Functional Cookie Jars for The Sims 2
These are 2 functional cookie jars with 8 different type of cookies. Your sims can eat them on command or autonomously (type of cookie is random).
The jar won't spoil, but after 12 cookies your sims have to refill it and it will cost 20 simoleon. The jars have to be put on a surface to work. Found in kitchen appliances - miscellaneous.
You'll need also the 8 cookies packages and the invisible plate for them to work (all included in the download below).
You can have both jars in your game: one is converted from Icemunmun (cookies are from this creator too) and the other from Ravasheen. All is low poly.
DOWNLOAD HERE
If you don't like the plate to be invisible you can choose THIS second version of the Cookies with a napkin as a plate:

Functional Toaster for The Sims 2
This is something I wanted to do from long time. Some days ago I saw this functional toaster by Buggybooz and I have the idea to improve it, changing the appearance and adding some recipes. This is what I came out with. Toaster is a 4to2 conversion from AroundTheSims. I added the "peeking" toasts too but if you don't like them, there is an invisible recolor so they will not show on the machine. Recipes I added are: butter toasts, jam toast, nutella toast, banana toast, cheese toast and avocado toast. Hope you like them. Toasts will cost 24 simoleon each and even children can use the toaster. Everything is low poly. Found in small appliances.
DOWNLOAD HERE
**NEWS**: If you have already my old Avocado Toast, please rename it (or rename this new toast) or they will conflict each other.
If you have problems with sims obsessed with the object, I created 2 alternative versions. In the first one visitors autonomous interactions are disabled and advertising is decreased so household sims shouldn't use it so often. In the second version the autonomy is disabled for everyone. Choose only one and delete the previous version!

Let this day stand as a reminder that when you tell yourself to go slow because you're feeling bad, you actually accomplish a lot!
Apple Cider Vinegar allready to sit and continue to ferment.
Actually made whey properly!
Did a tiny bit of upscaling in my kitchen by putting a lamp on my refrigerator. Just made things cozy.
I took a big break while my bread was rising, took a nice long lunch break, enjoyed folding fresh laundry warm from the dryer, and got a bunch of budget work done. I also got a rough outline hammered out for a new HearthKeepers article.
All in all, it was a productive day that didn't swamp me. Hopefully I'll feel stronger tomorrow and won't have to be quite so careful.

@admiral-craymen replied to your post “I've been working some more on redecorating the house. This is the kitchen area. What do you think of it? And do you have any...”
Can you please show me those pictures now?
I can take pictures later if you're still curious
The tablecloth isn't a problem, it's fine like that

WIP Wednesday
tagged by @emerald-amidst-gold, today, & probably some others recently.
I've not much creative going on at the moment, but I did get the upright freezer defrosted & am prepping potato wedges (parboil & "flash freeze" before packaging makes it easy to just grab what you need).
