Because Mito Freecss is Gon’s mother figure I think people forget that she is only 23 at the beginning of the story (25 in current arc) Thats a year younger than Illumi😂
(No Ging didn’t leave Gon just with 11 year old Mito. He left Gon with with his and Mito’s grandma but as she got older Mito took over caring for Gon probably because it became harder for Grandma to.)

Gon and Pariston for the character thingy !
first impression: this show is stupid why is this kid named freaks [stops watching after one episode] ← true story
impression now: protagonists of all time i'm so sorry goncito
favorite moment: explaining how he cheats at rock paper scissors
idea for a story: first two years of gon's life i'm dying to know
unpopular opinion: he doesn't have abandonment issues (while killua and mito clearly do)
favorite relationship: the whole disaster that is the freecss family
favorite headcanon: i could try to guess what he and ging talked about on world tree but it's already wild that it includes gon's suicide vow

Retrieving Stolen Kisses [Gon x Killua]
Summary: Gon doesn't know what to do when Killua's first kiss is stolen by someone else. All he knows is that if Killua is gonna get kissed, it's gonna be done right.
Read on Fanfiction.net
Read on AO3
or Read below the cut
The day had started regularly enough. Pro-hunters Gon Freecss and his best friend Killua Zoldyck decided to take up a local job in a quiet seaside town. The picturesque laid between the sea in the east and mountains in the west, their crescent formation a natural barrier against the outside world. The locals needed the hunters to get rid of a nen user that had been pestering their people for weeks, a crooked witch who had the power to stun you with a kiss. She was hardly a threat as much as she was a nuisance, but her whip and her ability made it impossible for the average fighter to stop her.
By time Gon had come to it was already too late. Hurt was the first thing to hit his face as he saw realized what had happened to Killua, followed by anger.
The pair made their way towards the adjacent forest right at the base of the mountains where she was last spotted and sure enough they spotted their target. The fight was looking to be done and over with until said user knocked Gon a few feet back with her whip, until she caught Killua in her whip and kissed him.
On the mouth.
"Yeah my muscles still feel a little stiff though. Ugh, can't believe that crazy lady kissed me. I'm gonna be downing mouth wash for weeks" Killua said as stood up and dusted his signature blue shorts off, stretching the numbness from his limbs. Gon smiled in relief and stood up with him. They’d grown a bit taller since they separated at the world tree.
The fight ended shortly after.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Killua! Are you okay?!" Gon hovered above his groaning friend on the ground. He had been laying face up for most of the fight, unable to move his head and neck. Luckily the paralysis didn’t seem to last long
Killua turned to him. "So what happened while I was out? Did you take care of her?"
What did happen after that? Gon thought back to the battle; specifically the kiss. He wasn’t exactly sure how he felt about it.
Now it feels like something important was taken from his best friend and he’s not going to stand for it.
"Yup she won't be bothering anyone for a while." Gon’s smile not as bright as it usually was. He clenched his fists. "But, I shouldn't have let her get to you. I could've stopped it."
Killua shuffled awkwardly but otherwise feigned nonchalance.
"It's ok Gon. Considering what we usually go against, this was practically a cake walk."
"Yeah but she kissed you!" Gon whined. "Aren't you mad that a stranger did that?"
A kiss was something very special. It was a way to show someone you care about them. Not something to be used for harm.
"Idiot, it didn't mean anything. It was just embarrassing. So what if my first kiss was taken like-"
"IT WAS YOUR FIRST KISS?!" Gon leaned in until his face was mere inches from Killua's.
This changed everything. Not only did that nen user use a kiss in a malicious manner but she stole his first kiss too!
Killua turned away blushing "Geez I already told you I never went on any dates and stuff of course I never kissed anyone either."
Killua never really thought about things like that, he didn't really have the luxury to. Years trapped in the Zoldyck Mansion under his oppressive family didn’t exactly make it easy to find a date. Even now that he’s freed from their hold, he doubts he’ll ever have a chance to date the one he wants most.
The young Zoldyck started making his way back to town. He looked back at his friend, his eyes missing their usual glimmer.
"Look it's fine, We're hunters. We’re gonna have to make sacrifices, and besides..." He tore his gaze from Gon and continued his pace
".... It's not like I had someone to give my first kiss to anyway."
With that he left his best friend to stew in his thoughts as he went ahead to their hotel.
Gon just couldn't understand how Killua could be so nonchalant about the whole affair.
He hadn’t thought about kissing in a long time and he didn’t need to. He had Killua and being a hunter to keep him busy and away from deeper more complicated feelings.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was an hour later when Gon rejoined Killua in their hotel room.
From Gon's view at the front door he could see Killua's soft white hair peak from behind the couch. His hand ;loosely holding a TV remote, switching between channels intermittently. He lazed along the couch in his white tank top and some loose shorts.
Gon followed suit; discarding his green jacket and boots to join Killua on the other side of the couch. His friend finally settling on the Heaven's Arena network.
"Oh hey, What took you so long?" Killua said, eyes focused on the match.
"Sorry I was just doing some thinking" Gon replied in a bored tone. He still didn't know what to make of his feelings, but he knew Killua was struggling too. The way his blue eyes dulled with a hint of sorrow as he turned away and left was proof enough. He wasn't going to let Killua close himself off anymore, not when he can help.
"Hey Killua it's ok if you're upset about the kiss. Nobody would’ve wanted to get kissed like that"
Killua scrunched his face but otherwise kept his attention to the TV screen. "I told you I'm not upset. It just caught me off guard. I don’t have anyone I wanna kiss."
"But you wish you did. I saw it in your eyes." Gon pressed on, leaning forward to examine the other boy's bored expression for hints of emotion. All he saw was eyebrows knit in annoyance.
Killua's voice took on a more irritated tone. "Well I don't. Who the hell would I kiss stupid? Bisky? Blegh!"
Of course that someone he wanted to kiss most was Gon but he knew such a confession had the chance to ruin their friendship, and it's not he’d ever have the chance.
"Why not kiss me?"
Killua nearly snapped his neck as he stared at his friend in disbelief, a red blush dusting his neck and cheeks. Gon returned the gaze un-fazed. A small smile hinting showing his satisfaction that Killua was finally looking at him and not the TV.
"I-idiot! Do you hear yourself?"
"Yeah but you said you don't have anyone and you're my best friend so you'd be able to kiss some special to you!" Gon beamed, as if it was the smartest idea he ever came up with. It probably was.
Killua blushed furiously. Just where did he get these stupid ideas from anyway?
"I'm not gonna kiss you just because you feel sad for me. If someone is gonna kiss me it should be because they really want to."
Gon blinked. "But I do want to. I think kissing Killua would be nice."
The words echoed in Killua’s head. Gon Freecss, his best friend since they were twelve, wants to kiss him. He said it as if it was a new trick he wanted to try out. His blush from before came back with a vengeance, stretching from his cheeks to the tips of his ears. But he wasn’t ready to get his hopes up yet.
Killua narrowed his eyes. "Gon, You know best friends don't really kiss each other. Usually if you wanna kiss someone it's because you like them; and I mean like like me."
Killua watched him ponder the statement, making a mental note to get a wet rag ready for if Gon overheats.
A few minutes passed and just when Killua was about to complain, Gon responded. "I think I do like you Killua. It was hard understanding why I hated seeing you get kissed but I think that's why; I was kind of jealous. You're so cool and kind and pretty and you deserve the very best!"
Gon wasn't sure what to make of his feelings until it was too late. He had always cared for Killua but never dwell on the extent of that idea. Deep down, he knew that Killua was more than a friend to him. He got complacent, he was comfortable with their current dynamic. They still shared the same bed, they ate together, and went everywhere together. Functionally they were a couple and Gon was content to leave it at that.
But then he saw Killua get kissed. He saw his chance slip away. He saw something he never knew he wanted get taken away by someone who didn’t know how wonderful Killua was. And if anybody was gonna kiss Killua it had to be someone who could respect and cherish him for the amazing person that he is.
Gon grabbed Killua's hands, rubbing the pale silky fingers with his tan calloused ones.
"Killua I like you"
Killua froze, his eyes staring at their hands. They were holding hands, their bodies facing each other as their legs hung of the edge. This was real, this was happening. His only anchor to the present being the warmth radiating from beneath his palm. He looked back up, searching Gon's eyes for any contradictions but the amber eyes only reflected unwavering determination and love.
He looked away, still unable to cope with the weight of his situation. Any minute now he expected to wake up and find himself in bed or worse in the Zoldyck dungeon, because he can't begin to fathom why he of all people deserved to be this happy.
Killua hung his head low, his eyes closed to suppress tears that threatened to form. He gave a weak smile. "This feels like a dream. How do I know that you won’t disappear?"
Gon's hands slipped from Killua's and went to grab his friend's face, his thumbs wiping away the beginnings of tears. He held Killua's gaze and said "Kiss me and we'll find out."
And he did; he did trust Gon. He would follow the boy to the ends of the earth if allowed. With no more words left to be said, Killua let himself be swept by Gon's presence, closing his eyes and leaning into Gon's touch in acceptance.
Not long after, he felt soft lips against his own. Gon's head was tilted at a slight angle, while Killua had rested his hands on his friends shoulders. Their lips were slightly chapped but the feeling more than made up for it, his senses going into overload.
He felt his heart pounding in his ears, the thundering beat deafening in his ears. It felt like he had ran a marathon. But there was an underlying sweetness to it, like he could feel every word of praise, every look of adoration, every ounce of love that the island boy had for his best friend. Like he really did treasure Killua.
The kiss was a simple touching of lips and barely lasted a minute but it had left the two boys breathless and dazed, both of them not quite believing what had just happened.
"Wow Killua that was just... wow"
Killua looked at the faint blush painting Gon's cheeks. "Yeah... you were right that was way different"
Gon eyes shifted to Killua's lips "Wanna do it again?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The boys were currently in their shared bed. Moonlight peaking through the curtains and casting it’s light upon their blankets.
Killua turned to the other boy who was staring at the ceiling.
"Hey Gon I never asked but was your first kiss special?"
Gon crossed his hands above his chest and hummed.
"Oh yeah she was a friend I made on Whale island. She was really nice."
Killua couldn't help the pout that appeared on his face at the statement. Why ask a question he already knew the answer to?
"... But I wish my first kiss was with Killua. Although I'm glad I get to kiss you anytime I want now" he grinned.
Killua rolled over facing away from Gon, pulling his blanket above his head to hide his red face.
"Tch. Idiot."
Unexpected Gift
Day 1 of @hxhsmallchristmas
Pairing: Alluka/Canary
Rating: T
AU: Modern setting, they’re in their 30s, working as doctors in the same hospital.
____________________
Early thirties, hot, single and an accomplished professional gets you a lot of interest on dating apps. At a hospital it gives you the Christmas shift if your profession is a surgeon at a children’s ward. In the minds of your colleagues: no partner or kids of your own means that you won’t be missing out on anything if you stay at work, besides you’ll get a day off later, maybe. Okay, so maybe Canary’s attractiveness mattered only to Alluka, who had nothing to do with the decision as to who worked on Christmas, then again people were an envious bunch.
Absolved from any involvement Alluka could shamelessly use this opportunity to make a more serious move. On an average day, when they sometimes met in the break area, she couldn’t do too much with other people present. With the hospital almost empty on the night between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Alluka could get bolder.
Or do nothing at all. They didn’t keep a surgeon on site for the fun of it, one of the kids spending the holidays in the ward took a turn for the worse and had to be operated on immediately. Alluka had to walk past sobbing parents and a sleeping sibling on her way to the break area with a picnic basket in hand. She felt like a fool and questioned whether she shouldn’t turn back and toss the green and red ribbon decorated thing into the nearest dumpster. The thought that the family would somehow spot her, even if she tried the staircase at the other end of the building, kept her put. She killed time watching videos on her phone.
Canary went past the window of the break lounge after 5 am, she gave Alluka a quick smile before she disappeared to talk to the parents. More waiting and double the stress. And of course over analysing how it was the dumbest idea Alluka’d ever had. Instead of romantically swooping in with sandwiches, honey tea and gingerbread she’d been caught waiting, her intentions clear.
Canary looked tired when she finally came in.
“Fancy seeing you here,” she greeted Alluka with a sweet yet knowing smile.
“Do you mind?” At that point trying to sell her some silly story didn’t feel right.
“No, though because of the sneakiness you didn’t inform that kid’s guts that internal bleeding is going to ruin your plans, he’d’ve been better off if you had.”
Alluka snorted. “How did it go?”
“Fine, the crisis is averted.” She dropped onto a sofa.
Alluka picked up the basket and pulled up a chair to sit next to her. “This is for us … you … I mean you’re probably hungry.”
“Aren’t you after so many hours?” Canary took the basket from Alluka’s hands and opened it. “What’s in the thermos?”
“Tea with orange slices, ginger, spices and honey, I hope it’s still hot.” Alluka got up to get some mugs from the cupboard.
“Good choice.” Canary put the thermos on the coffee table.
“Winter is the best time for drinks.” She returned with two mugs and poured them the tea. The bland lounge instantly became more homely as the sweet citrusy scent filled it. The small plastic tree with a few lights was suddenly putting in far more work to create the right ambiance.
“I agree, though late autumn is pretty good, too. The fruity and spicy season starts then.”
“Yeah.”
They unwrapped their sandwiches.
“You did shapes! Like in Mito Freecss’ recent video. So cute.”
“I tried to make the star with the tail first, but it kept breaking off, so just regular stars and bells,” Alluka said flustered. Canary’s enthusiastic reaction made her want to play down the effort.
“And they taste amazing, too!” Canary said after she tried hers. Alluka paired bitter orange thick cut jam with nutella for the maximum Christmas flavour.
Sounds of chewing and sipping filled the room, but the moment didn’t pass, they kept glancing at each other and smiling.
“Will you have some time after Christmas? I could make you some sandwiches in return, I’d hate not to be able to reciprocate such a great gift.”
Alluka bit her tongue, she was still learning how not to make herself small.
“I’d love that.”
“It’s a date, then.”
butterflies, they come alive by DecemberCamie ( G | 12,151 | 1/1 )
The idea behind the whole system is pretty simple. You pay a dollar, answer some questions, and out pops a couple of names of people you’d be compatible with. Compatible as in, you know, dating-wise.
Gon, though. Gon never really knew why he signed up. And neither did anyone else.
It wasn’t like Gon was ever without friends. Just the opposite, in fact. Everyone liked Gon. He talked to people, made them open up in ways no one else could.
So, it was as big a surprise to Gon as to anyone when the high school's matching system paired him with the one person he had never uttered a single word to during his past three years at Hunter High.
(a fic in which social butterfly Gon Freecss is accidentally paired up with social outcast Killua Zoldyck through a matching personality test; as Gon is thrown head-first into Killua's world, he slowly becomes more and more drawn to Killua in ways he could have never expected)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Running Start by DecemberCamie ( G | 8,318 | 4/4 )
“Wanna try, Killua?” Gon asks, breathless and grinning despite being tossed to the dirt less than thirty seconds ago.
Killua tears his gaze away from Gon’s bright face to the open field in front of him. A crowd of students are scattered around in an uneven circle, all cheering loudly as a boy and girl take their places on opposite sides of the ring.
“I’d need to know what the hell is even going on before I agree to anything,” Killua says, exasperated, and Gon’s grin only grows. “Why are you all hurling yourselves at each other like that?! You’re lucky you didn’t get your front two teeth knocked out!”
Gon laughs. “Don’t be silly, Killua! It’d be impossible to hit each other; you'd have to be soulmates for that to happen!”
(In a universe where a person cannot physically kiss someone who isn’t their soulmate, a class of idiotic high schoolers spend their free period running towards each other to see who could get the closest before the universe repels them)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
thus, with a kiss, I die by DecemberCamie ( G | 3,587 | 1/1 )
“What were you thinking?! Your part is Tybalt, Killua! Tybalt, not Juliet! Tybalt can’t kiss Romeo; did you forget Tybalt is Juliet’s cousin?! Or the fact that Romeo and Juliet are already married at this point in the performance! What are we going to do now?!”
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Match Point by DecemberCamie ( T | 4,615 | 1/1 )
“Gon,” Killua grounded out. “That is not the problem, here.”
“What is the problem, then? You’re cold, right?”
“Listen, if you- if you let me w-wear your jacket, everyone will think that you and me are...”
Gon leaned in close to Killua’s face, close enough for their noses to touch. “You and me are...what, exactly?”
“Are dating,” Killua hissed. He refused to lean away, to back off from the fiery challenge in Gon’s eyes. He wouldn’t give in to Gon, despite the weakness in his own knees.
Gon hummed. He stared at Killua with a strange intensity, like Killua was a fascinating puzzle or the world’s eighth natural wonder. He said softly, “Well. That’s not exactly a lie, is it?”
((based on the prompt: 'you own this jacket i really like but you never even wear it so you let me borrow it but i forgot it has your last name embroidered on the back so now people look at me and think we’re dating'))
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Come to Me by DecemberCamie ( G | 1,201 | 1/1 )
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” Killua hissed and dragged Gon off his bedroom windowsill by his drenched shirt. “You can’t just- just serenade me in the middle of the night!”
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
between pages by DecemberCamie ( G | 3,770 | 1/1 )
He teased, “You know, you’re really cute when you’re all flustered like this, Killua.”
Blue eyes widened, enraged. “I am not cute, dammit!”
“Mmm, yeah. You are.” He kissed Killua’s scarlet cheek before Killua could duck out of the way.
“Oh my god.” Killua tried to hide his face in his hands but Gon caught his wrists and pulled them down. Killua had nowhere to run or hide now, trapped between Gon’s body and the table at his back.
Which was bad for Killua, but very, very good for Gon.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Ask Me by DecemberCamie ( G | 1,938 | 1/1 )
“Give it back.”
Gon pouted and Killua growled, “Gon. You promised.”
“But it's so cute!” Gon whined. He could feel the crumpled note curled against his fingers in the center of his fist. It was amazing that something so small could cause such an emotional reaction out of Killua.
“It is not cute,” Killua hissed. “And you’ve had it all afternoon already—now give it!”
“…fine. But you have to tell me what it means.”
((written for the prompt: “I accidentally passed you an embarrassing note that was meant for my best friend dON’T YOU DARE READ IT.”))
I Want Something (Just Like This) by cheritsundere ( T | 35,823 | 4/4 )
"Look, Brother! They have a new action figure of you-R FAVORITE HUNTER," Alluka said, correcting her word choice when she remembered that they were out in public.
He looked into the store shop window. Situated among some of the most popular hunters was a tiny version of himself, striking a dynamic pose - his jacket flowing dramatically and little blue sparks decorating the base. It wasn't bad. Definitely an improvement over his 1st merch.
He heard a gasp to his left. "SilverShock is your favorite too?!"
With a quick turn, Killua was met with the biggest brown eyes he thought could exist and a smile even bigger. The kid couldn't be much older than him yet he had a feeling that Mr. Sunshine probably acted closer to a Kindergartner. He took a few steps closer to his sister to put some distance between them before answering. "He's more my sis's fave than mine, but yeah I think he's cool," Killua answered, internally patting himself on the back for his modesty. He was probably the best newcomer in the country if his stats were anything to go by, but still...
Mr. Sunshine was a fan of his?
Report x Card by olivemeister ( M | 11,057 | 1/1 )
balter by sincerelysamedt ( T | 2,597 | 1/1 )
Gon looks up, wide-eyed and maybe a bit shocked being caught either doing a bad rain chant or a bad and inaccurate chimp impression. Either way, it's hilarious. He feels his mouth twitch.
"Killuaaaa." Gon whines. "Don't laugh!"
Of course, Killua laughs.
(Contrary to popular speculation, Gon is not graceful.)
Cracked Stone by Espyunes ( G | 8,612 | 1/1 )
Prompt (Source "Writing.prompt.s" on Instagram): "There's a beautiful statue in the middle of a large city, and the rumour surrounding the statue is when they touch hands with their soulmate, they become human. Naturally, it becomes a perfect photo and video opportunity to pose while holding its hand.
One cute selfie attempt results in an empty statue podium and you just barely catching a very confused person in your arms."
In this case, Gon and some friends go to a city during a field trip which is known to have a rumoured statue, becoming one of the most famous tourist attractions of that place.
if I could begin to be half of what you think of me by Anonymous ( G | 8,916 | 1/1 )
When Killua opens his locker door he finds something unexpected. Something that was definitely not there before.
It’s a small strip of paper, only the size of a finger, and scribbled upon it are two words: Me encantas.
What is that? Italian?
(In which Killua has to deal with receiving love confessions in Spanish and his ever increasing feelings for Gon.)
"As Killua leans on the smudged bus window on his way home, watching road signs and cars blur by, he reflects on the elegant but firm pivot of Gon’s stance before a kick; the way every movement would pass through his entire body like a tidal wave; the way they would circle each other, hands raised and feet light, and thinks it was a little bit like a dance."
It's the beginning of senior year and Killua finally has a friend (or five) - just don't tell his family.
I finally figured out how to send asks on mobile :D Got any headcanons for how Illumi, Hisoka, (plus gon and Killua if it's not too much trouble) would decorate for Christmas? I just think that would be kinda poggers UwU
YESSSS I DO ACTUALLY! CANT WAIT TILL CHRISTMAS GUYS! I decided to just pin this post until the end of December so if anybody else wants any Christmas headcanons I’ll just add it here and I did put extra characters/headcanons because of that reason and if you want me to add anybody else just send in a request about it! (also dont mind the random juiceboxes I just left them out bc I don’t feel like adding new ones when adding random hc’s.) THANKS SO MUCH FOR REQUESTING! I’ll finish illumi and hisoka later but my food just arrived so I’m gonna go start on that first :)
Hunter x Hunter Christmas Event! This Event Includes The Main 4, The Adult Trio, The Phantom Troupe, The Zoldyck Family, The Freecss Family, And The Minor Characters!
Illumi
🧃 rich kid is gonna be the one with either nothing but a tree or literally is gonna go to the point of fake snow on the stair rails
🧃 it’s either nerf or nothing for this man. either go all out or don’t go at all mf
🧃 he likes Christmas except the fact it’s cold, girlie isn’t a fan of cold weather
🧃 he’ll probably do the jazz with the gingerbread cookies tho :’)
🧃 but yeah his tree’s gonna look like the ones in the movies with like all the height and the little balls with the perfect star on top bc babie is perfect so his tree should be too ✨
🧃 he says he doesn’t want anything but if you actually get him something he’ll be so touched-
🧃 he maybe will take a day off of fuck knows what to spend Christmas with anybody-
🧃 okay we all know he’s spending Christmas with hisoka and we can’t change that
🧃 poor baby he just wants to be held and feel the feeling of warmth again so he is a fan of hot chocolate
🧃 will not go out in the snow but he will go with you or anybody that wants to go outside and play
🧃 he isn’t a fan of dressing up but he’ll take his s/o out on a Christmas date (I will do a mini scenario/hc’s for this if you guys want.)
Hisoka
🧃 I feel if he wasn’t a pedophile or mass murderer they would hire him to work as a mall Santa Claus.
🧃 he’d probably do a color coded thing and the whole house would be that color
🧃 this mf would buy a gift for himself-
🧃 he wouldn’t do anything to his room and the biggest ick about him I have is that he has nothing in his room but a bed, dresser, desk, lamp, and nightstand like only the necessities so he wouldn’t do that much.
🧃 if he had a kid he’d 100% to elf on the shelf until they were like 16 years old and even use his nen ability to secretly make them move so the kid would believe in the magic for a while
🧃 he’s forcing illumi to come over cause he doesn’t want the little shit to be alone and sad on Christmas.
🧃 he got illumi a present
🧃 not a fan of those childish Christmas films but he’s pretty fond of the romance ones tbh
🧃 he literally never ends up under the mistletoe because everybody’s avoiding it so they won’t have to kiss the scary guy-
🧃 he can COOK asf so he’ll def make a feast for him and his s/o or just friends :)
Killua
🧃 he’s gonna be the most fun with all this, he want everything either blue, purple, or white. Literally he hates doing shit and not perfecting it (nikki minaj??)
🧃 he’d be the one to act like a mom saying “stupid I’m not buying that it’s too expensive!” and then you wake up with it under the tree- “you thought you weren’t getting it didn’t you?” I stg he is literally EVERY SINGLE MOTHER ON EARTH and it’s not even funny.
🧃 he wants to go play in the snow and make snow angels but he won’t say anything until you say something
🧃 hc that his ears and nose turn kinda red when it’s cold
🧃 he’s literally cooking a red velvet cake and there is no point in stopping him
🧃 he probably isn’t a morning christmas guy, he’s all for around 11-12 gifts so then you guys can bake cookies and play in the snow a ton because you got some energy stored up
🧃 this mf wants chocolate robots for Christmas and probably at one point in his life asked Santa for a new family but he didn’t deliver ig. (Illumi probably wrote him a fake Santa note saying that his family was better than everybody else’s.)
🧃 his parents forced him to go sing those fucking Christmas songs when they know damn well those kids sound ratchet.
🧃 he ALWAYS ends up under the mistletoe with somebody. Even if it’s unintentional it always happens.
🧃 a giant fan of wreaths for some reason? He puts one on every door.
Gon
🧃 his favorite holiday is Christmas so ohhh boy this is gonna be magical-
🧃 red green and white colors. you cannot change his mind literally that is what colors are in his head as soon as he hears the word Christmas.
🧃 the tree’s gonna be HUGE and he’s gonna want to decorate every room in the house. The bathroom, your room, his room, and yes he is that one neighbor with the fucking big ass lights outside-
🧃 he is a firm Santa believer he doesn’t take criticism.
🧃 literally is going to wake everybody up at 6 fucking am to open gifts and everybody is gonna do it because can we really resist his pouty face? no.
🧃 the joy on his face opening any gifts make it a fucking can of baked beans makes it all worth losing about 3-4 hours of sleep :,)
🧃 he probably wants toys for Christmas, I get he’s 14 but hxh doesn’t exactly have too much social media so he wouldn’t be trying to grow up too fast
🧃 he would get matching sleepwear for everybody except for some fucking reason it actually will look cute and he won’t just settle for a ugly ass tight suffocating elf sweater.
🧃 he believes Christmas is about spending time with your family and probably donated his old toys to a center so kids who didn’t have toys got some :)
🧃 he’s gonna make sure everybody has a good time, like every single person. it’s a main protagonist thing I guess but I mean I applaud him for it.
🧃 doesn’t quite ever end up under the mistletoe with anybody but if he happened to he’d giggle and kiss their cheek in a friendly way.
Leorio
🧃 he’s gonna reuse the same fucking plastic wrinkled tree he’s been using for 12 years because the tree prices are “insane” even on sale.
🧃 he would be the one a Walmart ringing the little bell and forcing kurapika to sing with him because he needs the money.
🧃 his house is the one with rainbow colored little balls and it’s so ghetto but at the same time adorable
🧃 he is literally that one neighbor who gets the most snow and it’s the snow that’s basically ice and will take around 6 good days to shovel up.
🧃 maybe wont shovel out the snow too early because he wants killua and gon to have fun.
🧃 he wants money for Christmas and nothing more, but kurapika tells him money isn’t a real gift and to ask for something else
🧃 even not being a morning person, he LIVES for morning Christmas.
🧃 probably eats snow.
🧃 he would try to cook and it might work actually
🧃 miss girl is plopped right down right next to gon watching elf on the shelf movies
🧃 he wears the Santa hat and is lowkey twinning with kurapika-
Kurapika
🧃 this bitch is gonna make you wait all fucking day to open gifts 😀
🧃 he thinks afternoon/nigh Christmas is the best. On Christmas eve he would literally sit down and watch movies with killua and gon for exactly 2 hours while leorio waits outside because kurapika wants him to sound like there’s somebody on the roof and kurapika can put the two children to bed and get a break for the rest of the night to finish gift wrapping and food making
🧃 hella good at wrapping gifts- commercial wrapping mf.
🧃 he thinks a white color coded Christmas looks best
🧃 he’d give killua and gon like 150$ to buy Christmas stuff for their rooms and that’s lowkey just him trying his best he doesn’t know what the fuck else to do he isn’t a mom-
🧃 he might teach the other 3 traditional kurta songs his clan and him sung on Christmas.
🧃 he’s twinning with leorio cause he got the reindeer ears I mean get it ig-
🧃 leorio is BEGGING kurapika to let him get a couple of drinks and kurapika’s like “YOURE GONNA STAY SOBER AND YOURE GONNA LIKE IT BITCH.”
🧃 he may or may not boys whatever they asked for and accidently on purpose use leorio’s credit card-
🧃 he just wants everybody to be happy, but can we blame him? it’s Christmas why wouldn’t he?
🧃 okay all wholesomeness aside he’s making leorio shovel the driveway.
Chrollo
🧃 he thinks this is like a romance thing
🧃 he’ll probably steal a gift or 2 for you ya know
🧃 I feel he’s the mf to have a black Christmas tree or a white one theres no in between
🧃 cookies are a yes
🧃 just go watch a classic romance movie one with him, it’ll give ya clear skin ma
🧃 he won’t decorate outside but inside will look magical asf
🧃 I think personally he’d wear a santa hat
🧃 probably would make a big phat juicy meal just for the two of you and he’d get gifts for the troupe if they cared about celebration
🧃 I feel the troupe isn’t big on that holiday stuff but if you felt like celebrating with him he’d be over the moon
🧃 he got that big tree though for no reason, he also takes the tree down the day after Christmas
🧃 Probably would give you a gift everyday leading up to christmas
Feitan
🧃 He probably was forced to sing carols and ring the bell on christmas as a kid-
🧃 he doesn’t really care much and won’t care to decorate but may or may not get you gifts
🧃 if you get him something he’ll have a small smile behind his mask
🧃 he doesn’t wanna be in the cold just make some hot chocolate and watch a movie with him jeez
🧃 probably will wear reindeer horns if you insist
🧃 his favorite holiday is halloween but christmas is nice I guess
🧃 he probably would spend his entire day if he didn’t have a s/o with shalnark seeing who could figure out the christmas word find fastest
🧃 he’s gonna just see if theres anything he could steal for anybody
🧃 doesn’t bother with snow at all if there is snow he just doesn’t care to go outside when we got a perfectly nice house
🧃 firm believer in christmas isn’t about family it’s about gifts
🧃 he’s gonna get you something expensive though
Alluka
🧃 alluka the sweet princess is literally the neighbor that has the biggest brightest lights
🧃 she probably had her big brother killua come help her
🧃 her christmas tree is pink and white, and she decorated every square foot of her house
🧃 Christmas is her favorite holiday :)
🧃 she get’s everybody gifts and for christmas she wants some toys maybe to go shopping or something
🧃 snow angels are a must 100%
🧃 firm santa believer doesn’t take criticism.
🧃 she’s gonna be so happy just to spend time with people honestly even if nanika comes out she’s just gonna be happy
🧃 her gingerbread houses look absolutely amazing like please become a house builder sis-
🧃 she’s wearing matching sleepwear with killua and gon, probably doing a elf santa and reindeer theme which is adorable
🧃 this is the best day of her life and I’m living for it.
machi
🧃 This bitch is not a fan of anything
🧃 she want’s to paint those little christmas ball things and yeah
🧃 probably says she doesn’t want anything but some jewels or bracelets would be nice
🧃 also isn’t a fan of snow but her house doesn’t get much to be honest
🧃 for the troupe she gives them like some bakery idem she made because why not that’s her family after all
🧃 probably wears fluffy socks on christmas and they’re like really adorable she just doesn’t realize it
🧃 she probably got something extra for shizuku idk I head canon them to be friends :)
🧃 she wont steal anything probably will buy or make it
🧃 omg machi stitching little christmas sweaters and socks omg that’s the highlight of my mother fucking day
🧃 her house if she decorates, is red and white.
Pakunoda
🧃 omg this beautiful woman I love so much
🧃 her house is white and blue and it’s all pretty
🧃 she has lights and stuff but doesn’t like overdo it or anything because she isn’t that jolly but might decorate a tree or two
🧃 she donates to animal shelters on christmas and literally it’s so cute
🧃 will probably get the troupe something specific that fits them or that they like because she isn’t trying to get somebody useless shit
🧃 for her s/o she’ll go out in the snow with them if they’d want
🧃 she buys the best gifts like that one aunt you don’t wanna give kisses but they always come through except we do wanna kiss her asf
🧃 she’ll wear machis socks that machi made her :,)
🧃 probably is the best person to have on christmas because just look at her
Apparently I'm the only person who thought that Aunt Mito was actually Gon's Aunt. Like his dad's sister. It made sense to me with her saying he was always leaving her behind and stuff like a big brother would to their younger sibling 😂 then I see all this Aunt Mito x Ging stuff going around and now I just don't know who she is
gfhjknjgfdkngjkdf your last sentence HAHAHA idk why it made me laugh djbgjf but yes, gon’s family is fucking CONFUSING. and i can’t help but whip out my drawing tablet for dumb shit, so, here it is, the freecss family tree (very clean and absolutely 100% accurate-especially concerning ging’s wife)
so mito is gon’s first cousin once removed (confusing ik HAHAH)
so yes, ging and mito are cousins, because their dads were brothers (so mito’s dad is ging’s uncle) - so um. yeah. people shipping ging and mito are shipping incest. HAHAHAH
Ging Freecss x reader
I don’t own anything
Warning: Reference some description of sex
“I want what I can’t have,” he said looking off into the distance while his son was looking at him feeling her stare at him oddly.
He wasn’t lying to his son. He was honest as he could be though he could tell his son didn’t listen to the part of information of his mom in the voicemail he left him a while ago so he didn’t tell his son about her.
Gon was...surprising. He could read people. Always could but Gon...well no doubt about it he surprised him. When he first met him he thought Gon would either be mad or happy. He cried. He cried about Kite. As he thought of that while talking to his son he smiled seeing her though his son was a replica of him.
20-year-old Ging sat looking at the new island he found. It was off the map but not by much. He could see people fishing. So they had adapted like everyone else.
As he landed he sat looking at the new trees he saw humans gathered. They must think of him as a threat. He put his hands up to show he came in peace. They must not get new people much though it was surprising.
“Hey I’m not here to bring any harm.” They looked around other people in confusion. They must not understand him. They were all different looking besides people who were obviously related. Some had dark skin and some had pale and some had tan skin and many different other kinds but everyone had highlighted hair with different highlights. All of them.
They started to talk in a different language. Well this wasn’t as fun as he thought. He sighed before the leader had started to calm everyone down. The leader seemed older. Whoever the oldest must be known as the wisest. The leader pointed at a Ging and spoke again in the unknown language which started to cause Ging to twitch rub his forehead.
“Look I don’t know what your saying,” He needed to start getting used to this if he wanted to travel more. The leader nodded.
“We...learn your...language,” He didn’t expect them to learn so fast. They must be slightly more advanced than he thought. He should figure out why soon.
“That’s great. My name is Ging.”
“G..ing,”
“Ging,” They all started to mumble his name. He slowly explained that he was just studying the island and meant no harm to them. Luckily they were kind and let him stay with him though after learning about their culture it appeared that they were more advanced from a certain fruit they all ate and depended on for years. The fruit was called Chimo. It has the nutrients to advance the brain. After a few generations eating the fruit the next babies didn’t need to eat the fruit to be as advanced as their descendants. It also explains how they all have highlighted hair though newborn babies didn’t have highlighted hair until they are a few months.
They also had formed arranged marriages for their children by the time they were born, which is why parents were very protective of their children when they were teens around people their age of a different gender. He noticed especially though even with them being so kind letting him stay in one small house they made for him they still didn’t fully trust him as they kept him away from any of the young women which he didn’t have to much of a problem since he wasn’t to much of a perv.
While he was studying an unknown plant he heard and felt someone watching him. He sighed and didn’t even turn knowing someone was there.
“ I can feel you watching me,” he heard a young woman gasp and show her head behind a tree. He turned to see her and saw a young woman around 18-years-old smiling at him in innocence and curiosity. She had (your skin color) and (e/c) and (h/c) with her ends being highlighted dark green.
“Hi, I’m (y/n),” He then remembered seeing her planting in the farms with her family who had her highlighted dark green hair ends. Ging smiled at her.
“What are you doing here?” She rubbed the back of her head with a wide smile.
“ My mama said I couldn’t be near you and I was curious. What’s it like where your from? What do you do?” No one from the island was even curious so it surprised him that she wanted to know about him, he smirked.
“Why would a good girl like you want to know about me,” She didn’t even blush at the flirty comment. She was so naive...it was cute.
“I just want to know more,” she said with a smile, he patted a spot next to him and she sat next to him. They talked for hours. He learned that the reason the parents kept any teen girls and young women away from him and any other young men that weren’t arranged to them is because if any woman was found deflowered away from any man that wasn’t their engagement then the girl would never be married to anyone and the man would be killed. They were pretty serious. When the young woman was 21-years-old they were married to the first man born before her except if they were related.
He told her about hunters, the food he had tasted, and other things. She realized she stayed longer than she thought.
She ran home which he watched as she snuck in through the window. He saw and felt her parents though in the room she snuck through and saw them talk to her and read their lips seeing they asked her where she was and looked her up and down seeing if they saw any marks or anything.
They kept her in tighter security which was just watched her more though she always seemed to find him. It honestly made her more adorable. After staying there for a few months he honestly wasn’t bored yet. Because of that girl. She was very entertaining since he always liked knowing how she got out of her parents sight everyday. (Y/n) always surprised him with how she could escape.
“I went through my window after lying to my brother and Mama and Papa by telling them I was sick,”
“I snuck past my brother while he was talking to a friend,”
“I got to sneak past my family while they were working,”
She always found a way to find him. Sometimes he would purposely hide a bit and she found him.
As they sat looking at the stars (y/n) expanded what they called them and why. Ging never really was into anyone but (y/n) just made him smile. Did he love her? Now that’s a strong word. Did he like her? Yeah he would say so.
As she talked he smiled and leaned closer to her which as usual she didn’t notice in her naiveness. She turned to look at him and then realized how close he was.
“Ging...do you ever think I can leave the island?” She asked, he smiled
“It’s all up to you. Whatever you want to do, do it,” She kisses him and responded by kissing her back which lead to things going further. Now Ging wasn’t a virgin but he always had protection with the other two who he never saw after and forgot about but he forgot about protection and things got so heated and everything felt so nice with her moaning and her tightness with her under him he never wanted it to end and neither did she with what he heard ;). He didn’t forget her later on.
“Ging, that was amazing,” she said laying her naked sweaty body on him coming down from their high. He chuckled with his arm on her naked back. They both laid there in silence only hearing them catch their breath.
Well as he says. He wants what he can’t have.
Things continued with her sneaking out during the day to see him. Sometimes they would make out, rarely they would sleep together at night but most the time they talked. That is however until one day.
“I’m pregnant,” She said while they were both sat just out of the blue surprising him.
“ Your kidding,” he could feel the sweat forming from his forehead. She shook her head and laid her hand made dress to show her stomach which had a baby bump around 2 months.
“I...just ignored it. I ignored the morning sickness, the weight gain, the wider hips, the constant need to go to the bathroom, and then the late periods,” Ging remembered the fact they didn’t have pregnancy tests. They learned from going to their doctor which they called the healer. Everyone knew who everyone was engaged too and when they were supposed to be married so if the healer found out she was pregnant then things would start to go down hill. He could leave sure but she was too much fun to leave yet.
“So have you gone to the healer yet?” He asked, she shook her head no.
“No, I don’t know if I can.” She said with her eyes full of worry. He sighed and relaxed a bit, though it was only a bit.
“I can tell if you are, come here,” he said, she nodded remembering him mentioning how his world had learned of Nen and other abilities. She walked to him and he took a breath before seeing if there was another life source...and there was.
“Yeah, your pregnant,” he said, she tensed up in fear. He could feel her start to tear up
“I don’t want you to die,” She said, he chuckled a bit
“Are you kidding? That’s what your worried about? I can take care of myself but right now I think we should worry about you, how about we leave?” She started to stop crying from sadness and was more confused.
“Leave?” Ging smiled
“Yeah, leave. I have enough information about this place. I’ve just stayed because you're fun to be around.” She smiled brightly a bit.
“Well go back to your house and get your stuff and meet me at my ship.” He said, he wondered if she would question him if he would leave her before she got there but of course she had to surprise him.
“Ok,” She turned running which oddly he wanted to tell her not to run. Why would he care...ok yeah that could hurt the baby. It felt weird to think about more concern to others. Man he was a douchebag.
When (Y/n) was at her house her parents walked into her room while she was packing.
“(Y/n) why are you packing and where have you been?” (Y/n)’s parents asked in their native tongue while (y/n) finished packing.
“I’m going with Ging. I was with him and told him I was pregnant so he’s taking me with him.” Her parents froze at their daughter’s honest plain out answer. She was too honest for her own good. To curious for her own good. Never was afraid to ask for answers.
While they tried to understand the information they were given seconds ago (y/n) walked past them. When she was out the door she heard her family start to try to follow her so she ran knowing soon the whole village would try to catch her. As she ran, she felt...excitement. The wind in her hair and the thought of not knowing if she would be caught though she then realized Ging could be in danger if she was to slow.
As she saw Ging standing near the ship she waved at him and Ging noticed immediately the crowd behind her. Ging ran and picked (y/n) up bridal style running back to ship in a few seconds. (Y/n) snuggled into Gings chest as she saw the ship leaving her island. She was free. She was going to be able to explore.
“How’s it feel being free?” Ging asked looking down at her. She smiled up at him.
“It feels great,” Ging laughed, (y/n) smiled up at him again. Ging gently put her down and she kissed his cheek as she put her hand on her baby bump.
“So...she your girlfriend?” Wdwune asked teasingly as the 4 months pregnant (y/n) playing a video game for the first time in the other room.
“No we are just having some fun,” Ging grumbled, Wdwune laughed finally having something to make fun of Ging for.
“I guess a little too much fun,” Ging rolled his eyes not bothering to continue that conversation
“Listen I didn’t come here just to get ridiculed. We aren’t anything serious. We’re just having fun and now she’s pregnant. I’ve stayed so far because she’s just interesting ok?” Wdwune looked at Ging smirking at his friend.
“Your a real douche bag you know that?” Wdwune said
As they both left Wdwune’s house (y/n) smiled after playing video games for so long.
“That was so fun! Ging can we go again sometime? Are there more video games like that? Are there any video games where you can actually go into a video game?” Ging smiled at her.
“I actually made a game like that but it’s too dangerous for you to go into,” she frowned and looked down
“But it sounds like fun,” Ging smiled at her and put his arm around her.
“AHHHHHH,” (Y/n) screamed in pain while holding Gings hand. Her 9 month baby bump was about to pop. She had never felt so much pain in her life. Ging had gritted his teeth in pain of her grip.
“Hey don’t be so harsh on my hand there,”
“YOU DON’T GET TO TALK,” she yelled at Ging, the doctor then spoke
“Ok your doing great sweetheart now we need you to push one more time.” (Y/n) pushed hearing something cry out and felt the pain vanish though felt that her body was sore.
“Congratulations it’s a baby boy,” the doctor said giving the baby to a nurse. The doctor then looked to see if (y/n) broke anything and saw too much blood.
“We need more doctors. There’s too much blood,” Ging felt something he hadn’t felt in a long time. Fear. Why? He was just having fun. Yeah she was beautiful,funny,naive, and a million other things but this wasn’t anything serious, right? A nurse gave Ging his son following the doctor.
“We need you to leave for now,” he nodded leaving to go to the room they said they could dry in. His son had his black hair but he felt when he was older he would have green highlighted ends. One nurse asked him for his son's name.
“Gon...Gon Freecss,”
After a few hours, a nurse came to Ging saying he could see her but it was probably the last time he could because she was dying. He held Gon tightly to him as he walked to the room. (Y/n) was laying on a bed. She looked pale. Deadly pale.
He didn’t know what to say. She should be looking at him smiling but she wasn’t. She should be looking at Gon and holding but she couldn’t. She should be asking questions about Gon. She should be clinging onto him as he looked at Gon.
“I...love you,” he felt himself start to cry for the first time in years. He heard the beeping stop and everything was silent.
“He’s back!” Someone said to Mito.
“Who?”
“Ging,” Meto ran outside to see her cousin holding a baby that looked identical to Ging but had green highlights starting to appear from his ends.
“Where the hell have you been? What have you been doing? Who is that? Why do you have a baby? Is it yours? What’s going on?” Mito asked practically screaming. Ging just stood there waiting for her to calm down.
“This is my son Gon. His mother and I...well things didn’t work out.” Ging turned not explaining anything except for the small information he left behind.
The rest of the recording he left Gon.
“If you want to learn about your mother keep going but if you don’t want to learn about her then just stop the tape…………..Ok so you want to know about your mom? She was Outgoing, curious,smart, and everything you could ask for...I wish I wasn’t such a dumb ass then maybe I would have appreciated more before she passed away. She’s dead Gon so you shouldn’t go looking for her. She’s was one of the rare few people I loved. My family and your mom were the only ones I’ve loved Gon.”
For a Killugon AU mashup: Can you do 55+97 please?
what an EXCELLENT pair of AU concepts, thank you you’re the best
55 (Established Relationship) + 97 (Time Travel)fun fact, I’ve had this AU popping around my brain for awhile. but I seriously doubt I’ll be able to write it completely, or with the depth that it deserves, so here it is:
gon lives on whale island, a lonely island (but not the lonely island) in the middle of an ocean, with minimal technology and only rusting old ruins left scattered around the island. most people make do with what they have, although gon’s always wanted to get off-island and explore, to see what happened to the ships that used to come through, big human-powered wooden things with billowing sails and singing crews
killua lives in a city made of glass and steel, with skyscrapers and flying cars and a new piece of technology every day. while the city used to be on the shores of the ocean, the water has long since been consumed or dried up in the name of Progress. alluka invents a time travel machine as a way of exploring new lands, but his family wants to use it to mine unmined resources. so killua takes it for a joy ride and lands on whale island, where it crashes.
whoops.
and the AI looks to be broken, too, or at least the part that lets nanika control the time or physical travel components.
double whoops.
and judging by the everything about whale island (green trees? ocean???) killua knows he’s stuck, not in the future, but the past.
gon finds killua trying to punch the wreckage in frustration, and, having never seen anything like killua or his ship before, but understanding enough about technology to know that gon can’t help him (”the electrograv capacitor overloaded, and now the wavelength generator has at least three broken contusion boards, and you have no idea what I’m talking about.” “sorry, killua”). so killua accepts the invitation to move in with gon, at least until they can figure out if it’s even possible for killua to get back home.
and killua settles in, as best he can. mito is welcoming, but puts him to work--and gon saves him from working too much, instead taking him around the island to scavenge old ruins and go fishing and learn how to swim. it’s hard not to fall in love with whale island, and even harder not to fall in love with gon. but nanika is slowly dying--the solar panels just aren’t cutting it for more than basic functions, not without enough resources. they need to get home.
eventually, with nanika’s help and gon’s ingenuity, killua manages to get the time travel machine working. turns out some of the ruins have stuff that, with enough elbow grease and square-peg-in-circle-hole sideways thinking and brute determination, there’s resources on whale island that can help.
and yes, gon gets to go to killua’s home. gets to see all of killua’s technology as it works, the city with all its brilliance and consumption and lack of ocean. (killua takes him on a date to ice cream.) and they work with alluka to make a more sustainable method of time travel that doesn’t consume so much power that, if they crash, they can’t get back.
then gon has to go home. he can’t stay with killua, not forever. he has his own goals to do. but while he’s out on the town with alluka (she is attempting to get him better clothes, and gon’s basically humoring her), killua starts digging into history, trying to find whale island, trying to find ging for gon.
he can’t find anything, but gon’s still kinda pissed. he didn’t want someone else to find ging for him, he had to find ging. so he asks to go home, not exactly pissed but definitely mad, and alluka takes him. she gets back less than a minute later, having obviously been on whale island for days if not weeks. she’s not sure if nanika and the machine can handle too many more trips. one there-and-back, maybe two if they’re lucky. she can keep nanika working with solar energy, but time travel takes up too much fusion energy.
killua keeps looking for ging anyways. gon’s not there, he can’t stop him. and he won’t know.
but killua can’t find anything.
no matter how far in the past he goes, there’s no sign of the freecss family, of ging freecss, of whale island even. and killua effectively has all the knowledge in the world at his fingertips. he has a general idea where whale island should be (close-ish to killua’s own home city, far enough back that the ocean still exists and thrives), he knows who he’s looking for, he misses his boyfriend--
and then nanika mentions that they weren’t going to the past.
because TWIST whale island was in the future all along. so there’s no way for killua to find ging. and his world is going to die and drown and rust into nothing.
(this AU is based on hopepunk and worries over global warming woooooo)
MORE AUS MORE MASHUPS WOOOOOO
Killugon 1
Warnings: Violence, language Rating: T Pairing: KilluGon [School AU]
The Zoldyck Family Company struck either fear or awe into the hearts of all who heard it. All except its heir. To Killua Zoldyck, his family business was nothing more than a burden he’d been saddled with. But he couldn’t get away. Not now. They were in the middle of a mafia war. That didn’t mean he couldn’t rebel just a little. Enter Gon Freecss: The perfect catalyst. Gon could help him break his shackles. Gon could be his friend. Gon could free - Gon didn’t deserve to be dragged into a war. Gon needed to be kept safe. Killua needed to stay away. Gon didn’t share his sympathies.
Killugon 2
Pairing: Gon Freecs/Killua Zoldyck; Kurapika and Leorio will make an appearance as a couple, briefly; Alluka Zoldyck/OC Rating: M Warnings: Post canon/canon compliant; Killua and Gon aged up to 19; some killugon angst (but a happy ending!); equal parts killigon fluff; probably some canon-typical violence; emotional abuse involving Illumi/Alluka, again canon-typical; some killugon sex It’s been five years since Gon and Killua said good-bye at the World Tree, with promises to write and meet again. But for the past two and a half of those years, Killua has dropped out of contact with Gon, without warning or explanation. A quietly heartbroken Gon has come to believe that he’ll never see his childhood friend again, and settled back into his quiet life on Whale Island: until the day when he opens the front door to find Killua on the doorstep, emotionally shattered and on the verge of physical collapse. Over the course of the next hour, Gon learns that Killua’s father is recently dead, leaving a power vacuum in the family business that his brother Illumi is all too willing to fill. Worse, his sister, Alluka, has been kidnapped from the home he’s been sharing with her in Lukso Province. He has evidence that Illumi is behind her disappearance, wanting to use her to cement his status as head of the family. Killua believes that Gon is the only person who can help him find her before this happens, and convinces him to leave his quiet life behind once again to help rescue her. This story is told in alternating sections, from Gon/Killua’s and Alluka’s points of view. It follows the former best friends across continents on their quest to save Alluka. But Gon and Killua also have both past hurt and betrayal and new feelings to come to terms with, plus the re-awakening of Gon’s lost nen. Alluka, meanwhile, is no longer a child, but a young woman growing into independence and impressive powers of her own. Illumi may have locked her in a tower, but this bad-ass Rapunzel might just be the one to save them all.
Killugon 3
Rating: M Warnings/Triggers: Emotional abuse and manipulation and mild to moderate physical abuse. All by Illumi against Killua. Mild nsfw, nothing explicit planned. Pairings: killugon with leopika on the side [Medieval, Aged Up AU. Gon and Killua are 20 and the rest of the characters are aged up respectively i.e. Kurapika is 25, Leorio is 27, etc.] King Killua and Sir Gon have known each other since childhood and are very close, some might say inappropriately so for two people of such widely different social standings. When things start to develop between them, Prince Illumi, chief advisor to the king, is determined to quash such nonsense, leaving Killua to feel he has no choice but to put his duties as king before his personal feelings. Illumi has Killua believing he’s isolated and powerless, but he’ll come to find he’s not alone.
Killugon 4 Pairing: Killugon (Killua Zoldyck/Gon Freecss)
Rated T Warnings: Swearing, some angst Killua Zoldyck doesn’t expect the world to give him very much. Being disowned and completely ridiculed by his family only seems a little much for one day. Now, though, he’s trying to find his little sister Alluka, who’s escaped the other Zoldycks to the otherworldly realm of Masadora, where time stands still. Masadora, the afterlife of this world. Masadora, the ultimate goal-the catch is that he has to break his curse in this life before passing on to the next one, and no witch doctor or soothsayer can do that for him. Killua needs another person who’s willing to stick with him not just in the remainder of his own life, but in Masadora as well. Gon Freecss is perfectly content in his own way. He’s a part of the Hunter Association, which defends and protects their corner of the world. He has a predictable way of life that he can count on. He doesn’t, however, count on a strange silver-haired man showing up and asking for his help grudgingly. He definitely doesn’t count on the rollercoaster that follows, nor the newfound feelings that come with it. A retelling of the Irish fairytale of Tír na nÓg.
Killugon 5
Pairing: Killugon Rating: T Notes: Not AU. Pre-canon leading into the events of the Hunter Exam. Warnings for torture but not overly explicit. On Whale Island: Gon chases a boy through the trees. They jump from branch to branch and he catches a glimpse of white hair before he blinks and then—nothing. On Kukuro Mountain: A boy who stepped out of Killua’s dreams. He has brown eyes, green clothing, and is very, very real. “I know you,” Killua whispers to the dark, to the emptiness, to the universe and anyone who is willing to listen, and feels the truth of his words skin deep, bone deep, heart deep.
Killugon 6
Rating: M or E Pairing: Killua Zoldyck/Gon Freecss (Aged-up - mid-twenties) Warnings: swearing, nudity, sex, violence, blood, canon-compliant transphobia (Illumi towards Alluka), likely character death (Illumi). Genre: Fantasy/Adventure/Romance with a happy ending. Killua Zoldyck has been cursed for helping his sister Alluka flee execution after his brother Illumi, the guardian mage of their village, found her guilty of forbidden magic. If Killua tries to cross the sea and join her, abandoning his people, the curse will raise a storm and he’ll drown. Disgusted by their treatment of her, Killua has left his village to live alone. That is, until he’s confronted by a shamelessly naked Gon Freecss, a handsome young warrior from a race who live beneath the ocean. Killua’s captivated by Gon’s amber-flecked eyes, beautiful trailing fins, long hair and decorations, and his playfulness, strength and bright smile. They fall in love and marry, though Gon can only spend half his life on land—as long as he never eats cooked food. For a time they build a happy life along the shore, sharing their evenings and nights. However, Killua’s family still have unfulfilled plans for their lost heir. One morning, Killua wakes to find Gon missing. He searches everywhere, but in the end finds only a cooked pipi shell that shouldn’t be inside their hut. He realises someone has tried to break the taboo and his lover is lost to him, returned to the ocean forever. Unwilling to contemplate a life without Gon, Killua continues to hunt for him on land and as far as he can reach out to sea. He doesn’t know if he can find a way for them to be together again and his only hope is in magic he doesn’t understand. He still has a promise to fulfill: to tear his brother Illumi down from his position as guardian mage and clear the way for Alluka’s return. He faces Nanika, the true guardian spirit of his people, in her sea-serpent form to plead for help. Finally he comes up with a desperate plan. He’ll travel beyond his limits at sea and face drowning to reunite with Gon and try to turn the cursed storm back on Illumi. If Killua can deliver his evil brother to Nanika, maybe he can create a balance so he and Gon can stay together. But even her magic isn’t as powerful as that which keeps him and Gon apart—the force of an entire ocean. (Note: Inspired by the Maori legend of Pania, a sea-maiden who lived half her life with her lover ashore until he secretly tried to feed her cooked food. She fled to the ocean and he never saw her again.)
Killugon 7
Pairing: Gon/ Killua, side Leorio/Kurapika Rating: T Warnings: Language, implied past child abuse Tags: Aged up characters, Magic College AU Padokea’s college for Wizardry is Killua’s first and only taste of the outside world without strict and constant supervision. No parents, no butlers, no giant locked house; just him and his freakishly large familiar Mike. In school, he would make his own name for himself. Not Killua Zoldyck, just Killua. He’d learn magic with methods that didn’t require torture, and maybe make friends along the way. They wouldn’t need to know where he came from, or what his family business consisted of. After all, the Zoldyck trade revolved around stealth and subtlety. It wouldn’t be hard for him right? … Right?
Killugon 8
In x My x Dreams Pairing: Killugon, mild Leopika Rating: T (for violence, language, and Hisoka being a pervy creep- nothing nsfw) Soulmate AU Koibito no yume, Lover’s Dream- The phrase coined for the phenomenon where you are plagued with dreams from birth of a faceless individual who is your soulmate. You can dream of their lives, their family, their personality, but you will never see their face or know their name until the day that you see them in real life. For some who meet during childhood, the dreams are like second nature. They don’t even know that there’s anything significant about them because they were so young when their soulmate was faceless. For others, they’re haunted by those dreams for years.
For Killua Zoldyck and Gon Freecss, this was the case, the dreams lasted for eighteen years. Killua dreamed of a boy living with his aunt after his father left him, homeschooled and sheltered from the world. Gon dreamed of a boy raised in an abusive household who was forced to do things and forced to grow up too quickly. One has all the love in the world from only one person, the other lacks any genuine love while constantly surrounded by others. Neither has a clear goal in life. Neither having a friend. Both searching for love and acceptance. Both enrolling in the first semester of their freshman year at The University of Yorknew- as roommates. Then the dreams change.
Killugon 9
Pairing: Killua/Gon
Rated T Warnings: Angst, canon-typical violence Killua turns 18 and refuses to take up his role as head of the family. Silva wants him brought home for a reminder of his true nature, and orders Illumi to hunt him down. But Illumi believes Killua has been manipulated by outsiders, and is secretly in need of rescue. He scrambles Gon’s memory, freeing Killua to embrace his destiny. Gon awakens, confused and disorientated, to a wall between himself and his memories. Mito finds Gon and word finds Killua. When he visits, Gon doesn’t recognize him. They travel to Alluka with hope Nanika can help. Gon relearns the boy who seems to know everything about him, and Killua tries to keep from falling apart.
Killugon 10
Pairing: Killua/Gon Rating: T Notes: Canon world minus nen, aged up, post marriage, fluff (so much fluff), hurt and comfort, domesticity on whale island
Time passes and adventures end but that doesn’t mean a new one can’t take its place. Years go by but everyday is special when you spend it with someone you love. Killua and gon have been married for 19 years now but that doesn’t mean they don’t still play, laugh and yell in the forests and ore the hills of whale island. Though it appears that even quaint life can’t seem to hold them down.
Killugon 11
Pairing: Killugon with some other pairings mentioned but not explored in detail
Rating: M
Warnings: aged-up characters; frequent swearing; frequent and explicit sexual references; mild internalised homophobia; casual homophobia and transphobia including slurs; toxic/dysfunctional family with reference to some abusive behaviours; mild violence
Other notes: modern AU; I’m taking certain liberties with Gon’s family set up for plot purposes, and with Ging’s character; the whole fic is from Killua’s point of view; Hisoka does stuff
As far as Killua is concerned, being the child of someone who is running for office definitely has major downsides, including but not limited to having to interact with his father’s sleazy campaign manager or being showcased at various public functions. Though it also means seeing his family finally accept his sister for who she is, if for all the wrong reasons. And publicity events are not always a total waste of time. One of them did result in meeting a sweet dreamboat of a teen wrestling champion, after all. Whom Killua can hang with and guiltily fantasise about… and hopelessly fall for. Wait.. how is that not a downside?
Killugon 12
Pairing: Gon & Killua (Flower shop au)
A few years after the main storyline, while Kurapika and Leorio are off to the Dark Continent, Killua and Gon have lost contact over the years due to their travels. Gon eventually decides to move away from Whale Island as a break from his studies, to open a flower shop right in Yorkshin City. Unbeknownst to Gon, Killua has found a woman he feels dearly for during his travels with Alluka, to one day be finding himself within Yorkshin City in search of an elegant bouquet as a symbol of his affection to his beloved. As they reunite, Gon invites Killua out to the local firework festival being held in the city’s center that weekend. Killua, confronted with the sudden meeting of his long lost childhood friend, incessant affectionate feelings arise within Killua causing doubt within Killua’s one-side relationship with his significant other. Tossing aside his inner conflictions, he decides to spend his evening with Gon only for his best friend to give flourishing hydrangea with an unexpected confession.
Killugon 13
Pairings: Gon Freecss/Killua Zoldyck Warnings: swearing, violence Rated T Gon Freecss, Summer-born Bounty Hunter, has always been known across the Summer Tropic for his prodigy and odd behavior. The bizarre Hunter becomes the center of Tropic gossip once more when he brings his too pale, blue-eyed, and silver-haired Winter-born fiancé, Killua Zoldyck, to the Summer Solstice Celebration. It would be scandalous to invite a Winter-born to the Summer Solstice on any given year. But to completely ignore the increasingly tense political frictions between the Summer and Winter Tropics after the disappearance of Winter Tropic Prince is a new level of blind ignorance that only Ging Freecss’ son seems capable of bearing. Little do they know, faking an engagement to sneak a runway Prince into the Summer Tropic Palace and steal the kingdom’s legendary Looking Glass is exactly the kind of thing Gon would do. The arrangement would prove lucrative to Killua and Gon both if successful. And luckily for Gon, it shouldn’t be too difficult for him to pretend being engaged to someone he’s half in love with already. After all, what’s the worst that could happen?
Killugon 14
Pairing: Killua/Gon
Rating: T
Additional notes: as canon as I can make it, reunion au, about 4 years, aged up kiddos, light fluffy reunion fluff. Gon has a sporting scar down his eye. Fluff
Killua and Gon haven’t seen each other since the world tree. While they tried to keep up with each other in the first few months of separation, their communications teetered off until it was nonexistent.
Killua enjoyed being with Alluka and Nanika, it was amazing seeing the world with them. But every day without Gon weighed heavy on his heart. And maybe Killua was just ignoring how he really felt about it all.
Gon had been travelling the world with his fellow hunters, trying to relearn nen and getting into his usual trouble. But Gon knew it was at best a distraction; to run from his fears and worries- and most of all to distract himself from Killua.
Killua finally plucked the courage (through Alluka forcing him) to meet up with Gon again after almost 4 years. He’s nervous though; will Gon be upset they haven’t spoken in forever? Will Gon have new friends and be far gone from being Killua’s friend? He honestly didn’t know what to expect. He wasn’t expecting a scar on Gon’s eye, among other things.
Killugon 15
Pairing: Killua/Gon Rating: M Warnings: canon-typical violence and light gore, major character death, references to canonical child abuse and canonical csa (read: hisoka). Dark continent arc spoilers. Medieval fantasy AU. Aged up killugon. It’s a legend, told and retold through countless songs, countless stories: of how the humans and the faeries waged a war, great and terrible as all wars are; of how the noblest of knights slew both the Faerie King and himself with a rose of flame. And of how, on that night, a young hero lost himself to darkness. Swearing a terrible oath, he grew from a boy into a man in one night- and thence into a savage, tempestuous giant who stalks long-hidden forests, crushing all who dare oppose him. It’s only a legend- but when the rebellious young nobleman Killua Zoldyck is sentenced to kill that giant, he soon discovers that old legend is more real- and more human- than he could ever have dreamed.
Killugon 16 Pairing: Background KilluGon. Warnings: Canon typical violence, mentions blood, possible graphic depictions
Rated T Gon practices black magic in a city beyond time. Alluka is one of the best tennis players in the world.
Killua is… between jobs.
Gon kicks in their door and says hello by eating fistfuls of salt from their kitchen.
Things get weirder from there. Highlights include: The death of an Elder God, Alluka playing tennis with a demon, Killua going missing Alluka suffering because of her gay brother.
Killugon 17
Title: The Life of Death Pairings: Killugon Rating: T for Teen Tags: Major Character Death, Killugon, Fluff, Angst The life as death is a lonely one for the small nonamed spirit. Every moment spent with another; a fleeting last moment. One often filled with hopelessness and sorrow, but also comfort and release; all things death is used to. All things death has come to expect from those whose pain and life he’s come to take away.
That is until death finds himself face to face with a village boy, named Gon, who appears at the edge of the forest. Surprised by the lack of fear and no trace of pain on that smile plastered face, death ventures closer and an unlikely friendship begins. With a new name and an energetic friend, Killua finds that maybe his life as death isn’t as lonely as he thought it would be. But all of that could fall apart with just a simple touch.
Killugon 18
Rating: G
Pairing: Gon/Killua
Warnings: brief depictions of violence/blood, disembodied pain
There are two types of magic, Aunt Mito tells Gon: the world magic, the things wizards and mages use to shape the world. It’s real, because it’s founded on laws and rationality. It builds bridges and creates cities, tears down walls and destroys mountains. It’s the sort of magic that makes sense.
The Freecss family doesn’t do sensible. Never has. Theirs is the second magic, magic made from dreams. Magicians pull from their imaginations and their dreams to spin stories and grow gardens, to give a moment’s peace to those who can’t sleep or inspire fire and fear in the hearts of the cruel. Dream magic can be quiet, or it can be as awe-inspiring as any rune. But dreams don’t make sense. As much as they can understand about the rules of dreams, there are so many more that defy even the most sensible worlds.
Maybe dreams are the key to understanding Ging. Something he left behind for his son before he vanished, something he understood better than anyone else, so much that he finally got lost in them. Gon’s not sure.
What he is sure of is the impossible boy that drops in his dreams, haunting his waking hours with magic that isn’t only of the world and isn’t only of dreams, a dreamwalker named Killua that claims he doesn’t dream at all.
And how can there be magic without dreams?
Leopika
Leopika 1
Rating: Mature/ Explicit
Warnings/Triggers: Violence, Explicit Sex/NSFW Content, Self-Destructive Tendencies
Pairings: Leopika, probably some mentioned killugon at some point in there
(Modern AU)
When push comes to shove and rumors come to an irritating boiling point, Kurapika makes an impulsive decision to hire Leorio, a broke college student moonlighting as an escort, to help him take care of them. That part of his plan works just fine. It’s just that Leorio never took into account actually liking the guy.
“So wait, you’re hiring me to-“
“You know exactly what I’m hiring you for,” Kurapika says, short and to the point. Leorio politely refrains from opening his mouth, even though it’s probably the second time he’s been polite in his whole life. “You are sexually experienced. I am not. I am tired of my competence being questioned for something I have little interest in, so I’m handling it.”
Handling it by hiring an escort? Leorio opens his mouth, closes it, unsure of how or even why he’s trying to argue with this guy. As long as Leorio gets paid, what does he care?
And then, clearly unimpressed with Leorio’s silence, Kurapika raises an eyebrow. Fuck, Leorio is done for. He’s a goner. The condescension alone could cut glass. “Your… agency told me you were professional. Are you going to be able to live up to that? Or should I leave now and save myself the inevitable disappointment?”
Well, Leorio does have to pay for college somehow.
Leopika 2
Pairing: leopika
Rating: M
Warnings: mentioning of sexual harassment and physical abuse (choking in particular), implied emotional abuse, potential adult themes
Becoming the stylist of one of America’s currently most discussed solo artists isn’t quite how Leorio hoped to start his own career in the music industry, but it will have to do. He has a foot in the door now, and he knows this job can earn him some sorely needed connections. And the work’s not so bad either, even if it sometimes leaves his head spinning and his body struggling to catch a breath. It has quiet moments like these, when it’s just them and their little inside jokes and Kurapika’s dark eyes settle on him with a twinkle of amusement.
In which Leorio is an aspiring singer and songwriter and Kurapika is a musical prodigy with the temper of a rockstar. Together they face the dark aspects of the business and an utter lack of privacy while they pine for each other fiercely, either man unaware of the feelings of the other. Yet, when their first tour comes up, their patience and restraint is put to a new test. A small shared living space. Drunk impromptu karaoke sessions. A childish lovesong, written years ago, that Kurapika rather wants to forget about and that might easily give him away.
One of them is bound to slip up.
Leopika 3
Pairings: Leorio/Kurapika
Rating: T
“I wish we had more time,” Leorio said, voice uncharacteristically fragile. “God, I wish we had more time.”
Kurapika couldn’t bear the pain in the other’s words; couldn’t bear the terrible truth. He felt his eyes close, and he took a shaky breath. Me too, me too.
OR
Kurapika’s mission to retrieve the Scarlet Eyes from the Fourth Prince is a success, but at a steep price. Instead of feeling accomplishment at his deeds, however, he only holds regret. So he is given another chance, a segment of borrowed time to right the wrongs and to actually live. Still, borrowed time is time that must run out, and Kurapika battles with the knowledge that everything that he does, everyone that he loves, are bound to be lost.
Leopika 4
Pairing(s): Leopika Warnings: swearing (kind of a lot), relationship angst. Rating: T Leorio is thinking too much. About Gon and Killua, their brushes with death. About how much they’ve overcome in their young lives. About how inadequate he feels next to his friends, who have both suffered and accomplished so much. Leorio is left alone with these thoughts eating away at him after the Chairman Election and Killua and Gon’s departure - that is until Kurapika calls, saying he wants to meet up with him. In his emotionally fragile state, Leorio agrees, in spite of the knowledge that his reunion with Kurapika will dredge up even more difficult feelings - ones that he’s been trying to ignore since they were last together in Yorkshin. When Kurapika finally arrives, he sees a more vulnerable side of Leorio than he ever has before, and he finds himself in the unusual position of comforting the friend who up until now has always played the support role.
Phantom troupe misc
Troupe misc 1
Pairing: phinkuro (Phinks/Chrollo) Rating: M Warnings: Violence, trauma, physical abuse, forced captivity, descriptions of injuries and body trauma. Minor character death. Bruised and broken and shackled liked a dog in a cage, Phinks lived his life as if every day might be his last. He had no reason to hope for better; he had nothing beyond the steel of the ring, the glare of the lights, the jeers of the hungry crowds eager for blood– And even then, he only had that until he lost. Angels didn’t fly in this place… But one still came regardless.
Troupe misc 2
Warnings: Mentions of Violence, Language
Rating: T
Pairing: Shizuku/Franklin, Mentions of Uvogin/Shalnark and Pakunoda/Machi
In this world, romance is no mystery. Whatever is written on one individual will always appear on their soulmate’s skin, leaving no confusion as to who is destined to be together. It is a novel concept, a blessing meant to ensure that love is found and celebrated. To know you have a soulmate is to live knowing that some part of you is made for another.
Franklin, however, is not convinced that he has anything in common with whoever keeps scribbling constant, ridiculous reminders all over themself.
Troupe misc 3
Pairing: Kurokura
Warnings: swearing, violence, injuries, T rating There are a few perks to holding a grudge. Some enjoy the anger that boils under their skin, while others appreciate the fine art of vendettas. The best perk, however, are the clocks that seemingly appear out of thin air, as if they were tangible proof of one’s hatred. The clocks, simple in body and purpose, ranging from digital timers to hourglasses, have only one sole purpose: to show how long someone has to exact their revenge. Getting revenge within the time limit is top priority. Any action done within the time limit is overlooked by society and the law. Gossip has it that people call this the Grudge Rule, and that anything done out of spite past the time limit set is illegal. In this world, Kurapika was able to encounter and quickly befriend Chrollo. Though unbeknownst to the both of them, because of their meeting, the unfortunate of event of someone’s death was put into action, forcing them to deal with their pasts’ and relationships’, all while trying to find the person responsible for their suffering.
She was the owner of a small bar in the middle of a city that no one really knew. He was a handsome traveller, and a collector of games, searching the world with nothing but a bag full of mysteries to his name. On a dreary, stormy afternoon, as the traveller enters her bar to escape the rain, he finds himself challenging her to a game. “My name is Meruem,” the traveller introduces, his smile one that could capture any heart in an instant. “My name is Komugi, and I hope you don’t think I’m going to let you stay here for free just because you might have a nice face. You’re still gonna have to pay for that drink if ya don’t want me to kick you out of this bar and back into that storm, because trust me, I will.” It’ll take some time, but star crossed lovers always manage to find their way back together again. Even if that means being in another city…both in slightly different, but very human forms…not able to remember who they were a lifetime ago.
As the reputed “conscience of the Zodiacs”, the black-and-white print of Mizaistom’s daily ensemble reflects not only his bovine aesthetic, but also his judicial manner of thinking in painstakingly defined terms of right and wrong before taking action. Although he bears no special ill will towards prospective new Boar Leorio, when Cheadle assigns Mizaistom the mission to locate the nigh impossible to reach Kurapika and invite him to join the Zodiacs at Leorio’s personal request, Mizaistom finds himself tempted to conduct his own investigation into who Rookie Hunter Leorio really is in order to uncover the true nature of Leorio’s connection to a flesh collector’s lackey turned mafia boss.
In a serendipitous encounter that promises to accomplish both Cheadle’s mission as well as his own, Mizaistom meets Leorio’s friend Zepile, an auction-savvy antiques trader with aspirations of becoming a Hunter himself one day. Mizaistom employs Zepile to serve as his undercover agent within the flesh collectors’ market, where he hopes to attract the attention of Kurapika’s henchmen and secure a meeting with their elusive boss face-to-face. However, the case demands a high level of continuous cooperation between the moralistic Ox and ex-counterfeiter Zepile, and over time, Zepile’s criminal past and what Mizaistom considers an insufficient effort to redeem himself test Mizaistom’s strict sense of justice and his belief that no criminal has truly repented a crime if they haven’t allowed themselves to be tried and held accountable by the law.
Summary:
“Why do you even care?!”
Gon shrugged. “I’m just curious.”
And intrigued, he added silently. Killua was a mystery, one Gon was very interested in solving by the end of this short, one-hour flight.
Killua made a low tch-ing sound before turning away from Gon completely to look out the window again. The city had disappeared during the course of their conversation, giving way to rolling hills and ribbons of train tracks that snaked over grassy planes hundreds of feet below their blimp.
“I was just wondering how long it would take to fall to the ground from here,” Killua said and Gon’s eyebrows jumped up.
That…was not what he’d been expecting. At all.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KILLUA!!!!! You’re lucky I love you so much that I’d write an entire full length fic just to celebrate your birth <3 <3 <3
Shoutout to the amazing softkillua for being the best beta ever, enjoy your weekend off Kaz! :D
This is…….a steampunk au? Kinda? I’m not really sure what it is, to be honest. I’ll let you make your own conclusions about this universe ^^ Please enjoy~
This was Gon’s first time on a passenger blimp, but he was pretty sure first-class members of society weren’t supposed to be on the third-class level.
“Excuse me,” he said, slowly approaching the finely dressed teen staring out the window. “But, uh. Are you lost?”
The teen snorted. He didn’t spare a glance at Gon when he answered, “No. Are you?”
Gon frowned. “No.”
“Then why’d you ask?”
“Um. It’s just…”
“Just-” the teen finally looked up at Gon, icy blue eyes piercing straight through him and making Gon’s breath catch in his throat, “-what, exactly?”
Gon swallowed. His mouth was cotton dry. “It’s just, not many people from first-class members come down here. To the lower decks, I mean.”
The teen snorted again and turned back towards the window. “Well, I’m not like most first-class people. Got it?”
Gon nodded automatically, not even sure what he was nodding for but feeling the need to do it anyway. The teen didn’t speak again, instead choosing to keep his gaze trained on the glittering city below them. The blimp had only taken off half an hour ago, so they hadn’t traveled far enough yet to leave Yorknew behind.
“What are you looking at?” Gon couldn’t help but ask.
The teen shoved his hands into the pockets of his long, navy-blue jacket. “Nothing, really. I was just wondering.”
“Wondering what?”
The teen raised an eyebrow at him- silver, the same shade of fluffy locks peeking out from under his top hat- and said, “You ask a lot of questions for someone of lower-class. You know that?”
“Yes,” Gon answered and a small huff of laughter escaped the other’s pink lips.
“And you don’t find that, I dunno, improper?”
Gon tilted his head to the side. “Do you?” he asked curiously.
Blue eyes blinked. “Uh. No?”
“Okay. So if you don’t find it improper, and I don’t find it improper, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Right?”
“I-I guess. Yeah.”
“So, what are you wondering?”
The teen shook his head, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “You’re weird, Mister-”
“Gon,” Gon chirped and stuck his hand out in front of the other’s face. “Gon Freecss. And you?”
The teen gingerly wrapped his fingers around Gon’s. His fingers were long and pale, like a pianists’, and his skin felt cool and smooth against Gon’s calloused palm.
“Killua,” the silver and blue teen said cautiously. “Killua Zoldyck, if you want the full name.”
Gon straightened, the back of his neck prickling. Zoldyck, that was- “Are you a member of the Zoldyck family?! As in, the famous inventors?”
“Yes.” Killua said shortly and withdrew his hand from Gon’s. “Inventions are the only thing my family’s good at. It’s our thing.” Gon didn’t miss the way his expression smoothed out, subtly shifting into something dull and blank.
Huh. Interesting.
Gon leaned forward into Killua’s personal space, until they were practically nose-to-nose. He held back a bark of laughter at the way Killua’s eyes crossed to keep him in view, how pale cheeks darkened and freckles popped out across a narrow nose and high cheekbones.
“And are all Zoldycks this pretty,” Gon asked playfully. “Or is that just a you thing?”
Killua’s jaw dropped. “What.”
Gon grinned. “I said, are all-”
He grunted at the hand shoved into his face and stumbled backwards.
“Shut up! I heard you the first time, you don’t need to repeat it!” Killua hissed, face scarlet.
“But you didn’t answer my question,” Gon said in a sing-song voice.
“And I wasn’t planning on answering, doofus.”
“Aw, why not?”
“B-Because!” Killua sputtered. Gon inwardly thought it was kind of cute how flustered Killua was at his light teasing- his brilliant blue eyes darting everywhere but Gon while his blush spread to the tips of his ears. “No one asks questions like that and expects an answer!”
“Well-” Gon took a bold step forward and Killua tensed, “-I’m not most people, Ki-llu- a.”
Killua looked furious at having his words turned against him. He spat out, “You’re a weirdo.”
Gon hummed in acknowledgement. It wasn’t the first time he’d been called that. “Maybe. But I’m not the first-class citizen in the lower class levels, am I?”
Killua’s eyes narrowed. “What’re you getting at, Gon?”
There was a sharp thrill in his stomach at the sound of his name rolling off that sharp tongue. He liked the way Killua said his name, how is lips formed to make the single syllable. It made him wonder if Killua felt the same.
“I just want to know what you were wondering earlier,” Gon said honestly. “That’s it, really.”
“Why do you even care?!”
Gon shrugged. “I’m just curious.”
And intrigued, he added silently. Killua was a mystery, one Gon was very interested in solving by the end of this short, one-hour flight.
Killua made a low tch -ing sound before turning away from Gon completely to look out the window again. The city had disappeared during the course of their conversation, giving way to rolling hills and ribbons of train tracks that snaked over grassy planes.
“I was just wondering how long it would take to fall to the ground from here,” Killua said and Gon’s eyebrows jumped up.
That…was not what he’d been expecting. At all.
He leaned closer to the glass and squinted at the tiny trees below them. They looked like blades of grass from this distance. He pursed his lips, considering. “Um. A long time? Maybe? I’m not sure, I’ve never jumped off an air balloon before.”
Bell-like laughter exploded from Killua. He clutched at his sides, leaning over his knees as he laughed and laughed and laughed. Gon simply blinked and watched him, equally surprised and confused.
“What’re you laughing for?”
“I just!” Killua wheezed, barely able to speak from lack of breath. “I never- oh, man- I never expected you to take me seriously!”
Gon frowned. “But you are being serious. Right?”
All traces of laughter vanished from Killua’s face. For a few moments the pair just stared at each other, crystal-blue clashing with caramel-gold.
Killua was the one to turn away first. A light pink dusted his cheeks once more as he admitted, “Yeah, I was serious. You had no reason to believe me, though.”
Gon leaned on the railing with a shrug. “You had no reason to lie.”
Killua’s brow puckered. He seemed at a loss for what to say, so Gon pressed, “Why do you need to know how far it is to the ground? Are you planning on jumping off the balcony?”
Gon had asked that half-joking, half not. He’d always wondered what it would be like to leap off something so high in the air, how it would feel to have the wind tearing at his hair as he soared towards the earth. It would be an incredible sight, that was for sure.
But he and Aunt Mito were poor enough as it was living in the city and selling antique artifacts to stray inventors; Gon didn’t have the funds to invest on many experiments. And besides, he didn’t have the time to make some sort of flying machine anyway. Not when he was focusing on finding-
“I am, actually.”
That caught Gon’s attention.
“What?!” he yelped and was met with a second hand shoved against his mouth.
“Shut,” Killua growled, blue gaze flashing dangerously. “Up . Jeez, do you ever stop to realize just how loud you are?!”
“No,” Gon answered and his voice was muffled against Killua’s palm.
Killua dropped his hand, exasperation written all over his face as he said, “Then start to! I don’t need the entire blimp hearing us!”
“Why not?” A thought occurred to him and Gon suddenly gasped as understanding flooded through him. “Oh! Is it a secret, Killua? Does no one know about-”
“No one knows!” Killua rushed to say. “So- please, for the love of god, be quiet. Please.”
Gon nodded vigorously. “I’ll be quiet! Tell me your plan first, though!”
“…you promise not to tell anyone?”
Gon held up his pinky. Killua looked at it expectantly and said, “Uh. What’s that supposed to-”
“It’s a pinky promise!” Gon explained. He grabbed Killua’s finger, ignoring the Zoldyck’s squawk of protest, and wrapped Killua’s pinky securely around his.
“I pinky promise to be quiet about your plan as long as you promise to tell me about it first!” Gon sang and Killua made a horrified squeaking sound. “Oh, and if you’re jumping off the blimp, you have to take me with you.”
Killua’s eyes bulged. “What?! No way, I’m not taking you anywhere!”
Gon pouted. “Why not?”
“Like I said earlier-” Killua snapped and yanked his hand away from Gon’s, “-you’re crazy.”
“But you’re the one planning to jump out of a moving blimp! You don’t even have anything prepared to slow the fall, do you?”
Killua scoffed, “Of course I do! I have stuff on me right now in fact!”
Gon slowly let his gaze roam up and down Killua’s figure, making sure to take in the lithe muscles under the fancy coat and tall boots. Killua was well built, especially for someone in first-class. He slowly looked up at Killua’s face and smirked slightly at the flushed expression he saw there.
“I’m sure you’re well stocked, Killua,” Gon said and Killua sucked in a sharp breath. “But I’m not seeing any life-saving invention on you at the moment. You’d need a parachute, for one thing.”
Dragging his nails down the side of his red face, Killua said through gritted teeth, “You’re an idiot.”
Gon blinked. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Exactly that! I’m a Zoldyck, Gon, I’ve got something much better than some average parachute.”
Gon’s brow furrowed. He wasn’t following Killua anymore. “What do you-”
“C’mon.” Killua snatched Gon’s wrist and tugged him down the hallway. Gon’s skin tingled where Killua’s fingers touched his skin and a giddy bubbliness spread through his body.
He took a chance and dared to twist his hand in Killua’s grasp, shifting slightly until their fingers interlocked.
Killua didn’t stop or show any reaction to their new position. But Gon spotted the red flush on the back of Killua’s elegant neck, and he had to force himself not to giggle out loud lest Killua heard and snapped at him again.
Killua really was cute. He was also very, very interesting. Gon had never seen or met a high classer with so much spunk and attitude.
Even more amazing was how easy it was for Gon to read Killua. Gon hadn’t even known him for an hour yet but he already knew how embarrassed Killua got at even the slightest bit of flirting. Killua had no problem calling Gon out on his abnormalities, but didn’t shun him away for them, either. He was a strange paradox between wits and sensitivity- and it made Gon all the more curious to see what other personalities were hidden within the mysterious teen.
And just how Killua expected to jump off a moving blimp without falling to an early death.
BOOM!
They had only made it halfway down the hallway when the floor underneath them shook, a resounding boom vibrating through the walls and air. Killua let go of Gon’s hand as they stumbled into the windows and the entire blimp jolted and shuddered. Within seconds it slowed to a stop hundreds upon hundreds of feet above ground.
“Wh-what was that?“ Gon asked, bewildered. Despite his lack of experience, he didn’t think blimps normally were supposed to make sounds like that and stop in the middle of their journeys.
“Dunno,” Killua looked up at the ceiling with a frown. “Whatever it was, it didn’t sound good.“
Gon bit his bottom lip. If Killua was saying that, it must be true. Despite the disappointed twisting in his gut, Gon forced himself to ask, “Shouldn’t you be returning to your family, then? You should make sure they’re okay.”
“No,” Killua scoffed and Gon perked up. “They’ll be fine. Let’s keep going, I promised I would show you my plan, right?”
Gon’s chest swelled. He nodded, beaming at Killua despite the odd look it got him from the other, and they set off again.
They had only taken another ten steps when a door flew open in front of them.
Two burly looking men stepped into their path, each decorated with scars and deadly swords. Shining jewels hung off their necks and wrists but their coats and boots were worn through and tattered. It was a bizarre mix, but it was the strange way the men’s beady eyes lit up upon seeing Gon and Killua that made Gon’s hair stand on end.
These guys were trouble.
“Shit,” Killua muttered and Gon instinctively moved closer, until their arms pressed together.
“Who are they?” he whispered.
Killua wrinkled his nose. “Pirates.”
Gon’s stomach lurched. “What?! Really?!” He had heard of sky pirates attacking air ships before, but it was always cargo ships filled with goods they could steal and resell for profit. What could they possibly want with a passenger ship?
Killua gave him a scathing look. “Yes, really! Who else would they be?!“
One of the pirates took a menacing step forward. The jagged scar running diagonally across his face stretched and pulled as he sneered, “Come with us Zoldyck, and no one else has to get hurt.”
Gon stiffened as Killua retorted, “In your dreams, you useless lump of lard! Get the hell out of here and go back to your stink hole of a ship!”
“What do they want you for?” Gon asked, flabbergasted.
“My brain, my inventions,” Killua said to him with a scowl. “Obviously these morons don’t have too many bright ideas, so they need mine instead.”
The second pirate snarled, “Quit fooling around, Zoldyck! Do you want something to happen to your family?”
“Oh, by all means please do. My parents could use a good ass-whooping.”
With a thunderous roar, the first pirate charged at Killua. Gon and Killua leaped away from each other and the man stumbled straight through the opening they created. Gon glanced back at Killua just in time to see him flick his wrist in a strange gesture. Gon felt his jaw drop as metal claws sharp as knives slid out from under Killua’s long sleeves to fit perfectly over his elegant fingers.
Gon stared, unable to look away. The claw’s design was beautiful and intricate; it would’ve taken years to create something like it. Killua must be even more amazing than Gon already thought-
WOOSH!
Gon heard the sound of something flying through the air and ducked. The swing of the sword had been a clumsy one; the sharp piece of metal dug into the wood paneling just below the windows and the pirate howled in frustration. He yanked on the hilt of the sword and Gon scrambled upwards and back as fast as he could, slipping on a glove of his own making.
The glove had been something Kite had helped him design and bring to life. It helped give his attacks when fighting an enemy a little extra edge; depending on the fuel in the glove and the way Gon held his weapon of choice, the glove would ignite said weapon in a fiery halo without damaging it. Gon could also make tiny explosions or send the inferno soaring through the air. It all depended on which weapon Gon had at his disposal.
He probably shouldn’t use it while on a blimp in transit, though. Still, it was a good precaution. He would do anything to keep Killua out of the pirates’ grubby hands.
Gon could hear metal clashing against metal somewhere behind him. Killua was taking care of the the second pirate- so that meant it was Gon’s job to finish off the one in front of him. If he didn’t, the pirates would take Killua away and Gon would never see him again. Something unpleasant and heavy settled inside his stomach at the thought.
He didn’t like it, the idea of never seeing or talking to Killua ever again. It felt wrong.
Gon’s pirate finally pulled out his weapon from the wood. He wasted no time in attacking Gon and Gon moved quickly to avoid the first jab. He pulled out his own sword, Jajaken, just in time to block the second strike from hacking off his arm.
Fighting was simple for Gon: attack the person attacking you until they can’t any more. Kite was the one who had helped him turn his ambition and drive into some sort of skill. By the time Kite left to finish his exploration, Gon was a master. That had been two years ago.
Compared to Kite, this pirate was practically a joke. Gon met his blows with equal force left, right, above and left again. He slammed his elbow into the pirate’s jaw and shoved him away when he stumbled. Bit by bit Gon forced the pirate backwards, until he was pushed up against the safety exit door. The pirate’s eyes widened when he realized Gon’s plan. He fought even harder, shoving against Gon’s sword with all his might as Gon fought back.
Soon they were in a stalemate.
“Why are you protecting him?” the pirate hissed. Gon didn’t let up pressure on his sword, knowing the pirate was trying to distract him, to make him weak. “You know what his family does, don’t you?! You don’t owe this brat anything!”
Gon did know. Everyone in Yorknew knew the Zoldycks- the gifted and talented inventors who used their brilliance for underground work. It was even rumored that they had been selling a few of their inventions to neighboring countries during the Chimera Ant War. They were a feared and hated family by most, if not all. Not a single person had a good word for them.
But…
Gon lifted his head. In the distance he could just barely make out Killua’s spinning form. The other teen was a whirlwind of navy blue and flashing silver, his claws slashing through the air with a speed that was startling. His hat had fallen off to reveal shimmering white curls and his lips were split into a wild grin. He danced around his opponent with ease, even laughing and teasing the other to throw him into a fit of rage.
Gon swallowed thickly as his cheeks warmed. Killua was beautiful, breathtaking. And whatever plan he’d devised before the pirates’ ambush, it surely didn’t involve him following his parents footsteps. Gon was sure of it. Killua had been planning to jump off the blimp and away from them, after all.
“Killua is different,” Gon told the pirate and the man sneered.
“He’s a tool,” the pirate spat out, flecks of saliva flying through the air, and Gon’s nostrils flared. “His inventions are sold to the highest buyer, not even his parents consider him to be anything less than a means for profit!”
“Shut up,” Gon growled lowly. He could feel the dark waves of fury coiling inside him, hot and boiling just under the surface.
“Why so you can have him all to yourself?! He’s coming with us, sunshine, and there’s nothing you can do about it!”
“Killua is not going anywhere with you. You just want to use him and that’s wrong. Killua should be free to make his own decisions.”
“Oh, I see, you want him to yourself is that it? I can understand-” the pirate’s gaze drifted over to Killua and a new,hungry light entered his eyes, the kind that made Gon’s skin crawl, “-he is rather pretty. I’m sure you would just love to see him trapped underneath you, and begging for your di-”
Gon saw red. Not a second later, the safety exit door was swinging open wide. The pirate toppled backwards with a blood-curdling scream-
CLANG!
Gon jerked at the definitive noise behind him. He didn’t have the time to twist around before Killua was at his side, breathless and silver hair tousled.
“Woah!” Killua peered over the railing, face alight. “Did you really just throw him over?!“
Gon nodded wordlessly. Killua let out an impressed whistle.
“Wow, you got more guts than I gave you credit for, Gon! I mean, I get they were fighting us and everything, but to throw one of them overboard-”
“He was saying bad stuff about you,” Gon said stiffly. He had to focus to keep his voice from trembling with race.
To Gon’s shock, Killua just rolled his eyes. “That’s nothing new, they all do that. C'mon, lets-”
“What does that mean?!”
“It means,” Killua said as he glanced up and down the hallway. “That I’m a Zoldyck and the heir and technically still a minor, so a good number of imbeciles think they can try to kidnap me and use me for their own personal fantasies- whether that be for my inventions or their own pleasure, it doesn’t matter which. You wouldn’t believe the number of times people have tried to pick me off the street.”
“Killua, that’s…” Gon didn’t even know what to say. How could Killua talk so casually about stuff like that?! “That’s really, really bad! People can’t do stuff like that and get away with it-”
“Again, it’s part of the Zoldyck name. Okay? Don’t sweat it. We did fine getting rid of those guys, right?”
“Right…”
“Right, so relax. Let’s go-”
“Killua.”
Gon caught Killua’s hand, tan fingers wrapping around elegant pianist ones and stopping Killua from walking away. Killua blinked in surprise. He looked down at their hands and then back at Gon with confusion.
“What? Why are you looking at me all weird like that? Though to be fair, your face was pretty weird already.”
Gon puffed out his cheeks, distracted despite himself. “Killua, I’m trying to be serious!”
“So spit it out already, jeez! The longer we stand here the more pirates are gonna find us.”
Gon’s blood ran cold. “There are more?”
“Of course! You’d need a ton of men to stop a blimp of this size!”
“And they’re all after you?!”
“Yes, Gon! What else would they be attacking a passenger ship for?!”
Gon tightened his grasp on Killua’s hand. “I…I don’t like it, that other people think that way about you. Killua, you get how wrong that is, right? You’re not a prize to be won or some object for other people to use as they like.”
For a moment Killua just stared at him, his brilliant blue eyes blown open wide. Gon’s heart fluttered as he noticed the slight blush growing on the Zoldyck’s cheeks.
Then Killua ducked his head, hiding his expression from Gon’s view. “Yeah yeah,” he muttered and his fingers curled around Gon’s. “I get it. No need to get all sappy on me.”
“Do you really, though?” Gon asked to make sure.
“Yes. Seriously, don’t worry. I can handle myself. It doesn’t even matter anyway; I’ve been my family’s tool for as long as I can remember. They’d never let some pirate steal me away when they can use my brains for themselves.”
A jolt of burning anger stabbed through Gon. What. Killua’s parents had-
Creak.
They both froze. Gon’s heartbeat pounded in his ears and Killua’s fingers gripped Gon’s until it was borderline painful.
Gon would never think of letting go, though.
“Pirates?” Gon whispered and Killua looked at him sharply. He jerked his head, silver bangs flopping into his eyes, and Gon followed without complaint as Killua led down the hall in a sprint. Killua’s footsteps were silent on the carpet and Gon tried his best to mimic him.
Killua came up short next to a storage door. He flicked out a finger- now transformed into a claw he’d used to fight the pirate- and knelt to pick at the lock. Within seconds Gon heard a click and then Killua was yanking Gon through the open doorway. He shut the door as soon as Gon’s boots crossed the threshold and they were suddenly plunged into darkness.
The abrupt lack of light startled Gon and he gasped quietly. He tried to move, to somehow get an understanding of his surroundings, and instantly tripped over something. He heard Killua’s hiss of pain before he felt cool hands grabbing at his shoulders and elbows, clutching his sleeves as Gon started to fall-
The pair landed on the floor in a heap of flailing limbs. Gon’s nose collided hard into something solid but soft, his legs tangled up in some kind of cloth that had been tossed carelessly onto the closest ground. His palms stung smartly from where they slammed into the floor and the taste of iron on his tongue left him grimacing.
“Ki-” he started but the ground under him rolled and boney knuckles punched him in his ribs.
“Shut up!” Killua hissed as Gon cried out. “I’m serious, Gon, shut up!”
The ground beneath Gon’s chest heaved in time with Killua’s pants. It took Gon a moment to wonder why but then realization crashed over him like a tidal wave.
The ground wasn’t the ground at all; it was a lithe teen with silky locks of hair and eyes so piercing Gon could feel them digging into his face even in the pitch blackness of the closet they were currently trapped in.
Gon had landed right on top of Killua.
Heat rushed to his face and abruptly Gon’s cheeks were burning. He lifted his head and his nose brushed Killua’s smooth skin- his jaw, Gon’s mind helpfully supplied- while his knees pressed to either side of Killua’s hips. Gon’s whole body was warm and tingling and his head swam. He felt like he had a fever.
Gon opened his mouth to apologize for crashing on top of Killua in such an inappropriate position- what if he hadhurt Killua-
A familiar hand slapped over his mouth before he could get out a single word.
“Shh!” Killua hissed. “Don’t say anything, or they’ll hear you!”
Gon blinked, then froze. He didn’t dare to move or even breathe after that because just outside of their door in the hallway- there, quiet and in the distance but growing steadily louder- was the sound of thunderous footsteps. Gon knew without being told that the people in the hallway would pass by their hiding spot in mere seconds.
Sweat started to build on Gon’s forehead. Killua’s fingers curled and his nails dug into Gon’s chin.
“Wh-what the hell happened here?!” came an unfamiliar sputter. The sound was muffled by the door shielding them, but it was still too loud and too close for Gon’s liking.
“A fight, clearly,” someone else said impassionately. The second man’s voice was cool and calm, completely unlike the first person and just as alien to Gon.
But not to Killua, apparently. The instant the second man spoke, Killua’s body stiffened under Gon’s, becoming as still and silent as a statue. Even his breathing stopped. Gon had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop himself from asking Killua what was wrong.
It was like Killua had said; he couldn’t talk right now. Not unless he was willing to risk giving Killua up to these strangers. And he wasn’t any more willing to do that now than he had with the pirates just minutes earlier.
“I- yes, yes, of course, sir!” That was the first man again. “But no one in the third class would have the level of skill to defeat a pirate-”
“Two.”
“Excuse me, sir?”
“There were two pirates. The emergency door over there is unlocked and there are markings along the wall.” A muffled sigh. Gon pictured furrowed brows, fingers grasping the bridge of a nose. “I don’t understand how you are supposed to help me find Master Killua if you are so incompetent that you cannot even tell there were two fights instead of one-”
“Mister Gotoh, sir, I will help you find your master! I promise! Let’s hurry, he can’t have gotten far after fighting one- uh, I mean two pirates. I’m sure we’ll find him soon!”
Footsteps were heard again, this time fainter, farther, and the last thing Gon heard was the second man’s thinly veiled warning, “It would be best for your career for that to be true..”
He and Killua stayed completely still and silent until the two voices faded away entirely. And only a few tense moments after that did Killua let out a shuddering sigh, his body coming to life under Gon’s now that the threat was gone.
“Thank god they didn’t find us,” Killua half whispered, half groaned. His hand dropped away from Gon’s mouth and Gon’s heart dropped, feeling weirdly disappointed at the action.
Gon licked his chapped lips. He could still feel the ghost of Killua’s touch on them when he asked haltingly, “Did- did you know them?”
Killua huffed. At their closeness, Gon could smell the Zoldyck’s faint cologne wafting off his tailored jacket, the mintiness of his breath.
“Unfortunately, yeah. The guy that called me ‘Master Killua’ is my family’s butler.”
“You have a butler?!” Gon shouldn’t have been surprised by that. Butlers are the highest form of luxury, of course Killua’s family had a-
“We have several, actually,” Killua said and Gon’s jaw dropped. “Gotoh’s just the one my old man charged with keeping an eye on me.”
“Won’t he get in trouble then? For you running away and everything?”
Gon grunted as Killua jerked- a shrug. “Nah. Gotoh’s been with us for ages. I think my grandpa hired him or something. There’s no way he’d get in any serious trouble with me vanishing for the millionth time. Even if this time did involve a batch of weak-ass pirates.”
Gon’s head spun. Wow. No wonder Killua had been able to use his genius to make inventions! The resources his family had were probably amazing…
“Uh, Gon?”
Killua moved slightly and Gon was suddenly hyper-aware the incredibly lean and muscular body pressed snugly against his.
Gon’s mouth went dry. His hand curled into a fist and he ignored the light fluttering of his heartbeat when he breathed out, “Yeah?”
Gon was near enough to Killua’s face to feel the warmth of a blush radiating off his skin. “C-Can you get off now? You’re too heavy. And big. You’re crushing me.”
Gon allowed himself a small smirk; he could work with that. “What, you can’t handle me?”
A pause as Killua processed just what Gon had said. And then-
WHACK!
“AH!” Gon slapped his hand over his head. “Ow- Killua! Why did you-”
“Don’t be so full of yourself, idiot!” Killua bristled and Gon nearly laughed despite the tingling pain on his skull. He could see it in his mind- Killua’s silver hair disheveled and thrown into disarray, ivory cheeks aflame with a venomous glare to match.
He leaned forward in the general direction of Killua’s voice, and said suggestively, “Does that mean you’re saying you can handle-”
Gon squawked as he was forcibly tossed off Killua with a shove of two hands and a swift kick to his hip. Something heavy dropped onto his chest and then two elegant fingers were pinching his cheeks with enough force for it to sting.
“You-” Killua hissed venomously, increasing the pressure and stretching Gon’s face out like it was made of elastic, “-don’t know when to quit, do you?!”
Gon just laughed at that, unable to form a proper response with the way Killua was pulling out his lips. It should’ve been annoying to have someone play with his face like this. But with Killua, it didn’t matter. Gon actually liked the feel of Killua’s hands on his skin, the reassuring weight of the other teen’s body on his waist-
Killua scoffed and abruptly disappeared.
Gon only had a moment to register the sudden loss of Killua’s body heat when the closet door was thrown open. Harsh, blinding light fell into his eyes and he twisted away with a cry.
“AH-”
“It’s only sunlight, don’t be a baby.” Killua grabbed Gon’s bicep and yanked him off the ground. He forcibly tugged Gon back down the hallway towards the balcony door, the very place they’d been trying to reach before everything had gone to hell.
“Do-” Gon asked breathlessly, “-do you think there’ll be more pirates out there?”
Killua didn’t even bother looking back at him. “Who cares? If there is, we’ll just defeat them like last time. Right?”
Gon’s chest swelled. His heart was filling and overflowing with warmth, a bursting kind of joy Gon had never experienced before. It felt like he’d just swallowed a mouthful of bubbling champagne and everything was golden and bright and good.
Killua made him happy, he realized and corners of his mouth curved upwards at the thought. He’d smiled more in the past twenty minutes with this starlight teen then he had in years. He hadn’t had this much fun in years. The horrid memory of Kite’s death had faded into the background and Killua- making him flush, seeing his eyes light up, the soft texture of his long fingers-
Killua had taken front and center in Gon’s mind.
Gon’s heart lurched, then sped up to twice its normal speed. Just like earlier, Gon carefully twisted his wrist a little in Killua’s grasp. Killua’s back straightened and there was the tiniest bit of reluctance in the way he released Gon’s arm.
But Gon didn’t let him go far. He was quick to grab Killua’s hand before he fully pulled away. He interlocked their fingers once more and held on tight.
For a few seconds, Killua didn’t react at all. He kept on walking briskly down the carpeted hallway, head straight ahead. And then Gon noticed the dark scarlet tinge to Killua’s ears, the slight squeeze of Killua’s fingers against his own.
Gon’s heart soared. His grin grew so much his face hurt but he knew he couldn’t stop smiling even if he wanted to.
He also knew this: Killua was interesting and witty and smart. He was brilliant, a graceful fighter, and one of the most amazing and incredible people Gon had ever met. Meeting Killua was a gift and Gon wasn’t about to let that gift go to waste.
How ever Killua left this blimp, be it on Zevil Island or flying through the air or crashing to earth-
Gon wanted to follow.
Killua pushed open the door leading to the balcony. Gon winced at the sudden brightness but Killua was pulling him towards the railing without giving him the chance to recover. When they reached the edge of the balcony, Killua let go of Gon and hung over the edge.
He’ssearching for the pirates, Gon realized. He should probably be helping him, but all Gon could focus on was how empty and cold his hand felt without Killua’s hand wrapped around his.
“Okay, we’re clear. Hold this,” Killua ordered, shrugging off his jacket and shoving it into Gon’s arms. Gon’s stomach lurched at the view that greeted him; a vest wrapping snugly around Killua’s slim torso, the elegant line of his long neck. Even Killua’s white curls shone with a new light, making them glow silver in the sun’s rays.
Gon’s pulse started to race. Wow. Killua was…beautiful.
He opened his mouth to tell Killua just that when Killua suddenly pulled on a strap around his belt.
Metallic wings shot out from Killua’s back with a SNAP and Gon jumped backwards, nearly tripping in his shock. Killua’s clothes tumbled out of his numb fingers as he gaped wordlessly at the incredible sight before him.
Killua was…he had…
“See?” Killua said proudly. He adjusted a few more straps and the wings raised to stand straight above his head, each individual blade’s imprinted design standing out under the sun’s beams. “You don’t need a parachute if you got these!”
He looked at Gon expectantly, then smirked when Gon only continued to stare. “What, got nothing to say?” Killua teased. His blue eyes glowed with a mix of pride and joy. “Did I really amaze you that much, Gon?”
Gon shut his mouth and swallowed thickly. “Killua, you…you’re a genius!”
“I knew that already, stupid,” Killua said, snorting. But the swell in his chest told Gon that he was secretly happy at the praise.
“But you really, really are! It’s so beautiful and wonderful and, and so awesome, Killua! You’re awesome!”
“And you like to say that a lot,” Killua retorted, grinning through the blush on his cheeks.
Gon beamed. He asked eagerly, “Have you tested it out?”
“‘Course I have! It works perfectly fine.”
“So, why don’t you bring it to the Invention Convention that’s going on at Greed Island? That’s where you’re headed, right? That’s the only stop this blimp is making.”
Killua made a non-committal sound. “That’s where my family is going. They want to show this invention of mine off and parade me around as the future heir to the Zoldyck name. Me, though…”
Killua’s voice trailed off and his words from earlier echo in Gon’s mind: I was wondering how long it would take to fall to the ground from here.
“You’re going to leave,” Gon said, the pieces of Killua’s story falling neatly into place. “You’re going to use your invention to fly to the ground and run away.”
“Exactly!” Killua said cheerfully. He sounded way too happy for someone about to soar hundreds of miles through the air. “I’ll land someplace safely below and escape my family’s clutches once and for all! They’ll never find me ever again. I’ll be free.”
Then Killua turned to look at Gon and Gon shivered under the intensity of that blue-eyed gaze.
“Are you sure you want to come with me, now?”
Gon blinked. “Wha-”
“Earlier you said you wanted to jump off the blimp with me,” Killua said impatiently.
Gon scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. “I thought you didn’t want me to, though?”
Killua rolled his eyes to the back of his head. “Obviously I reconsidered, Gon. Do you want to come, or what? I won’t offer another chance. I’m leaving right now and I’m never coming back.”
Gon stared at Killua, then at the ground below them, then back to Killua. His heart was thumping heavily in his chest and blood roared in his ears. Even his palms were sweaty and he curled them into fists to keep them from shaking.
He’d saved up for over a year to pay for this ticket to Greed Island, all in the hopes of discovering some clue to finding Ging at the Convention. He knew when he booked this flight that he would probably never get another golden opportunity to locating his father again; Invention Conventions only occurred every 10 years, after all. And only the most prestigious inventors were invited. Even if he did manage to get money to buy another ticket, he might not be given an invitation.
He had one chance. One choice. One future.
And looking at Killua’s extended hand, the faint smile gracing his lips and the tiny sliver of hope shining in those blue eyes, Gon knew his decision.
He’d known where he was going since the moment he saw Killua standing there by the blimp window in the wrong clothes at the wrong level. Gon wanted to know more about Killua right away and when Gon wanted something, he was unusually stubborn in getting his way. Even more so than usual.
And here fate was, giving him the opportunity to get exactly what he wanted. All he had to do was take that final step.
“Of course I’m coming with you,” Gon said and Killua’s answering grin was stunning, brilliant in it’s radiance. “I wouldn’t miss it for anything. Just make sure you don’t drop me, okay?”
“I won’t,” Killua swore. “As long as you don’t let go of me, you’ll be fine. Think you can handle that?”
Gon’s heart fluttered as Killua moved closer. He fought down a shudder when Killua’s slim arm wrapped tightly around Gon’s waist; he was quickly learning how much he loved the feeling of Killua’s body aligned with his. Despite the differences in their build- Killua being lean and tall while Gon was broader, bulkier- they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. It made Gon want to cling onto Killua and never let go.
But Gon didn’t feel the need to bring this to Killua’s attention at the moment. He had plenty of time to seduce Killua, after all.
"I can handle anything,” Gon said with a playful wink and snaked an arm around Killua’s neck, gripping his vest with his other hand. “Especially you, Killua.”
The almost instantaneous blush that spread across Killua’s cheeks at his blunt statement made Gon break out into a fit of giggles and Killua made a face at him.
“Shut up or I really will drop you. Idiot.”
And then Killua leaped upwards, the balcony disappeared under Gon’s feet. His stomach dropped and he gasped. The view that stretched out below them was stunning with its emerald trees, golden fields of wheat and gleaming rivers. It was every bit as incredible as Gon had imagined.
Gravity took hold and they started to drop. Gon let out a loud whoop as they soared through the air, making sure to keep his grip tight on Killua through it all. Killua laughed in his ear in response- carefree and happy and wonderful- and it was the most beautiful sound Gon had ever heard.
Gon craned his head to look up at Killua and the air left his lungs at the stunning cerulean color of the other teen’s curved eyes. He felt a strange swooping sensation that had nothing to do with the fact that they had just jumped off a blimp hundreds of feet above ground. He was breathless, dazed, just because of the blue in Killua’s eyes.
Killua grinned at him. Gon’s heart felt like it was bursting at the sight. He smiled back and his chest filled with an unparalleled joy.
Together, they fell towards earth through the blue of endless skies.
Oh My God, They Were Roommates by almostmadlad ( T | 125,170 | 27/27 )
Tease by litrallymadlad ( E | 132,115 | 22/22 )
No fucking way, Killua thought. There’s no way Gon is a porn star.
He clicked onto the account’s profile page. There, in perfect clarity, was a picture of Gon Freecss’ face.
- - -
Killua thought it was weird that his lecture hall buddy, Gon, “didn’t have social media”. He didn’t look into it—at least, not at first. But when the nude model in his figure drawing class turns out to be a porn star, Killua really didn’t expect her to be a dominatrix, much less one that collaborated with Gon Freecss.
Killua’s semester is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
[Deleted] You’re Breaking My Guard by peachiinari ( M | 147,565 | 30/30 )
He misses it. Fighting.
Ballet took off the nervous edge from not being as active as he used to, but it didn’t quite replace the feeling or tension he felt during a good sparring. He misses the feeling of his heart at his throat, pounding, as he swings fist and foot, technique after technique, to knock his opponent out.
So he doesn’t protest when Bisky takes him to the industrial zone in YorkNew City, to some underground ring she supposedly sponsors. He watches as his world tilts on his axis, and he gets thrown into a world he didn’t know existed.
He watches as Gon Freecss comes stumbling into his life, and turns it completely upside with one swift punch to the gut.
((or: Killua does ballet but wishes for a little more in his life, and Gon participates in a fight club as the undefeated fighter. Their paths cross, and there grows a little something more.))
Gon, on the other hand, is set on proving to him that this happiness can last. And if Gon was one thing, it was stubborn to the point of obstinacy.
I Want Something (Just Like This) by cheritsundere ( T | 35,823 | 4/4 )
"Look, Brother! They have a new action figure of you-R FAVORITE HUNTER," Alluka said, correcting her word choice when she remembered that they were out in public.
He looked into the store shop window. Situated among some of the most popular hunters was a tiny version of himself, striking a dynamic pose - his jacket flowing dramatically and little blue sparks decorating the base. It wasn't bad. Definitely an improvement over his 1st merch.
He heard a gasp to his left. "SilverShock is your favorite too?!"
With a quick turn, Killua was met with the biggest brown eyes he thought could exist and a smile even bigger. The kid couldn't be much older than him yet he had a feeling that Mr. Sunshine probably acted closer to a Kindergartner. He took a few steps closer to his sister to put some distance between them before answering. "He's more my sis's fave than mine, but yeah I think he's cool," Killua answered, internally patting himself on the back for his modesty. He was probably the best newcomer in the country if his stats were anything to go by, but still...
Mr. Sunshine was a fan of his?
[Discontinued] A Myriad of Color by benitato ( E | 34,808 | 11/17 )
Everything is monochromatic in Gon’s world until he meets Killua, who doesn’t seem to realize how starved he is of a life with color. This only makes Gon more determined to show him how much there is to see besides gray— if only Killua would stop refusing to touch him.
Killua doesn’t mind a world of shadows; it’s terribly convenient. He’s not about to let one happy-go-lucky heathen of a soulmate change that, fate be damned. And no, he doesn’t particularly care that said soulmate is a bit on the attractive side, or that he keeps nudging closer and offers Killua chocolate.
Nope. Not at all.
When Gon and Killua had first taken the job, it had seemed simple enough: sneak, steal, deliver—easy. They hadn’t expected for things to escalate so quickly, much less for them to get personal in the most painful way possible.
After all, they were criminals. They weren’t fit for playing ‘heroes'—it just wasn’t their thing. And falling in love? That had never been a part of the equation.
Love was a dangerous thing to be in when people wanted nothing more than to make you suffer.
[Discontinued] In Light of Things We Cannot See by teasdays ( T | 27,488 | 3/? )
Killua’s shoulder prickles as the presence there seems to shift. He breathes out.
“Gon is exactly who I think he is. And he’s disappeared at the same time as-” Killua’s eyes dart from Illumi to the window, and he nearly glances to his desk, where the gold box rests. “At the same time as I released a jinni. I think you’re drawing the wrong conclusions.”
“Never trust the occult,” Illumi tells him. Killua knows he's right; his sister’s headstone is reminder enough.
But Killua has grown up with a sixth sense – the unusual ability to feel magic around him, traces of it on magic users, or the concentrated crackle of spirits made up of magic itself. And so Killua knows that the boy he met at boarding school is a far cry from the jinni that wears Gon’s face. But Gon is missing, and it’s Killua’s fault – he’s the one, after all, who released the jinni in the first place.
It takes almost a week for anyone from the Zoldyck castle to finally track Killua down after he’s kidnapped. Not like it matters really: even if he hadn’t been able to take care of his attackers—which he was, he’s a prince not a weakling—traveling mercenary and accidental freer of princes Gon Freecss has been more than capable. Once he’d cut Killua’s bindings and put a small dagger into his hands, the two of them had cut a swath through the bandit camp. The following week has been…
For Gon, it’s probably been an irregular but otherwise acceptable week of mercenary work—although he hasn’t gotten paid at all, and the gold offered by the Zoldyck butlers is turned down with an awkward laugh. He’s certainly taken Killua being the heir to a small but almost hilariously affluent kingdom with barely a blink.
But for Killua, it has been everything. Because for the first time, someone didn’t give a shit about who he was supposed to be, and only cared about him.
“Will I see you again?” Gon asks, expression tight with unspoken nerves. The idea of never seeing Gon again is utterly inconceivable. The realization that Killua doesn’t want to live in a world without his new friend hits him like a felled tree. It’s been a week. How has Gon turned his world on its head in a week. What would it be like with a month? A year?
“Of course, idiot.” Gotoh, Canary, and Amane are all glaring at him as though channeling Queen Kikyo and Prince Illumi all at once, but he doesn’t care.
Gon doesn’t look like he’s ready to let Killua go. “Then, take this as a promise!” he says, and holds out the same dagger that he’d shoved into Killua’s hands almost a week ago. The worn leather sheath is incongruous with the blue steel of the blade. It had been Gon’s father’s, once, and now it’s Gon’s—from Killua’s experience, he uses it more to slice meat and clean his nails than as any sort of memorabilia.
“Will you take it?” Gon asks again.
Killua grins. “It’s a promise,” he says, and tucks Gon’s dagger—his dagger into his belt.
Gon closes his hand over Killua’s, hot as a brand, and Killua’s heart flops over. He can’t stop smiling, though, not in the face of Gon’s grin. And then he’s gone, back into the forest, and Killua can breathe again.
Gotoh’s glare deepens. “Do you know how furious your brother will be,” he says.
Killua shrugs. “You found me, right? And Gon found me first. So there’s no harm done.” Not if he can convince Gon to visit at the palace soon. Maybe he’ll come for Killua’s birthday? Or a feast day? Or maybe Killua can make something up…
“My prince,” Canary says in a tone that might as well be saying you complete idiot. “You are aware the Freecss family is from Whale Island?”
“Of course. Gon told me all about it. He even invited me to visit his aunt—which I’m going to, first chance I get.” He dares them to challenge this, one of the sparingly few things Killua’s ever wanted for himself.
Gotoh’s expression falls into bemused frustration, making Amane and Canary both cough back laughter. He says, “Then you must also know that for the people on Whale Island, willingly accepting a personal dagger is equivalent to accepting an engagement for marriage?”
Killua chokes.
The fic where they find Ging in the whale island is the best it was so funny and so cute!!! If you have anytime please write part two!..but if you can't it's still okey
Thank you!!! I wasn’t sure if that story was as funny as it sounded in my head so I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much! I hope this is just as good ^^;
But yeah so here’s part two to this drabble about Killua and Gon dealing with an intrusive Ging- so this is still canon universe featuring 18 year olds Killua and Gon. This takes place the morning after the original drabble!
(and here’s part three)
“So. How did you sleep?” was the first thing Killua heard as he shuffled into the Freeccs kitchen at the break of dawn.
Killua squinted at Ging, who’s silhouette was outlined by the rising sun, and felt his lips immediately tug down into a scowl.
Of course. The one time Killua was up early and the only other Freeccs awake happened to be the only other Freeccs who was also an asshole.
“I didn’t sleep,” Killua growled as he dropped gracelessly into one of the chairs around the table. “And its your fault. If you hadn’t barged in last night-”
“If I hadn’t barged in, you wouldn’t have slept anyway,” Ging cut him off. “That bed is too small to comfortably fit two fully grown adults. And if Gon sleeps any way like I do, he’s not the most peaceful sleeper. Face it, you would’ve been down here with that same disgruntled expression on your face even if you had slept with your boyfriend.”
Heat rushed to Killua’s cheeks at the word ‘boyfriend’ and he barely resisted the urge to bury his face in his hands. Seriously, why did Ging have to be here on the rare occasion Killua and Gon had decided to visit Whale Island?! Every time the guy opened his mouth Killua wanted to scream.
There was a strange sizzling noise. Killua looked up in time to see Ging fiddling with the stove. For the first time since entering the room, Killua noticed kitchen utensils and mixed ingredients scattered on the counters.
Was Ging making breakfast-?
“Hey.”
A soft hand carded through his hair, gentle and heart-warmingly familiar. Killua automatically leaned into the touch despite his current lack of energy.
He smiled up at Gon, who’s chaotic brown spikes were tousled and half falling into his eyes, and Gon’s lips quirked up in response. Gon slowly moved his hand to brush Killua’s hair out of his face, fingers lingering on his still-pink cheeks. Killua reached up, hand holding Gon’s in place like he was trying to mold Gon’s handprint into his skin-
“Did you sleep as poorly as your friend, Gon?” Ging asked, shocking the pair back to reality.
Killua gritted his teeth as Gon’s hand fell away. He tried his best to ignore the roar of frustration that rose inside him while Gon glanced over at Ging, brows furrowing. “…yeah. I’m used to sleeping with Killua, so. It was hard not having him there.”
Ging looked over his shoulder with both eyebrows raised and Killua shrieked internally. Holy shit, that had sounded so wrong.
“Have you now.” Ging fully faced them, back pressed against the counter. “Y’know, you should be more careful saying stuff like that so casually with your aunt in earshot.”
Gon’s shoulders stiffened and Ging chuckled.
“Relax. Mito’s not here. Yet, at least.”
Okay. That was it, Killua couldn’t take this- this teasing anymore. Not when he was this exhausted, not after he’d spent the whole night wide-eyed and frozen on the mattress without Gon’s presence to calm him down, not when Ging had interrupted his moment with Gon for the fourteenth time in the past five days-
“What exactly is your problem?!” Killua burst out. “Do you have something against me and Gon being together?! Because if you do,you’d better say it before I punch that stupid grin off your smug face!”
“Killua!” Gon gasped but Ging was smirking.
“You must be pretty confident if you think you can land a hit on me.”
Killua shot upwards. Only Gon’s hand on his shoulder stopped him from throwing himself at Gon’s joke of a dad.
“Killua, no-” Gon said even as Ging snapped, “Calm down, weren’t you an assassin in the past? I have nothing against your relationship with Gon.”
The burning anger inside him melted away as fast as it had come, leaving both Killua and Gon to gape at the older male.
“I think you’re pretty special, actually,” Ging continued in a semi-thoughtful tone. “Gon wouldn’t shut up about you the first time we met. It was always ‘Killua this’ and ‘Killua that’….I can see why, now.”
Killua blinked, stomach twisting and heart soaring. Inside him, confusion warred with embarrassment, mixed in with a rush of overwhelming affection for his best friend at his side.
He had never known what Gon said to Ging after he and Alluka left Gon at the World Tree. Gon had mentioned bits and pieces of it in passing, sure, but it never felt right to directly ask Gon what had passed between him and his father. Killua had left Gon’s side, he had no right to ask that of him.
But now hearing that Gon had talked about Killua…the knowledge made his chest swell.
“Then- then why-” Gon stuttered, “Why have you been acting so-?”
“Irritating?” Ging suggested as he picked at his nails. “Intrusive, obnoxious, nagging-”
“Infuriating,” Killua interrupted shortly and was surprised when Ging gave him a wide grin.
“That too. I haven’t even told Mito this, but the real reason is very simple, actually.” Ging pushed himself off the counter and went back to meddling with whatever was in the pot on the stove.
Gon and Killua shared a confused look. What was Ging trying to-
Ging said abruptly, “I can’t leave too good of an impression on you, Killua, or else I’d have a son-in-law running around telling people that I am much friendlier than I appear. And I can’t have my reputation as an obnoxious loner ruined or else I’d be done for.”
Killua’s jaw dropped as Gon let out a shaky laugh.
“You’ve got to be joking,” Killua moaned, slumping back into his seat.
“Nope,” Ging said and made a popping sound on the ‘p’.
Killua curled his hands in his unbrushed and knotty hair, staring at the table’s wooden surface with eyes that burned with exhaustion. He could hear Gon still laughing in the background but ignored him.
He couldn’t believe it; Ging was a jerk purposefully acting like jerk so his fucking reputation as a jerk wouldn’t be destroyed, just so he could continue living the isolated life he had been before Gon had finally caught up to him during the Chairman Election.
What a moron.
“Well, that’s one mystery cleared,” Gon half-whispered to Killua as he began to lower himself into the seat next to Killua’s.
“GON!” Aunt Mito’s sudden shriek was sharp enough to make all three males jolt. “I thought I told you to sit across the table from Killua!”
Gon grimaced but did as he was told.
Killua stared blankly at the opposite wall just above Gon’s head. He had always known that his own family was insane, but the Freecss…they were on an entirely different level of crazy, one of their own making.
Killua leaned back in his chair, head spinning while Ging’s snickers filled kitchen, and closed his eyes.
What he would give for a nap.
