For all you Harry Potter fans, the time is now. Developed by Jam City in partnership with Warner Bros, this mobile app allows both Android and iOS users to finally attend Hogwarts. Set years before the Boy Who Lived graced the hallowed halls of Hogwarts, this RPG allows players to experience the wizarding school in a brand new fashion. Featuring never before seen rooms and new ancient mysteries, finally you can feel the joy of learning powerful magic from Professor Dumbledore. Be a part of Snape’s potion class, relish the adrenaline from getting sorted into your House, which is easy enough to manipulate into getting into your favorite one, or just be really honest and see what you get.
Starting off with customizing your own student avatar, YOU decide what kind of witch or wizard you will be. Journey to Hogwarts, live out a whole new story with you at the center. Advance through the years, unlocking new spells, potions, characters, and locations; all while attending your classes. Win the House Cup with your housemates, help friends by completing quests and adventure together with friends and earn the respect of fellow students. You can even take to the Quidditch Pitch, be a part of Duels, and romance crushes. The one downside I’ve found out during my research is that there’s not a lot of action. It’s very much a story based game, not always pushing players to engage in a duel, battle, or quest.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is free to play on the Google Play Store and the App Store, however you can choose to purchase in game items with real world money. This setting can be disabled if you’d rather not, though. I personally will be downloading this game as I have a severe love for Harry Potter. I, like many others, have high expectations for this game and am looking forward to it.

Hey everybody, it’s FrozenFire here, and this is a blog I’ve created to try to start up my potential career in gaming/multimedia journalism. I’ve been writing short stories my whole life that either tend to drift into fantasy or sci fi and I’ve been an avid(albeit casual) gamer for as long as I can remember. I want to combine two of my greatest passions and see if I can get into this field that I get so much joy from being a part of. It’s about time I set aside time to pursue a career that I would enjoy. Bear with me as I get everything set up and if you guys have any recommendations on games/shows/new technological devices you want my two cents on, please don’t hesitate to drop and ask/dm.
