The funniest part of the LOTR movies is Legolas. This man has like five lines total across all three movies but sometimes they'll zero in on his face during a big scene and he's having the BEST reactions. More flirting with Viggo and Orlando.

In this classic clip, two bearded, smelly humans tell the lithe, young elf how pretty he is. Look at it a particular way, and it almost looks a little malicious, the way these two ruggedly, manly men are leering at young Orlando with his flowy locks of blond hair and etherally beautiful appearance. Like a young waitress at a truck stop. There will be catcalls next.

Also, Orlando is too fond of the bow and arrow analogy... Methinks he's the one feeling a little threatened by the super handsome, manly humans. Because they flirt with him too much. And have very big swords.

This "digging" - i.e flirting - can be translated thus.

Viggo: You are so pretty. Orlando: Hrmph. I'm very manly! Viggo: Yeah, and very, very pretty. Orlando. Hrmph. You smell! Viggo: Yeah, and you smell like morning dew. Orlando. Ugh. You will die! Viggo: Yeah, and you'll be pretty and smell like roses forever and ever.
