daphne walked ahead toward the line of people waiting for their coffee order and went to grab hers when she saw that somebody had already taken hers, turning around she glanced the shop and made a face. "did somebody grab a coffe for daphne?" she asked the people in the shop. "i thought i heard my name called already, but...i could have been wrong, i guess."

Poppy hadn’t quiet heard all the drama involving the new witch, but she had heard that Daphne had just found out she was one. Rather than let the other struggle with her new found identity Poppy had decided to reach out, by reach out she actually meant stalk the other until she could corner them in a way where she didn’t seem threatening. As Daphne sat at a table she tapped on the countertop waiting for her drink. When it finally came up she carried the coffee over to the table and took a seat across from the other woman. “Hi. You’re Daphne right? I think that’s what they said your name was the other night.” Recalling what she could of the conversations she’d overheard. “I’m Poppy. poppy Reed.” Extending her hand to the other woman with a half hearted smile. “I’m the supreme around here.”

with a sigh, daphne’s eyes danced around her room as she took note of the various painted details on her ceiling. she hadn’t really noticed the embellishments before, but then again, she hadn’t had any trouble sleeping until very recently. now that she was trying to make sense of her own thoughts and feelings, she had spent countless hours staring at the little details. cheer entered with her younger sister francesca and as she moved to lay down next to her, daphne’s head turned to face her. without saying a word, she reached for her sister’s hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. “tell me something good, dear sister,” she said with a smile, as warmly as she could manage.
