Kirby, do you actually want to have wings yourself?
Excellent question! I actually answered that question awhile back but that was for the old plot line of the story. So this answers for the new plot line...
Right now Kirby doesn't know about MK's wings. So hope you don't mind if Meta Knight answers for this one.
In the previous post I said that wings were a mark of status and only the four legendary Warriors (the ones sealed away Void Termina).
All of them met tragic ends thanks to their status as legendary warriors... The moment they were given wings their fates were sealed, which is why Meta Knight doesn't wish that for Kirby along with his own past.
There was always going dark back story for Meta Knight getting his wings but in the story reboot of the story he is born with them and was seen as cursed without a warp star (there is another reason why he doesn't have a warp star but that's yet to be revealed).
And I also wanted to make it clear Galacta Knight was not born a villain he's more of a tragic fallen hero and is meant to be seen as so and had the qualities of being a great hero it was the expectation of the ancients are what destroyed him, plus that fact that they sealing him away in a crystal.
Meta Knight is 100% aware... they're really meant to be the Yin & Yan for each other. He could could have been good... they could have been friends.

"damn never noticed" and continued on with their lives and then 3 days later saw the friend with 4 rows of teeth and noticed she had 2 rows of teeth then realize the entire day she had was a dream and proceeded to sit in silence for half an hour or was it just me bc lemme tell ya my entire perception on reality was changed

Aay here it is; the first mention of the Dude. I can't get over the name Xaden lmao it simultaneously sounds like a villain from a saturday morning cartoon mixed with a white gen z boy from rural Michigan.
There was also mention of a Dain a bit earlier? I'm a bit scared it's gonna be another one of those pointless love triangle à la Gale/Katniss/Peeta ugh. Moving onwards...~

the thing about tsoa for me is that I think conceptually looking at the iliad/trojan war through the limited perspective of one of the heroes in contrast to the more distant perspective of the original poem is actually really interesting, and I think seeing two young and innocent boys for whom war is just a vague idea be thrust into a ten year long bloodbath and seeing how that changed them and their relationship (romantic and otherwise) would be a very interesting story. it’s just that that’s not really what the book does and instead it’s kind of meh

So I put the ask in the discord but I'll put it here too before I try to go the fuck to sleep:
With this new plotline of Toya getting to be a Pro Hero before he 'dies', we should change the manner of 'death', right?
Probably still some kind of fire. Maybe less directly his own fault other than 'goddamn it kid you decided to go into a fire without being fire proof'.
I'm down for stacking more guilt/blame on Endeavor along the lines of 'why didn't you help him/save him?'.
