Graphic Novel com Roteiro de Joe Hill e Arte de Gabriel Rodriguez, contém 156 páginas e compila os capítulos 7-9 originalmente publicados em Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft de 2014 pela Idea and DesignWorks e IDW Publishing e em 2017 e 2020 pela Editora Novo Século sobre o selo Geektopia. . . Locke & Key é daquelas leitura que te prende facilmente, principalmente se você gostar de uma trama bem construída sobre eventos de passado e presente com suspense, fantasia e uma boa dose de violência (A série da Netflix é até parecida em alguns aspectos aqui, porém não tem um pingo de violência e do drama aqui apresentados) traz magia com laços de uma família o tempo todo tendo que superar os traumas do passado trágico. . . Somos introduzidos a Família Locke e que após eventos catastróficos, voltam a mansão chamada de "Keyhouse" onde tentam recomeçar e superar a dor e os traumas vividos, pais legal é a convivência, os diálogos estão muito bons, bem encaixadas, essa alocação entre o que passou e que se passa mostra uma boa sincronia de enredo e quando começa a ser revelados os primeiros segredos pelas mãos do jovem Bode (temos seus irmãos: Tyler e Kinsey a sua mãe: Nina) daí começa também os problemas e o passado vira bater a porta da família Locke novamente, mas tem algo maligno por trás disso eco poço do suposto "eco" é o início disso tudo! . . Com eventos entre passado e presente, as desconfianças do Sr.Ridgeway o levam a um desfecho em que todos vejam como um suposto "suicídio" onde a trama toda hora em torno do misterioso Zack Wells, mas o grande destaque é a descoberta e uso da chave mental e de como ela é bizarra e intrigante, podendo tirar coisas da cabeça ou simplesmente acrescentar algo queira aprender rs e é aí aí a coisa fica realmente interessante, os jogos Mentais começam pra valer e de bônus teremos mais sobre a origem da Dodge e do poço.... “...this is exactly the closest thing to what we could ever hope from a Transformers live action film, thus far.”

It was a very human story in the best possible way. Hailey Steinfeld, that little girl from True Grit. What an amazing actress. We’re blown away by her performance carrying this film as Charlie. This is the best live action Transformers movie yet, and just a great movie overall. Don’t know what it took for Michael Bay to let go of the directing reigns, but we are so glad he did and hope he continues to do so, no offense to the man. He has some great work.Transformers, just ain’t one of them. 

We absolutely loved it, and though it was a very human story with our  protagonist taking up most of the screen, Bumblebee was front and center through and through, though we got great character development from Charlie and her family. By the way, if you are a big fan or grew up on the classic 80s Transformers animated series, you are most definite going to love their depiction in this film. Allot of them do come out at a certain point of the movie, no spoilers, but let’s just say they look just like they were taken out straight from the small screen.

We believe this is exactly the closest thing to what we could ever hope from a Transformers live action film, thus far. The balance between Transformers and human screen time was perfect. This is a fresh start and reset to this franchise, and we hope is telling of what is to come from the series moving forward, cause if this is indeed the route they are going to take from now on, then we cannot wait, we cannot wait to see what’s in store for this franchise moving onward.

This film gives you a great sense of hope. Its about friendship. Its very empowering for people that are going through the thick of it, a rough patch, a tough time, mental and emotion agony and frustration. It was about true friendship, loyalty and Charlie finds that in Bumblebee. The acting was spectacular overall. Why John Cena himself was quite the serviceable actor, who we’ve noticed gets better with each and every film he comes out in. But man, that Hailey Steinfeld…what a STAR. Just thinking about some of the emotional beats in this film will have you tearing up. That is a testament to her talent and prowess as an artist. Surprisingly enough, this is a very heartfelt and uplifting movie that shared some similar notes to some of our favorite indie films. It was a very personal story, a beautiful story that had us reflecting and pondering. With this, hopefully gone are the days of those close ups on girls’ butts, and silly but clever ads we dreaded in past Transformers’ movies, bringing on a welcomed and much needed evolution to the franchise.

Graphic Novel com Roteiro de Joe Hill e Arte de Gabriel Rodriguez, contém 158 páginas e compila os capítulos 14- 18 originalmente publicados em Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft de 2014 pela Idea and DesignWorks e IDW Publishing e em 2018 e 2021 pela Editora Novo Século sobre o selo Geektopia. . . Locke & Key é daquelas leituras que te prende facilmente, principalmente se você gostar de uma trama bem construída sobre eventos de passado e presente com suspense, fantasia e uma boa dose de violência (A série da Netflix é até parecida em alguns aspectos aqui, porém não retrata tanto da violência e do drama aqui apresentados, está para lançar a 2° temporada) traz magia com laços de uma família que o tempo todo tem que superar os traumas de um passado trágico. . . Os eventos aqui chegam aos seus momentos de muitas revelações e aqui nós capítulos seguintes tem bastante violência banhada com sangue, Lucas Caravaggio na pele de Zack Wells continua agindo praticamente sem ser descoberto em busca da chave Ômega, mas isso acaba neste volume, claro não darei spoilers sobre isso e mais para não estragar a experiência do leitor, mas te garanto que as chaves novas aqui apresentadas são bem interessantes e o desfecho que se encaminha mostra o quanto a obra é bem amarrada que te prende do início ao fim, os desenhos estão mais insanos aqui e trazem um impacto visual na cenas em que temos sangue (que é pouco) com muita propriedade e casam bem com os quadros de ação, tem seus momentos de diálogos um pouco fora da caixa é verdade e mesmo assim não deixa o ritmo da história diminuir, agora só esperar pelo último volume dessa sensacional saga a princípio denominada: Engrenagens! Geektopia on ao3 asked for Bloom/Sky sharing a bed.  Setting: end of s2-era after Darkar, the Trix, and Dark!Bloom are defeated, and Bloom has a nightmare about the things Dark!Bloom made her do.

Even though the sun had gone down hours ago, the night air still held the bite of the day’s heat, reminding any creature still wandering around that summer was almost upon them.  It was not this that had sweat beading at Bloom’s temples however, as she crept through the front gates of Red Fountain.  Nor was it the possibility of getting caught, but rather it was the lingering effect of the nightmare she’d just woken from.

Flashes of the dream dashed across Bloom’s mind; a high cruel laugh, clawed nails that left red scratches in their wake, a monster that wore her face and spoke in her voice as it tormented her friends.  Bloom shuddered and hurried on, ducking around a corner to avoid a patrolling teacher, and hurrying towards the wing that she knew held the student dorms.

The front door to the guy’s dorm twisted easily in her grasp, and she paused only to glance covertly up and down the hallway before slipping inside.  Bloom held her breath as she padded across the common area and approached the door to Sky and Brandon’s room.  Her eyes immediately went to the latter’s bed as she stepped through the doorway, but the brunette slept on, not even stirring as she inched towards the other side of the room.

“Bloom?”

She winced and bit her lip as she glanced at Sky.  The blonde had pulled himself up on one elbow and was rubbing at his eyes like he wasn’t completely sure that she was really there.

“Hey,” she murmured, stepping closer.  “How are you?”

Sky frowned and ignored the question.  “Are you okay?”

Bloom shivered despite the heat and rubbed subconsciously at her arms.  “Yeah, I- I’m fine.”

Sky reached up and took her hand, tangling their fingers together.  “Bloom,” he said, squeezing gently.  “ Are you okay?”

Bloom forced herself to smile, but she could feel it wavering.  “Just a nightmare.  It was nothing.”

Sky looked at her for a long moment, still blinking a little blearily.  Then he wriggled over on the bed and pulled back the covers, gesturing for her to join him.  Bloom shifted her weight, debating for only a moment, before climbing in.  The bed was narrow but they made it work, both lying on their sides facing each other, not touching anywhere except for where Sky still held her hand, stroking the skin absently with his thumb.

“Better?” he asked.

Bloom nodded, already feeling the tension bleed out of her, lulled by Sky’s presence.  Sleep was already fast approaching once more and she had a feeling that this time it would be much more peaceful.

I know MidIsle con is coming up pretty soon so their applications closed a WHILE ago lmao. But I still need to check up on GeekTopia and Retro Gaming Expo to see what the situation is with those. But those are the ones I would most likely table at in the future!

I also will for sure be at AniRevo next year too, because my friend that I tabled with this year also bought a table for next year and asked me to join her again :) so for sure that one and I’ll give updates on any others
