(Not original picture) I miss old YouTube and watching marks play through of CoF for the first time. Since it’s getting popular again I decided to rewatch it and holy shit I miss when editing was rarely a thing, it’s so much more raw I love it.
Also I never really grew up being able to play the games so now I have a little money I was using an old laptop I found laying around (when it was purchased it came with an i3 and windows 7, now updated to windows 10 now but still runs super slow) and I attended to play CoF after around 3 hours of updates and it’s laggy beyond repair despite resolution being down a ton so I need to buy a new laptop stat.
If anyone has any recommendations for a reasonably priced laptop I can use for gaming pls lmk :,)

For my birthday, my brother gave me his gaming laptop. I, of course, got Skyrim. This is me now that I have access to console commands and better mods.

do any of you out there have good gaming laptop recommendations... in a perfect world id be getting a desktop but my life has to be very portable for the forseeable future so laptop it is
i'd like to keep it under 1k if possible but I can splurge if it's a good deal, and I'd like to be able to play games, run photoshop, and hopefully also run blender (not all at the same time) on it.
thank you!

Anyone have an Acer Nitro 17 (more specs below) and play Fallout? I'm strongly considering this model but I don't want a shitty gaming experience. I'd likely be playing FO3, FNV & FO4 mostly. Not sure if I'll play FO76 but definitely looking for opinions on the PC game play for that one as well.

Anyone tech savvy here? I bought Dragon Age Origins on Steam. The game is trying to use my laptop's integrated display adapter and will not use my RTX 3060 unless I disable the integrated adapter. I disabled it, but now I can't use the nightlight feature to decrease the blue light and I can't even decrease the brightness. I enabled it again so I could turn those on, but now I'm back to where I started and can't play Dragon Age. Anyone know what to do?

gamers i need some advice and help. the left side hinge of my gaming laptop decided to snap so now i cant close it without the screen beginning to bend (trust me i tried)
do you all think i should try and get it repaired, or finally make the switch to a PC instead of a laptop? i live in the middle of nowhere so theres no real computer repair places up here, and i have the money for at least a half decent pc to replace it but i dont know what to do. responses encouraged

From what I can tell my laptop might be capable of running nier automata… a game I’ve been wanting to play for f**king AGES… but idk where to start. When I looked on steam there were 4 options…
Tagging the following people in hopes of a reblog (maybe 👉👈) so that peeps that know about Nier automata can vote: @sir-so-random @tickles-tea @lavenderboneswrites @nightyelfy @escapingreality101 @zephyrwrites @greta-and-grace @fcknhomos @the-man-who-loved-major-kusanagi

Well, my laptop's one key is officially broken and so I'm just using the numlock's 1 key and Free Virtual Keyboard for the exclamation mark /srs
My birthday is coming up too and so I might buy a monitor, a MI cord and keyboard rather than paying $650 AUD just to get the keyboard fixed 💀.
(Or was it $660??? idk).
So, if you guys wanna help get my laptop fixed or the funds to get the things I need, feel free too donate on Ko-FI.
However, I'll be transparent if I either used the money to either get it fixed or replaced.. so don't worry ^^" /gen
And no, I ain't getting a new gaming laptop, that will cost me like another $1000 :/
Any amount is helpful, even if it's just $2 USD
Also putting this here because I don't wanna accept cash from someone who supports these:
