god i know ive been going on and on about voltron but im just like. so compelled by it genuinely. also the hate s4 got was kinda undeserved bc its a serious upswing from s3 (aside from a rough first ep). i enjoyed the voltron show unironically i love their little power ranger poses it made me laugh

I kinda wonder what Nem thinks, when things are starting to get Really Bad between her and Vace and she turns to glance at the weird and happy relationship Sol has going on with their stupid alien boyfriend. The Xenos who she knows as having killed her brother and many others, caused so much suffering, and one of them is there and is actually a really sweet partner for her friend. What kind of conflict does it cause when she can’t really ignore the fact that a xeno is a better partner for Sol and part of a healthier relationship than what she’s got. That a xeno can bring happiness when her own relationship with Vace is crumbling into misery.

Kinda wish Sarah's growth as a person and a character was discussed more. Not just from her time that we see throughout the series, but also that bit of history she had back in Paradise when she was with Mark James.

Cheerleader girlfriend of the star quarterback of the football team, average asshole around people and very stuck up about it, grades failing and drinking on the occasion, she was an extremely different person than who we came to know in the series. If she was introduced in the series in that way she'd serve a very different role in the series and to the characters.

But she had gone through change during one summer in the mountains where she got to see a different side of life that was more than the one she has been living in, where she became invested with a wider range of what life has to offer, the adventures she could experience and what life will give her if she tries being nicer to others. And she liked that a lot.

 So she cut ties with her old life and decided to be reborn a different person, where she tries to be better and wants to experience something greater than just being a stuck up cheerleader girlfriend. She keeps a camera on her that allows her to see things from a different perspective, the same way she found change within herself that one summer. And as far she's concerned, although there wasn't a lot to change for her life back in Paradise Ohio, she certainly found a nice change of pace and a gateway to adventure when she decided to be welcoming to one John Smith.
