Currently just for 911. BTS. I wrote for some anime fandoms back in the days of ffnet.

Absolutely. Might take some time but I love getting comments and replying to each one of them 🥺

None (yet?). I don't like writing angsty endings. Such a huge sucker for happy endings!

All of them? 😂 But I guess, without spoiling the ending, this probably counts as the happiest so far.

8-Do you get hate on your fics?

Not in this fandom no. (I've only received hate once, ever)

9-Do you write smut?

Yes. I've written drabbles but never a full fic because smut fics aren't my thing. I'm not very good at it because I tend to lose patience very fast 😂.

10-Craziest crossover?

None. I've never written crossovers. Generally not a fan of it. But in the future, who knows?

11-Have you ever had a fic stolen?

None that I'm aware of so far. I'm not known enough for this to happen 😂

12-Have you ever had a fic translated?

Someone offered to translate one with credits but I don't think it was ever posted 😂

13-Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not anything published. I'd love to try once but I'm not sure how that'd work.

14-All time favorite ship?

As someone who can never decide on anything this is the worst question you can ask me 😂. I love too many. Buddie is definitely one of the top ones along with Madney, Henren and Bathena. Others include Merthur, Cherik, Kagakuro, Makoharu, Root/Shaw, Morgwen, Stony, WinterFalcon, McDanno, SNS, WeiLan, Edwin, Stormpilot, TouYuu (my babies), KuroFei.

15-What’s a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

So far none.

16-What are your writing strengths?

Writing fluff probably; I've been told I write a lot of feels inducing fluff? 😂. I really love writing about gentle small acts of love between characters. Just them taking care of each other. Sappy stuff.

17-What are your writing weaknesses?

Time management and actually getting to the writing part 💀. My writing is very muse based, I can't just sit down and start writing like some people. It's truly a struggle 😭

18-Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

Never written any in mine. Read plenty and I'm fine with it. It's only slightly frustrating when the translation is not included because it takes me out of the story when I'm trying to read and translate at the same time.

19-First fandom you wrote in?

Before I even knew what fanfiction was, I had multiple notebooks glued together with the story of an OC in the X-men Evolution universe 😂. The officially published one is either Bleach or Naruto, can't remember.

20-Favorite fic you’ve written?

Listen, I really kind of love all of them. Not because they're good or whatever but because I wrote them you know. Like, I really created something. Every fic good or bad has a little piece of my soul in it so I just love all of them 🥺

And which one I like best differs from moment to moment. Currently it's probably Lies written in ink (can be facts too) because it was a bit of a different writing style for me.

👁️ATTENTION ANY LARPERS/POTENTIAL NEW LARPERS FOLLOWING ME👁️

Some of my friends (and also me) recently finished a really cool project - a tiny LARP diary that looks like a passport and is designed to be taken on events and filled in directly after play (or very carefully and aesthetically later at home, if you're into that).

It's got specially designed templates for recording several LARPs, plus a bunch of prompts/bucket lists/bingo boards and empty pages for whatever you want to add.

I made two sticker sheets for it - one is for tiny little symbols you can decorate the pages with to commemorate fun events like dying or stabbing someone, the other is gift stickers for your fellow players. You also get two more that my friend made.

I hate doing promos, but I'm genuinely super hype about it, cause it's the exact kind of thing I wish I had like ten LARPs ago, instead of writing stuff down on a bunch of crumpled loose papers and random notebooks.

So does anybody else ever think about how Loop felt the need to demonstrate that the party's deaths wouldn't have any effect on the loops. I know I do but that's besides the point. Anyway I don't think Loop actually needs to bathe, they just like to feel included.

This is just a small thing, but I’ve always wondered what kind of weapon Yugamu had. Yesterday, I found out that his weapon is a katar. It’s a type of punching sword/push dagger that originated from India).

I will admit I'm a little salty that people, in an effort to prove that there is no good dialogue in Veilguard at all, keep comparing mission exposition to the high point narrative set pieces of prior games. I agree that some of the writing related to plot mechanics and mission exposition in Veilguard is a little too utilitarian, but that doesn't mean none of the dialogue is good or that prior games didn't also sometimes have this issue here and there.

I also generally dislike when people put the bar for good writing — and all writing too, not even just dialogue writing, ALL writing — at mic-drop sentences that still sound good completely divorced from context, because that really just reduces "good writing" down to like fake-deep philosophizing or witty quips exclusively. sometimes, a really good bit of dialogue sounds like a completely normal sentence out of context.

sometimes i think about how big of a role trust, care, and love played in helping the veilguard defeating elgar'nan and ghilan'nain and i get kind of misty-eyed and have to lie down for a little. ngl.

I saw a staggeringly wrong post (I think from the same source as this take) about how TOS Kirk doesn't experience any meaningful suffering or angst, he just gets frustrated by challenges to his authority/command. The idea of him having real angst is just made up and projected onto him by fandom. Yes, this is the same James T. Kirk who feels the need to log this thought process: "No man achieves Starfleet command without relying on intuition, but have I made a rational decision? Am I letting the horrors of the past distort my judgment of the present?"

It feels almost like cheating to bring up the most obvious counter-examples tbh, but I actually find it really interesting that Kirk's most haunting fears/vulnerabilities throughout a bunch of episodes are so persistent and clear throughout the show as a whole. A major one, for instance, is his loneliness/dread of being abandoned to solitude. Ignoring everything except TOS:

"Dagger of the Mind":

HELEN: The machine wasn't on high enough to kill. KIRK: But he was alone. Can you imagine the mind emptied by that thing? Without even a tormentor for company.

SPOCK: He thought you'd like to know the treatment room has been dismantled and the equipment destroyed. KIRK: Thank you. MCCOY: It's hard to believe that a man could die of loneliness. KIRK [staring into the distance while the camera focuses on his almost blank eyes]: Not when you've sat in that room.

"Conscience of the King":

LENORE: At the party, you were such a brash young man. KIRK: And now? LENORE: Now somehow different. Not a ship's captain with all those people to be strong and confident in front of. You know, you're really very dear, aren't you? In some ways, very lonely.

MCCOY: Mr. Spock, the man on top walks a lonely street. The chain of command is often a noose.

"This Side of Paradise":

KIRK: Except for myself, all crew personnel have transported to the surface of the planet. Mutinied. Lieutenant Uhura has effectively sabotaged the communications station. I can only contact the surface of the planet. The ship can be maintained in orbit for several months, but even with automatic controls, I cannot pilot her alone. In effect, I am marooned here. I'm beginning to realize just how big this ship really is, how quiet.

"And the Children Shall Lead":

KIRK [provoked by the alien's powers into a panicked meltdown rooted in his deepest anxieties]: The ship is sailing on and on. I'm alone. Alone. Alone.

Ty Johnson is so special to me as a disabled hero and it's very sad to me that modern comics don't seem to include his stutter and learning disability nearly as much. Obviously, the original depictions of his autism and speech impediment were not the most tactful things and certainly the intersection of anti black racism and ableism looms large, but it also feels very sad and a very major missed opportunity to me that the reaction was to take away representation rather than update it with modern language and understandings.

It's gonna take me a while to fully gather my thoughts on the finale but god can you imagine the satisfaction Gemma felt seeing Mark, drenched in blood who looks like he's been dragged to hell and back hunting for her, gazing at her like he's seeing the sun for the first time??? FUCK.
