Had no plans to add Romeo to my nonsense AU but naturally I ended up thinking about what I'd even do with him if rez'd… So here is a slightly unpalatable bitter young man. But variety is the spice of life.

The twins are [adults] and P can lock down Carlo himself if he gets too unruly so there's really no need for anyone to look after them but what can I say Geppetto has issues.

"P..?" You blink, eyeing your companion as he holds your hand. Having gone used to holding the porcelain hand as he looks ahead. His grip... It was VERY tight. "Uh-Ok ow.. OW Ow Ow-!?"

He forgets that you aren't like him...

He knows your more fragile than he is, yet he can't help but be... Comfortable in your presence. Your fun answers and determination ignited something within his "Heart".

It beats, it yearns for more.. More than to be human. Something that can be with you until-

P retracts his grip as you cradle your hand. Trying to shake it off as best you could, smiling at him with reassurance, even if it was a clear lie.

The nameless puppet put all his strength together, one last time. His weapon raised, his body moving towards and striking down. Geppetto tried to jump between his 'son' and 'creation', but he wasn't quickly enough. But someone else was. The sound of metal hitting flesh and blood echoed through the room. A cough shortly followed.

Between the Nameless Puppet and the puppet man was [Name], impaled by it's scissors shaped blade. "I... Know you didn't want to kill him... You just wanted... It to stop... But not like this Car-..." They dropped to their knees, quickly caught by P. Geppetto could only stare as the Nameless Puppet dropped to the ground while P held his injured lover. The man wanted to yell, to finish it himself, but what happened before his face stopped him.

"I am sorry... I... I was so scared. I had to do it", [Name] whispered while the blood filled their lungs. They could feel their lovers hand cupping their cheek, so gentle and warm. Has he always been like this? "Please... Be careful. Don't... Let anyone decide what you should do... With your life", tears started to drop down their cheeks. "Please. Just life my love... And you...", they pulled all their strength together to turn their head around, "Do the right thing... Don't mess up again... For Carlo... For him... Don't let new chance be a waste. Be a good father for him".

As they turned their head around, the felt another wetness on their face, but it was not from their tears. They looked at the puppetman's face to meet with tears filled eyes. He cried. He cried for the first time and it was for them.

With one last smile and the gentle touch of their hands they pulled him down for a kiss and spoke: "I... Wish... Your first cry would have been out of happiness and joy. I am... Sorry... That it came like this... Please don't cry anymore... Please... Forgive me... Have... A good life... I love... You"

Oh look at this! A Lies of P / Hunger Games crossover au I've been sitting on for a while. (District 12 reaping)

lolololol This wasn't the first comic I made of the au, but I guessed that I should post it first. I wasn't too happy with how it turned out but considering I've just sat on this au for months without posting anything, I've decided to post it anyway. Better to at least have it out there than gathering dust in a folder to never be seen. And who knows, the last time I did this with an au I was reluctant to post (the infamous second son mer! au), turned out a few people actually loved the idea. So long as there are a few out there that this can inspire, it's worth posting.

I'm rambling. ANYWAY I have no idea who the second tribute of 12 is gonna be, maybe I should just shove in a background oc as filler so at least a design can be consistent. Same goes for the capitol person for district 3. And I'm reluctant to just use characters from the HG cuz this world is verrry different from canon hunger games because of me mashing together krat and the districts.

Regardless, Suggestions are always appreciated!!!! I already have an idea for mainly Geppetto, Vanigni, P, Romeo, Carlo, Sophia and Eugenie, but other than those characters it's all rather loose. plus I haven't actually played the game myself so it's not like I know the characters that well.

I've already made some other comics so look out for those uwu

Back to modern day!Penigni AU brainrot

P purposely boycotts all his dad's fav authentic Italian restaurants not bc the food isnt great (because it is holy shit) but mostly bc his dad is friends with all the owners and he swears they spy on him when his dads not around on his behalf (college aged young adult trying to get out of their parents shadow but they still rely on them for everything & live with them etc etc paranoia)

So when it's time to pick a date night spot for he and Venigni he takes him to this fakeass cheap American Italian restaurant instead

And Venigni is horror stricken by what he witnesses in this place. He keeps trying to make conversation with the waitress who actually knows nothing about Italy. He is offended by what he sees on the menu being claimed to be authentic

"What is this alfredo sauce????"

The girl is so fucking embarrassed bc man she's just a high schooler and here Venigni is asking her to bring out the owner and/or head chef for a talking to

Meanwhile P is just. Pretending to stay cool like

The whole time. BC he knew better and still he fucked up and god does Venigni still even want to be with him anymore hes literally DYING inside bc this night could not have gone any worse and his father was right, his father was right this whole time about these restaurants--

Also DW Venigni gives the waitress a massive (like $1k) tip for the trouble and also offers to buy a portion of the restaurant so he can help make it better and more authentic, send them to Italy for training by chefs, etc etc etc

By the end of it all, Venigni is cheerfully walking out with P and babbling about all his ideas on how to improve the place and P is just

"I just dodged the biggest bullet. Carlo can never know about this."

But also he's really happy that Venigni isn't actually upset about the date so ajdjdkdmd. He agrees to let Venigni pick the place next time cuz fuck that pressure was too great LOL

But Carlo hears about it anyway bc Venigni cannot keep his mouth shut. He thinks it was adorable so ofc he gossips to Geppetto while standing at the door to bring P home for the evening like a true gentleman.

where instead of Geppetto stealing Pinocchio’s entire goddamn heart, he only took the half containing Carlo’s memories, allowing him to bring Carlo back without Pinocchio losing his freedom (technically). The two are technically half-brothers now, since they share (half) a heart, and Geppetto now has 2 sons. I might make some changes in this au to cannon too.
