In 2006

tom kaulitz told bill kaulitz (his twin brother) That he wants to end it all (suicide) but his twin brother bill kaulitz told him not to because when they were kids at the age of 6 they made a lifetime promise that they will never leave each others side because they both are the only thing left for each both of them.

If you are asking why would tom kaulitz ever thing of such a thing (suicide) its because in the same exact year almost every person hated the band especially him (tom kaulitz) he saw how he is so hated and no one appreciated his work or songs or even effort, he said "why work so hard when no one gives a damn" which means why is he giving so much effort and no one even like him or appreciate it AT ALL so he thought its always gonna keep going like that so He wanted to end it Because he said (whats the point of such a hated life) so he wanted to commit suicide and relief every one and leave this world BUT BILL stopped him from doing that ..
