Hello folks I've finally finished this!! You can find the Google Slide version here, and the pdf version with all the links intact here.

I spent way too long on this but I had fun, so I hope you have fun too if you decide to give it a read! I think it could be enjoyed by both people who haven't seen it and people who have seen it. At the same time it's also quite self indulgent lol I included a lot of photos and links to clips for easy access. It got so long it's 43 pages and I still feel like there's a lot I didn't talk about lol I'd be very happy if you'd like to know more about it!!! Here's some png previews:

I think it's becoming official that we're having a DVD version of RetJ 2023 😭😭

I really hope they're also going to play in France but with everyone's schedule I don't think it's going to happen before the end of 2024 or 2025 (I can wait one or two more years as long as I can go see the musical 🙏🙏)

I was reading a book of musical anecdotes written by un pernicieux rosbif an Englishman not very long after the last Napoleonic Wars and you can tell relations between our two countries were still somewhat tense 😔

At one point he goes on and on for a whole page about how gorgeous the Paris Opera is, "sumptuous", "magnificent", the interior décor is "one of the finest in the world", "a chandelier of the grandest order", and the painted ceiling!, and the blue velvet in the boxes!, and you're like "he's saying nice things? about us? 🥺" — then he concludes with:

"the opera in Paris is top-tier in every respect except if you want to listen to good opera"
