Kagerou Days (also the Jubyphonic version, or any version rlly! That’s just my favorite one, and it’s in English): this one I feel like is Mr. Midnight towards Fran. I headcanon that the Mr. Midnight we see in the game that talks actually came from an alternate reality, and his Fran died. Fran’s REAL Mr. Midnight died (that’s why we see the cat in the grave) Itward helped bring them back together because there was no way they’d be able to find each other on their own. Mr. Midnight has seen Fran die, and I imagine is really heartbroken over it, and wants to do anything to keep her safe.

Fran Bow AU? Elaborate as deeply as possible O.O

When Smokescreen was a youngling, his brothers were killed. The deaths of Prowl and Bluestreak were said to be done by Decepticons. Smokescreen himself, was there to see the aftermath. The trauma was enough to have him sent to a mental hospital.

At the hospital he met many other younglings who had gone through their own traumatic experiences. His doctor, Ambulon, gave him a new medication that helps him see a world not meant to be seen. Smokescreen runs into Remor a few times, scared of the beast who wishes to claim his spark.

With the help of a toy version of his cybercat, Midnight, he escapes the hospital. Midnight was given to Smokescreen as a gift from his brothers. Once Smokescreen makes it through the maze he manages to make a door that leads him to a home.

Smokescreen meets Rack n' Ruin. Conjoined twins, put together by a mad mech. The twins hated each other and wished more than anything to be free of the other. Smokescreen is tasked with separating them, and with some clever thinking, he manages to kill them and escape. Though the killing part was accidental. He didn't know the spell could do that.

Finally reunited with Midnight, Smokescreen wanders across a bridge. Remor destroys the bridge and Smokescreen finds himself in Ithersta. His body made of plush and fabric. Midnight helps him in his journey in the new world. Smokescreen finds a notebook, which tells him many things about the horrible things he's been seeing. He even befriends a doctor named Palontris.

Once leaving Ithersta, and returning to his body, Smokescreen meets Itward. They hop onto his ship and Smokescreen learns more about this Ultra Reality. He even helps defeat a Kamala. Unfortunately the ship goes down and Smokescreen crashes, losing Midnight again.

Ambulon finds Smokescreen and takes him to a cemetery, where they find the graves for his brothers and himself. Though in Smokescreen's grave, is a cybercat. He manages to figure out he can slip in and out of the Ultra Reality without the pills. Smokescreen finds himself unconscious.

Waking up to see Barricade standing in front of him, ab old friend of his brothers. Barricade had chained Smokescreen to his berth and left. He escapes and finds himself in a twisted version of home. Strange creatures at every turn. Finally, he manages to wake Mabuka.

Inside Mabuka's spark is a waiting room for a doctor's office. Very strange. Once his number is called, Smokescreen enters the doctors. He encounters Remor again, who tries making Smokescreen think he was the one to kill his brothers.

Smokescreen enters the office and finds Ambulon and Midnight, who Smokescreen attempts and fails to free. Barricade walks over with someone else. Shockwave. The con had been using the mental hospital as a cover for sick experiments, and Smokescreen was about to be his next subject.

Smokescreen is shot, but Midnight, Itward, and Palontris all come in for the rescue. Barricade is killed and Shockwave is flung far away. Smokescreen is revived from the brink of death and Ambulon is forced to forget Smokescreen completely.

After a long time of traveling with his new friends, Smokescreen decides to finally stop and join the Elite Guard. After a while he convinces himself it was just his imagination. A way to deal with the trauma. But he was quite wrong. Alpha Trion knew this, but never shared the information.

Once Smokescreen arrived to Earth, the Ultra Reality began to slip through once more. Smokescreen found Kamalas holding tight to his friends. Though a Volakas, a being of light, stayed close to Optimus.

Now that the Ultra Reality is slipping back into Smokescreen's view, he is confused. He doesn't know what to do and doesn't wish to seem insane. He stays quiet, but for how long?

hihihihi i promise i saw you send this in a few hours after you asked this and i truly didnt mean to push writing this off for so long ive just been going through it (2 new interests have been kicking my ass for the past 7 or so weeks) but we're back !!

CAUTION these hcs are heavily centered around my concept!! i wasnt totally sure if you wanted these as romantic, so i decided to go down a middle road and just make it how interacting with the guy would probably go down + other ideas!! warning this is a lot of scattered rambling because my brain is all over the place and its 7am

the main thing that my take on zalgo and the main fandom interpretation have in common is the fat that theyre both powerful entities capable of causing mass destruction and chaos

however my zalgo exists more so as a... weird half concept half tangible entity if that makes sense? like he indirectly interacts with the world around him instead of going out and wrecking things himself; a close comparison i can think of is mother mabuka from fran bow but even then it seems she has more direct influence in that universe compared to zalgo... or maybe my interpretation of her is all whack too but eh

exists everywhere and nowhere at once, in my au he's responsible for the creation of the other creepypasta characters. for demon characters like slenderman or the rake he hand crafted them himself to cause torment. for characters like ben or eyeless jack he plants the seed to cause them to become what they were. for ben he allowed him to come back as an angry ghost, and for eyeless jack he made the curse that eventually infects the guy (although jack was just the unlucky host, zalgo had no specific target)

and keeping true to the original zalgo comic stuff, he can corrupt media in anyway he wishes, and perhaps implant subliminal messages or 'viruses' to infect more people? that second part is mostly a concept idea but i vibe with it

so how does one interact with a being that doesn't totally exist?

at least you cant initiate it; no if zalgo wants to be perceived by you he'll come to you, typically if you can offer something to him (usually the ability to cause issues for others, ie general creepypasta character criteria)

injecting this really quick but admin is really into the concept of certain characters/entities being just a simple part of nature, zalgo falls under this idea. he just exists because of the laws of the universe

is he capable of forming bonds? sure he definitely has some sort of favoritism towards certain creatures thanks to how effective they are, but like, what about emotional bonds?

probably not, if im being honest; like sure he can check in on you more often than his other agents of chaos, but that doesn't necessarily mean hes your friend

but lets pretend you somehow made friends with the omnipresent and almost omniscient birthplace of wrath and doom:

you cant touch him but he can touch you, kinda. it kinda feel like being wrapped around with a huge freeing cold and immensely heavy blanket when he decides to grace you with his presence

you know how when in adventure time, the lich makes the screen go dark (ex. the fall meme) i feel like itd be something like that

though ive never watched adventure time/never got too far into it SOBS i plan on changing that i promise

oh he is so so so clingy and he so truly hates your mortality

even in death he wont let you go, he'll probably forcefully bring you back, and by extension twisting you into something you weren't before

like this dude is genuinely not someone you want to fuck around with

even if you dont end up dying hes probably going to change you in some way at some point

on a lighter note hes the type to tear the world apart for you, both in the "i care about you as much as a creature like me can" and a "if you ever leave me im going to find you, i already know where you are because i have eyes everywhere"

like i dont like writing stuff that can dip into yandere territory but like. zalgo would do that kind of shit

bonus hcs, he doesnt really care how people perceive him.. because they cant, and even if he allows it he still doesnt care. wanna use any pronouns for him? he doesnt give a damn. see him as a god? as a devil? he doesnt care. truly could not give a shit what you think, he is unbothered

out of all the creepypastas, zalgo is the one i have with the most changing hcs

esp since in this au hes like. the reason everyone exists as they are, and why everything is going on; he is literally the reason all the bad things happened to everyone and hes responsible for the monster-type characters existence

Fran Bow & Chekhov's gun

(The title is a joke and at the same time it isn't ^^;;)

Spoilers for the very end of the game (and a pretty sad theory about it.)

When I first played the game (and the second and the third time too), I had totally forgotten about the gun Fran found in the very beginning in the nurse's desk. She thought then something like, "why does the nurse have this, she's going to kill us all!" And then, at the very end, we see Dr. Oswald shooting Fran with what I'm now sure has to be the very same gun.

Now, here's the sad theory: Fran really is crazy. Everything (and I mean absolutely everything) is her imagination. Little Fran in ch. 5 is a memory from the past, and she is already then at the asylum. When Fran thinks she's been chained to her bed, she in fact being restrained in the asylum. When she's freed, she's perhaps being taken to see the doctor... or maybe to the dreadful basement. Maybe when she descends into Mabuka's heart, maybe that's when she's taken to the downstairs.

And then, because of her hallucinations she attacks someone (probably not Aunt Grace but a nurse), and the old nurse shoots her to stop her. And so she dies... and at the very end imagines all her friends coming to save her.

I think her hallucinations are based on things she has heard in the asylum (for example, rumors about the twins and their fate). Also, she surely knows the story of Alice in Wonderland, and that probably had an effect on her too. We saw in ch. 5 a photo of her and her friend Alice (even though she earlier said her cat was her only friend!) And this Alice supposedly liked coming up with stories about a wonderland she could visit. Maybe she too was an imaginary friend? Or another insane girl in the asylum who thought she was the Alice of the story...

I wonder if Mr. Midnight even existed. The little Fran didn't know anything about him. And in that photo of Fran and Alice (if it is real), she has something that looks like stuffed toy cat.

What was behind Fran's madness, then? Perhaps she was crazy from birth. (I'm still wondering if she didn't have a stillborn twin. There are references to stillbirth in the game.) Or perhaps her relationship with her parents wasn't quite that good (I've talked about this before, but that "daddy wasn't there, mommy would not care" really hints at that), and maybe she did kill her parents, or at least attacked them. The way she says "everything is fine" makes me think the opposite might be true.

I wonder if her parents were killed the way it's shown in the beginning. After Fran wakes up from the hypnotism, the nurse asks the doctor if there was anything new, and he replies, "same visions as before." Perhaps they are only that. Visions. Delusions. Who knows?

In any case, Fran has some kind of a trauma, that is for sure. The nurse's book in the beginning had a mention that children with trauma might find it hard to trust people. Perhaps this is why Fran thought Aunt Grace had betrayed her (after all, Grace didn't get her out of the asylum).

Well... I don't know. And of course, it's impossible to claim that any theory would be the only true one. I think this is what I believe at the moment though... that sadly, none of it is real, she spent the whole time in the "House of Madness" and in the end died there.

...the first chapter was called "My Sober Day." That was the only chapter where we saw her in the real asylum. Perhaps that was the only time in the game when she was sober... that is, clear-headed at all. And from then on, she just went downhill. Maybe she did steal some pills that fed her hallucinations.

I have been meaning to explain this to you for. A while now. But I keep forgetting. But I going to explain FREE from the Fran Bow/Littel Misfortune universe. Because it's cool as hell. :3

(I do want to say, while both games a re really cool Fran Bow has a lot of gore, and Little Misfortune tackles some very uncomfortable things and gets really gross so I don't really. Recommend watching. There are also two very notable [Removed]s who torment kids so like. That's not cool.)

Anyways. The Five Layers of Essential Existence. The first layer is Primeve, which is ruled by the Great Valokas, the Lord of Light. It's also highly likely these beings of pure light known as Valokas. They are a force of good.

The second layer is Ithersta, the layer of life. Time doesn't mean much there, and there is a giant clock that can change the seasons. The people there are all bugs and plants, and it's in general a safe place. There's also a pool that the waters are said to be mixed with the blood of the Great Valokas, and it has healing properties. Palontris (this giant axoltyl looking creature) was born from its waters and is the caretaker of it! (Gonna be real. Despite being a very hard section for me being in Ithersta was really nice, it felt safe and no one was trying to hurt Fran and it was just chill. I liked it.)

The third layer is Pandora, and that's where Earth is. Pandora is the reality we know.

The fourth layer is Sendersee, and that's the layer of death. It's not bad, there is a little bit shown in the ending of Little Misfortune and it is very grey and dusty but it's not all that scary. That's also where Itward (the inventor skeleton who was Fran's imaginary friend when she was small, he is great I care him so much) was born and where he usually lives.

The fifth and last layer is Obscura, and is ruled by Mother Mabuka and her son Remore (one of the aforementioned [Removed]s, he has been tormenting Fran the whole game. He is regret and remorse). Obscura doesn't obey any particular rules, but is quite. Rooted in flesh? Like there is a lot of blood and meat and animals there. Humans aren't supposed to go there as it will break people's minds. Fran is ok though.

Light and Darkness are in a constant war, and while neither are labelled as good or bad, but Light is more assicated with freedom and creativity, and Darkness is associeted with regret and sadness.

Another thing I want to mention is that there are embodiments of both Light and Darkness, the Valokas are Light and Kamalas are Darkness. Though, if the Darkness is literally washed off the Kamalas (with water) they can become Valokas. It's not known how Kamalas are made but I find that interesting.

There's also the Ultrareality, which runs outside of the layers. It can be seen by certain people, though the rules of it aren't so clear as Fran sees it using pills she was given at the hospital and only one other person has really interacted with anything close and it's still like. Not really clear. There was a huge war between the creatures of the Ultrareality and the Five Realities, and some of the creatures slipped through. These creatures are incredibly dangerous as they play with humans, usually killing them first and just toying with their souls. So yeah. Not good. There is a force (spefically of light) keeping the other creatures at bay. (That's the plot of Little Misfortune, Miss Fortune is a child being played with by Morgo, one of the creatures. He SUCKS I HATE HIM)

So, since you said you write for Remor, I'd like to request romance headcanons of Remor x an imp reader who is very fond of him, (mostly) ignores what he did in the past, is very flirty (lol). They know about Fran and met her when she arrived in the fifth reality. Reader is kinda annoying sometimes because of his flirty personality, and they like to annoy Remor most of the time, since it's their way to show affection. (Btw reader can be gender neutral, male or female, up to you.)

while i love to try to make relationships and dynamics mostly healthy in my writing, remor gives off the vibe of bratty rich kid. cant explain why, he just does... can definitely see him giving you the silent treatment if you bug him too much

can be bossy sometimes, too, and him being a "royal" (son of Mabuka) doesnt make him any less annoying

i do think he would flirt back, regardless of if you guys are just friends or are dating; he seems the type to tease his friends
