i have a headcanon that toriel has a hand-washing compulsion where she does it wayy more thoroughly than needed, instinctively trying to scrub under her claws even when they're perfectly clean because she can still feel the phantom of dirt under them from the time she dug chara's grave.

In case anyone wanted to know what shampoo/conditioner/deodorant/etc. Dennis uses, I'm fairly sure I've identified most of what's in here.

Shampoo: Alberto VO5 (Unknown scent. Possibly Tea Therapy - Vanilla Mint Tea or Ocean Refresh)

Note: Pretty sure there's an Ass Kickers United sticker on the top of the cap. My money's on tea therapy, vanilla mint goes better with the conditioner.

Conditioner: Herbal Essences - White Strawberry & Sweet Mint

Deodorant: Speed Stick GEAR (Unknown scent. Only back label is visible. Possible scents: Fresh Force, Cool Motion, Clean Peak)

Toothpaste: Crest Classic

Shaving Cream: Nivea

Seems to have a sponge and a rolled up towel in the center compartment. Two toothbrushes and a small makeup palette with brushes in the outside pockets. Not sure about the sunscreen/lotion. Could be an old bottle of Coppertone or Goldbond (it's extremely difficult to find older designs from around when the episode was shot to cross reference).

followed up my shower by making the astonishingly healthy choice to have a huge bowl of cereal and a banana for breakfast, even though my first instinct was to make a meal of ben & jerrys ice cream instead. in conclusion i am Excelling at self-care & if i keep this up i will for sure cure my chronic illness.

so I've gotten into perfume

#or rather I've gotten into phlur lol #i asked my very fashionable and of-the-moment sister for perfume recs for my birthday a while back and she gave me:#1. the missing person travel size 2. the nest golden nectar travel size and 3. the replica by the fireplace travel size #and I BLEW through missing person I loved it so much I had to get the full bottle #I got the travel tangerine boy as a summer scent and while I think it has poor lasting power I love the smell and plan to rebuy #I got the travel father figure just yesterday lol I wanted to try a fig scent #I bought the ellis brooklyn sunfruit travel size for my eurotrip this year and mostly used it up there #and juliette has a gun's not a perfume superdose is another recent purchase. I couldn't smell the normal perfume well #but I like skin scents and gave the superdose a try and could smell it!#i want to test out some diptyque scents... I walked into a diptyque store in london but the scent wall was being monopolized by someone els #so i didnt end up testing anything lol #anyways... what are your favorite scents???#missing person is MY SCENT i adore it and really want to branch into using the body wash/lotion/candle #also im ignoring the imaginary authors tiny tester bottles to the right... i bought an exploration kit from them A YEAR ago and honestly...#I didn’t like a single scent :/

I think there's a lot of irony in the fact that I love busywork like washing dishes and chopping potatoes and vacuuming and mopping and all that, except I'm not in a physical state where I can actually do those for hours or even moderately long intervals at a time at a job, also they expect you to do like 5 other things. That 4chan post about that guy just frying eggs at a restaurant all day(?) and loving it is such a mood

#I say the ideal job for me is pressing a button every 3 minutes because I love repetition but if I could wash mugs and be able to sit down #and not be expected to do anything else or be expected to socialize with customers or really anyone else it would be ideal #I wish data entry jobs weren't them expecting you to be a full blown secretary or customer service too or are highly specialized nowadays #my favorite childhood pastime in the summer was carrying and dragging around large branches and logs for a campfire or log pile #I unironically love menial work and my body went hahaaaaa no
