Die Münze Österreich ist einer der wichtigsten Produzenten von Anlagegold. Neben dem weltberühmten Wiener Philharmoniker stellt sie auch Nachprägungen historischer Münzen her.

Diese Nachprägungen sind für Anleger interessant, weil es sich um Münzen handelt, die im Gegensatz zu den historischen Originalen viel näher am Goldpreis gehandelt werden.

Seit dem 13. Jahrhundert gibt es in Europa Dukaten, von großer Bedeutung waren beispielsweise im späten 13. Jahrhundert Golddukaten aus Venedig. Die meisten der Golddukaten, die heute noch im Umlauf sind, stammen jedoch aus Österreich, vom 16. bis 20. Jahrhundert .

Die Vorderseite zeigt die Schulter und den Kopf des jungen Kaisers Franz-Josef I., gekrönt mit einem Lorbeerkranz. Auf der Rückseite ist der doppelköpfige Adler der österreichisch-ungarischen Monarchie zu sehen.

We can see in the slides some illustrations during their visit, in the 3rd slide the Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria talking to the Russian Empress and next to her, Elizabeth the Empress of Austria nicknamed Sisi and Emperor Nicholas II,and the 4rth slide we can see a zoom in of that illustration showing the two Empresses who were considered to be the most beautiful at their times. Actually, Empress Alexandra saw Sisi 9 years ago when she was Princess Alix of Hesse, she was so impressed by her charm character and beauty. “On Saturday we saw the Empress of Austria, and I was perfectly enchanted with her. She has a most lovely, tall & thin figure (50 years old) and such a pretty face & soft voice.” wrote to her brother Prince Ernest of Hesse, 3 August 1887. “How funny it is to hear German spoken everywhere after 2 years in Russia. [...] Nicky drove with the Emperor [of Austria] & I followed with the Empress - I must say I am shy with all these masses of strange faces again. The Empress I had already seen twice before - she enquired after you. - Stephanie [the Dowager Crown Princess of Austria] was directly charming - she must be coming now in a minute - as she wanted to see me a little quietly. [...] At 5 there is an immense Dinner & Cercle (oh dear) & parade, then Pürschen for Nicky. At 4 family dinner at Leinz, then drive & later a Concert here in the Burg. New Zealand South Island Adventure day 7: Wanaka -> Franz Josef - Had farmstay last night. It was scary to drive through the winding gravel way in dark after dinner but the view turns out to be pretty good in the morning. Got back to Wanaka for brunch and then drove through the wild Mt Aspiring National Park to West Coast. Had numerous stops for sightseeing on the way that I can only name a few: Lake Hawea Lookout, Lake Wanaka Lookout, Blue Pools, Thunder Creek Falls, Knights Point Lookout, Bruce Bay Lookout. Arrived at Fox Glacier at 8PM and noticed a local pub was still offering dinner. Decided to get steak to recharge before heading to the final destination Franz Josef feeling lucky it was at least pies, pastry or some cookies. It was only 23KM from Fox Glacier to Franz Josef but it turned out to be the most winding drive in the trip so far. It was good that I was just recharged with steak after a whole day’s long haul drive but then it got dark after dinner. I don’t have time to stay in the glacier country for the hiking and snow landing activities. At Franz Josef, surrounded by glacier. You can't miss a hilicopter ride around. I'd hope that the heli ride was longer and a bit more scenic. BUT the main point of this post is to also spread awareness. The heli hike has been a very educational trip for me. Understanding the geographical structure of the glacier and also knowing that climate change has affected the melting of Franz Josef glacier 10% faster than it should be. . . Swipe left and see that boulder behind? That is supposed to be covered up by glacier!! But it is now a massive hole exposed... Always ensure to be more environmental friendly with our daily life. And spread that awareness, influence and be cautious about the actions that will affect our mother nature. There will be no quality of life if the world you live in are loosing the bare necessities to survive!! [NZ-RT24] Bis fünf Minuten vor Start gingen wir davon aus, dass wir heute den „Alex Knob Track“ laufen. Wetterbedingt wurden wir vor Ort von einem Wanderer umgestimmt lieber den „Robert's Point Track“ zu wandern. Die Route führte entlang von Bächen, über Brücken und durch dichten Urwald. Am Ende erhielten wir einen grandiosen Blick auf den „Franz-Josef-Gletscher“. Danach ging es auf der „6“ weiter Richtung Süden. Eher zufällig hielten wir am „Ship Creek Beach“. Licht- und delfinbedingt eskalierten wir kurz mit unseren Kameras. Die Nacht verbrachten wir, da alle Spots belegt waren, im absoluten Niemandsland-Camp „Pleasant Flat“. Until five minutes before the start we assumed that we would walk the "Alex Knob Track". Due to the weather, a local hiker convinced us to hike the "Robert's Point Track" instead. The route led along streams, over bridges and through dense jungle. At the end we got a magnificent view of the "Franz Josef Glacier". Afterwards, we continued south on the "6". By chance we stopped at the "Ship Creek Beach". Due to the combination of light and dolphins we escalated briefly with our cameras.
