Rewatching Transformers G1 and I fricking love these ‘bots Beachcomber, Perceptor and the two gay architects Grapple and Hoist
For an toy-based 80s cartoon that’s pretty low on characterisation, they sure did give the secondary robots plenty of fun quirks and even have episodes in the limelight

Grapple comes home and finds a Decepticon (my OC Catalyst) sitting in his chair, reading secret blueprints, claims to be a fan, won't leave. Art by the amazing @mostly-him

Hello again! :D
I've come back to offer you another batch of barely recognisable colourful blobs, specifically ones selected from the G1 cartoon
In order of appearance, we have:
Brawn, Windcharger, Skyfire/Jetfire, Bumblebee, Jazz, Prowl, Spike, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, Rumble, Hoist, and Grapple
Also I'm not entirely sure if you'd allow it, but I've decided to include some hilariously off-model Gobots in the mix as a little self indulgent bonus:
In order of these guy's appearance, we have:
Smallfoot, Turbo, Scooter, and Crasher
(Fun fact: The first three Gobot pictures were all taken from the same shot, and the other two were from the same episode as that shot as well. The episode Ring Of Fire had a whole host of off-model moments jhgfdghjh)
Wow, that's so many! I'm gonna get lazy in the tags for this one. Thanks for sharing your collection!
I know pretty much nothing about Gobots, but it's interesting to have them on the blog! Valid too, since (if I remember correctly) they're Hasbro-owned car robots

Weird and Interesting Details from the Dreamwave-era Profiles
These are also extra fun because sometimes it's the characters talking about other characters, a bit like the bios in TFA's Allspark Almanac.
Kup absolutely DESTROYS Hot Rod! Who knew the old man was a backstabber?! XD
The language used is somewhat ableist, but Wreck-Gar seems to be confirmed to have ADHD:
Poor Scavenger is really going through it. At least Scrapper apparently thinks he's cute:
Prowl = what would happen if you crossed Soundwave with Shockwave. Actually, this seems to be based on the Marvel comics incarnation, which I'm a fan of:
Cliffjumper accuses Mirage of classist beliefs, and it seems supported by the fact that Grapple and Hoist built Mirage an entire hunting lodge pre-War?
Speaking of Grapple and Hoist, I'm just including Grapple's take on Hoist because it's so sweet:
Finally, absolutely love the skit that makes up Wheeljack's "weaknesses" section:
