Im from Germany and one of my favourite things is that the german voice of Ewan McGregor's Obi Wan Kenobi and Orlando Bloom's Legolas are voiced by one and the same guy. His name is Philipp Moog.

Update: He also voiced Peter Facinelli's Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight Movies

Okay, guys, listen. There is something I need to tell you that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately and the sheer amazingness of it sends me every. single. time.
So, for those of you who don’t know me too well, I’m a huge voice actor nerd. And ever since Pedro Pascal dragged me into Star Wars, shouting “this is the way”, I’ve rediscovered my utter love for the voice actors of my home country, Germany.
And this is where the story starts. Funnily enough, with Luke Skywalker.
Ever since A New Hope got out, Luke (or rather, Mark Hamill) has been dubbed by the same guy, a man by the name of Hans-Georg Panzcak. He voiced him in The Last Jedi, he voiced him in Star Wars Battlefront II, he voiced him everywhere.
But he didn’t voice him in The Mandalorian. Ever since that series, Luke has a new voice actor. And my heart skips a beat whenever I think about it. When I first saw Luke in the Mandalorian, I was pleasantly surprised. I cheered. And the moment Luke opened his mouth, I almost bawled right then and there.
Because the new voice actor for Luke is none other than Hans-Georg Panczak’s son! HIS SON HAS TAKEN OVER THE ROLE OF LUKE AND I’M SCREAMING EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT IT!
His son’s name is Jan Makino and he’s also super talented and has lots of roles he’s dubbed over the years.
At first I thought it was a fluke, but Jan Makino also dubs Luke in The Book of Boba Fett and I, for one, couldn’t be happier about this.
So forgive my innate rambling, but this had to get out.
I’ve spent a week thinking if I should post this here, but today I said screw it, I’m doing it.
Thank you Hans-Georg Panczak for giving Luke a voice. And thank you Jan Makino for carrying the torch. That is all.

perhaps an unpopular opinion but i really think having no full voice acting (regardless of its quality ..) was a key part in the zelda game vibe for me and i dearly miss it
besides its obvious benefits of being cheaper and easier to do, its just got a specific feel of ... i cant really describe it, but i miss it alot ........ plus its basically impossible to ruin our sour a character through bad or unfitting voice acting ..

EDIT: Now with some pics
German Dub Naruto things I remember from the top of my head from my teenage years:
The giant Shuriken that Iruka shields Naruto from isn't there, Iruka just kinda hovers over him perfectly fine and is sad and they both cry.
Haku doesn't die, they edit out his corpse and Sakura says "he just disappeared"
Kakashi just kinda tapped his palm on Haku's chest like they're playing tag and I guess Haku was so embarrassed that he skipped town
They got so censor-mad that they sometimes edited out Naruto's whiskers cuz they thought they were scratches
The Sasunaru kiss isn't onscreen (I think they do that in the American version too) (Edit: I have just learned that the kiss is in the US version, so Germany fucked this one up too)
The Uchiha clan doesn't get killed, they're all taken prisoner and kidnapped, and Sasuke never bothers to look for them.
Sasuuke Uschiha
I think they removed the blood from Naruto's cheek and Anko just kinda randomly licks his face
"Eternal sleep"
The condition to get the Mangekyou Sharingan is not "kill your best friend", but "betray your best friend". In the original, at the end of the first part, Sasuke ends up betraying all his friends, including Naruto who is the most important person to him, but refuses to kill him, not meeting the conditions for the Mangekyou Sharingan and therefore not getting it. But in the German version, he does meet the condition, because it was just betray your best friend, which he does, and he still doesn't get the Mangekyou, implying that Itachi scammed him.
The worst anime opening in existence

You ever hear voice acting so good, you're almost scared that the directors were pulling some Truman-Show shit on the voice actors?

Ohhhhhh that ending so solidified the anime adaptation in and of itself and made it very complete as a story (a little bit saddened since it doesn't feel like there might be season 2 with the way the ending changed from the the manga's plot points, at least not anytime soon until we get to some other arcs in the manga!)
Also ngl I kept re-watching some of the sign language scenes with Yuki and Itsu just because of how PRETTY the animation was for it. This anime honestly impressed me with the details in animation.
Man the anime did such a lovely job with its adaptation. I'd love to see at least an ONA or something with Yuki and Itsu and the gang giving us sign language lessons. I need to see more of them ughhhh.
I love A Sign of Affection sm y'all. This is my 10/10 anime this year.

If you want some music to enhance your Dracula Daily experience and also maybe want to try some non english music may I recommend the Album Finsternis from E Nomine.
The Songs are in german/latin and while they don't follow the book a lot of them are very much inspired by it. The songs themself tell a story as well, and you always have an short Interlude followed by a song.
The music can be described (copied from Wiki) as monumental vocal style, is a combination of trance, techno, and vocals which closely resemble Gregorian singing and chanting.

Twice upon a time...
...there was a scottish actor who played the Doctor in the modern era of Doctor Who. (Bonus he was in his 50s during that)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since I like him, I wanted to check out some other stuff he was in. So I started a TV show with 3 seasons...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In this show he played the first season's main antagonist.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His character was the only interessing one to me. While I couldn't care less about the actual main character(s)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok there was one of the main characters who was likable...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately the antagonist loses and dies at/after the first season's final and is not in the second and thrid season anymore. So I lost interest and stopped watching.
If I had a nickel every time this happens, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice...
I could happen a third time. Ncuti Gatwa I'm counting on you!

i know the internet is super english centered but i wish it was more common to mention the language whenever theres talk about a voice actor too, just say "the english voice actor of xyz"? that cant be too hard to do right??
i wish there was more appreciation for non-english voice actors!! in english spaces as well as in general! i know the names of many of the english cast for zelda even though i dont like any of them and have never set my game to it but know them simply bc they are the only ones getting any mention and they are always just called "the voice of" making it seem like that is THE one and only voice
im aware that its in part bc i am mostly in english speaking online spaces and the internet IS a very english centered thing but i dont think its wrong to wish for more recognition of other actors for languages other than english or to simply want them to mention to what language they are the actor of
like i dont mean that you gotta talk about every single different voice actor but i think just mentioning it like that more directly implies that there ARE others at all, especially since alot of games dont even do other voices at all and just make english the only voice over even if the game was developed by non-english people, i just find it sad :(

In addition to this post. Thank you @inconsistent-kuroshitsuji-blog and @thatevilwizard for information about the German in shown teaser! According to them, the German sounds slightly broken, but grammatically it's good. The first one was to be expected, but it's good to know that grammar is fine, showing that they actually put effort into it. I just want to wish luck to all the seiyuu's in this task, especially remembering how hard those 10 seconds of French in the Book of Murder were for Ono-san.😄 (Source)
Now I wonder how they will call this arc. Book of Werwolf Curse, maybe? xD

I can't believe they gave Angel Dust a german voice actor who literally was the voice of my childhood:
