Bajaj Bajuri: Tawa Getir Rakyat Kecil

Pekan lalu saya dan kawan-kawan di GeekInOut Podcast mencoba tetap membuat konten meskipun kami terpisah jarak. Dan kedepannya sampai wabah ini berakhirpun demikian. hehe Nah, pekan lalu itu kami membahas apa-apa saja yang kami lakukan dalam rangka menghilangkan kejenuhan selama pengasingan di tempat masing-masing. Kebetulan saya giliran pertama dan dari awal-awal masa-masa pengasingan ini saya lagi banyak nonton film-film Indonesia dari layanan streaming lokal (kebetulan beberapa memang lagi menggratiskan juga jadi ya sekalian. Hehe)

Salah satu yang paling menarik buat saya adalah sitkom “Bajaj Bajuri” yg dulu tayang di Trans TV. Ketika sedang mencari tontonan di salah satu layanan streaming lokal, saya menemukan series ini dan tertarik untuk menontonnya. Tidak banyak yang saya ingat dari series ini selain beberapa karakter yang sangat ikonik seperti Bang Bajuri sendiri, Oneng (istrinya yang agak lemot), Emak (mertua bang juri yang mata duitan), dan Ucup (tetangga bang Bajuri yang selalu pakai kaos bola. Waktu saya kecil dulu, saya tidak begitu paham komedi-komedi yang tersaji dari sitkom ini. Tapi ketika kemarin saya tonton lagi, saya benar-benar terpingkal dan salut sama para pemain dan orang-orang yg membuat sitkom ini.

Ternyata memang banyak konten di sitkom ini yang ditujukan untuk orang dewasa. Selain soal hubungan suami istri dan rumah tangga, komedi-komedi soal politik dan sosialnya juga cukup berat karena mengandung kritik yang nyelekit. Haha Tersirat memang, tapi ketika direnungkan cukup membuat terhenyak.

Saya masih berkutat di episode belasan dari duapuluhan episode yang tersedia. Saya masih siap untuk dibuat tertawa dan terhenyak lagi oleh sitkom yang hadir di masa kecil saya ini. Terima kasih, Bang Juri!
