AU in which Future Gohan admits he can't defeat the androids by himself, stays back, survives, and travels to the past instead of Trunks, because that way Trunks won't have to lie about his parents, and the sight of a banged up scarred Gohan will really drive home the point about "hey those androids are really going to fuck y'all up".

Including really damm emotional scenes like Ft Gohan & Piccolo and stuff.
