Je voulais voir, parler, communiquer, contempler...

C'était sans compter sur ce poison qui fait qu'au final plus rien n'a de sens, plus rien n'a de socle, plus rien n'est possible.

L'abus était là et les heures passantes ne faisaient que brouiller les pistes et me perdre dans les méandres de ma profonde tristesse.

J'ai alors vacillé... perdu tout contrôle de moi, perdu tout lien avec la réalité.

Le retour fût difficile, perdu dans ce qui devait être ma caverne, un cocard à l'œil, des souvenirs vagues, des maux oubliés mais bien réels.

Qu'avais-je encore fait ? Le chaos, l'amnésie, quelques indices de ci, de là ... retour à la réalité qui n'est pas si cruelle que ça.

Cruel je l'ai été envers moi-même, envers mon corps, mes sens, mes pensées...

Puisse tu me quitter maîtresse...

One of the newest pieces in a series of silverpoint drawings. I love the precision and delicacy of silverpoint. It takes so many layers of fine marks to get those dark values that I find myself revisiting older pieces and adding to them. It’s a time consuming medium, but I love it! Plus the warm patina that develops is uniquely lovely.
