In my little headcanon timeline Mimi and Evil Morty met when, at the time, Miami Morty was a stray Morty in Mortyville, I think this place is fertile ground for young minds to grow hatred against this system builts by Ricks and i think some if not most of the Mortys (Morties?) living there share Evil Morty’s resentment against Ricks and the CFC as a symbol of their need to control everything

I like to believe they first shared their rage against the system together and without really noticing it, it became surprisingly pleasing to spend time around the other. Evil Morty assumed at first Mimi would be nothing but a greedy airhead ready to dog pile on anyone she didn’t like (which he does let’s be real but not nearly as much as he’d expect) and it was kind of the same thing for Mimi whose first impression of Evil Morty was a cold hearted bastard closer to a Rick’s reflection than a Morty/person of his own.
