"Departure" ~ Into The Beyond ~

From inside the old Victorian-era home, the view from a second floor window framed an empty field where the village once upon a time was astir with the shadows of the butcher, the baker, the farrier, and well, the undertaker. The home had always served as a respite for the wayward passing through the night. Scholars, visionaries, peddlers, and gypsies, all had been drawn to the village, all with their own insights and offerings for the villagers future well being, knowing too that the village had been chosen by a higher presence for passage into the beyond, and a new world.

Through that open window of the empty home revealed the pleasant scents of lilacs and assorted wild flowers mixed with the airiness of the bay, where the lighthouse once stood through the night, serving as a beacon for those travelers and traders. The events of that fateful night a hundred years ago had never been recorded in the history books ~ that magical portal of time ~ when the villagers walked away under a torch filled night onto the mighty and massive ship that had arrived just after midnight at eight minutes past, and appeared to be from somewhere beyond with its heavy wooden hull and metallic-like helm, with tattered sails of voyages across the seas from a time long ago, but with engines, rocket ports, cockpit bubbles, gunner sights, and signal lights like something from beyond their horizon. The villagers, aware they would never be returning, had gathered up to await the mystical vessel of time-passage as they were expecting its arrival. Many were holding fashioned torches made from oil soaked cloth wrapped around cut tree branches, while others held their babies and guided their children along, leaving all their belongings behind, as they formed lines to assemble onto the gangways, leading them to the companionways, and onto the various decks of the anachronistic vessel. It was a ceremonious departure, carried out in ritual silence, and with an internal rhythm shared by all.

As the futuristic yet archaic craft turned toward the horizon and began to disappear into the night, the glow from the makeshift torches faded into the calm of a blackened seafaring night,  into a time yet to be, never to return again. Into the greatest mysterious portal of time passage ever known to man ~ the highest point on the celestial sphere, at the zenith to the heavens ~ beyond the magnetic pole of the north, where the gateway to a new world awaited them.

The villagers had been chosen for a voyage into the beyond, to a new world due to their diversity ~ butcher, farmer, baker, mid-wives, farrier, seamstress, tailor, and undertaker ~ and their purity because they had lived  throughout the years in the same traditional ways that generations before them had been brought up and without the interruption of modern technology, the carnival antics of politics, and the targeted marketing and programming that the rest of the world had been indoctrinated with. The small village was located far away from the modern world in a enchanted place where time had stood still ~ undocumented in recorded history ~ away from the influences and dependencies that plagued and controlled those trapped in the illusion of modern civilization. In the new world, the villagers would once again be the very fabric of life, and a foundation for those lives yet to be.  

The village would eerily remain afterward, with the sounds of water occasionally lapping at the rocks where once stood the lighthouse. As the seasons would come and go, what had been left of the village deteriorated and fell into disrepair. The land underneath withered as the village crumbled, and would later be swept away with the tides, leaving but a few remnants scattered and buried, left to be discovered one day a hundred years later.

Mariejois: Celestial Dragon and when there’s a Reverie there’s gonna be a lot of snobby royals she has to protect. Should I bring the list. And the same goes to God Valley.

Marine Headquarters: Sea Serpent! Reader is almost ALWAAAAYS there because of strict rules, the reason why it’s not the same rank as Mariejois, it’s because of the few good marines there like Coby, Corazon, Fujitora and etc, but she’s always trapped there either at meetings or at her room that the Gorosei made for her. They won’t even let Sea Serpent! Reader have student of her own!

Enies Lobby: It bring bad memories especially the gate of justice, the place just shows how corrupt the world government and how they will do anything to keep anyone shut, the lengths they will go for no secrets to leak out.

Dressrosa: It’s a wonderful country with beautiful culture, dances, food and people but most of the “people” there are toys. Doflamimgo reassures to you that nothing wrong with the country even though you senses tells you otherwise. No matter how gorgeous the country is there’s a gut feeling that something is incredibly wrong

Wano: While at the gorgeous capital of Wano, resides or at Onigashima, everything you want will be at your knees (cuz ur tall teheheh). Everytime you wake up in your futon you’d be gifted with flowers that was hand picked by one of the Tobi Roppo or even King, Queen, Jack themselves. And when you eat glistening meat and tasty juice are prepared at your table with a sober Kaido, it’s a wonderful place he’s but the treatment of the people makes you feel guilty whenever you eat even one piece of meat. The pirate world is extremely harsh.

Egghead: You may be a history geek but you’re not one to deny anything that strives to be futuristic, the human mind or the mind of others is extraordinary. It’s a wonderful place that you must be extremely lucky to even step foot in it. Even though it’s a government land, Egghead gives Sea Serpent! Reader a lot of freedom. But the dark stories that King told about made Sea Serpent! Reader back off to Egghead island especially when Vegapunk was the one deducing the experiment and the pacifistas were the ones to fully show how bad it is to Sea Serpent! Reader’s eyes.

Totto Land: Land of a Yonko and the commanders or higher ups of the Big Mom are enchanted by you. People there are incredibly nice to you, at the castle of Big Mom, her younger children would always bother you always asking when are you gonna be called [Name] Charlotte, if you look around you can see the 3 sweet commanders having a big blush on their face, Katakuri raising his scarf while daydreaming the day of your wedding and when he as to put a ring on your finger and after that you bend over to kiss him on his lips, Smoothie turning her head around so her hair could block the blush adorning on her face, Cracker using the palm of his hands and secretly biting on it, trying his best not to scream that he’s still not married yet, all 3 are just imagining how your future kids will look like <3

Amazon Lily: Not only is this place made surrounded with your Sea King friends but it’s an island full of women! You never felt so comfortable whenever you’re there! Boa would daze at you as you munch at the feast she prepared but unlike Wano, the residents there aren’t being mistreated too much unlike Kaido.

Sabaody Island: Your good pal Raleighy and his wife- Shakky now resides there as commoners, late night talk with them with alcohol in your, Rayleigh and Shakky’s systems, such conversations are accompanied with laughs underneath the orange light, with Rayleigh’s voice slowly becomes much more deeper as he leans closer to you, Shakky’s hands slithering on your legs like the former Kuja princess she is, Shakky may or may not have put your glass with a much more stronger alcohol. Wait I’m getting carried away.

Baratie: The food are absolutely amazing there! The conversation with Zeff and the oceans are amazing too!

Skypiea: The Sky brings the ocean its natural blue hues and to touch the fluffy clouds were one of the many dreams little snake [Name] wanted to walk and when [Name] found out that there was indeed a sky island, she immediately went to work to how she can reach that island, and oh boy why she not disappointed. So if the sky is not the limit for adventures what is? Such question made Sea Serpent! Reader yearn for more adventures with Joyboy.

Zou and Fishmen Island: Both are close to her heart, Fishmen Island was made from her hands of course she has a deep relationship with the island, like a mother to her kid, the same thing goes to Zunesha that’s carrying Zou, [Name] likes to visit the minks from time to time, they even make a whole town feat whenever she comes to visit they know how valuable you are, the little minks are always on your side asking about your adventures which you joyfully tell. At the end of the day when every mink is asleep you would softly talk to Zunesha, both your conversation would be complied with the water splashing of each step Zunesha takes.

Logue Town: "The town of the beginning and the end" When Sea Serpent! Reader woke up there was this instinct to go to the place, and that’s when she met the future Pirate King - Gol D Roger.

Perfect Presence — Tenth Doctor

Summary: The Doctor is set on finding you the perfect Christmas present and he traverses time and space to do so, though maybe he really didn’t need to try so hard.

With all the swirling depths of time and space at his fingertips, the TARDIS hums with anticipation as the Doctor embarks on a quest to find the perfect Christmas present for you. The familiar wheezing sound echoes through the air, signaling the beginning of his search. He promised himself that he will not rest in his pursuit of a gift that will capture your heart, no matter how many tries it takes him to find just the right gift.

The Doctor's eyes sparkle with determination as he sets out, arriving at one of his favorite planets, known for their eclectic collections of rare and valuable objects. He navigates through the chaotic energy of the bustling alien market, many a trinket catching his eye, but none quite right. Vibrant colors and exotic scents surround him as vendors peddle unique baubles and artifacts from distant galaxies. His sonic buzzes, matching the buzz of his own anticipation, as he scans over the myriad of possibilities. The Doctor weaves through the crowds, searching for that one elusive item that will bring a smile to your face.

Turning up nothing, he decides to try somewhere and somewhen else. In a leap through time, the TARDIS materializes on the gas lit streets of Victorian London; another of his most favorite spots. He wanders for a while, recalling a shop that may have what he’s looking for. Finding it, one street over from where he could have sworn it to be, he explores the quaint shop filled with curious oddities. There, he discovers a pocket watch adorned with intricate engravings, a piece of history that might resonate with you and add a touch of timeless elegance to your collection, but then again, it didn’t quite feel like the right item.

Undeterred by the ticking clock, seeing as he could be back at your door a minute after he left, the Doctor propelled the TARDIS into the far future, landing on a planet where technology reigns supreme. In a bustling metropolis, he finds a device that translates thoughts into art, envisioning it as a canvas for your creativity. The hum of the cityscape fades as the Doctor imagines the endless possibilities of this unique gift, one that mirrors the boundless imagination of the universe. It was wondrous, surely, and he’d no doubt you’d appreciate it, but as cool as it was, it lacked any sort of sentimentality for him. Onto something else then, he thought.

Journeying through medieval castles, futuristic landscapes, and distant planets, the Doctor's quest continued, each locale offering new possibilities for the perfect present, but each coming up short in some way.

Finally, in a moment of quiet reflection amidst the celestial beauty of a distant galaxy, the Doctor discovers a rare, star shaped crystal, half hidden in pink sand. Its ethereal glow reflects the wonder of the cosmos, capturing the essence of his travels with you and the magic of Christmas. With a satisfied grin, the Doctor cradles the crystal in his hands, its radiance a testament to the extraordinary journey he undertook to find the ideal gift for you.

Returning to the TARDIS, the star-shaped crystal held securely, the Doctor anticipates the joy in your eyes as you unwrap this extraordinary present he’d chosen with care and love. The TARDIS dematerializes, leaving behind a trail of stardust as it hurtles back through space and time, all the way back to you on Christmas morning.

You’re barely awake when he knocks on your door, not having checked the time, as he was too excited to bestow upon you his perfect gift. His big, goofy grin filled your tired vision as you greeted him at the door.

"Merry Christmas," he beams, pausing just long enough to reach into his coat and pull out the crystal. "This is for you, a little piece of the universe I thought you might like."

You watched the crystal sparkle in the morning light, reflecting the pure joy in his eyes. As you take the gift, he leans against the doorframe, eager to share the tale of his journey in finding it.

“It’s beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it. But Doctor,” you began, and in that fraction of a second his smile faltered, briefly thinking that it had been the wrong gift after all. “All I really needed this Christmas was to spend it with you.” His smile returned and you invited him inside. “Now tell me how you went about finding this.”
