Doing spooky activities with total drama characters!
It's spooky season! ^=^
Dj!
Horror movies?
Hahahahah. No ♡
You both stay in and cuddle while watching the Simpsons Halloween specials while eating candy.
You also wear matching halloween pajamas!
The moon has long been in the sky this Halloween, younger trick or treaters had already gone home and the older ones which stayed were met by the cold autumn breeze. But bundled up in soft throw blankets, wrapped in each other's arms as the fire roars, is you and Dj. An old episode plays, you feel your eyelids grow heavy, you rest your head against DJ's shoulder as you slowly drift off to sleep.
Geoff.
You can probably already guess,
Of course you're both going to a Halloween party, if not throwing one yourselves!
Matching costumes!! This year you're the grim reaper and a ghost! Geoff is the ghost & you're the reaper ofc!
Laughter, music, and a cheerful energy paints the party. The flashing lights reflect in his blue eyes, he twirls you as the monster mash booms on the speakers. The two of you party all night, for a holiday that's supposed to be scary, it made such joyful memories.
Izzy!
You both scare the daylights out of trick or treaters.
Your job was to stand on the porch with the candy bowl, candy bowl which is filled with fun sized candy bars disguised as full sized ones.
Izzy's idea of course.
Meanwhile Izzy would hide in the bushes in her 'franken-izzy' costume waiting to jump out at trick or treaters.
You successfully made six kids, three teenagers, and one adult man cry. Congrats?
From your peripheral vision you can see a child in the horizon approaching, you stand in position on the porch. The child, dressed like a minion, steps onto the porch. Per Izzy's instructions you hand them the 'full sized' candy bar. They smile happily and thank you and then.... "BOOOO!!" Izzy yells out at the child. After causing the child to subsequently drop their candy, earning a glare from the child's parents, Izzy practically dies of laughter while holding onto your shoulder.
Scott.
Hehehahaha, he took you a grave yard.
Yep.
A grave yard.
The scheme is that you'll get so scared you'll fall into his arms.
.. Let's just say that doesn't go as planned.
The moon shines brightly down upon you and Scott walking hand in hand in this abandoned graveyard. Boredom creeping over you, an idea dawns. Holding back giggles, you loudly let out a piercing howl like scream, causing Scott to quickly jump and whip his head back towards you. He glares at you and let's go of your hand when he realizes you're fine, he continues the pace of walking you were formerly at, you quickly chase after him and grab his hand, giggling with murmurs of apologies.
Area fifty~one alien Cody~Clone from S3 EP15 & briefly S5 EP7!
Breaking him out of area 51 for the holiday wasn't as difficult as you would think!
After convincing the guards you were a trick or treater, they left to go grab something to give you, then you simply walked to where he was being held and busted him out.
Since he had been in a government facility for years, he's never seen a scary movie before! Oh no!
So you decided to take him to the local AMC and see the latest horror movie.
You bought him popcorn and a slushie.
The two of you sat in your seats, interlocking your hands as their movie starts. The first jump scare happens and instinctively, you grip his hand tighter. Only to hear him let out a whaling scream. You turn towards him and your face pales as your boyfriend's arm turn completely into green goop.
Bridgette!
You both go pumpkin carving!
She carves a sailboat meanwhile you carve a classic jack o' lantern.
More matching costumes!! She dresses as a mermaid meanwhile you're a prince/princess!
The smell of pumpkin surrounds the kitchen you are both sat on the floor of, you look up from carving your pumpkin to see Bridgette dead focus on carving the perfect pumpkin, to the point she doesn't notice the pumpkin guts on her cheek. Giggling to yourself you wait for the next time she's turning her pumpkin around to scoot closer to her. You wipe the pumpkin guts off of her cheek, she turns her attention towards you for a brief second and you take the opportunity to sweetly kiss her cheek. Successfully catching her off gaurd.

~ Sanctuary ~ Duncan (TDI)
Tumblr media
Summary: You and Duncan are childhood friends. After Duncan leaves for the show he got cast on, Total Drama Island, all the both of you do is count the days until he gets home.
Content: Fluff, you patiently waiting for Duncan to come home, Duncan using his love for you as his coping mechanism for getting through the show.
A/N: I listened to Sanctuary by Joji the entire time I was writing this. Just a bit of childhood friends to lovers fluff.
______________________________________________________________
It was summertime. Five year old Duncan was currently chasing a five-year-old (Y/N) through the park. The sun was shining, Duncan could barely hear the birds whistling and cars driving by over the wind rushing through his ears as he ran as fast as he could after you. “TAG! You’re it!” He screamed as he finally got close enough to slap your back lightly. He watched you turn around before he took off sprinting the other direction. You were getting closer, and closer, until your little hand began reaching for his arm. You were so close to touching him, just a little further and-
He felt a slight poking sensation on his butt, then fully woke up when he felt something poke him in the nose. He grabbed whatever was poking him before standing up and snapping it in half. It was a stick. The other members of his team were using a stick to wake him up. He was more than a little irritated, as not only had he warned them not to wake him, but they also used a stick and poked him instead of just shaking him or yelling or literally anything else. On top of that, they interrupted a dream of a fond memory he has of when you two were children. It was the day you two had met. As he demanded an explanation and then proceeded to teach his team how to win dodgeball, you stayed in the back of his mind. He wondered if you were watching him right now.
~
You watched as Duncan led his team to victory in the dodgeball tournament, this episode’s event. You laughed quietly to yourself at the fact that he managed to turn the tournament into a game of one-sided prison dodgeball. You felt slightly bad watching the other team get demolished, but you were happy for Duncan for winning that episode. As it ended and you turned your TV off, you bid your parents goodbye as you grabbed your things and headed to your room. As happy as you were that Duncan was offered such a big opportunity like this, you also felt lonely. It felt a little selfish, but you missed Duncan a lot. He was basically the only person you talked to, but you tried to keep yourself occupied by talking to and hanging out with your other school friends. You just wished you could communicate with him and see how he was doing. The show he was on looked a little brutal, and you couldn’t help but worry about his well-being.
~
~
~
This place was starting to get to Duncan. He didn’t show it outwardly, but it was starting to drain him and he felt like he was going insane. He knew the viewers of Total Drama Island probably believed it was all for show, but this show was actually physically dangerous sometimes. The only thing that kept him sane and determined was counting down the days until he got to go home, to you. He sat on the steps of his cabin and watched as everyone mingled about since this was one of the rare moments the cameras weren’t stalking them and they got to hang out together freely. That was another thing that got on his nerves, the constant invasion of privacy. It was all stacking up and causing him way too much stress to be normal. Courtney walked over to him and asked if he was okay, but he shrugged her off, giving her the excuse of being tired and not in the mood to socialize. That was partly true, he only really wanted to socialize with you at the moment. He wondered what you were up to, how you were doing, what you had been doing since he’d left. He wished you were here with him. He then thought about his “relationship” with Courtney. The producers, directors, and Chris thought it would be a great idea, as it would bring in more publicity and spice things up, but Duncan found that he just could not make it real no matter what. However, he knew exactly why he couldn’t feel for Courtney romantically.
She couldn’t compare to you in his eyes. You were the one who held his affection, no one else.
~
You were sitting in bed, watching YouTube on your laptop. You were having trouble paying attention though, as your mind wandered to Duncan again. The episodes of Total Drama Island were getting more and more shocking and dangerous, and it made you wonder just how much of it was fake. Surely they wouldn’t knowingly endanger several minors to this degree, right? You were just glad that Duncan has made it this far unscathed. It reminded you of when he’d get into fights or hurt himself doing something stupid and you’d be there to patch him up, like always. The distance and inability to contact him was starting to weigh on you a little. You really missed him, but at least you got to see him and hear him talk, even if it was through a TV screen. You were grateful for this, as he wasn’t afforded the same luxury with you.
~
~
~
Duncan laid curled on his bunk, one of your hoodies tucked into his chest. He’d made sure everyone else was asleep before bringing it out, he didn’t want anyone else to get a hold of it, much less know about it. They had done the “Phobia Factor” episode today and it took a lot out of him mentally. Initially, he was scared stiff at the mere idea of hugging a Celine Dion standee, but when he got up to it, memories of you and your comfort gave him the courage to go through with it. Before he hugged it, he just remembered the times when he’d freak out if you two passed one when you were out together, and you would tease him for it. However, when the nightmares would come the night after you always comforted him through them, not a hint of teasing or judgment to be found. He breathed in the smell of your hoodie, which was lavender laundry detergent. The moonlight was shining through the window, hitting the object in his hand perfectly and giving him full visibility to it. It was a locket, to which you had a matching one, with a photo of you in it. As time went on, he felt as though this show was as bad as juvie, with no contact with you. He was grateful he was able to bring your hoodie and the locket this time, since he couldn’t have them in juvie. As he considered it, he’d probably want the items here instead as sometimes this place felt more traumatizing than juvie. The lavender scent from your hoodie lulled him to sleep that night, unaware of someone who happened to catch a glimpse of what he had been holding.
~
You were struggling to sleep that night. You kept reminiscing on memories of you and Duncan. They were brought up when you watched the most recent episode of TDI. The fact that Duncan actually admitted to his fear of Celine Dion music store standees and had to hug one was hilarious to you. You remembered all the times he would jump when you would pass them, and then you would remember the many nights you had comforted him after a nightmare about the stupid things. It may be a silly fear, but you never looked down on him for it. It was just a part of who he was, and you took it in stride along with everything else. It didn’t change your perception of him, he was still the same guy you loved with all your heart. You then began to wonder about the romance he seemed to have with Courtney. You wondered if it was just some random romance for publicity or if it was real. It looked real enough, but something felt off. Maybe you just knew Duncan too well and could tell when he was acting or wasn’t being sincere about something. You hugged your plushie to your chest, trying to ground yourself and distract your mind from the topic. As you hugged it, you thought about how you got it. It was a plushie Duncan had won you at a carnival a couple of years ago. It was cheesy, just a stuffed rabbit, but it was special. It was the first thing he’d ever gotten you. Whenever you had to be separated from him for a while, or even if the smell would just start to fade, he’d spray his cologne onto it. It was subtle, but it smelt like him. Everything about him smelt like it; his room, his clothes, even his shampoo and conditioner came in the same scent, but it was his and it comforted you. You reached over and opened your matching locket to see the photo you had taken of him one day when he wasn’t paying attention. You fell asleep with the locket still clutched in your hand, which your parent took and put back on your nightstand before turning the lights off when they came to check on you after seeing your light still on.

Harold, DJ, Geoff, and Owen snuck into the Killer Bass cabin after seeing Duncan walk into the cafeteria hall. They dug around Duncan’s bunk for a moment before DJ pulled out a plain black hoodie. “It smells like lavender,” he informed the others as they gathered around to look at it. Harold then brought up the point, “I mean it’s just a plain black hoodie but I don’t think he’s the kind of guy to use lavender laundry detergent, and it’s weird that we’ve never seen him wear it,” the other boys murmuring in agreement and confusion, wondering why Duncan would have such an item and not wear it. “Look guys! Check this out,” Geoff alerted before pulling a locket out of Duncan’s pillowcase. Owen opened the locket before gasping in surprise. The other boys gathered around and saw a photo of a person in it. They began to question who it was and if they were the reason Duncan wouldn’t pursue Courtney romantically outside of camera view. Then they heard the door slam open. Everyone screamed when they saw Duncan, who looked like he was about to explode. Needless to say, they didn’t attempt to pry into Duncan’s life and warned everyone else not to either, but they didn’t tell anyone what they saw. They felt it was personal and believed it should be Duncan's choice whether or not to talk about it.
~
You were watching the newest episode of TDI with your friends, just talking amongst yourselves when you weren’t glued to what was happening on screen. One of your friends asked you how you were doing with Duncan being gone for the show for so long, and you admitted that it had been a little difficult but you were grateful to them for helping you and keeping you busy. They began teasing you for having a crush on Duncan, saying you were “so in love”. You just rolled your eyes but you kept watching the TV as your eyes would stay glued to Duncan. One of your other friends then asked how you felt about his romance with Courtney, to which you responded saying it didn’t bother you that much seeing as how you weren’t dating and he could make his own choices. You didn’t admit that it did make you quite jealous, as you didn’t feel like it was your place to be.
~
~
~
It had been months since he started TDI. So many people had gotten sent home, and finally, it was his turn. He made it to fourth place, he wished he could’ve won but it’s better than nothing. He was more than a little annoyed when he was brought to Playa Des Losers after being eliminated and seeing how much better it was than Camp Wawanakwa. Despite that, he was trying to enjoy what little time he had there. Since he was fourth, only three more people needed to be eliminated before they all went home which wouldn’t be long. Courtney did approach him at one point, talking to him normally before asking if he wanted to make their romance on the show real. He turned her down politely, stating that he already had feelings for someone else back at home. She inquired if they were dating and if the kiss they shared on the show counted as cheating, but he told her you weren’t dating but he still did it just for the show. She understood, turning to walk over to Bridgette and Geoff sitting by the pool. His mind then swarmed with thoughts of you. He was still counting down the days until he could see you again. The thought of seeing you made his entire body buzz and fill with warmth.
~
~
~
Seeing Duncan get voted off did sadden you a little, but you were also growing more excited by the day. Duncan came in fourth, which meant the show would end soon. Soon, he’d be back home, back in your arms. You could hardly contain yourself as the days passed by and the show finally ended with Owen being the winner.
The day of his arrival was finally here and you couldn’t stop bouncing with excitement. You’d been anticipating this for so long. You watched as the plane landed, he’d texted you when the boat brought them back to the mainland telling you he got soaked and had to change before the flight. You laughed at that, and continued to wait patiently. Finally, the plane landed and the contestants began filing out. You stood there anxiously, searching for the green mohawk you’d missed. You noticed a few of the guys from the show do a double take when they saw you, but you figured they just had you confused with someone else. Finally, he came out of the loading dock and when he saw you both of you froze. You didn’t know what to do, you were so overwhelmed with excitement and shock and happiness that your brain stopped functioning for a minute. It seems like his did as well.
~
When Duncan exited the loading dock and caught sight of you, it felt like time froze. To him, no one else existed at the moment, and how could they when you were finally in front of him? After a minute he shook his head to clear his thoughts, vaguely taking notice of the other former contestants staring at the both of you, but he didn’t have time to process it as he lunged at you, engulfing you in a hug. You hugged him back just as tightly, jumping up as he reached you and wrapping your legs around his waist. His arms flew behind your back and pinned you to him, squeezing so tightly you would think he was trying to suffocate you but you didn’t mind. You two stayed like that for a while before releasing your hold on him and dropping back to the ground. You grabbed him by the hand and said, “Let’s go get your luggage and go home.” All he could do was nod dumbly like a lovesick puppy as he followed you to baggage claim.
~
~
~
You and Duncan were in your room, laying on your bed with you slightly leaning against stacked pillows and Duncan laying on your front with his head on your chest and your arms around his back. Duncan had music playing softly on your TV, and you were just basking in each other’s presence until Duncan let out a quiet hum. You nudged him to question what he was saying, and he brought his head up to rest his chin on your chest, looking you in the eyes.
“You know the thing with Courtney wasn’t real right? None of it was.” he questioned you.
You replied, “Of course I did. I know you well enough to know when something is off,” rolling your eyes at the end.
Instead of a snarky reply, Duncan simply looked at you thoughtfully. He looked like he was gathering his thoughts and figuring out what to say before opening his mouth. “The fake romance with her did make me realize I need to admit something I’ve been hiding for too long.”
“Oh? And what would that be?”
“That I’m in love with you. The distance and not being able to talk to you or see you didn’t help either.”
You stared at him wide-eyed, mouth slightly open with shock. He watched your reaction for a moment, before disappointment crossed his face and he went to speak again before you stopped him. “Before you say it, don’t be sorry because you didn’t make anything uncomfortable. I’ve been waiting to hear those words for so long.”
He looked shocked for just a second before soft warmth filled his eyes. “Well if I knew you’d been waiting I would’ve told you sooner. In that case, would you go out with me? And do me the honor of going on a date this weekend?”
“Absolutely, I’m all yours,” you smiled gently as you responded to him. He gave you a content look before laying back down onto your chest, beginning to doze off as happiness and love filled his body. He felt like he’d been waiting for this forever, been waiting to be here. He’d been waiting to come home, to you.
His sanctuary.

On one side of the mess hall, campers were happy and lively and talkative, enjoying their pathetic and gross excuse of a breakfast.
On the other side, the campers were miserable and tired, dark eyebags indenting themselves into their skulls.
Y/N was on the side with the horrible eyebags.
The last challenge left her awfully tired, her feeling like dying was better than what she and the other campers went through.
She felt kind of guilty, because if it wasn't for her, The Killer Bass would of won the challenge.
Nobody blamed her though, (except Courtney) understanding that if they were in that position, they would have also caved in.
Unfortunately, even after all those hours of staying awake, Y/N still didn't get any sleep, thanks to Harold's constant snoring the night before.
She could tell the rest of her team felt the same way.
Y/N and Duncan were the most miserable, them being the last two on the Killer Bass to stay awake.
Y/N's head was propped up on her hand, her eyes closed, trying to get some desperately needed sleep.
"Duncan, Y/N," Chris smirked. "You two look like death,"
"Eat shit," Y/N glared.
"Harold snored all night," Courtney groaned.
"Wow," Chris laughed. "Four nights with no sleep? How much are you guys hurting?"
"Wanna find out?" Duncan lashed out.
"Hey, no, it's cool," Chris backed up.
Suddenly, the mess hall door slammed opened, making everyone turn their attention to the door.
Everybody gasped when they saw Harold standing in the doorway. He had a drawn on mustache on him.
Everybody started to giggle as he walked to the Killer Bass table.
If Y/N wasn't on the brink of death, she probably would have joined in.
"Okay, what?" Harold asked, sitting down at the table.
"Someone messed with your face, dude," Geoff laughed.
Harold grabbed a spoon and looked at his reflection. "Hey, sweet 'stache,"
"Hey everyone, it's Gwen!" Chris called out.
The Screaming Gophers started to cheer as Gwen walked into the mess hall, looking like she was going to pass out any minute.
"I'm so tired, I can't feel my face," she said before her head slammed on the table.
~Confessionals~
"We are so stinking right now!" Courtney whined. "Okay, yes, Eva was a psycho, but at least she was an athletic psycho!"
--
"I want to go home," Y/N groaned.
"And miss out on hanging out with me?" Duncan smirked.
"Your the number one reason why I want to go home,"
"Hey fish heads!" Heather yelled from the other side of the room. "Way to kick out your strongest player! Why don't you just give up now?"
Courtney flung over some mushy oatmeal, but instead of landing on Heather, it landed on Gwen at the last second.
"Missed me," Heather smirked, making Courtney glare at her.
"Okay campers, listen up," Chris said. "Your next challenge begins in ten minutes. And be prepare to bring it!"
"If it's anything like the last challenge, I'm killing Chris," Bridgette mumbled.
"I'll help," Y/N replied.
Tumblr media
All the campers made their way onto what looked like a gym in a regular high school surrounded by glass walls.
Even though she was tired as hell, she wanted The Killer Bass to contribute and try to help the Killer Bass win the challenge. Unlike Duncan, who as soon he got into the gym, he plopped himself on the bleachers.
"Wake me up, and it'll be the last thing you do," he announced before closing his eyes.
Tyler gulped, already scared of what he might do. Y/N rolled her eyes, knowing that it was just an empty threat.
"This is all your fault, you know!" Courtney yelled at Harold. "You and your snoring face!"
"It's called a medical condition, gosh!"
Chef Hatchet, dressed in a referee uniform, blew a whistle, signaling that it was time for the campers to pay attention.
"Today's challenge is the classic game of dodgeball," Chris explained. "The first rule of dodgeball is-"
"Do not talk about dodgeball?" Noah interrupted, making Y/N let out a tiny giggle.
"As I was saying," Chris continued. "If you get with the ball you're out."
Chris threw the ball as hard as he could to Y/N. She caught it but it knocked all the wind out of her, the force pushing her back a little.
"Jeez!" she gasped. "Give me a warning next time, asshole!"
She threw the ball back, hoping it would hit Chris in the head, but to her disappointment, he caught it.
"If you catch the ball, the thrower gets sent out and the catcher gets to bring in another team member out on the court,"
"Throwing balls, gee, another mentally challenging test," Noah remarked.
"I know right!" Lindsay frowned, making Y/N have to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing out loud.
"Okay, now, Geoff, try to hit me," Chris says, throwing a ball to Geoff, who catches it easily.
Chef tossed another ball to Chris. "If you're holding a ball, you can use it to deflect a ball. But if it knocks the ball out of your hands, you're out!" he says.
"So, what do I do again what the ball comes at me?" Lindsay asked.
"You dodge!"
Geoff throws his ball at Chris, who deflects it with the ball he's holding, causing Geoff's ball to bounce back and hit Lindsay right in the face.
Y/N cringed as the ball made contact with Lindsay's face.
"Ooo, you were supposed to dodge!" Chris winced.
"Ow...right,"
Y/N grimaced as Lindsay removed her hand from her forehead, revealing a large purple lump.
"You have one minute until game time," Chris says. "Gophers, you'll have to sit one person out each game."
"Oh boy," Y/N mumbled.
Tumblr media
It was standoff between DJ, Katie, Y/N, Tyler, Harold, and Heather, Lindsay, Owen, Leshawna, and Cody.
They were all staring at the other team, glaring at each other with smirks on their faces.
~Confessionals~
"I'm not the best at dodgeball," Y/N said. "But I have a pretty good feeling about this challenge."
--
"Bring it on fishies," Heather bragged. "Otherwise winning three in a row just won't be as satisfying."
"Oh! You're going down!" Tyler cried. "We're gonna bring the dinner to the table and then we're gonna eat it!"
"You really need to work on your trash talk," Y/N whispered to him.
"Both teams ready?" Chris asked. "Best of five games wins. Now. Let's dodge some ball!"
Y/N deadpanned.
Chef blew his whistle, and Y/N, and everybody who was playing rushed for the balls, either teams cheering for their teammates.
The first one to throw a ball was Cody, the ball going in between Tyler and Harold's heads. Tyler snarled and Cody grinned sheepishly.
In a really dumb move, Tyler spun around and threw his ball, but instead of hitting anybody on the opposite side of the court, he hit Sadie, who was sitting on the bleachers.
"That'll smear the makeup," Chris grinned.
"Nice job," Courtney frowned from the bleachers.
"Now let's see if you can hit someone on their team!"
Owen ran forward, ball in hand. Tyler gaped in fear.
Owen ran right in front of the line before throwing the ball hard as he could at Tyler, hitting in right in the stomach and sending him flying into the glass.
"Ow! Damn it!" Tyler whined.
Chef blew the whistle, making the other team cheer.
Y/N sighed and went to go help Tyler up.
"Maybe next time you should try and dodge," she joked.
"Yeah, I know," Tyler mumbled before going to sit down on the bleachers, Sadie giving him a dirty look.
Chef blew the whistle again.
"Time to unleash my wicked skills," Harold said.
"Yeah?" Leshawna rose one eyebrow. "Then bring it string bean! Let's see what you got!"
Harold did a ninja pose, the ball balancing between his knee and his stomach. He then dropped it into his hand with one foot in the air. Then he leaped forward and slammed the ball into the ground.
It ricocheted upward before bouncing gently onto the other teams side.
Y/N rubbed the bridge of her nose, wishing she had just decided to sleep like Duncan did.
Leshawna picked up the ball unimpressed.
Harold ran away, screaming like a girl as Leshawn hit him in the head with the ball, causing the Screaming Gophers to cheer.
He skidded all the way on the floor until his face smashed against the glass, making Chris and Y/N wince.
Chef blew the whistle.
The score was now 5 v 3.
"And that's how we roll!" Leshawna boasted, high fiving Owen.
Wanting to get somebody on the other team out, Y/N reeled the ball back and threw it as hard as she could, not caring who it hit.
To her surprise, (and guilt) the ball hit Lindsay, causing a purple bruise to form on her cheek.
Lindsay sulked off and sat down on the bleachers.
Even though her team cheered for her, Y/N did feel bad, but decided she would apologize after the challenge.
Suddenly, Heather picked up a ball and threw it at Tyler, who wasn't even on the court.
"Mommy," he whimpered, holding his privates which had just been hit hard with the ball.
"What the fuck was that?" Y/N yelled. "He wasn't even on the court!"
"Oopsies! Slipped!" Heather grinned innocently.
"Ugh!" Y/N grunted, taking DJ's ball and hurling it towards Heather as hard as she could. Heather shielded her face with her arms, but Owen rushed forward and caught the ball.
That meant that Y/N was out.
Y/N scoffed and sat down on the bleachers next to Bridgette.
"At least you scored us a point," Bridgette said.
"I won't be happy till Heather gets out," Y/N grumbled.
Chef pointed at Gwen, signaling that it was her turn to get onto the court.
Owen threw a ball at DJ, but missed. DJ threw one towards Owen, but Owen ducked at the last minute, making the ball hit Gwen in the head right as she was walking on the court.
"Oh! Sorry!" DJ winced.
"Oh, it's cool, trust me," Gwen grinned.
Tumblr media
It was now between DJ and Katie, and Leshawna and Cody.
The whistle blew. Katie and DJ both threw their balls at Leshawna, who deflected one with her ball, but got hit in the stomach with the other one.
Now it was just Cody that was left for The Screaming Gophers.
Y/N thought that her team was guaranteed the win for this round.
"Easy out, guys. Easy out," Courtney said.
Cody spun his ball and grinned. He threw the spinning ball at DJ, who dodged, but the ball managed to whip around and hit DJ in the butt.
"That is one tough ball to dodge!" Chris exclaimed.
Now it was just Katie left for the Killer Bass. She threw a ball at Cody, but he dodged. He picked up a ball and rubbed it rapidly against his shirt, creating static electricity, and then threw the ball.
Katie tried to run away, the Killer Bass (besides Duncan who was still asleep) could only watch with their mouths agape as the ball chased Katie around, eventually hitting her.
Chef blew his whistle, signaling that the round was over.
Y/N sighed as the other team cheered.
Tumblr media
The next round was about to start. The Killer Bass were currently in a team huddle.
"We can do this!" Harold encouraged. "We just have to believe in ourselves!"
"Oh, I believe," Courtney said. "I believe you suck!"
"Yeah, you throw like a girl!" Tyler remarked.
"Oh, like you have any room to talk," Y/N said.
"It was a warm up throw," Tyler defended himself. "Look, I can dominate this game, just give all the balls to me."
Y/N had doubts, but everyone else was going along with it, so she decided to go along with it.
Chef Hatchet blew his whistle
"Fine," Courtney agreed. "Just try to aim for the other side, okay?"
Now it was Katie and Sadie, Tyler, DJ, and Geoff going against Owen, Lindsay, Beth, Trent, and Izzy.
Everyone on the Screaming Gophers was confused to see Tyler holding all the Killer Bass' balls.
Tyler started to spin around again, throwing the balls as he did.
One of the balls hit Chef in the stomach.
One goes towards Chris but he dodges ("Hey! Watch the face dude!")
One flew towards the Screaming Gopher bleachers, forcing the campers who were sitting there to jump away.
And the last one hit Lindsay in the face (again).
"Nooooo!" Tyler ran over to Lindsay.
"Finally!" Courtney said.
Lindsay was knocked out, but she awoke after a moment.
"Uhmm, hmm, Tyler?" she murmured. "Oh my gosh, my face. How's my face?"
She took her hand off her face, making Tyler jump.
"It's really...not that bad," he grinned, lying.
Y/N also jumped when she saw Lindsay's face. Along with bruises on both of her cheeks and her forehead, she also had a fucked up eye.
"You still look great,"
"Really?" Lindsay asked.
"Yeah, really," Tyler grinned.
"Aww, they're so cute," Y/N whispered to Bridgette. "I wish I had someone like that."
"You already do have someone like that," Bridgette mumbled.
"What'd you say?"
"Huh? Nothing,"
Trent walked over to where Lindsay and Tyler were standing. Since Tyler was on their side of the court, he threw the ball gently at Tyler's chest.
"You want to go for a walk?" Tyler asked, not caring that he just got out.
"Okay!" Lindsay eagerly said.
"Hey! Hey get back here!" Heather called out to Lindsay, who wasn't listening. "You are so close to being out of the alliance!"
"Great Gatsby, that is it!" Owen yelled. "Game on!"
He got Katie and Sadie out using one ball, then hit DJ in the shoulder, and then hit hit Geoff square in the face, knocking him to the ground.
"Ow! That one's worth an instant replay!" Chris winced before smiling.
"Ooh! He dropped it like it was hot!" Leshawna grinned.
'What does that even mean?' Y/N deadpanned.
Y/N got off the bleachers and started helping people off the floor.
"Thanks, Y/N," DJ grinned, as Y/N helped him up.
"No problem," she smiled.
Everyone on the Killer Bass began to huddle up (besides Duncan, of course).
"Hey, it's 2-0!" Heather called out to the Bass. "How does it feel to suck so much?"
Y/N opened her mouth to speak but got interrupted by Harold.
"Not very good," he sighed.
"It's not over yet," Courtney huffed, not looking so sure of herself.
"It's so over," Y/N groaned.
Tumblr media
Y/N sat on the bleachers, hunched next to Bridgette.
She didn't remember dodgeball being this hard and brutal.
"Okay, this is really bad," Courtney spoke up. "One more game and we lose the whole challenge, again! We can't let that happen people. We need someone strong, someone mean, someone who will crush those stupid gophers into the dirt!"
Everyone's eyes immediately went to the sleeping Duncan.
"Uh-uh, if we wake him up, he'll kill us," DJ said.
"He won't kill us," Y/N scoffed. "It was just an empty threat. Besides he wants to win too."
"Y/N's right," Harold agreed. "We need Duncan's fierceness to win this!"
"That's the spirit, Harold!" Courtney smiled. "Now go wake him up!"
"Why me?" Harold asked.
"Because, other than Trent, you're the worst at dodgeball. And if he does kill you, you're the only one we can afford to lose," Courtney explained.
"No way! I'm doing it!" Harold said. "Why can't Y/N do it?"
"What? Why me?" Y/N asked.
"'Cause you're the only one here he actually likes," Harold crossed his arms.
"Doesn't mean he won't kill me!" Y/N hissed.
"I thought you said it was just an empty threat?" Bridgette smirked.
Y/N opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out.
"If you don't wake him up, I will," Courtney snapped.
"Oh my gosh, fine!" Y/N gave in. "But if I die, all of you are paying for my funeral."
Y/N very slowly inched herself towards Duncan, who was laying down on the bleachers.
She very lightly tapped on Duncan's shoulder.
"Duncan," she whispered. "Wake up."
When that didn't work, she started tapping him harder.
She started tapping him harder and harder, getting frustrated when she wasn't getting any response.
"Oh my, gosh," she grumbled, bending down to speak in his ear.
"Wake the fuck up, Duncan!"
Before she could even react, Duncan woke up, sat up, and grabbed onto her wrist, pulling her closer to his face.
Unbeknownst to Duncan, he didn't know that it was Y/N waking him up, he thought it was one of his other teammates like Harold or DJ.
So imagine his surprise when he opened his eyes, and saw Y/N, her E/C eyes wide, and a light blush on her face.
The snarl that was on Duncan's face instantly disappeared, instead being replaced by a surprised look on his face, blush also appearing on his cheeks.
Had Y/N eyes always been that bright?
Had her H/C hair always looked that soft?
Had she always been that pretty?
Suddenly, the moment was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. Y/N looked over and saw that the the whole entire team was staring at her. Some were giggling, some of them had smirks, Like Bridgette, and one person was scowling.
You could probably guess who that was.
"Yeah, uh," Duncan stuttered, letting go of Y/N's wrist. "Sorry about that,"
"No worries," Y/N muttered, her face red.
"But you better have a really good reason for yelling in my ear," Duncan said.
Courtney very rudely shoved Y/N out of the way.
~Confessionals~
"Courtney is literally so fucking rude," Y/N frowned. "Seriously, I don't know what her problem is."
--
"Look, we are down two nothing," Courtney said, ignoring the fact that she just shoved Y/N. "I can appreciate that you need a little nap time, but we need your help."
"Oh, and why should I help you, darling?" Duncan smirked.
"Because, I can personally guarantee that if we lose this game, you'll be the one going home, darling," Courtney glared.
Duncan sighed. "Fine, I'll play. On one condition, you do what I say, when I say it,"
Courtney and Y/N both nodded.
"Okay, here's a strategy I picked up during my first visit to juvie," Duncan explained.
"It's called Rush the New Guy."
Tumblr media
The Killer Bass easily won the next round using Duncan's technique. Y/N cheered the whole time from the bleachers, deciding she wasn't going to play that round, but she would play the next round.
The Killer Bass was now in a huddle.
"I think we should do the same thing all over again," Courtney said. "So Harold, sit this one out too."
"But I sat the last one out," Harold complained.
"It's for the good of the team," Courtney reasoned.
Y/N sat back down on the bleachers, waiting for the next round to start.
"Hey uh," Duncan said, sitting down next to her. "Sorry about what I did earlier."
"I already told you it's fine," Y/N said. "Sorry that I woke you up, the team made me do it."
"It's whatever," Duncan shrugged.
"You did good out there," Y/N smiled. "For someone who spends most of their teen years in juvie."
"I'm just naturally good at everything," Duncan smirked.
"Whatever you need to tell yourself," Y/N laughed, heading onto the court for the next round.
~Confessionals~
"She is so into me," Duncan smirked into the camera.
--
~Confessionals~
"Pshh, in his dreams," Y/N giggled, a tiny hint of blush on her cheeks.
Tumblr media
The next round was between Y/N, Duncan, Bridgette, DJ,and Geoff, and Izzy, Trent, Leshawna, Justin, and Beth.
The Killer Bass dominated that round, getting everybody on the opposite team out in only five minutes.
Y/N high fived Bridgette and Geoff as they cheered for another win.
"Okay, this is it," Chris announced. "The final tie breaking game!"
The Killer Bass huddled up, discussing what they were going to do for the final round.
"Okay, who's going in?" Duncan asked.
"I think it's my turn," Harold said.
"No way!" Courtney said. "We actually have a chance to win this!"
Harold sadly nodded and sat down on the bleachers.
Tumblr media
The Killer Bass weren't doing as good as they were before. They were getting some of the other team out, but not as well as they were doing before.
Luckily, Y/N had managed to stay on the court the whole time, crying out in happiness when she managed to get Heather out.
She had to bite her lip to keep herself from laughing when she saw Courtney get in the face by Gwen.
"That's for the oatmeal," Gwen grinned.
Leshawna laughed. "Oh, you messed with the wrong white girl!"
Y/N got distracted though, and got hit in the stomach by Owen, knocking her back into the glass.
"What is with people hitting me in the stomach!" Y/N gasped.
It was now between Harold and Owen.
The Screaming Gophers started to cheer, already knowing that Owen would kick Harold's ass.
Y/N felt the same way, but she wasn't going to tell anyone that.
"Sorry dude, but you've got to go down," Owen smirked.
"Goodnight, Harold," Duncan mumbled.
Owen started throwing throwing all the balls he had at Harold, but to everyone's surprise, Harold was dodging the balls very gracefully and very elegantly.
In Y/N's eyes, Harold looked absolutely fabulous.
"Time out, time out!" Courtney said to Chef, who then blew his whistle.
"Man, that boy's got dodge!" Duncan said while Harold sat down on the bleachers. "Where'd you learn to do that?"
"Figure skating," Harold answered, spitting some water that Bridgette gave him into Tyler's face.
"Harold, that was awesome!" Geoff said. "But dodging isn't enough."
"Geoff is right," Y/N said. "To win this, you either have to throw them out-"
"Which we all know you can't do," Duncan interrupted.
"Or catch the ball," Y/N finished. "Think you can do it?"
"Defintley!" Harold grinned.
"Awesome!" DJ exclaimed, slapping Harold's back. "Now go catch that ball!"
Harold walked onto the court, having a stare down with Owen.
Both of the teams started cheering.
"Harold! Harold! Harold! Harold!" the Killer Bass chanted.
"Cowabunga!" Owen shouted. He winded up his arm and threw the ball.
Holding her breath, Y/N clutched onto Duncan's arm as she watched the ball make contact with Harold, sending him flying into the glass.
"Come on, Harold," Y/N and Duncan muttered.
The biggest grin appeared on Y/N's face when she saw Harold hold the ball up, both of his hands clasping it.
Chef Hatchet blew his whistle, signaling that the game was over.
"The Killer Bass win!" Chris cheered.
The Killer Bass started cheering as loud as they could.
Y/N started jumping up and down, cheering the loudest.
Duncan was also cheering very loudly, whooping and hollering.
The two of them got so caught up in the excitement that they turned to hug each other.
Just as they were about to wrap their arms around each other, they both stopped, realizing how awkward it was since their faces were so close to each other not that long ago.
Instead of hugging each other, they gave each other an awkward fist bump instead, sheepish smiles and light blush on both of their faces.
Y/N looked over and saw Bridgette wiggling her eyebrows at Y/N, making her roll her eyes.
DJ and Duncan picked up Harold and put him on their shoulders, the Killer Bass crowding around them as they walked out of the gym.
"Nice job, skater nerd," Duncan grinned.
"You are literally my new favorite person," Y/N smiled.
~Confessionals~
"I guess I'm kind of a role model now that I won the dodgeball competition," Harold said, eating potato chips. "People will probably all want my autograph when the show is over and stuff."
--
Y/N relaxed on the stairs of the cabin porch, glad that she didn't have to worry about getting voted out that night.
As she counted the stars in the night sky, she started to think about that moment that she had with Duncan during the challenge.
She knew that Duncan didn't mean to grab her wrist like that, that's why he apologized.
But she couldn't help but think about how he started to blush as soon that he realized that it was Y/N. And the fact that it looked like he was taking in every detail of her face.
No, it wasn't that.
Surely it wasn't.
He was only blushing because that moment must have looked super embarrassing to the rest of the team.
Yeah, that's totally the reason.
"Whatcha thinking about?" said a voice that made Y/N jump. "I bet it's about me."
Of course the voice came from Duncan. And yes, Y/N was currently thinking about him.
But Duncan didn't need to know that.
"Don't scare me like that, asshole!" Y/N snapped, smacking Duncan's arm as he sat down next to her.
"My bad, didn't know that you were such a baby," Duncan laughed.
"I hope you drown in the lake," Y/N joked.
"Oh, you say the sweetest things, Y/N," Duncan purred. "You kicked ass today."
"You only saw me play two games," Y/N giggled.
"You still kicked ass none the less,"
"Oh, that means the world coming from you,"
"Don't get used to it, you're annoying as fuck most of the time,"
Y/N scoffed. "Like you have any room to talk,"
"Hey, people love me," Duncan defended. "Especially the ladies."
He then winked very cheesily.
"Oh yeah, I bet," Y/N rolled her eyes. "And by ladies, did you mean your grandma?"
Duncan choked on his spit, making Y/N roar with laughter.
"Okay, I'm heading off to bed," Y/N said, wiping a tear from her eye. "Thanks for the good laugh, I needed that."
"Anything to help a pretty girl like you, sweetheart," Duncan smirked.
"Uh huh," Y/N said, getting up and heading into the cabin. "Goodnight Duncan, I'll see you in the morning."
Y/N walked into the cabin, she could hear Duncan mutter behind her, but she was too tired to try and figure out what he said.
"Goodnight gorgeous,"

Hi sorry to send in another ask but I was wondering if you would be willing to write Eva, Geoff, Tyler, and Alejandro x shy male reader who they’ve been crushing on coming up to them and giving them a drawing that they just made of them. I’m just imagining like half of them blue screening.
If you don’t like this or don’t want to do it no worries. Thank you for your time.
Hey, thank you so much for remaining so patient! The amount of time I took to complete this was unacceptable, so I apologise and hope you enjoy.
SHY! MALE! READER GIVING A DRAWING TO TDI CHARACTERS (ALEJANDRO + EVA + TYLER + GEOFF)
ALEJANDRO
Tumblr media
Alejandro announced that he would be taking a flight to Spain for the rest of summer.
You had one of your closer friends, who wasn’t from the show, help you navigate your way into the airport.
When you got in, you looked up at one of the screens and saw the gate number for Spain so you followed the signs.
You were worried that you may have misread it, until you saw the familar suave face of Alejandro, rotated right in your direction.
As though he had anticipated you!
“My, (Y/N)! Is that really you?“ He smiled benevolently to you,"What a delight to see you here before I must go! What have you come here for?"
“Alejandro, hello...” you greeted, giving a small wave,”I know you need to go to uh, board your plane soon, but I...” you gulped.
You decided to finish your sentence by presenting him the drawing.
“What’s this?” he questions rhetorically, taking the paper,“You..did this?”
You nodded sheepishly.
“Ay... I...really wasn’t expecting this.” You glanced up confused. The way he was speaking. That wasn’t a tone you recognised. Was it...
Before you could finish that thought, Alejandro shakes his head and his charming speech pattern was present again, hand on his cheek,“Oh how generous of you! To take such precious time out of your day to truly capture my mediocrity on paper!”
Mediocrity?
Oh. You get what he was trying to do.
Though, that didn’t stop you from contradicting his intentionally self deprecating comment,“No, don’t call yourself that... You’re not mediocre.”
“No? Then what am I? Below average?”
“Beyond average,” you murmured, but he heard it.
“Oh my dear amigo! Your words have touched my heart. You are too kind! Is there any possible way to repay this? You must tell me.”
“N-No, don’t... There’s no point in drawing you if I wanted something in return..”
“Your heart indeed is made of gold.” he claimed, delicately storing it away in his backpack,“Many thanks. I shall never pass this over.”
“You’re welcome.” you say, now running out of things to say, you reminded the brunette of his flight.
“Oh, yes! Ah, what unfortunate timing!” he comedically slaps a hand to his forehead,”If it were in my hands, I would freeze time to go into deep praise about your talents!” he grabs the handle of his suitcase,“Farewell, (Y/N). May sunshine follow your days.”
You knew Alejandro was probably trying to use the drawing to lure you into a facade of security.
Which was further from the truth.
As Alejandro joined the queue and watched your fading figure, he wondered when the right opportunity would come.
EVA
Tumblr media
The gym was the best place to find Eva.
And right you were: when you walked in, you found the sports-driven woman.
She seemed really focused on her weights... That frown was putting you off... 20kg like it was nothing...
Okay... Um... After she’s done, I’ll...give it to her then.
And when that time did come, you were still so nervous. The whole time, she carried this dark aura, warning you to not come close.
At least she’s not doing a set now... So I’m not exactly disturbing her from anything...but I am still disturbing her by doing this, aren’t I?
When will you get to have another opportunity like this? After a deep breath, you quietly stepped towards her towering body.
You’re close enough... Now, you could get her attention...
You flinch when you do.
Annoyed, she turns around and ripped an earbud out of her ear and sneers her question,“Yeah? What do you want?”
That sounded more like an imperative than a question... You regretted what you’ve done now...but there’s no way she was going to let you off until you did what you wanted to do. Just keep your eyes away and your voice low,“Sorry to interrupt you... Can...I give something to you?”
“I’m busy. Give it later.” she grumbled, grabbing a new pair of weights.
Oh. Never mind,“Ah...okay. Sorry.”
“Nghh. You know what.” she had her hand squeezed on your shoulder,“Give it now.”
You sigh and handed her the drawing,“I just...thought you looked nice. Sorry...for wasting your time. I’ll go now.”
“Now hold on just a minute...”Uh oh,“You come to me when I’m busy with this drawing and you’re walking away without me even getting my thanks in?!”
“...Sorry?”
She playfully punches you, and you could see how wide her smile was,“Man, I can’t believe I was about to let you go when I had this thing to look at! It’s the first time someone’s drawn me in this way!”
“Oh... So, people have drawn you before?” That was surprising.
“Yeah, but in ways that really get on my nerves. They colour my face red and even give me demon horns!” she explained, seeming to clutch the paper out of progressive anger.
“Oh...” you felt very awkward now,”I’m sorry about that.”
“Don’t sweat it. I usually throw their faces in the mud and throw water over as retribution.” she added, now back to smiling.
...Eva’s wrath was no laughing matter.
Though it looks like you found the loophole.
TYLER
Tumblr media
You knew Tyler would be at the local swimming pool.
Standing outside of it, you checked over your drawing one last time to make sure you didn’t accidentally draw a horrible caricature drawing.
It was the same piece you intended to give to him, but you realised you forgot to add his signature red sweatband.
Curse your forgetfulness as you messily wrote down an apology to the side of paper Tyler’s head.
You went down to the swimming pool, taking caution as you walked on the slippery floors. You spotted Tyler in the deeper end of the pool, though feeling embarrassed that shouting for him would draw attention, you decide to let him notice you.
And when he does, he grins, waving wildly,“(Y/N), hey!” and attempted to swim faster, however when he got up, he ended up slipping and fell right on his back...then back into the pool.
You winced. This isn’t the first something excruciating happened to him, though the sight of it still gets you every time,”Oh God, Tyler, are you okay?”
He resurfaced and swam weaker than before and cautiously went up the ladder by your feet,”Yeah yeah, I’m still alive! What are you doing here, did you decide to sign up for the swimming team for next year?”
You shake your head,“No no, not this year... Uh... I actually came to see you... Because I know we won’t see each other until September...so I made this in appreciation of you.” not wanting him to ruin the drawing with his dripping wet limbs, you held it up for him to see.
He blinked, and took it anyway,“Is this me? Doppppe! My first fanart!”
“Uh...” you blinked,”Fanart?”
“Yeah! I’m gonna frame this and put it on my wall at home!” he clapped his wet hand with yours,“Thanks man! You’re real talented!”
“Oh!” you blush,“No worries!”
GEOFF
Tumblr media
Geoff had thrown a party for all the Total Drama contestants of your generation and you would have skipped it if you didn’t know the people.
The perfect chance to give him the drawing.
When you arrived, Geoff was there by the DJ booth.
Taking a deep breath, you went over to him,“Hello Geoff...” you smile softly.
He enthusiastically tips his hat to you,“Yo, (Y/N)! My favourite party pal! What’s smokin’, bro?”
You kept your meek smile, a contrast to the internal turmoil to give it to him now,“...Hi Geof. I hope I’m not bothering you, but I wanted to um-“
“No friend is either a bother, man! What’s that you wanted to show me?” no going back now. He sees that your hand is preoccupied with something.
So, you gave that something over to him, facing down.
With a curious expression, he takes it and flips it over.
His jaw drops. He hates it-
“Yo (Y/N)! Did you do this? It looks incredible!” Huh?,“How do you get my chin right? No one ever gets my chin right!”
“Really?... I didn’t think much about that chin... I was worried about the shading...”
“The shading? You shaded this thing!?” Geoff exclaimed even louder as his eyes frantically scanned the paper again,“No way! I look almost look as good as that Mona Lisa gal! Sorry I didn’t notice that before dude, I love this to bits! Massive thank you man!” he suddenly surrounds you with a friendly embrace.
You gasped, but once you registered the gesture, a sense of security flowed through your veins. Geoff, however, didn’t get the last part and let go of you immediately.
“Sorry sorry, lost myself for a sec there, bro! It’s just, this art! It’s so good, it’s like putting me under a spell! You were fine with the hugging, right?”
You give a small smile,“Of course.”
“This is like an early birthday gift! Or late.” he turns to you curiously,”If your birthday’s six months from now, does that make it six months early or six months late?”
Another quirky question!,“Um...both?”
“Yeah! You’re right! Both still make a valid reason to party!” he grinned,“Thanks again man!”

Secrets - Awsten Knight x Geoff's sister!reader
Word Count: 1552
A/N: Sorry this took so long! please request more awsten pleaseeee bc i love waterparks hehe
Tumblr media
I never thought I’d find myself in this situation. It was past midnight, the hotel hallway was eerily quiet, and Awsten, of all people, stood at my door with a split lip, bruised knuckles, and a sheepish look on his face.
“What are you doing here?” I asked, voice low but sharp enough to cut through his usual bravado.
“Good evening to you too,” he quipped, his words slurring slightly as if he’d been chewing on them before spitting them out. “Can I come in?”
I leaned against the doorframe, crossing my arms. “Not until you explain why you look like you lost a fight with a garbage truck.”
Awsten’s hand went to his lip, dabbing at the dried blood as if he’d only just noticed it was there. “Some guy at the bar was being a jackass,” he muttered. “Said some stuff, shoved me. So, I… shoved him back.”
“And then?” I pressed, raising a skeptical brow.
“And then he punched me.”
I sighed, rubbing the bridge of my nose. This wasn’t exactly out of character for Awsten, but it didn’t make it any less ridiculous. “You couldn’t go to Geoff? Or Otto? Why are you at my door?”
“Geoff’s asleep. Otto’s…” He gestured vaguely, like Otto’s absence was a problem too complicated to explain. “And, I don’t know, okay? You were just the first person I thought of.”
That surprised me more than it should have. Awsten and I weren’t exactly close. Sure, I was Geoff’s sister, and we saw each other plenty whenever I tagged along on tours, but our relationship mostly consisted of bickering, sarcastic jabs, and the occasional begrudging truce.
“Fine,” I said, stepping aside to let him in. “But if you bleed on anything, I’m sending you the cleaning bill.”
“Noted,” he said, brushing past me into the small hotel room.
The room was cramped, with barely enough space for the bed, a tiny desk, and a chair shoved awkwardly into the corner. Awsten collapsed onto the edge of the bed with a dramatic sigh, cradling his injured hand like a war hero nursing a battle wound.
I grabbed the first-aid kit from my suitcase, setting it on the nightstand. “Stay still,” I ordered, pulling out a cotton pad and a bottle of antiseptic.
“Yes, doctor,” he said with a smirk, though it faded the moment I pressed the cotton to his lip.
“God, that stings,” he hissed, jerking away.
“Stop being a baby,” I said, grabbing his chin to hold him still. Up close, I could see the faint shadow of a bruise blooming along his cheekbone. His eyes—usually sharp and mischievous—were softer now, a hint of vulnerability peeking through.
“What happened to the guy who hit you?” I asked, dabbing at the cut.
“Got kicked out,” Awsten muttered. “But not before landing a solid punch. Lucky me.”
I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. “You really are a magnet for trouble, aren’t you?”
He grinned, even as I pressed a fresh pad to his lip. “What can I say? It’s part of my charm.”
“Charm isn’t the word I’d use,” I muttered, though I couldn’t entirely suppress a smile.
We fell into a rhythm after that—me cleaning up his injuries, him cracking jokes to fill the silence. Despite my annoyance, there was something oddly comforting about the banter. It was familiar, easy in a way I didn’t expect.
“There,” I said, stepping back to admire my handiwork. “You’re semi-presentable again.”
“Thanks,” he said, flexing his fingers experimentally. “You’re pretty good at this.”
“I’ve had practice,” I said. “Geoff isn’t exactly a stranger to dumb injuries.”
Awsten chuckled, the sound low and genuine. “Guess it runs in the family, huh?”
I rolled my eyes, but before I could retort, he shifted awkwardly on the bed. “Uh… actually, can I crash here? Just for tonight?”
I blinked at him, caught off guard. “What?”
“I just… I really don’t want to run into that guy again,” he admitted, his voice quieter now. “And, I don’t know, it feels safer here.”
The vulnerability in his tone was unexpected, almost disarming. I hesitated, my instinct to say no warring with a pang of sympathy. Finally, I sighed. “Fine. But you’re sleeping on the other side of the bed.”
“Deal,” he said, already kicking off his shoes and flopping onto the mattress like he owned the place.
I shook my head, climbing in on the opposite side and pulling the blanket over myself. “No funny business, Knight.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” he said, though there was a teasing lilt to his voice that made me wonder if he was lying.
I woke up to warmth.
At some point in the night, Awsten had shifted closer. His arm draped over my waist, his face nestled against my shoulder. My first instinct was to shove him off, but… I didn’t. There was something oddly comforting about the weight of him, the steady rise and fall of his breathing against my back.
“Awsten,” I whispered, my voice groggy.
He stirred, mumbling something incoherent before his eyes fluttered open. When he realized where he was, his face went red, but instead of pulling away, he smirked. “Morning, sunshine.”
“Don’t start,” I said, though my cheeks burned.
“Too late.” He propped himself up on one elbow, his grin softening as his eyes met mine. “You know, you’re kinda cute when you’re not yelling at me.”
“Don’t push your luck,” I said, but there was no bite to my words.
For a moment, neither of us moved. His gaze flicked to my lips, and before I could overthink it, he leaned in. The kiss was soft, tentative, like he was waiting for me to shove him away. But I didn’t.
When we pulled apart, his grin was back, full force this time. “So, does this mean you don’t hate me anymore?”
“Don’t get used to it,” I said, though I couldn’t hide my smile.
That should have been the end of it. A one-time thing, a weird blip in the universe that we’d both laugh about later. But it wasn’t.
The rest of the tour passed in a blur of stolen moments. Glances that lingered too long, hands brushing when no one was looking, whispered conversations in dark corners. It was maddening, infuriating, and completely intoxicating.
We didn’t tell anyone—not Geoff, not Otto, not anyone on the crew. Part of me liked the secrecy, the thrill of sneaking around. But another part of me knew it wasn’t sustainable.
One night, a week before the tour ended, Awsten showed up at my door again.
“This is becoming a habit,” I said, though I stepped aside to let him in.
“Can’t help it,” he said, grinning as he plopped onto the bed. “You’re just so beautiful.”
I rolled my eyes, but my heart did a little flip anyway. “What do you want, Awsten?”
He hesitated, his usual bravado faltering. “I wanted to see you.”
Something in his tone made my chest tighten. I sat down beside him, the bed dipping under our weight. “What’s going on?”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know. I guess I’m just… scared.”
“Of what?”
“This,” he said, gesturing between us. “Whatever this is. It’s… different.”
I didn’t know what to say to that. Part of me wanted to agree, to admit that I was scared too. But another part of me—the part that had grown used to keeping people at arm’s length—wanted to push him away.
“I get it,” I said finally. “But maybe it doesn’t have to be so scary.”
Awsten looked at me, his eyes searching mine for something I wasn’t sure I could give him. Then, without a word, he kissed me. This time, there was no hesitation, no waiting for permission. It was messy and desperate and perfect.
When we pulled apart, he rested his forehead against mine. “You know this is gonna get complicated, right?”
“Yeah,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. “But maybe it’s worth it.”
The tour ended, and life went back to normal—well, as normal as it could be when you were secretly dating your brother’s bandmate.
Awsten and I fell into a rhythm, sneaking around whenever we could. It wasn’t easy, especially with Geoff constantly hovering, but somehow, we made it work.
One night, as we lay tangled in each other’s arms, Awsten turned to me, his expression uncharacteristically serious. “We should tell him,” he said.
“Who?”
“Geoff,” he said. “I mean, he’s gonna find out eventually, right? Might as well rip the band-aid off.”
I hesitated, my stomach twisting into knots. “You really think that’s a good idea?”
Awsten shrugged. “I don’t know. But I don’t want to keep hiding, either.”
I sighed, resting my head against his chest. “Let’s wait a little longer. Just until things settle down.”
He nodded, though I could tell he wasn’t happy about it. “Okay. But promise me something?”
“What?”
“Don’t let this be a secret forever,” he said, his voice soft. “I don’t want to feel like I’m hiding you.”
I looked up at him, my heart aching at the vulnerability in his eyes. “I promise,” I said, though I wasn’t sure if I believed it myself.
For now, the secret was ours. And for now, that was enough.

☆ Lipstick Stars ☆
Tumblr media
Awsten Knight x GN!Reader (no pronouns other than “you” used) || fluff || tw: none (if there is, pls let me know!)
Summary: You’re sick of seeing Awsten use lipstick to draw his stars, so you take matters into your own hands.
*Note: hii lovelies!! thanks for wanting to read this!! this was born out of a dream i had.. it’s not very long, i know. but i finally finished something for the first time in months! pls be kind, i am sensitive. but constructive criticism is always welcome!! it is how we grow to be better after all!! 💘💋 masterlist
word count: 659.
Awsten had a tendency for doing things the ‘wrong way’. Majority of the time it was harmless. It just really annoys people, is the thing. And when people try to tell him the right way to do it, he will double down. He really likes being petty and annoying.
“Please, Awsten, just let me do this?” You beg. “You cannot keep using lipstick. By the end of this, you’ll have permanent red stains on your face!”
“I’ll be fine,” Awsten says, reaching for the red lipstick tube on the vanity. “I scrub it off really well when the show’s over.”
You let out a huff. “You use soap and water. You’re using liquid red lipstick that dries matt, and you use soap and water to wash it off when the show’s over! There’s always stains left on your face. It takes me forever to get you to use a makeup wipe!”
The unnatural redhead just grins at you through the mirror.
“Awsten, just let me use the right stuff!” You beg, using puppy eyes. He always breaks for your puppy eyes. “I promise it’ll be so much easier to clean off your face.”
Awsten looks at you and starts slowly unscrewing the lipstick tube, a shit-eating grin taking over his face as he does so.
Damn, puppy eyes let you down today.
You narrow your eyes at him before letting out a huff.
Awsten’s grin turns smug as he thinks he’s won The Great Lipstick Star Battle. But he should know by now your need to do certain things right. Especially makeup.
He turns around to look into the mirror, bringing the stick up to his face. A mistake on his part.
You tackle him to the floor while he’s distracted. He lets out a shriek.
You snatch the lipstick out of his hand and toss it behind you.
“What the fuck?!” Awsten shrieks as he looks up at you with wide eyes.
You let out a giggle. “You should’ve known better than to think you won this battle.”
“Get off me,” he says, turning to lay on his back, you now sitting on his stomach. There’s no real heat behind his words, so you just smile down at him.
“No,” you sing-song as you uncap the liquid face paint you’ve been holding this entire time.
You grab ahold of his face and bring the stick down to above his left eyebrow.
He lets out an amused huff, closing his eyes, relaxing his body. He surrendered. You’ve won The Great Lipstick Star Battle of 2022.
You’re careful as you draw his stars. You know how big they’re supposed to be. You know the importance of them. You wouldn’t fuck them up.
Besides, Awsten wouldn’t have surrendered as quickly and as easily as he did if he didn’t trust you with his stars.
When you’re done, you kiss his nose and cap up the face paint. “All done.”
A smile falls on Awsten’s lips, causing you to smile as well. You move to get off of him, but he grabs ahold of your hips.
“Wait,” he says, staring up at you. “Take a picture?”
You nod and grab your phone from off the coffee table. “Smile!”
He does as told. You take a plethora of pictures, selfies included. The both of you giggling whenever he makes a stupid face.
Your photoshoot is interrupted by Lucas coming to tell Awsten he needs to be on stage in two minutes. He barely spares your antics a glance before he leaves the room.
You get up off of Awsten, helping pull him up when he raises his hands up.
“Thank you for drawing my stars for me.”
“You’re welcome. Thanks for letting me do them,” you say with a smile. You kiss his nose one more time. “Now go perform a stellar show.”
He gives you one more smile and a kiss on the cheek before heading out the door and onto stage.

Can you make Yandere Geoff hcs? I love him he needs more love and atention ♡
of course! he for sure is one of the more underrated boys, he deserves so much more :(
geoff algolen yandere headcanons. .
song⤹˚ ; the blonde by tv girl
cw : basic yandere behaviour. isolation, toxicity, mentions of a punishment, and overall obsession.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
geoff is soo clingy! he never wants to be detached from you. and i mean, c'mon, who can resist his sad puppy eyes? he's honestly really suffocating. he'd never hurt you, and he doesn't want you to get hurt by someone else
the only time he'd really ''punish'' you is if you've made him super mad. and your punishment would just be isolation, locking you in the house, etc. there's nothing you've ever needed more than alone time.
he doesn't really get jealous that much, only if someone is openly flirting with you. then he'll find a way to include himself in the conversation and drag you away.
he strives and craves for your affection. he does everything for you, makes you little notes describing his love for you. even though the hand-writing is pretty bad and a few words are mispelled, you get the message.
geoff always does things a boyfriend would. even when you two weren't dating yet.
he isn't the kind of person to actually want to inflict harm on to someone, he wants to, but he just can't. he just keeps tugging you away from people until they can't stand it anymore and just leave you alone.
he adores pda with you, if you aren't comfortable with it, he'll respect it. but, then he'll just come back asking for more.
he doesn't recognize that his obsession is unhealthy. he's honestly sort of delusional. if you just treat him like a normal friend he'll think that's a gate-way to a relationship.
but god, you're everything to him.
''babe, it's like, we're meant to be! you're cool, and i'm cool.''

Could I get a small part of the Leahy 1 WIP as a treat?
Of course of course, it'll be a treat for us both ;)
Tumblr media
Rage simmered under the surface of your skin as you were led down the lengthy tunnels and corridors. It was a long walk from Heavy Containment to the Entrance Zone where the administration officers were located.
You hardly noticed the discomfort to your feet. Unease, pain, and fear had been a constant in your life for the past few weeks. Test after test, humiliation after humiliation, all for the sake of progress—or so you had been told.
And now, this latest indignity. Dr. Puli had taken you to his office and warned you of the latest torment on the Site Director’s docket. No longer were you going to be a chew toy for SCPs. Now, you were going to be a breeding sow. Paired off with whatever SCP seemed the most compatible, all so you could make anomalous soldiers for the Foundation.
Leahy had confirmed it, mocked your reluctance, and got a headbutt to the face for it. You didn’t know if you broke his nose, but one could only hope.
Your fists curled at your sides, never missing your stride as you walked in between your guards. After waking up in a panic in the middle of the medical staff giving you an invasive exam you didn’t want, you’d started to think. And plan. It wasn’t a very good plan, but you had no choice once the intercom declared “tonight.”
Giving your demands to the darkened observation window, you were surprised when they were granted. Doubt only trickled in when 049 sent you a concerned, sidelong stare, his silence beseeching you to reconsider.
But it was too late to withdraw your request. The guards came to escort you, and here you were before the door to the Site Director’s office.
It slid aside, allowing you and your escorts to pass. You’d never been to Leahy’s office before. It wasn’t as large as you thought it would be, and it held the typical office furniture, complete with fluorescent lights, muted grey carpets, and a sad potted fern in the corner.
The Site Director glanced up from his dark wood desk, staring over the rim of his glasses with the usual annoyed look he reserved for you. He’d agreed to speak to you, but of course he was going to make you feel like an inconvenience. You were disappointed to see his nose was merely bruised, not broken. At least it looked tender.
“You may go,” he said to the uniforms. They exited the office like the obedient hounds they were, leaving the cuffs around your wrists.
You waited until the door slid and locked behind you to speak.
“I’d rather not have this conversation in chains.”
“And what conversation would that be?”
“About your program.”
He set down his pen and leaned back in his chair, the leather creaking with the movement.
“I made my expectations on the matter clear. What more is there to discuss?”
You released a sigh and let your shoulders slump. After a moment, you lifted your hands in front of you, the metal clinking against your shackles.
“Please?”
He appraised you for a long moment, and you struggled not to wither under his stare. You despised this, being at his mercy, begging for a crumb of decency that he would grant only to watch you squirm.
With a huff of air, he got up from his desk and fished a ring out keys out of his pocket. He sorted through them as he approached, finding the one he wanted, shaped like a small silver cylinder, and he inserted it into your cuffs. You forced yourself to be still, refusing to shy away from how close he stood.
With a turn of the key, the cuffs unlatched, and Leahy removed them. You took a step back, rubbing your wrists, an unwanted surge of gratitude moving through you. You tamped it down, disgust remaining in its place. You wouldn’t show your jailer gratitude for removing the shackles he put there.
“So, out with it.” He turned his back to you, dropping the restraints into the seat of the chair in front of his desk. “If you’re here to beg me to call it off, don't. You should know better than to ask. It hasn’t been that long since you worked for me, and I expect you to—”
You didn’t know what made him turn. Instinct, a soft release of a held breath, the ruffle of cloth sliding against skin. Whatever it was, you missed your mark.
The scalpel sliced down his bicep, cleaving through the sleeve of his lab coat and revealing a line of oozing red.
Your second swing was even less successful than the first—the scalpel in your fist glinted in the overhead lights, less than a foot from his face where Leahy caught your wrist.
He twisted, forced you to drop the scalpel, and then pivoted your arm and shoved you, chest-first, against the wall.
You screamed and thrashed, rage and disappointment clutching your lungs. You’d been so close, so fucking close! But your frustration lay with yourself; you’d choked at the last second. Even if Leahy had somehow sensed the attack, your hesitancy had caused you to miss your true target: the glimpse of skin between his hairline and the collar of his coat.
But you screwed up, and now you and 049 would pay for it.

Awsten knight x male reader fanfiction. Angst.
TW: seizures, cancer
A/N: alright this fic isn't the best I made but it's also not the worst. Probably shouldn't be the first fic I post on here but idrc anymore.
"He's having another one!" Geoff screamed from the bathroom. I immediately threw off my bass and ran to the bathroom, Otto following behind me.
"What do you mean Geoff!? Please don't tell me it's another seizure!" I shouted, trying to get a view on what was happening. Awsten was sitting on the floor completely locked up. He was practically unmoving. I immediately bent down and shook him. He had no response, staying completely still. Otto and Geoff were practically screaming at each other, and Awsten looked like he was about to break every tendon in his body.
"I'm SORRY for not immediately screaming seizure Otto! I was making sure he was unhurt!" Geoff screamed.
"It's our best friend's life here, not a video game! You should have told us the second he fell!" Otto held up his finger like he was telling off a child.
"Both of you, stop bickering! We need to stay calm don't we?" I mumbled. They both looked at me and softened their gaze, Otto still having an angry look on his face but not nearly as aggressive. I grabbed Awsten's hands and tried to pull away his sharp nails digging into his skin.
"I'm sorry, I'm gonna get his meds for when he gets out of this." Geoff mumbled, squeezing past Otto.
"Thank you Geoff." I said softly, petting Awsten's hair. "It'll all be done soon baby, I swear it's gonna be okay." I nuzzled my face into his shoulder and kissed it. "It's gonna stop soon."
Geoff came back into the bathroom shortly after.
"Everything's on the couch, should we take him there now Incase it turns into the breakdancing type of seizure?"
"Did he see flashing lights to cause this?"
"I don't think so, maybe stress?"
"I think he's fine. He only has those kinds when he sees flashing lights. It should end soon anyway." I said softly. Geoff nodded.
"im going to go make everything comfortable for him." he said, leaving the room.
Awsten's eyes shifted towards me and stared into mine. They looked panicked.
"it's over soon I swear it's gonna end soon." I kissed his shoulder and pet his hair as we waited for it to stop. Minutes passed.
"Y/N, we need to call an ambulance!" Otto said as he checked his phone.
"What, why?" my eyes widened.
"it's been like 7 minutes! Brain damage happens over 5, remember?" Otto frantically said as he typed numbers into his phone. He took a few deep breaths, acting more casual afterwards. Geoff came bolting into the room.
"Ambulance? What?!?!" the brown haired boy panicked.
"I'm calling 911, it's been 7 minutes." Otto's voice lacked any tone, and he tried to deadpan in every other way, but you could tell his face was full of worry. He was trying to hide his fear for Awsten.
"911, what's your emergency?" the operator softly spoke. it was on speaker. I started to speak.
"My boyfriend has been having a seizure for over 5 minutes!"
"Ok ok, what's you and your boyfriends name?" Otto set the phone down on the floor and sat down cross-legged.
"I'm Y/N, my boyfriend is Awsten, our friends Otto and Geoff are here too."
"Okay Y/N, I want your friends to make sure all medication Awsten has used in the last 24 hours and that he is in a safe place, ok?"
"ok, ok yeah." Otto automatically jumped up and exited the room quickly, running around and grabbing Awsten's many pill bottles.
"Ok, what's the address?"
"103 1st street."
"Does Awsten have Epilepsy?"
"Yeah, a pretty bad case."
"Ok Y/N I have an ambulance on the way. They will be there shortly. I'm going to stay on the line to make sure nothing progresses okay?
"Ok, yeah, yeah." I took deep breaths and kissed Awsten's cheek "it's gonna be ok Aws."
"They are pulling up now, it's almost over. You two are very brave. I'll go when I hear them enter the room." as the operator spoke a knock was heard on the door. Geoff ran to the door. I heard them talking.
"Hello sir, where's the medical emergency?"
"He's in the bathroom!" Geoff guided the paramedics into the room.
"Sir, please step out of the room." they pointed at me. I nodded and stepped away from Awsten. the phone hung up. They immediately checked if Awsten was breathing and talked into a small radio. "he's not okay to be guided out, stretcher now."
10 seconds later a stretcher rolled into the house, moving us to the side. They all lifted Awsten onto the stretcher, quickly moving him back to the ambulance. I followed closely behind. they lifted him into the ambulance, almost closing the door before I interrupted.
"Hey! I'm his boyfriend, can I please ride with him?" I begged to one of the paramedics. The other one was already in the ambulance, checking Awsten's vitals.
"If you aren't by law related to the patient we can't let you in." the paramedic gave me a sorry look.
"please, I beg you. We've been together for 13 years."
"... fine. Don't tell them I let you though. you two need to get married eventually." they gave me a small smile as they opened the door further.
"Thank you so much!" I relaxed as I climbed in. I sat on a seat next to Awsten, holding his hand. I saw Otto and Geoff rush stuff into their car from the window in the back. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, preparing for the worst.
____________________
My eyes opened. I almost fell asleep, but Geoff pinched me awake.
"stay awake for Awsten. we need to make sure he's okay."
stay awake stay awake stay awake stay awake stay awake stay awake!
"It's so hard."
"I know but the results are coming back soon, we won't have to wait much longer."
"He's the love of my life Geoff, if he got brain damage I don't know what I'd do."
"He'd still be the same Awsten."
"The same body but likely not the same man."
Geoff grunted and held his head in his hands. After around 30 seconds the doctor walked into the small room they placed us in. All 3 of us jumped up.
"You are the friends and partner of A. Knight, correct?"
"Yes." Otto nodded.
"Well I have good news and bad news." the doctor sighed, sitting in a chair on the opposite side of us.
"Good news, his brain itself is completely fine. No neurons were affected.." the rooms thick and heavy air immediately lifted. all 3 of us sighed and relaxed. "Bad news, his condition significantly grew in severity somehow since the last time we saw him and we know why."
"Why?" I was on the edge of my seat.
"He has a brain tumor."
Everything felt wrong.
"is it cancerous?" Geoff whispered.
"We are still doing tests, but it's likely."

It was still the night from the last challenge, The Killer Bass were now surrounded around a campfire, too tired to do anything else, but too depressed to go to bed.
They had only won two challenges even though they competed in five. It made the the whole team feel down. Did they really suck that bad?
Y/N sat on a trunk next to Duncan, her head in her hands. She wondered what he dad thought of her. She wondered how he was doing. Was he eating healthy? Was he drinking enough water? Was he being taken care of? Was he proud of her?
Y/N wanted to go home.
The sound of obnoxious crying made Y/N turn her head around, seeing Bridgette holding a crying Sadie's hand, guiding her to sit with everyone else around the fire. Sadie continued to sob, tears and snot leaking down her face, she hugged a piece of wood and held it close to her.
"It was a long goodbye," Bridgette said.
The sound of more people coming towards made Y/N inwardly groan. She already knew who it was. "What do you guys want?" Courtney sneered. "Come by to rub it in?"
"We got some extra dessert after out tuck shop party," Trent smiled. Y/N saw that Beth was holding up a platter of green jello with a gummy worm in it. "Thought you might want some."
"That's weirdly nice," Y/N remarked, eyeing the team with suspicion.
"Okay, Owen stunk up our cabin and we need some time to air out," Gwen said, rolling her eyes over to Owen, who farted silently.
"Oh, dude," Trent said in disgust.
Beth walked over the Courtney, holding up the jello to offer it to her. "No!" Courtney said quickly, a freaked out look on her face. "I mean, no thanks."
"What, are you on a diet or something?" Duncan asked.
"No! I just don't like green jelly, okay?" Courtney snapped, crossing her arms.
Beth shrugged, walking over to DJ, Duncan, and Y/N, offering them the jello instead. "No thanks, I'm good," Y/N said. Instead of saying something, DJ screamed, "Snake!" and knocked the platter out of Beth's hands, the jello all over the ground.
"Chill dude, it's just a gummy worm," Cody said, holding up the gummy worm.
"Sorry for trippin'," DJ sighed. "Snakes just freak me out."
"I feel you," Tyler said, patting DJ on the back. "Chickens give me the creeps, dude."
"You're afraid of chickens?" Gwen asked.
"Wow, that's, that's really lame man," Duncan laughed.
~Confessionals~ "So suddenly, everyone's having this big share fest by the fire," Gwen said. "Like Beth went on and on about how her mortal fear is being covered by bugs, Harold's afraid of ninjas, even Heather admitted she's afraid of sumo wrestlers."
--
"What's my worst fear?" Gwen shivered. "I guess being buried alive."
"Walking through a minefield. In heels," Lindsay said shakily.
"Flying, man," Owen admitted. "That's some crazy stuff."
"I would never go up in a plane! Never!" Izzy chimed in.
"I'm scared of hail," Geoff said. "It's small but deadly, dude."
"Being left alone in the woods," Bridgette said, looking down.
"Bad haircuts," Sadie said tearfully. "Oh, okay! I changed mine!" Lindsay said. "That's so much scarier than a minefield!"
Cody had to think about it before giving her answer. "Having to diffuse a time bomb under pressure."
"Open areas of water," Y/N bit her tongue. "Like lakes and oceans."
"I'm not really afraid of anything," Courtney said proudly.
"Bullshit," Duncan said, disguising it with a cough.
"Oh really?" Courtney said. "Well what exactly is your phobia?"
Everyone around the campfire looked at Duncan, curious to see what the fearless badass was most afraid of. Even Y/N, who Duncan talked to the most on the island, didn't have a single clue what Duncan was afraid of.
"Celine Dion music store standees," Duncan muttered, his head down. Y/N started giggling uncontrollably, covering her mouth when Duncan glared her, still giggling even though her hand was covering her mouth. "Not funny," he glared. "Oh yes it is," Y/N laughed.
"Exsqueeze me?" Cody smirked. "I didn't quite get that."
"Dude, did you say Celine Dion music store standees?" Trent asked. Duncan hid his face in his hands, embarrassed that everyone was laughing at him.
"Ooh! I love Celine Dion!" Lindsay squealed, before a look of confusion appeared on her face. "What's a standee?"
"It's the cardboard cutout that stands either outside in the inside the music store," Y/N explained, still slightly giggling.
"Don't say it!" Duncan snapped.
"Kind of like a flat Celine," Y/N smirked.
"So if we had a cardboard standee right now..." Courtney smiled.
"Shut up!" Duncan shouted, covering his face. "What about you, huh?" he pointed to Trent.
"Okay, well I hate mimes," Trent said. "Like a lot, alright." Courtney rolled her eyes.
"Courtney you have to be afraid of something," Y/N said. "Everybody said what they're afraid of. Now it's your turn."
"Nope, nothing," she smirked.
"That's not what she said last night," Duncan whispered to Y/N, Geoff, and DJ.
"Duncan, did you ever consider that maybe I was just humoring you and your lame-o story?" Courtney frowned.
"Sure princess. Whatever floats your boat," Duncan smirked.
"Shut up!" Courtney snapped.
A little bit after that, everyone decided that it was too late, and they decided to head to bed. Y/N said goodnight to her other friends like Gwen, Trent, and Leshawna, and headed off to the Killer Bass cabin.
Tumblr media
It was the next morning, each teams were sitting at their respected table in the mess hall, a bowl of Chef's oatmeal in front of everyone. Chris was at the front of the mess hall, grinning mischievously at all the of the campers.
"Campers, your next challenge is a game I like to call Phobia Factor," Chris said. "Prepare to face your worst fears!"
Y/N immediately froze up, her eyes widening.
"Worse than this?" Leshawna pointed to Chef's disgusting breakfast. "We're in trouble," Gwen said.
"For our first victimes, Heather, meet us all in the theater. It's sumo time!" Heather spit out her tea all over Trent.
"Gwen, you, me, the beach, a few tons of sand?" Gwen gasped and her eyes widened, a scared look on her face.
"Wait, how did they know those were your worst fears?" Lindsay asked.
"Because we told them," Gwen sulked, putting her head on the table. Lindsay still had a confused look on her face. "At the campfire last night," Trent said, patting Gwen on the back.
"Wait! They were listening to us?" Lindsay shrieked, standing up.
"It's a reality show, Einstein," Gwen frowned. "They're always listening to us."
"That's like, eavesdropping!"
"Chef Hatchet, didn't you have a special order for Tyler here today?" Chris asked. Chef, who was frying something up, nodded his head, a malicious smirk on his face. Chef handed Tyler a fried up chicken, Tyler grabbing it with a freaked out look. He hesitantly took a bite. Nothing happened at first, but then a chicken appeared where he took a bite, making him scream loudly.
After that, Chris had everyone gather outside to watch Beth face her fear. What she had to do was jump into a kiddie pool filled with worms. It made Y/N cringe when she imagined all those slimy worms all over her.
Everyone else seemed to think the same thing, everyone had disgusted looks on her faces, DJ even threw up.
Beth didn't seem to have a problem with it, shrugging and jumping into the kiddie pool. Y/N grabbed Duncan's arm when one of the worms was really close to touching her.
"Are you scared of a little worm?" he laughed.
"Oh shut up, you're scared of cardboard cutouts,"
That shut Duncan up real quick.
Beth was at the bottom of the kiddie pool for a few seconds, resurfacing with a big smile on her face, and worms covering her and inside her mouth, earning the Screaming Gophers a point and making Y/N wanting to puke. "And Beth sets the bar way up there," Chris said, making the Screaming Gophers cheer and Owen faint.
Next it was Lindsay and Sadie's turn, the two of them having to wear very ugly wigs. The two of them had very terrified looks on their faces, cringing as Chris very slowly.
Then it was Owen and Izzy's turn, the two of them having to fly up in very poorly looking plane flown by Chef. Y/N watched from the ground as she saw the plane fly, the plane doing all these rolls and flips. It would have been cool to see if the plan didn't look like it was about to fall apart.
It was Harold's turn next. He was in the bathroom when ninjas ambushed him. Obviously Y/N didn't see what happened, but the Chris told their team that Harold knocked himself out with nun chucks. So no point for them.
Everyone watched as Leshawna was chased by Chef dressed in a ridiculous spider costumer, Leshawna shrieking and screaming as she was chased. It made Y/N want to laugh, but Leshawna was her friend, so she didn't.
After that, everyone gathered around the outdoor amphitheater, sitting on the bleachers to watch Heather confront  a sumo wrestler. "Oh this is gonna be good," Y/N smirked, watching as Heather shook as she looked at the sumo wrestler. The sumo wrestler came running towards her, an angry look on his face. In response, Heather crouched in fear, the wrestler tripped over her and rolled down the hill, earning the Screaming Gophers their second point.
"It'll be okay, Bridge," Y/N hugged Bridgette before she had to face her fear. Her challenge was she had to spend six hours in solitude in the woods.
"Thanks, Y/N," she said shakily. "I'll be okay, I promise."
After Bridgette walked into the woods, Y/N went to the beach to watch Gwen face her fear. She was in a glass box, and all she had to was stay buried for five minutes.
"There's enough air for an hour, you only need to do five minutes," Trent comforted.
"As long as we decide to dig you up," Chris said, shoveling the sand onto the glass box.
"Not funny, Chris!" Gwen shakily cried, genuinely freaked out.
"Sheesh, take a pill," Chris smirked.
"I'll be listening to whole time," Trent smiled, handing Gwen a walkie talkie. "Just yell for me if you panic and I'll dig you right up."
"Goodbye cruel world," Gwen said as Trent closed the air slot, Chris continued to bury her.
After that it was DJ's turn. Everybody went back to the theater to watch him conquer his fear, which was having to touch a tiny little snake.
"Hey, you can do this buddy!" Duncan cheered.
"Yeah, go DJ!" Y/N hollered.
DJ stood on the stage, shaking and deciding whether he should just do it, or risk losing the challenge for the team. "It blinked!" he screamed, jumping back.
"It means she likes you," Sadie called out.
Courtney rolled her eyes. "It's the smallest snake ever, DJ, come on!"
"Yeah but it's slimy and scaly and slithery-"
"We need this point DJ!" she screamed. "Suck it up!" Y/N rolled her eyes and scowled. She really hated when Courtney acted like this. Everyone else on the team seemed to think the same thing.
"What, we're heading back to Loserville, people," Courtney said.
"Doesn't mean you have to be a bitch about it," Y/N muttered.
"What was that, Y/N?"
"Oh, nothing,"
DJ took a deep breath and with his eyes closed, very slowly picked up the snake with his finger, earning the Killer Bass a point and making everyone cheer.
"See, fear is only in the mind," Courtney said.
Now it was Trent's turn. Trent was supposed to be keeping Gwen company while she was still buried, but got distracted and started running when he saw a mime. "Just talk to him bro! And ask him to go away!" Chris said using a megaphone. "Okay, we've got two minutes before Gwen's done. Cody, you're up."
Chris told everyone else to go back to the campsite while he dealt with Cody. Cody had only ten minutes to diffuse a trash can bomb. If he didn't diffuse the bomb in time, it would explode, garbage going everywhere.
Now it was Duncan's turn. A few feet in front of him was a Celine Dion cardboard cutout. Y/N stood next to a scared and terrified Duncan. "Isn't she pretty?" Y/N asked. "I promise you, she's really nice."
"Just one hug and you're done," Chris snapped his fingers.
"That-that looks really real, man," Duncan stuttered.
"Dude she's made of cardboard!" Tyler shouted. "Get in the game!"
"Hey, you can back out if you want," Y/N smiled, grabbing Duncan's hand. "No one's forcing you yo do anything, besides Courtney. But if you don't want to do this, that okay."
Duncan took a deep breath, blushing a little bit when he realized Y/N was still holding his hand. "All right, I'll try," he said.
"You got this," Y/N grinned.
"Okay, okay," Duncan hyped himself before running towards the cutout with his arms open. With a determined look on his face, he hugged the cardboard cutout, lifting it up in the air, and earning another point. The Killer Bass started cheering and hollering. Y/N had the biggest grin on her face as she walked towards Duncan.
"I did it!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah you did!" Y/N said, the two of them hugging each other. After a second they realized what they were doing, and let each other go, chuckling awkwardly.
"Sorry about that," Y/N coughed.
"Nah, you're fine, it's okay," Duncan said, the two of them looking anywhere else.
"Y/N, it's your turn," Chris said. Shit. "Go change into your swimsuit and be at the beach in five minutes."
Tumblr media
Five minutes later, Y/N was standing on the sandy beach in her swimsuit, multiple different thoughts going through her head. Thank God Duncan was going swimming with her, or else she would of quit the challenge before it had even began.
"All right, Y/N. All you need to do is swim around for only fifteen minutes," Chris explained.
"Yeah, yeah I can do this," Y/N shakily said, walking into the cold water. Duncan didn't say anything, walking behind her.
Y/N walked stiffly toward the edge of the dock. The lake seemed darker up close, like it went on forever underneath. Duncan stepped up beside her, shirt off, tattoos visible under the fading light. Y/N wished she had a little more time to admire his tattoos and lean build.
“You ready?” he asked.
“No.”
“Too bad,” he said, grinning. “Come on. I’ve got you.”
She hesitated, then jumped with him.
The cold smacked her in the chest like a punch. Panic clawed up her throat instantly. Her arms flailed. “Y/N. Hey.” Duncan swam closer, steady hands on her shoulders. “You’re okay. I’ve got you. Just breathe.”
She clung to him without thinking, eyes wide and gasping. “I can’t—I can’t—”
“Yes, you can,” he said firmly. “You’re not sinking. I’m right here.” Slowly, she nodded. Her breathing evened out.
They floated for a bit. She gripped the water like it might turn solid if she tried hard enough.Ten minutes in, she was swimming small laps near the dock. Not graceful, but alive.
“You’re doing better than I expected,” Duncan said, watching her.
She smirked weakly. “Thanks for the vote of confidence.”
He swam beside her for a moment, then asked, quietly, “Why are you so scared of this stuff anyway?”
She froze mid-stroke. Water lapped softly around them.
He waited.
Y/N sighed. “When I was six… before my mom left, she was supposed to be watching me at this apartment pool. She said she’d be right back, just going inside to answer the phone. Told me to stay out of the water.”
Duncan stayed silent, eyes on her.
“I didn’t listen. I went in. Slipped on the steps. Went under.”
She glanced away, like she could still taste chlorine in the back of her throat. “I remember the water in my nose. Couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t scream. Just sinking. Everything felt huge and empty. I honestly thought I was gonna die.”
“Your mom find you?”
“Eventually. I don’t know how long I was under. A neighbor pulled me out.” Her voice turned brittle. “My mom was too busy yelling about me not listening to even realize how scared I was.”
They floated in silence for a moment.
“That’s why I don’t do water,” she finished softly. "If I can’t see the bottom, it’s like… it all comes back.”
Duncan nodded, his face unusually serious. “That’s messed up. But you’re not that kid anymore.”
She met his eyes. “Don’t feel like it.”
“You don’t have to,” he said. “You’re still out here. That counts.”
The buzzer on the dock went off. Chris’s voice echoed across the water. “And that’s fifteen minutes, baby! Phobia faced!” Y/N let out a shaky laugh and swam toward the dock. Duncan followed, climbing up beside her.
He handed her a towel without a word. She took it, hands trembling slightly. “Thanks,” she muttered. “For asking.”
He shrugged. “Thanks for not letting me drown out there.”
She rolled her eyes. “Please. You’d cling to me like a leech.”
He grinned. “If it means getting that close to you, maybe.”
She bumped his shoulder with hers, smiling despite herself.
Tumblr media
Everyone was beginning to finish their challenges. Gwen got dug up, Lindsay and Sadie got to take off their ugly wigs, and Izzy an Owen got off the plane, kissing the ground as soon as the touched the ground.
Now it was Tyler's turn, everyone gathered around a chicken coop to watch as he faced his fear.
"All right gang, we're in the ninth inning," Chris said. "Tyler, for your challenge, you need to get in this pen for three minutes with these chickens." Chris opened up a box to reveal a chicken with two baby chicks.
"You can do it Tyler!" Y/N cheered.
"Yeah, unless of course you're chicken," Duncan laughed. Y/N hit him hard in the ribs, hoping it would leave a bruise.
"I'm not sure we're getting anywhere on this one," Chris said. Tyler was in the pen, but he was completely frozen, rocking himself back and forth on the ground.
"Tyler, this is the last challenge, quit being such a girl!" Courtney snapped. "You have to do this or we're going to lose."
Cody pulled out a calculator, pressing all sorts of buttons. "Actually, if you do the math, you can't possibly win and the score's seven to four."
"Not necessarily," Chris smirked. "We've got one more challenge set up."
"Who? It can't be me," Courtney said. "But I didn't-"
"You didn't have to," Chris interrupted. "W"e're always watching you and your reactions."
Y/N though back on it. What was Courtney afraid of? She replayed last night in her head, trying to remember if Courtney reacted strangely to something. Then it hit her.
"You're afraid of green jelly?" Y/N burst out. "You're getting on us for not getting over our fears but you're afraid of something so simple as green jelly? Oh man, that's way too much."
Courtney glared at her, but didn't say anything, too embarrassed to speak.
"I knew it!" Lindsay said. "Didn't I tell you guys they were eavesdropping?"
"Oh, who cares," Courtney said. "It's not going to make a difference."
"Let's make this interesting then," Chris said, walking up to Courtney. "I'll give you triple points if you can complete it."
Courtney sighed but agreed to the challenge. A few minutes after that, everyone was standing at the bottom of a tall diving board, a pool of green jelly at the bottom, which Chef was stirring. Courtney looked up in disbelief.
"You're afraid of jelly," Duncan giggled.
"Shut up!" Courtney seethed. "Only the green kind. It's like sugary, jiggly snot!"
"You can face your fear and dive straight into this pool of jelly," Chris said. "Or let your team lose yet another challenge."
Courtney sighed, her head down as she walked to the ladder and began to climb. "This is insane. I could seriously die doing this."
"Oh, that is cruel," Gwen cringed. "It's probably warm by now. Warm, green jelly. Snotty, bouncy-"
"You're not going to make me quit!" Courtney yelled down as she climbed. After a few more seconds, she finally got to the top, her legs seemingly turning into jelly as she looked down. After a moment, Courtney covered her face with her hands. "I can't do it! I'm coming down!"
The Killer Bass looked down and sighed in disappointment, the Screaming Gophers cheering that they got another win.
"Then there you have it," Chris smiled into the camera. "The Gophers win invincibility this week. Again."
Y/N walked away from everyone, frustrated that the Bass lost another challenge. She was definitely voting Courtney off, that stupid hypocrite.
Tumblr media
An hour later, it was time for the elimination ceremony. Chris had already handed the marshmallows the campers who had completed their challenge. Y/N chewed on her marshmallow as she watched the rest of the ceremony unfold.
"There are only two marshmallows left on this plate," Chris said. The only campers who didn't receive a marshmallow were Bridgette, Tyler, and Courtney. "The three of you did not complete your challenges today. One of you is going home tonight and cannot return. Ever. The next name I'm gonna call, Bridgette."
Y/N was relieved to see that Bridgette was leaving. She really hoped that Tyler was staying instead of Courtney. Although she hardly talked to Tyler, she liked him a lot more than she liked Courtney.
"The final marshmallow of the night goes to, Courtney,"
Fuck.
"You'll get that chicken next time," Duncan smirked, patting Tyler on the shoulder. Tyler got up from his trunk and walked very slowly to the dock.
"Looks like a new pecking order has been established here," Chris joked.
"It's not like he can cry fowl," Duncan chuckled.
"Time for Tyler to fly the coop," Geoff laughed.
"He won't be flying high tonight," Bridgette giggled.
"Okay that's enough!" Courtney stood up.
Tumblr media
The air smelled like smoke and pine, and the lake in the distance was quiet now—no cameras, no yelling, no challenges. Just stillness.
Y/N sat on a worn log her arms around her knees. She stared into the night sky, replaying everything that had happened earlier, diving into the water, the panic, Duncan’s voice pulling her back to the surface.
She heard footsteps crunching over dry leaves.
“You always brood this dramatically, or is it just a post-trauma thing?” Duncan’s voice broke through the quiet, teasing but softer than usual.
She smiled faintly without looking at him. “Just trying to decompress.”
He sat beside her, close enough that their shoulders nearly touched, but not quite. Neither of them spoke for a moment, watching the stars in the sky.
“I never said thank you,” she said eventually, glancing at him. “For earlier. For staying with me in the lake.”
He gave a one-shouldered shrug. “Wasn’t a big deal.”
“It was to me.”
He didn’t respond right away. Just stared into the fire, jaw ticking like he wanted to say something but didn’t know how to start.
After a beat, he muttered, “You did good. Most people would’ve bailed.”
“I almost did.”
“Yeah, but you didn’t. That’s what matters.”
Something about the way he said it made her chest tighten. She watched the flickering light dance across his face, normally so smug and unreadable, but right now, he looked… different. Open. Guard down.
“You surprised me, you know,” she said quietly.
“By not being a total ass?” he smirked.
“By giving a shit,” she said, nudging his boot with hers. I didn’t think you’d actually get in the water.”
He chuckled. “Yeah, well… guess I don’t always do what people expect.”
They lapsed into silence again. Not uncomfortable, just heavy with things unsaid. Riley could feel the words forming in the back of her throat, unspoken and fragile: I like you. But she swallowed them down.
He probably didn’t feel the same way.
Duncan glanced sideways at her. She looked tired but strong, hair messy from the lake and wind, eyes glowing in the firelight. He wanted to say something too, something real. But the thought made his stomach twist.
Instead, he said, “You gonna be okay next time we hit the water?”
Y/N nodded slowly. “I think so. I mean, I’ll still freak out. Just… less.”
“You can always hang on to me,” he joked, but it came out gentler than usual.
She smiled. “I might take you up on that.”
Another moment of silence. This one stretched a little too long. She wanted to stay. He didn’t want her to leave. Neither moved.
Eventually, Y/N stood up, brushing ash off her hands. “I should get some sleep.”
“Yeah,” Duncan said, standing too. “Me too.”
They both hesitated.
“Night, Duncan.”
“Night, Y/N”
She turned and walked toward the cabins, the fire’s glow fading behind her. Duncan watched her go, scratching the back of his neck, heart beating faster than he liked to admit.
Why the hell did she have to make it so hard not to like her?
Y/N climbed the steps to her cabin, closed the door softly, and leaned against it with a sigh.
Why does he have to be so impossible to read?
Neither of them knew the other was standing on the edge of the same feeling.
But for now… that was close enough.

hiii i have a parx request!!
i am in desperate need of reader dying awstens hair or doing his makeup for when he goes on stage 🧎‍♂️
Banana Peels - Awsten Knight x Reader
Word Count: 1158
A/N: Rahhh so cuteeee I need more parx requests hehe
Tumblr media
The air backstage was a whirlwind of energy—roadies rushing around, cords tangled in impossible knots, and the muffled sound of the opening band leaking through the walls. Awsten was pacing, as usual, rattling off a string of nonsense that alternated between hyping himself up and full-blown existential dread.
“What if I trip onstage?” he blurted, mid-stride. “Not like a little stumble, but, like, wipe out so hard the crowd collectively cringes? Do you think they’d throw stuff at me? I’d throw stuff at me.”
“Awsten,” I said, holding up the box of hair dye I was trying to wrestle open, “are you seriously spiraling over a completely hypothetical and impossibly unlikely situation right now?”
“First of all,” he shot back, pointing dramatically at me, “yes. Second of all, that box is winning. Need me to—”
“Don’t you dare touch it. Sit down.”
He sighed theatrically but obeyed, plopping into the folding chair in front of the mirror. His reflection smirked at me as I finally conquered the box, gloves already snapped on and the dye tube at the ready. It wasn’t the first time I’d done this—probably wouldn’t be the last either—but the way his face lit up every time we did these pre-show rituals made it feel like a first all over again.
“I’m just saying,” he said as I started parting his hair into sections, “some people have banana peels thrown at them as, like, a metaphor for life. Mine are real, and they’re waiting for me out there.”
“You’re so weird,” I muttered, unable to suppress a laugh. He tilted his head back to grin up at me, and for a second, I forgot what I was doing. His smile had a way of knocking the wind out of people if they weren’t prepared—not that I ever could be.
“That’s why you keep me around,” he said smugly.
“No,” I corrected, running the comb through his hair to spread the dye evenly. “I keep you around because you’d look like a hot mess onstage if I didn’t.”
“Rude,” he replied, but his eyes sparkled with amusement.
It was moments like these—him sitting still for once, the chaos outside reduced to background noise—that I cherished. I got to see a side of Awsten that felt raw and unfiltered, like all his bravado and stage presence melted away under the fluorescent dressing room lights. He was just Awsten, the boy with half a brain cell and a knack for making my chest ache in the best way.
“So,” he started after a beat of silence, “what’s the vibe tonight? Am I going full-on alien prince? Goth vampire? Surfer dude with emotional baggage?”
I cocked an eyebrow at him in the mirror. “Do you even know what surfer dude with emotional baggage would look like?”
“No,” he admitted, “but I feel like you do. You’re, like, freakishly good at this.”
“Thanks,” I said, softening. Compliments from Awsten were rare—when he wasn’t deflecting with jokes, he was usually too busy roasting everyone in his vicinity. “But I was thinking more along the lines of chaotic neon dream. Something that’ll make people’s eyes hurt, but in a good way.”
“You’re a genius,” he declared, as if I hadn’t heard it before.
The hair dye was setting by the time I pulled out the makeup kit, and that’s when the real fun began. Awsten leaned forward, elbows on his knees, watching as I rifled through the mess of palettes and brushes. His knee bounced restlessly, and I placed a hand on it without thinking, steadying him.
“You’re gonna vibrate out of the chair,” I teased.
“What if I’m just excited?” he countered, but his voice was quieter now, almost shy. He straightened up, tilting his head as I approached with a brush in hand.
“Close your eyes,” I said, and he obeyed. For once, he didn’t argue or make a joke—he just let me work. I traced the brush carefully along his face, the closeness of it all making my pulse race. His skin was warm under my fingertips, and his breathing was slow and steady.
When I stepped back, he opened his eyes and looked at me instead of the mirror. “How’s it look?” he asked, his tone softer than I expected.
“Like a rockstar,” I said, clearing my throat. “The hottest mess out there.”
His laugh was loud and sudden, and it broke the tension like a bubble popping. “You really know how to hype a guy up,” he said, shaking his head. But his smile lingered, and I caught him glancing at the mirror like he couldn’t wait to see what I’d done.
The finishing touches were the hardest part. As I dabbed the last of the makeup onto his face, he leaned into my touch just slightly, his eyes closing again. I told myself it was nothing—that he was probably just tired or zoning out. But the way my hand lingered longer than necessary gave me away.
“Thanks for this,” he murmured suddenly, breaking the silence. “I’d be a disaster without you.”
I laughed, trying to play it cool. “You’re a disaster with me. I’m just damage control.”
His eyes opened, and he looked at me—really looked at me, like he was searching for something he couldn’t quite name. “No, I mean it. You’re… you’re the only one who gets it. Gets me.”
My hands froze mid-motion, brush hovering near his jaw. The air felt heavier all of a sudden, like the world had shrunk down to just the two of us. “Awsten…”
“I’m serious,” he said, leaning back slightly but keeping his eyes on mine. “You’re… kinda my favorite person, you know that?”
My chest tightened, and I fought to keep my voice steady. “You’re just saying that because I’m the only one who’ll do your makeup without poking your eye out. He grinned, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Maybe. Or maybe you’re just really good at being… you.” I didn’t know what to say to that, so I focused on finishing the highlighter and stepping back to admire my work. He turned to the mirror, and for a moment, the room was quiet except for the faint sounds of the opening band still playing.
When he looked back at me, his smile was softer, almost shy.
“You’re a miracle worker.”
“Go knock ’em dead,” I said, shoving the makeup kit aside and peeling off my gloves. My voice sounded steadier than I felt.
Awsten stood, bouncing on the balls of his feet like a kid hyped up on sugar. But before he walked out the door, he paused, glancing back at me. “You sure you don’t wanna come out and take a bow? You deserve some credit for this masterpiece.” I rolled my eyes, shoving him gently toward the door.
“Get out there, rockstar.”
And as he disappeared into the chaos of the stage, I let myself smile, the weight of his words still lingering in the air.
