I hate Zoe (from mlb), her entire character feels like it is being better than chole and let's not get started on how she feels very mary-sue-ish but recently it feels like the writers are trying so hard to make the fandom like her, I hate Zoe due to the very lack of characterization she has and the lack of work that writers put into her but still expect us to like her, there is no excuse for the lazy characterization of Zoe in the show, she had potential as a concept but the writers failed

Although I have not associated with the MLB fandom for some time, I do remember posts asking for people to give Zoe a chance every now and then, and that she's not a 'replacement of Chloe'.

The sad truth is that she does have potential if her character arc is drawn out more, but by resolving her conflict in one episode, and having her fulfill her goal of being an actress in the second one she's featured in, as long as giving her a miraculous at the same time, really defeats the efforts the writers put to have her replace Chloe.

One way I felt like would be a great way for her arc to play out is for Zoe to be kind and friendly to everyone when she's first introduced, being a complete opposite of Chloe, but afterwards, it's revealed that it was all a facade.

I'm not suggesting an evil Zoe route, of course, because sometimes people put on a persona without realizing it. Just imagine Zoe living alone with Audrey, and hating how her mother acts and worrying that everyone would think she'll act the same way, and then coming to Paris to escape those expectations, only to find that Chloe too is an infamous bully.

So she acts overly nice to be accepted, ignoring her own feelings, because if that's the only way she can establish that she's her own person and not another Bourgeouis, than so be it. Eventually, her negative emotions would continue to build up until Zoe lashes out at someone, and she would think that she ruined everything, and that would be the perfect chance for Hawkmoth (Shadowmoth? Monarch? Whatever Gabigail is calling himself now) to akumatize her.

And it would tie in the themes of acting, wanting to be accepted, and being tied to expectations due to family background too!

Let me just tell ya I love dark vision! it is so nice! Screw magical darkness though...

Gnome cunning is so underrated it is actually crazy helpful! I have never played a subrace gnome... but I feel like I should experience a Rock Gnome at some point in time...

I threw myself straight into a new sewing project after Rhinebeck. I blame @gabigails and @samantha_guerin_design for sending me down a rabbit hole of how folks are storing their Electric Eel Nanos. There are a lot of folks using lunch boxes and quilted project bags, and it occured to me that I had bought a copy of @noodlehead531 's Maker's Tote pattern at Stitches United a while back. 80% of this bag came together over the course of the day, but I opted for some additional trin to hide my wobbly zipper stitching and to hand stitch the binding on instead of fighting with a stiff shape into my sewing machine. This is the larger size, but the smaller size would easily fit the Nano and accessories. I'll probably end up storing active drop spindle-ing in this bag, too, since it'll have the space.
