When you're a Novel reader, animation adaptation often gives you heartbreak.

I tried. I have tried my best. I've tried several times since the first airing. To watch and enjoy MDZS Season 3 like I enjoyed the 1st Season.

But I can't help myself from complaining over the roundabout timeline, the mixing and replacing of characters' roles and plot points (even the passerby role).

It's just...suffocating.

With so much content but only dozens of episodes available MDZS Season 3 has to avoid so many plot points---those bits which despite their small parts but are meaningful and significant to the whole premise---and instead offer dramatic cliche scenes to give more role and drama to the characters to maintain its "entertainment". Giving the fans, a "cheap, dramatic, and mainstream-fanservice", which the story actually didn't need at all, if only they could present the content more truthfully.

On one hand, I feel so annoyed and angry.

On the other hand, I can only be helpless and powerless because I know, Art and literature after all is included in "Business". And in Business, there are a lot of "considerations" to pay attention to.

So, hoping to get a pure presentation of "entertainment" without the mixing of "Business interest" is hard...and even, impossible.

How I wish I could erase my memory of reading MDZS Novel, and then go watch the Donghua without being judgmental, lol. I envy those who haven't read the novel, and could ignorantly be squealing over the "fanservice contents".
