Loneliness is a huge problem especially now that in many countries you aren’t allowed to go outside or interact properly with people. But if you have a dog you have the best loneliness combat of all. Although I love animals, and especially dogs, I have never been a fan of Jack Russels, I find them too busy and attention-seeking. Nevertheless, by sheer chance we ended up being the “proud” owners of this lady. A2 has taken Peppa (the dog) as her own. Inseparable, she is a constant reminder to me of why kids need pets. We are going through major changes, and the kids are suffering a bit at this stage. But A2 is more ok than A1 and I think that can largely be attributed to Peppa. She finds comfort and security with her. They play together, eat together, and at night Peppa takes turns to sleep with both girls. What a blessing! I have now become a huge advocate for pets in general, but especially for kids.
