Our DUB-FUNK adventure

We feel that this song is very impactful and fun at the same time we have taken our DUB-FUNK adventure in a different direction now, using the complexities within simplicity. It's a new sound to DUB-FUNK. The drum sound hits hard, something the KingZiLLa worked on in his Funklab 2 studio Blake bringing excellent vocal delivery. Being driven by various artists like Run The Jewels, Zack De La Rocha we mostly follow how we feel when creating our music; this is why you hear what the DUB-FUNK FREAK the KingZiLLa is really about. Blake tells us a story of them getting down at the Bates Hotel making even Norman Bates shake his groove thang just like we hope you will.

Continuing this endeavor to establish the DUB-FUNK sound is where we are at right now. The main thing we are saying in this song is to be yourself if you want to change things; that's how to do it, not copying necessarily someone else's blueprint to success but writing out your own. We do have a big appreciation for other artists like Run The Jewels, Outkast, Zack De La Rocha.

About the Artist...

I was into music early in my life. It's always been there; I guess I will always be there. I picked up the sticks at the age of 17 and started playing drums. It became a great love of my life now; there is a new chapter becoming the artist the producer. What inspires me the most these days is the most simple of things. Just waking up in the morning being able to create this music is a great rush I can't put it any better than that live your best life live to create.
