for a lot of the inconsistencies and questionable pieces of said timeline.

In the video below, a potential timeline is mentioned. William kills Charlie, notices the tear tracks that magically appeared on the Puppet and builds the Funtimes. A part of his timeline that frustrated Matpat was William's lack of motive for building the Funtimes before Evan's death. Remove 'Willaim being a good man' as a factor and you have your motive. That way, William kills the Funtimes, Elizabeth dies, either Michael, Evan or both see it and Nightmare Fredbear's stomach mouth is explained.

Let's all just accept that William is evil to the core. I am tired of people ruining stories for the sake of making the villain sympathetic.

ok so im going through fnaf lore timeline (mostly made by matpat) but I've come to a contradiction that i need help solving

this ended up being really long so I'm putting it under a cut

so basically according to matpat and also like all the stories put together- after Elizabeth dies and then william notices that baby's eyes have changed from blue to green he's like hm maybe that was what i saw when he had applied as a day guard back when fnaf 2 location opened.

like he went back there to kill more kids and he noticed that the withered animatronics were moving around and seemed to be guided by the puppet and so he was like hm weird

back to baby and everything- he was like oh maybe this is related so he thought hed go back to that location and grab all the endoskeletons (seen in that fnaf 2 cutscene where he lures them all back and takes them apart coming from the hidden door)

he takes the endos back to his workshop down in the sister location and melts the endos down and puts it into funtime freddy's new endoskeleton and yada yada yada it comes to life but not the same as baby bc its like four kids in one mixture smoothie of remnant

then he goes back for more and the ghosts of those kids are still there in the pizzeria and corner him and that's when the springlock failure happens and he gets stuck there for years rotting

fast forward to michael finding sister location and getting scooped and then deciding to go fix everything we know we play as him in fnaf 1 and 2 bc golden freddy says its me (his brother saying hi) and that he was fired for his smell (scooped and dying flesh and all that)

and he goes to fnaf 2 location and does the nightshift BUT he has a run in with the withered animatronics too!! but they were dismantled years ago by William??? how the heck does that work?? and they are still gunning for him bc he's an afton and whatever

but like idk if im missing something in the storyline or some piece of evidence or something but like how are the withered animatronics still in the fnaf 2 location by the time Michael gets there like how are they still together and not dismantled? if William took their endoskeletons?

like did william just not take all of their endoskeletons and only parts of them? like why chica has no arms and bonnie has no face? but then why would William only take those parts right?

or did like someone go back and put them back together? bc henry had to go back after william broke in and then got springlocked and that's when he boarded up the back room with him in it- did henry put the animatronics back together with new endoskeletons?

and if he did that- how and why are the withered animatronics withered like that in fnaf 2 like how did chica lose her arms and bonnie her face?

i mean the point of having the night guards at closed places is to keep like vandals and people from messing with the stuff and stealing so maybe it was just some random people who thought it would be funny to take the arms from chica and the face from bonnie?

i feel like im missing something important bc none of this is adding up...

Since MatPat took forever to create an actual FNAF timeline, I'm going to try making one myself.

The first kill was Charlie Emily, Henry Emily's young daughter in 1983.

Later that same year C.C. was murdered by Michael Afton, known as "The Bite of 83."

And in the same year, Elizabeth Afton is murdered by Circus Baby.

In 1987, an employee at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and Games was reported dead due to a chunk of his head missing from a bite. This was dubbed "The Bite of 87."

Later that same year, Michael Afton is hired at Circus Baby's Pizza World, and is killed by the Scooper mechanism.

In the early 1990s, William Afton murders 6 more children and stuffs them into the animatronic suits at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.

In 1994, Michael Afton, now a walking corpse, is hired at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and ultimately fired for bad odor.

In 1997, William Afton dies of a springlock failure.

Around 36 years later, in 2023, William Afton, now known as Springtrap, comes back to life in Fazbear's Fright, where Michael Afton works.

In the same week that Michael is hired, Fazbear's Fright burns down, but both Aftons make it out alive.

About 10 years later, Michael is hired by an elderly Henry Emily to run Freddy Fazbear's Diner, which also functions as a scrapyard for animatronics.

And in that same week the place burns down, taking Scraptrap, Scrap Baby, and Lefty down with it. Ultimately both Michael and Henry die in that fire, but not Scraptrap.

Scraptrap is kept alive for a few years by the vengeful spirit Cassidy, and is tortured in a hellscape with his own creations.

Around 5 years later, Afton returns as Glitchtrap, who takes control of Vanessa, a beta-tester for a new VR system. This introduces Vanny.

In 2045, a new megamall opens known as the Mega Pizzaplex, which is run by unknown people, but had completely rebranded the original Freddy's gang.

A kid breaks into the Pizzaplex and in a single night destroys the animatronics and the Pizzaplex, also killing Burntrap, William's new form.

Around a year later, the Pizzaplex gets shaken by an earthquake, a girl named Cassie decides to visit to try and rescue the boy who broke in, and ultimately dies of an elevator malfunction when she tried to escape.

I just typed this out for a friend so here's my FNAF timeline

1981- Fredbear's Family Diner opens. Huge hit. Springlock suits are used, but they are extremely dangerous.

1982- William Afton founds Afton Robotics. Plans to launch a restaurant called Circus Baby's Pizza World. On opening day, Elizabeth (his youngest) gets too close to one of the robots (Circus Baby) and sets off a mechanism that pulls her into the robot's torso, killing her. Restaurant closes due to "gas leaks." Elizabeth's spirit possesses Baby.

1983- Crying Child (name unknown) dies on his birthday. He is shoved into the mouth of Fredbear, setting off the springlocks and crushing his head. C.C. possesses Fredbear. Fredbear's Family Diner remains open for a few weeks, then closes. William Afton murders Charlotte Emily, his business partner (Henry's) daughter. Charlotte's spirit possesses the Security Puppet.

1985- Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has been open for at least a year. William Afton uses a retired Springlock suit (Springbonnie) to lure 5 children into a back room, then kills them. With the help of Charlotte, each of the 5 kids possesses a character. Gabriel possesses Freddy, Jeremy possesses Bonnie, Susie possesses Chica, Fritz possesses Foxy, and Cassidy possesses Fredbear. Fredbear now has 2 souls. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closes. William Afton gets off scot-free.

1987- Freddy Fazbear's Pizza 2 opens. William Afton repeats the same process that he took in 1985. 5 kids die, they don't really come back up in the narrative after this. The robots begin to act strange around parents, and on the last day they attack the daytime security guard, causing the Bite of '87.

1993- Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (1993) opens. It closes soon due to no customers. Micheal Afton gets a job at Afton Robotics and gets scooped. He now knows the truth about his father and wants to help the kids move on with their afterlives. He gets a job at Freddy's and tampers with the animatronics, hoping to free the souls. This doesn't work and Mike gets fired. William goes to this location to bust up the animatronics in order to see if they have any Remnant (how the souls are possessing the robots). After they're all busted, the ghosts are freed and corner William in the walled-off back room. He puts on his springlock suit and dies.

2023- Fazbear's Fright opens; a horror attraction based on the events of the Fazbear missing children incidents. They find William's suit (now Springtrap) and put it in the attraction as a bonus. Micheal works at Fazbear's Fright and burns it to the ground, hoping to finally kill his father. This does not work, but at least the original kids finally get to move on. (Except Cassidy. This is important as she wants to take further revenge on William.) Henry Emily opens a new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza with Micheal working as the manager. The remaining spirits are all gathered there; Elizabeth in the form of Scrap Baby, the souls of Ennard (the funtime animatronics, not very important) in the form of Molten Freddy, William Afton in the form of Scraptrap (he got a new suit yay), and Charlotte in the form of the Puppet, trapped inside of a robot called L. E. F. T. E. (or just Lefty). He sets it on fire with everyone inside and they all die. Cassidy traps WIlliam's soul inside a horrible torture cycle she created for eternity.

Five Nights at Freddy's game series timeline

[Part One, Fnaf 4 - Fnaf 2]

This post is part one of my take on the Fnaf game series timeline. This is just me putting the currently known/generally agreed upon events of the Fnaf storyline into what I believe to be the correct order. I won't be going into motives or any more speculative scenarios. If it isn't shown in the games or promotional material for the games it probably won't be here.

????-1983 [Fnaf 4]

•Henry Emily and William Afton became business partners, opening a small diner known as Fredbear's Family Diner. The diner featured two amphropromorphic animal characters; Fredbear and Springbonnie. The characters could double as both animatronics and as mascot costumes, these types of characters are known as springlock suits.

•An unknown amount of time passed and the brand started to expand thanks to it's popularity. Soon a sister location called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, featuring five new characters; Golden Freddy, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, opened.

•As the brand increased in popularity William and Henry got a TV show deal to promote the new restaurant, leading to Fredbear and Friends. The show featured the cast from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

•The week leading up to William Afton's youngest son Evan Afton's birthday his older brother Michael Afton bullied him relentlessly, scaring him with a Foxy mask. Evan Afton had nightmares every night that week. (Note: according to the Survival Logbook it was Michael who had nightmares so its possible this specific part happened after Evan was bitten as a guilt thing. If we take another theory I had into account then it's Afton punishing Michael instead.(

•On Evan Afton's birthday Michael and his friends decided to take the bullying a bit further, dragging him over to the main stage and throwing him into the Fredbear animatronic's mouth. This resulted in The Bite of '83 and left Evan comatose for a few days.

•In Evan Afton's final moments his brother Michael apologised to him for everything he'd done, followed by William promising he'd put Evan back together. Shortly afterwards Evan flatlined

Misc - Springlock Failures

•At an unknown time at some point during Fredbear's being open there were multiple simultaneous springlock failures, resulting in the deaths of atleast two employees. These employees went on to become Shadow Freddy and RWQFSFASXC. Fredbear's Family Diner closed down shortly after.

1983-1987 [Turtle Crusher + Security Puppet]

•After the closing of Fredbear's Family Diner William Afton began work on a new batch of animatronics which he dubbed the Funtime animatronics. They were designed with the express purpose of kidnapping children.

•Circus Baby's Pizza World opened to the public and William Afton's daughter Elizabeth Afton snuck away despite his warnings to stay away from Circus Baby. Unfortunately she ended up becoming a victim to Circus Baby, going on to possess Circus Baby. The restaurant was immediately closed down and William claimed this to be due to gas leaks.

•After the closing of Circus Baby's Pizza World the animatronics initially planned to perform there were moved to an underground rental facility known as Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. From then on they became available to rent out for private parties.

•After all of the tragedies occurring in the restaurants Henry Emily created a new animatronic called the Security Puppet to monitor his daughter and keep her safe. It was featured in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and watched over the children.

•One day Henry's Daughter Charlotte Emily was locked outside of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the Security Puppet unable to reach her. William Afton happened to be passing by and he committed a drive-by murder, killing Charlie and leaving her body in the alleyway next to Freddy's. The Security Puppet eventually managed to get outside but by then it was too late, and the robot could do nothing but hug Charlie's body as it broke down in the rain.

1987-1993 [SAVE THEM + Give Gifts Give Life + Fnaf 2]

•Freddy Fazbear's Pizza reopened with new and improved animatronics and a new restauarant. Originally the older animatronics were going to be retrofitted but they were deemed to ugly to reuse, the company instead opting to create a new batch of robots called the Toy animatronics. These characters were made to be as kid friendly and safe as possible.

•One day William Afton donned the old Springbonnie suit from Fredbear's Family Diner and lured 5 children into a back room, killing them. Charlie, now possesing the Puppet, then stuffed the bodies into the old animatronics and resurrected them.

•William Afton was taken in by the police for questioning but he avoided conviction as the children's bodies were never found.

•Thanks to William Afton's recent meddling the animatronics all began to act aggressive towards adults, one of the adults being the night guard Jeremy Fitzgerald. After his first week on the job Jeremy was switched to the dayshift position, being bitten by one of the animatronics in The Bite of '87.

•The new Toy animatronics were all scrapped after the Bite of '87 and the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed down.

In his recent timeline videos, MatPat couldn't place Sister Location before or after FNAF 1 and 2. Fortunately, I think I've found solid evidence as to when it takes place :D
