SimWardrobe's Candy Crafting Station with Parsimonious Chocolate Boxes

I saw a reblog of @pixeldolly's recolored chocolate boxes for SimWardrobe's candy crafting station and I had a sudden urge to take it even further. I also just hit 200 followers so this can be my followers' gift, too!

The candy crafting station allows your sims or their employees to make five different types of chocolates and pack them in boxes for resale at an owned business. Each flavor has a different effect when a sim consumes them. You'll find it under Appliances/Misc for $5,000.

I changed the objects crafted at the station from the boxes of chocolate based on the pizza object, to the boxes from Parsimonious' For the Love of Chocolate set.

I also added hobby enthusiasm to the machine and the chocolates and added special bonuses for the sim that eats them.

The five types of chocolates are: Milk Chocolate: satisfies hunger, no special effect Dark Chocolate: increases fun and hunger Mint Chocolate: increases comfort and hunger Ginger Chocolate: increases energy and hunger Extra Dark Chocolate: increases hunger and adds love potion effect (eating disabled for children and toddlers)

I'm really excited that I got this to work and I think it's really fun, so I hope that you all will like it as much as I do. :)

Notes on the candy crafting station:

I did not change the GUID of the Sim Wardrobe station, so you can't have both in your downloads folder at the same time.

Sims gain cooking skill when making candy. (You must have the comm-skilling hack from MATY to gain skills on community lots.)

On an owned business lot, candy will go into the business owner's inventory.

New: Sims gain cuisine hobby enthusiasm when making candy.

New: Candy output changed to chocolate boxes from Parsimonious. (see below)

New: Changed icons on the machine from fruit to ones that match the "ingredients" of the different chocolates. Icons were created by FreePik at flaticon.com. They're crunchy up close, but I decided I could live with them. The originals were pretty crunchy too.

Notes on the chocolate boxes:

The chocolate objects were created by Kate at parsimonious.com. Polycount: 904

Sims will use the snacking animations when eating the chocolates. There is no half-empty or empty state. Sims will throw the box away when finished. If a sim lays the object down after picking it up, it will be turned on its side. Eating can be resumed if it is not empty.

Placing objects on displays using moveobjects on may cause the item to disappear after restocking. Turning off the cheat before placement or placing the chocolates in the Decra-Chill display seems to fix this issue.

These objects have new GUIDs, and can be used along with the original and its recolors.

Eating these chocolates will decrease fitness rather quickly, same as snacking on chips/cookies.

NEW: Sims gain cuisine hobby enthusiasm while eating.

NEW: Sims no longer burp while eating the chocolates.

NEW: Updated the price and catalogue descriptions for all and changed the box texture for the Extra Dark Chocolates. Prices are set as follows: Milk Chocolate $20; Dark, Mint, Ginger Chocolates $30; Extra Dark Chocolate $40

NEW: Chocolate boxes must be crafted and do not appear in the catalog. If you want to be able to buy them from the catalog, just give the objects a buy category using SimPE or whoward's Object Relocator. If you do that, you can use these objects with or without the crafting station in your downloads folder.

TS3 Functional Closet Mod

The idea for this mod started with my want to convert TS2 Apartment Life closet. I could have used the Supernatural wardrobe as a base, but I wanted the doors to have proper animations and the ability to function like real closet doors against the wall, similar to how doors work in the game. So, this mod was created! 😊

What is this mod?

This mod functions as a dresser but includes a new animation that allows the doors to slide open like an actual closet. When the closet opens and closes, the Sim plays an idle animation, and when changing clothes, they use the spin animation.

The mod includes two different types, depending on the closet:

Dresser Type – Offers the same interactions as the base game dresser. This type is best for closets without mirrors.

Mirror Type – Includes interactions from the vanity table in Supernatural and Showtime (Don’t worry, the mod is 100% base game compatible!).

Important! This mod does not add a closet object to the game by itself. It only provides the necessary functionality for closet objects to work properly!

The Closet Object:

As mentioned earlier, this mod was created because I wanted to convert TS2 closet. The conversion is included with the mod, and you're welcome to use it as a base for creating your own closets! 😊

The closet comes in three different versions:

Opaque

Mirror – This version is split into two parts: the closet and a separate mirror for the animated door. To use it properly, simply place the mirror on the closet—it will slot into place and move with the door 😊

Glass

Both merged and unmerged versions are included—please install only one! (The merged file does not include the mod itself.)

How to Install?

Place the mod and the closet objects in your Mods/Packages folder.

How to Create Your Own Closet?

Choose the version you'd like to clone as your base and ensure the OBJK is set correctly in S3PE for the closet type you want.

So this lot is more of a photoshoot set than actual building and I can't share that mess - but here's most of the CC / defaults I used in there. Also, please note this Reshade preset affected the colors.

Plant in the main pic is Bioshock 2 conversion by Misty-fluff anyone has a link? I've included it - it's actually my mesh edit with pot removed. Original conversion /with the pot/ is here.

Eventually I didn't place any grand staircase in my club - but I was going to. As my internet was down at the time, I made my own mesh edits without the stupid middle raillings. Mesh defaults for 'Sweeping Success Staircase' and deco staircase aka 'A Stair to Remember' (both are from M&G EP) - are included.

Defaults for these already exist - like this one by HL - but please note I edited Sweeping Staircase's railing posts and steps a bit. I also edited UVs, so my replacement does not require texture edits and is compatible with recolors for original.

There's also this default by simblrnova, which includes GMND fix, so the side panels change colors along the main subset (I think they also edited UVs).

You can use my texture replacement for 'Stair to remember' along any mesh default for these stairs. Please note I didn't replace side panel textures.

Matching texture / TXMT replacement for the deco fence 'A Fence to keep in mind' is included in a separate file. Obviously it will clash with other defaults for this fence, like "SN-RailingtoKeepinMind-TXMTFix" by Simblrnova.

/I have no idea if middle stair railing is used for sliding animations - if it is, anims will obviously look awkward. /

I gave Velvet Rope Fence posts a little makeover - you can choose between shape edit, or shape edit plus TXMT edit.

And in case you wonder about the microphone - it's a mesh replacement for "Small superstar microphone" (from Apartment Life, maybe?) with amplifier removed

Microphone dr is not included, I uploaded it HERE (SFS)

Steel support beam requires Apartment Life EP. It looks best in black so I recommend these pipe recolors too.

Round banquet table is a decorative object

It will pull textures from Roundabout table, which could be from Celebrations SP (?) . You can use some invisible 1x1 table to make it somewhat functional /I included invisible table recolor for the 'groovy' square table from UNI EP/.

Decor bits on the table are a part of the mesh, if you don't like it, you can open GMDC in simPe and delete unwanted subsets /FYI those plates are lower than default Eaxis plate/.

I've included small mineral water bottle that didn't make it into my bar decor set as it should.

Crystal chandelier aka Cascades chandelier is a TS2 preorder item, I've included the mesh /with edited texture, black 'circle' removed from the canopy top/. The other one is from M&G /I think?/.

Fancy planter is an add on for 'Off the hook egg" (maybe OFB?), has one placement slot. Recolors (2 in one) included - recolor says red and black, but I changed it to gold last minute.

2-story spotlighter was cloned from an ordinary ceiling lamp, and is not animated - 'light beams' are not recolourable, and are always on. It requires Night Life - I also included recolor for the other NL spotlighter, as I discovered later these are not texture-linked.

2-story curtains are an add-on for 4t2 Wondymoon Cycnus curtains converted by @deatherella - s4 original is here (T$R) - I included the required mesh and my recolors - red and dark purple.

Plumbob sign is based on a symbol from TS2 litigator podium (a career reward).

Stuff I'll share some other time: 2-story light cable extension, table lamps /also, chairs - maybe/.

And if you're up for some DYI, here's the texture I used for the club ceiling. This is based on Adele's sectioned wood floor texture, made dark brown.

as @theonlybegottensim suggested, have @gua-cc's air conditioner set converted from ts4 to ts2! because in this heat, your sims deserve to keep cool, too 😎 these are based on @jacky93sims' air conditioners, which are based on simlogical's!

there are 2 types: wall and floor standing. you can pick if they are functional or decorative; you can have both versions in your game, so no worries! everything is roughly 300 polys. there are subsets for both the base and the screen in front. oh, and each type has clean as well as dirty swatches, for a total of 6 base recolours and 3 screen recolours ~ !

TSM-to-TS2: Medieval Traits (Completers)

They use their original icons and descriptions. There are over 60 traits in the game originally, but many have already been made/converted by Cedanyblee (2020), Laura & Mortia (2020A, 2020B, 2020C), Sun & Moon Star Factory (2021-2022; 2023), Fire Flower (2021), and others. Custom historical-fantasy traits are included in the new collection file for convenience. This set only includes traits which have NOT been made already. Documents with links to the other traits are available for download below. DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §0 | Buy > Misc  > Misc At the time of this post, these are for storytelling/completion purposes only. Rebecah's Sims 2 Functional Pizza Oven Reuploaded

this is one of my favorite obscure cc items for TS2 that i've had in my game, and i have decided to preserve it and reupload it for download! this pizza oven was originally made by rebecah benjamin (rest in peace 🖤) and was uploaded on affinitysims. affinitysims is no longer available, which includes most of her cc that was uploaded there back in the day original video by rebecah, showcasing this pizza oven in action

here are all of the recolors. they're merged with the main object (i did not merge the recolors myself, it simply came like this) your sims can gain cooking skill from this object and it has its own notification text, which is a pretty neat addition

it's possible that other people may have reuploaded this (and her other cc) already, but i personally don't know. regardless, i wanted to upload this myself, just in case someone hasn't ---------------------------------------------

Functional Cookie Jars for The Sims 2

These are 2 functional cookie jars with 8 different type of cookies. Your sims can eat them on command or autonomously (type of cookie is random). The jar won't spoil, but after 12 cookies your sims have to refill it and it will cost 20 simoleon. The jars have to be put on a surface to work. Found in kitchen appliances - miscellaneous. You'll need also the 8 cookies packages and the invisible plate for them to work (all included in the download below). You can have both jars in your game: one is converted from Icemunmun (cookies are from this creator too) and the other from Ravasheen. All is low poly.

The SimTimes finally found room in their budget for color printing of their newspapers! The bad news is, no one reads them anymore. Maybe they'll start now? In other news, The SimNation Telecom Company has been required by law to reactivate disconnected payphones to promote accessiblity to phone connectivity for all. Here's a quarter - go tell someone who might care! Important info and download 💾 under the cut:

This is an assortment of items that I worked on in 2022 and 2023. Most of this is comprised of different newspaper default replacement sets, the textures of which I converted from a few different creators. Additionally, you will find a few different things here... STC Payphone - Network Connected Original creator: Grande Lama I made this phone fully functional, and added geostates for when the phone is in use and when the handset is back on the hook. I also made this phone available in the in-game world editor, and it's flagged for use in CAW as well, so you can place it in your CAW metadata and use in worlds. It does function off-lot (as photographed!)

Crosley Simlish Serenity Payphone Original creator: ArwenKaboom (for The Sims 4 @TSR) I converted this phone and made it fully functional, and like the abovementioned phone, added geostates. I also added Simlish textures for all of the details and writing on the phone. I included the English ones too for those who might prefer them.

Functional Newspaper Stands and Dispensers Original creators: ATS3, phoebejay, alienpod, Episims, VeganKaktus, Budgie I figured I'd add the textures for the various newspapers to newspaper stands and dispensers that alienpod converted and added their textures to. They require the actual script from PhoebeJay to work. Without it, they will be decorative items. They can also be placed off-lot in the in-game world editor or in CAW. PhoebeJay's mod Simlish Bus Texture Override Original creators: FreshPrince, Lyralei As someone who probably spent half of their uni years on public transit, I was so excited for Lyralei's Bus Manager mod and was happy to test it out while testing my tennis mod. At some point I did a quick Simlish recolor override for the signs, license plates, and side-wraps, and I figured I'd share it now with this set! I included replacement textures for both the reading version and the folded up versions of the newspapers. Please note that, like with my tennis default replacements, you can only have one active newspaper default replacement in your game at once. Each default includes both the reading and matching folded version. The variety is there in case you would want to switch it up between different saves and/or worlds! Making these made me so nostalgic for the early 2000s...walking to the store with a payphone outside to make an important call and getting a coke ICEE for the journey to visit grandma who has a Crosley phone in her kitchen...our sims deserve that.

A Conversion of the Sims 3 Into the Future "Geyser Rift"

This was an unfinished project from 2018! (My previous version did not look very good.) It functions like the Nightlife Fire Jet, though I made it less likely to ignite Sims. I kept the original code for having multiple active instances of the object synchronize with each other, but I'm not sure it actually works. I added an additional ground element to the model, since TS2 doesn't handle partially masking a floor tile. That and the original mesh are separate subsets. As you can see, I made recolours of it matching the default terrain textures. The object is found under Decorative/Misc and costs 150$. -> Download at SimFileShare.

These are mostly edits of Animal Crossing conversions from this set by Decat @decat2 (or new clones with the same GUID) plus 2 new objects and 2 add-ons. Dollhouse is functional.

I couldn't stop myself from rearranging "cleaning set WC" model, moved the plunger to the back where it belongs.

All objects have shadows added and sharp edges sorted out. Recolor textures were re-done (thanks for the files @episims ) I've applied original normal maps and AO shading*. (BTW anyone converting from Animal Crossing to TS2 please check out this post ).

Books and book stand now have two subsets - fixing integrity would break these objects so I had to make new clones but I've recycled Decat's GUIDs.

Experiment Set went through a general makeover, I've switched glass subset to bottle fluids and made a new recolor for these. I've also enlarged the object, now it fits one-tile desk.

Mop and bucket is a new mesh - Decat also converted it ( file called "cleaning tools") but my mesh has two subsets and different proportions, as I edited the model to make it more realistic. I've modified textures to add more mop/rag colors.

Texture sizes for these objects range between 512x512 - 384x384 (yes).

AO maps (basically - baked shadowing) in case of AC objects are a part of "mix" texture, so you have to separate the green channel, desaturate and make overlay out of it - set to multiply or similar. It's also necessary to improve quality or at least smooth it out a bit, these are quite crunchy. I give it brownish tones for dark areas + pale blue hues for the light areas, works better than just grey.
