My coworkers are driving me up. the fucking. wall.

Like, I know reading comprehension is piss-poor. I don't expect a lot when I explain a problem or send *very carefully crafted instructions* with screenshots that have little arrows and such to be extra helpful.

But lately it's gotten so so bad. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. No matter the lengths I go to, people are not meeting me halfway and it doesn't even seem like they're trying.

I've had to explain the exact same thing to coworker probably 4 times now, using clear, concise language. And now I'm having to explain it to her boss because apparently she doesn't believe me? Wants to go over my head? It's baffling.

I sent email instructions to a guy with a very simple, 3-step process for getting his VPN updated. I said, "please see the instructions below". He elected not to even look at the instructions and I can tell because he's like, "Hey I tried to open that file and it didn't do anything."

MOTHERFUCKER. PER MY LAST EMAIL you have to save it first, go into the VPN app, click the + sign and import the file. AS IT SAYS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. WITH PICTURES. HELP ME HELP YOU OR LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. 😤

its a shame trans people have to be so guarded about deadnames and loathe to dredge them back up. hits his head on door frames if he’s not careful; there have been multiple safe houses/flats where he could not stand up properly and resulted in squat-walking/crawling around → this plus his inability to sit still made it a very long wait for everyone else stuck in there with him

his voice is naturally very growly, but he speaks a little bit higher pitched than most people would expect coming from his body → this is because he deliberately tries not to frighten people with his default speaking voice and when he's nervous his voice pitches up anyway

loves being dominated and told what to do in the bedroom/private spaces - again, is independent and unhinged in the field, but likes being able to give that up and just relax when he’s alone/with his partner(s)

can experience asmr and thus unironically listens to it and enjoys it

keeps himself well groomed and yet his hair used to just barely meet military regulations - since joining kortac he’s grown it out a bit and it’s shaggy and soft

has a pretty decent singing voice → mostly for lullabies

has a very big soft spot for children → is unsure if he'd ever want some of his own someday but he does find their boundless energy and innocence beautiful and worth protecting
