Thursday, i Will see the mangaka of this Masterpiece ‘Radiant’ for real (Im very nervous i think i might cry from happiness and too Much feelings when i’ll see him-)

And…..this man, Tony Valente…..He just made my childhood and my teenagehood (idk if Its called like that it made sense in my head) I read his mangas often, really often, i have the artbook, i have old fanart of his illustrations (i made them when i was 12 haha they are ugly asf)

My favorite oc is based on this guys i was simping for :

Its very very special, the manga have weird french humor, a lot of cool charadesign, original plot twist, lgbt characters, autistic characters (not stereotipycal and not defined by these specificity)

Radiant turned ten this week! Considering the impact this manga had on me, I couldn't miss the opportunity to make a fan-art. If I had not read Radiant in 2014, I might not have begun to draw, so I'm very grateful for this story.

Yesterday, I received a package where I ordered last Thursday the four remaining volumes of the French manga Wakfu, books in making of season 1 of the animated series Wakfu (+ OVA/OVA Nox), the 15th anniversary artbook of the Krosmoz and bonuses of purchase including an "Ile des Wabbits" magnet and a Cire Momore smartphone holder. :) 

I can't wait to read all this during my little break (Yes, I'm taking a little break, I work too much! x))

I'm reading a manga in wich one of the main character is a robot (think Terminator like) and absolutely no one ever notice it's the most frustrating and funniest things ever.

Like hello his father is a talking dog. He has no social skills. He's the leader. He understand nothing about what's going on. He's a killing machine. He's baby. He can run faster than a car. AND NO ONE NEVER NOTICE.

On the other hand his friends are about the same level of communication and would rather eat gravel than giving one (1) personal fact but come on.

something i wish i'd see more in trigun fanarts is people having vash speak their native/non-english languages completely unprompted, ive seen folks have him speak french, which he canonically knows, but i really do believe he's a polyglot. mostly because of that one time in the desert when he saw the samurai and wanted to greet him in japanese but struggled to remember how to even say hello.

my headcanon is that rem had them learn as many languages as possible but with the big fall and so many people dying, which i think is what led english to became No man's land main (or even only?) language, means that vash (and knives!) both got horribly out of practice and are various sort of rusty in every others languages.

what im saying if there's any pun or joke you've been dying to write but just doesn't work in english vash (and knives!!) are right there!

The author-designer [French mangaka] Migouze (or Mig for short) suggested that artists and meme fans create a cover for volume 5 of the Ogrest manga just for fun ^^

Personally, I took it seriously (yes, thoroughly while having fun x'D), I drew Echo since it can be a fairly obvious character to present on a volume cover 👀
