shimazaki is such a funny villain im mp100 to me cuz like. w so many almost all other villains theres some sort of character change that takes place n many of them become close to mob like. teruki and serizawa and shou technically and minegishi and all the other claw members. Till's love song for Mizi fhkaaldhska

Some thought ramblings below:

Unpopular opinion: I don't think this song has literally anything to do with ivan. It is wholeheartedly a love song about Till's feelings towards Mizi.

I had my mum help me translate the lyrics. That + my own limited translation + Google translate has convinced me this is purely about Mizi.

The song is basically sung in 1st person pov. Till talks about how pathetic he feels bc he can't open his mouth to confess his feelings. Instead he just "turns around(in circles)". He feels like his love is gonna make him explode, all he wants is for them to "open their ears" and see him. He wants desperately to narrow the distance between them, but he's too scared and too much of a coward to do anything. He just stands there with his mouth shut, smiling, feeling like a fool.

The lyrics talks about how even though this song is beloved and in the spotlight, he doesn't care bc all he wants is for the person he loves to notice him. But when they smile at him, he knows there's dislike/no love behind it. And that he as well, dislikes himself, and smiles too.

It's specifically the part where the lyrics say "you smile at me but there's dislike/no love" that's convinced me it's 100% about Mizi. We know this bc of Mizi's comic where she smiles at Till when asking him about his feelings for her and it drops when he says he likes her bc she's pretty.

Someone on the unofficial alnst discord mentioned the album art is cutesy and full of sweets. But sweets are a temporary thing, it artificially fills you with sweetness. And that this imagery and the light hearted bop aligns well with till's love for mizi. It's basically a shallow puppy love. Super sweet but ultimately a fleeting and unfulfilling love.

I think this song is 100% abt till's puppy love for Mizi and his yearning (my God, the yearning). There's absolutely nothing about this song that's about ivan and I think people are deluding themselves into believing this song is a "bipanic" song about Till's feelings for both Ivan and mizi.
