Marty being the focus of the zine means we spend a lot of time in his head, following his negative self-talk. This book means to much to me because its meant to be a refutation of this quiet despair that Marty's going through—but in this moment he hasn't crawled out of that ditch yet. He's wallowing in it.

(Can u tell that i think about Marty like all day every day??? i like to squeeze him like a stress ball & make his eyes bulge out.)
