Jimmy had known about this type of loop from Grian, still waking up with healing powers and stuck in a tower was a lot. Still Grian said he just needed to reach the castle, reunite with this loop's version of his parents and get mother gothel apprehended. Ok so to compare to SpongeBob I guess, you guys defend something , and this person often does or just has or will walk away or leave in order to continue to plot or just look back and dwell on something and or the past/what just happened.

Seems like this person does want something and I'm guessing it's either yours or someone you know/care about. They think it will bring them success of some sort. This person has once or many times or I suppose maybe in the future will, try to do something , they think their slick, and they're creating bullshit and sort of wreaking havok more or less. In some way this person operates they're actually trying to compensate for something. Physically, mentally, whatever. Something they don't have at least no enough of. They lack. Ok. LOL . So this person views you as someone who has something of value but you aren't good or skilled enough to have it and you only have it so that someone who is "capable " can come and take it and use it to it's highest potential. You guys don't get offended this person is delusional. It's yours and it matches you not them. People like this have huge egos and they need to lie to themselves other wise WHAT would they do? Seriously what would they do with themselves. They wouldnt have an excuse to fuck shit up anymore. They need to be delusional about it so that they can do it. God knows why . Elain's powers that we haven't seen since acofas and her new- found boldness. The dusk court too, even though it has no fricking ties to Elain, but Bryce and Nesta.

Then I hear people rereading Az's bonus chapter and say "omg this is foreshadowing for El/riel".. 💀?

I'm not understanding what foreshadowing they are talking about- I don't trust them since they just add Elain to plots she has no ties in and protect the line "bread and roses" with their life.

The foreshadowing for Elain's book is when SJM said in 2019 (?) in that interview in the back of the papaerback of acofas, when she said "I am writing Elain's book". The end. That's not foreshadowing, that's sjm literally telling people she is writing Elain's book. We have known this for ages.

Honestly, they aren't using the word foreshadowing correctly, so... You cannot say something is foreshadowing if the thing being "foreshadowed" hasn't happened yet. Period. Full stop. That's not how it works.

It's like saying "tomorrow I am going to win a million dollars, I foreshadowed it 😌" okay well that's fucking great but that doesn't actually mean anything??? If there is still a chance that I don't get a million dollars tomorrow, then I didn't foreshadow shit, I just said something and I hope that it comes true 🤣🤣🤣

So yeah! Anyone who says "X is foreshadowing this specific thing to happen in acotar5" isn't using the concept of foreshadowing correctly and is just going to look like a whole ass clown. It would be more accurate to say "based on this evidence, I think there is a chance that this thing could happen in acotar5". There could be good evidence for what we think might happen! We have evidence to say that Illyria is important, that Az has a strong connection to CC3, that certain characters will be more helpful than others when it comes to helping Bryce, but that's not foreshadowing. That's just saying "this thing is possible based on what we know".

Like bread and roses - you CANNOT say that it's foreshadowing until it is confirmed that Az and Elain are living together. Then, people could say "oh I noticed this thing, and sjm was telling us!" However, we already know that's not why that imagery appeared in hosab. SJM already explained why she set that scene up the way she did. Which is an example of people screaming "foreshadowing" and then ending up with egg on their face.

Is Elain getting a book? YES. We know that!!!! We have known that for years. We have tons of questions about her, her powers, what she wants from her life, what will happen with Lucien, if she will truly reconcile with Nesta and be understood by both her sisters, how she feels about her parents. There's no reason for that to happen in the story now, though. Not when other characters have a dozen other stronger connections to the current plot!

hermione, as she grows up, realizes some extremely key things that annabeth just didn't.

authority figures (the teachers in hermione's case, the gods in annabeth's) aren't always right. in fact, sometimes they're wrong, but nobody really realizes.

sometimes adults can't be trusted to do the right thing (to be fair annabeth DID kinda get this one, but honestly only because there ARE no adults beyond chiron and dionysus in camp half blood)

sometimes the only one who can get something done is yourself. if you see injustice, whether it's small (like someone calling your best friend a delusional liar) or large (umbridge's whole thing), it's your responsibility to do everything in your power to correct that injustice.

there are more important things than being smart. being smart is fine, but if you're prideful about it to the point you reject criticism on principle, you're not going to be in the right.

and by small things i mean things that affect one person, in your immediate life, whereas the large things affect more than just you

in annabeth's case, a couple examples would be, say......i dunno, the lack of a hades cabin??? the fact that the minor demigods had to stay in the overcrowded hermes cabin????

like im not saying annabeth COULD do something, i'm just saying there's a CHANCE

she was at camp FAR longer than percy, she could've petitioned the gods for more cabins, or at the very very least permission to expand the hermes cabin. she could've even brought it to mr d and asked HIM to do something, but she DIDN'T
