I like making lists and here are a few lists of some webcomics that have caught my eye over the years. Please feel free to add your own favorites!

Stray cat - Blue Twelve Studio - 2022 - Ginger tabby:

-Because they are from a wonderful game where you can meow

-Very clever, even if not accompanied by their friendly robot! Fast enough to outrun a lot of zurks! Brave enough to venture into dangerous places to try to open the city to reunite with their family! Can knock a chess game over, and curl up on the chest of a robot. Helps a robot grandma get what she needs to make a poncho for someone else.

-kitty faces the horrors and comes out alive. very good

-This is just a regular cat. The game is based on being a regular cat. I think that’s neat.

-This cat is the main character of the video game that they’re in and survived hell and back by traveling within a city where robots and zurks live.

[REDACTED] - CAPCOM - 2010 - Magic black cat:

-He is DEAD and has GHOST POWERS. He can TIME TRAVEL. He has a LOVING CAT DAD as his OWNER and the only family they have left is EACH OTHER. I would go into detail but that would involve spoiling the best mystery game ever written. You should play Ghost Trick. This stupid cat has not left my brain in months. He's haunting me. Which is fitting because he is a ghost. Did I mention he's a ghost cat what is cooler than a ghost cat.

-most special little guy in the world. hes HUGE spoilers for the game btw but um. yea <3

-Because [REDACTED] is the true Schroeder’s cat, he is both dead and alive at the same time and has really cool ghost powers. Also, he can’t read!

-If you haven’t played Ghost Trick, I tragically cannot tell you the spoilers, but this cat is sweet and determined and got a sad man through some rough times.

-I played the game on stream for my friend and they said he reminds them of their own dead cat bc they look alike. A vote for [REDACTED] is a vote for Riley!

Fat Cat - Square Enix - 2014 - Calico cat:

His Majesty - Larian Studios - 2023 - Sphynx cat:

-His Majesty is a pampered little kitty who lives in an inn in the middle of a cursed land he doesn’t care about. If you talk to him with speak with animals on he will say “hiss I say! Hiss!” And tell you to get out of his territory. You can tell him you’re here to admire his beauty and he will let you look at him and tell him he’s a beautiful cat. When the game first came out he was a hairless cat, which was apparently a mistake when making the game and he was given the appearance of another cat in the game instead of his own, so the game developers “fixed” it in a patch and made him furry. This sparked outrage in the fan community and everyone was demanding that they “Shave His Majesty”. A few days later they released a hotfix to shave his majesty and return him to his glorious furless self. 

-he is a very sweet boy

Judge - Unproductive Fun Time - 2008 - White cat:

-Idk his teeth fucked up tho “I am meowing at my lung’s fullest. I would even argue that the voice that reverberates back to me is the voice of someone I know… have you seen my dear brother?”

-adding some extra propaganda for the judge [non-spoiler]

-He speaks like you gave someone thesaurus for the first time ("Nevertheless, I will introduce myself. I am the Judge, and I am aching to know your name, dear elusory interlocator."

-in some parts of the game it can be read as him making fun of the batter ("Oh, so you can read?" - in response to the batter reading aloud the ad for cat food he was admiring)

-his real name is Pablo

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE ENTIRE GAME-- BE WARNED

-His only family is his brother, who he watched as a bird came out of his mouth and revealed his brother was long dead and the bird was puppeteering his corpse around. While you fight the bird the only thing he can say is calling out his brothers name.

-after you kill the bird he stays at the rooftop where it happened and calls out his brothers name (with real sad cat meows) and says the meowing at his lungs fullest line in the original post. he isnt seen again until the very end of the game

-At the end of the game he reappears to berate you (the player) for helping the batter kill eveyone else in the world, and you can choose to side with him and kill the batter. All his special attacks are named after neck, spine, and brain injurys (Anyurysm rupture, Staggering sclerosis, ect)

-with your help he can easily kill the batter with three of his special attacks.

-after you kill the batter he is seen roaming the now empty world, seeming being one of three(?) people left in existance

-ALSO The Judge was most likely the inspiration for SANS HIMSELF,

since undertale is highly inspired by OFF and both characters have a part in the game where they judge the players actions, and weigh their morality.

a) They are cute. They make our stoic main boy Link SMILE every time he holds one. They meow.

b) They turn into demonic little predators at night. Almost gave me a heart attack first time I was going around Skyloft.

c) They are immortal. Try kill them? They just run off without any real injury. Try throw them into the void? No problem, they can fly with their ears. Try drown them? They can swim. Literally indestructible demonic cat creatures. I love them.

-silly little low-poly beast, modeled after one of the developer's cats :3 she's originally found in the developer museum and can then be spawned in other levels. she's immune to Everything and can fight things for you. i love her

-An invincible, pettable, lovingly-modeled summon added to fps ULTRAKILL as an easter egg. When summoned, she will follow the killing machine player character through hell and attack their enemies. Her model is extremely charming, and textured with actual pictures of her namesake, one of the devs' irl cat.
