hes so silly, playful, curious, a trickster, energetic, and foxes are kinda mix between a dog and cat. He's a bit of a loner.

I see foxes as having the energy and playfulness of a dog but the gracefulness and wariness of a cat as well.

HIS LAUGH EVEN SOUNDS LIKE A FOX. KEKEKEK (might be a bit of a stretch but hahah I'll take it)

I love the idea of Kaito with black fox ears and a tail. gotta draw him one day!

Then he temporarily dyes it/paints/sprays it for KID

This is more about human Kaito but well I headcanon when he gets flustered, his ears heat up. It would be so cute to pinch his red ears~ which are red just like a fox's fur hahhahah

Edit: Another headcanon - Love language is teasing, physical touches, quality time. Very fitting for a fox~ He's very touchy to friends and lover(s - well whatever ship it is XD)

My turn to draw KID as anthro! Previously had only a face design, now I finished the ref, and here he is, from head to toes- I mean, paws 8DD

Some explanations and thoughts under the cut!

I think of Kaito Kuroba as a tanuki (trash raccoon moment haha, except he’s canine) in my AU, with a shapeshifting ability. Usually using it at school or among friends (and usually shifting only partially, like only a head and tail or hands) just for fun, he found a use for it when he became Kaitou KID. When he’s KID, he’s turning himself into a platinum fox, for disguise’s sake (there are even rumours, that he’s not just a fox, but a kitsune, among his fans and the police). He still has some similarities with his usual form’s markings tho, especially his face “mask” and the diamonds on his back and tail :>

Although Kaito’s shapeshifting ability is much less perfect than his dad’s, that’s why when he’s using it during arsons to disguise as other people for a short time, he’d likely shift only those parts that may be visible (i.e. the head and neck, tail and hands, etc), or he may lose it too suddenly, like if he’s got scared or someone grabs him by the tail or smth xd He needs to be careful

Aaron —> An: "A very bright and passion member if I have to say so myself. Very careful friend of Kohane, an emotional support. I can guess that we can never separate them, huh?"

Aaron —> Toya: "If I had to guess, a serious fellow. A little bit quiet but can also be very involved. He seems to be very excited to try new things, especially if it involves with outdoor activities. Huh, a sheltered kid I presume?"

Rin —> Aaron: "He is the coolest and the most amazing person! One time, when KAITO was late, Aaron came over and teach us his dance move! And after that, he tell a story on what happened to his world! Monster, wizard data, and more!"

KAITO —> Aaron: "A very brave and energetic person, he always ask me if I could give some of my song remixes for him to hear it in his headphone! He seems to like my DJ skill, hehe. What a nice guy!"

Luka —> Aaron: "Seems like a good person to be around. I get along very well with him, along with KAITO. While Miku, MEIKO or the twins was busy, and it just us, we do what we always do for fun!"

Aaron with VBS Virtual Singer:

Aaron —> Miku: "A very rad queen! Haha, just kidding. But seriously, she's awesome and cool. She and I get along well as for our dance and music skill. But everyone had warn me of her cooking, is it bad?"

Aaron —> MEIKO: "The best barista that she even own the cafe herself! I get along with her, she even taught me how to make coffee. But uh, words of advice, never mess her kitchen..."

Aaron —> Len: "A very rad little dude! He does seem pretty mature or is he trying to be? Hehe, I won't judge! Reminds me a bit of Robin. Should I bring Robin's gift that he give me?"

Aaron —> Rin: "A rad sister of Len! She seems to be very active and always on some level of energy! But at most of it, she seems kind and more of mature. A bit of an Ava but with no technical around her."

Aaron —> KAITO: "A DJ? Heh, now that's awesome! He seems to be a carefree person, I respect that. His DJ skill is pretty cool! I have to ask him if he got any song remixes for me to put it on my headphone."

Aaron —> Luka: "At some point, we alway met at some streets around the Sekai. MEIKO had said that Luka always get lost at some point. To make it simple, we get along!"
