5. 12. 2024 Šéfová bude v kanceláři a zase si najde něco, co jsem udělala blbě. Kolegyně budou v kanceláři a zase si najdou způsob, jak neslyšet, že mluvím, snažím se vrátit k normální komunikaci a jen dělat svoji práci. Nikdo se mě nezeptá, jestli jdu na oběd nebo na kafe, ale budou se z obojího vracet uhihňaný a s významným tichem.

Toxický, glaslighting, šikana, manipulace, vydírání. Děje se to, ale jsem z toho osočovaná já. Všichni v okolí mi říkají, ať odejdu, že mi to zničí i zbytky psychický pohody, co mám. Snažím se nezmiňovat, že si občas kecnu doprostřed obýváku a rozbrečím se, že do práce nechci.

Všechno to nostalgicky zavání základkou. Jen jsem si nikdy nemyslela, že to budu řešit po třicítce.

Giving up smoking felt so hard and almost impossible when I was with my ex, but I haven't really touched them since leaving, or even crave them.

Every now and again one sounds so good, just the act of it, but never enough to actually do it, I litterally have cigs left over, so I have constant access to them. But nope, I feel so good without them.

Funny, as i used to wonder if she kept smoking, she blamed me for them, so she probably stopped so she could say it was me.

Heck, it could of been, we were just bad for each other. Although I had a thought a while ago, about the first cig I had when with her. I told her about how I have one ive had for yonks. She encouraged it, she encouraged me to smoke it and eventually it just esculated and us regularly smoking.

But oh, ofcourse, I was the sole reason that happened, she had no control and it was just me.

Soon realised she did the same with alcohol. We were out, Ive told her how I struggle with drinking and I have one and I just cant stop, which is why I want to be sober all the time.

Again, I mentioned it, and she encouraged it, to just have one. I did, and many more. Eventually she was like oh that makes me want to drink now, and eventually she was the one that was drinking and went out of her way to buy alcohol.

Oh but guess what! You guess it ! That was 10000% my fault, I caused her to break sobriety. I was fully responsible and in control of her actions.

Agitates me because thats the narrative she went with, and would tell people. She is this little victim every time that I caused her to start drinking. I caused the smoking.

Yes i did it, I am fully responsible for my actions too, I was the first to have that cigarette and first drink. But its so clear to me that she enabled that behaviour and wanted me to, because she wanted to, but didnt want to do it first, because that way, she can spin the narrative as im this bad person and influence. She can play victim to her friends that i was so bad I caused her to break sobriety after all these years.

She used me as a scape goat, she used me as an excuse to do what she wanted. It's just so clear to me now.

Imagine, just IMAGINE if i said that to her. Blamed her for smoking. Told her she is the reason I started and it's her fault.

The absolute meltdown she would have saying how im glaslighting or some bullshit, blame shifting ? Yea that's a big one she used haha, she would say how im a horrible person for blaming her and not taking accountability.

Which is so funny to me now because all she did was blame me for her actions lol

I am fully responsible for smoking and drinking, I took those actions. But guess what?? That means she is fully responsible to. But I dont think she can grasp that or accept that. As I know she'd be still playing the narrative that I was all on me.

I hope she changes though, and realsies and can one take take accountability.

Because i could easily go around saying those things were her fault, because in reality, would I of picked up smoking again if I was single all of last year? Absolutely not ! She influenced it, but I still chose to stay, I still chose to be with her, make it work and use it to cope. That is still on me.

I really do wonder if she will ever self reflect enough and realise she is also responsible for her actions.

Βασικά με είχε καλέσει στη πόλη του που κάνει ένα πάρτυ και του λέω αν μπορώ οικονομικά θα ρθω. Τελικά δεν έβγαινε και όταν του το είπα άρχισε τα ‘με κρεμασεσ’ και ότι ‘γνωρίζω για το πάρτυ ένα μήνα’ κάνοντας με να νιώθω πως του χάλασα το πάρτυ. Όταν τον ρώτησα πως τον επηρεάζω αρχικά μου λεγε απλά ότι τον επηρεάζω και μετά ότι απλά ήθελε να πάμε μαζί, που είναι εντελώς διαφορετικό από το ‘με επηρεάζεις και χάλασε το παρτυ’

Τεσπα τελικά καταφερα και θα πάω κι είπε χαίρεται αλλά του λέω χαίρεσαι μα έκανες λες και σου χάλασα το πάρτυ, με σκοπό να του δείξω ότι ναι θα ρθω αλλά αυτό που έκανες με ενόχλησε. Και εκεί είδα κι άλλο glaslighting γιατί αντί να μιλήσουμε για αυτό μου απάντησε λέγοντας ότι το πάρτυ είναι ήδη χαλασμένο

This fandom ignores what’s canon more than i’ve ever seen another fandom do. Bunch of in denial “fans” like go stan something else then instead of never making any sense when talking about the series

I support having fun in this fandom 100x over with creativity and coming up with wild theories, but I agree there’s a rampant amount of denial and straight up disregard to canon text that negatively impacts the enjoyment of other people. Ultimately, people are going to do what they want. I don’t mind people having their headcanons and crack theories/ships, but if it turns into glaslighting and changing the actual narrative I definitely get frustrated. Biggest issue recently is blatant misinformation being spread on platforms, and the fact that when creators are confronted or asked to supply their source, they start deleting comments and blocking people. That’s not helpful, and ultimately makes the conflicts in this fandom so much worse.

my fam watches holby so, it’s gonna be on the tv whether i watch it or not. also there are a few characters i still like (though frankly, is it just kian? maybe). but yesterday when the show was taken off for football i felt a kind of relief. it just doesn’t make me happy to feel anxious over a fucking tv show. 

i think a lot of it is due to cam’s storyline. idk if holby is doing it on purpose or if i’m the right person to talk about this. but this is what i was thinking today: it’s so anxiety inducing to see him getting away with hurting so many people like across the board and it’s always a select amount of people (you know who). 

here is a list of people he’s hurt/is going after etc so far:

donna (f, poc gaslighted/manipulated in time of grief)

jason (autistic, subordinate job title. manipulated/gaslighted)

nicky (f, poc manipulated/glaslighted/isolated/financial abuse(?))

chloe (f, ab*se/r*pe victim and with history of self h*rm, manipulated (inc in the aftermath of r*pe), lied to, gaslighted)

sklyar (f, undiagnosed mental health issues/depression?, subordinate job title. gaslighted, blamed for his mistake)

jeongsoo (poc, subordinate job title. is suspicious of cam and therefore in danger)

ange (f, higher job title. blamed for his deliberate violence against patient)

like obviously that last one isn’t true exactly. we know ange doesn’t like cam, chloe suspects him, jeongsoo suspects him and of course xav had him totally found out. but i think that whether directly or indirectly, his harm with the exception of evan, centers soley on women, poc and the one explicitly autistic character on the show. i honestly can’t tell whether this is just a product of who is working on those wards at any given time but. it seems to me that people are being purposely moved to aau to get them into cam’s orbit, then once he’s hurt them, they move on and vice versa. (donna has now moved to keller, chloe is usually on darwin but is forced to aau when cam wants to hurt her, the f1′s started on darwin but conveniently rotated to auu to put them in cam’s sights, etc etc) also there’s a new famele nurse who’s introduction seems already focused on cam

idk man. im not poc so maybe i’m not the person to talk about this but. it puts a bad taste in my mouth because it’s almost always him going after people who are less likely to believed. and ok, ok, it’s fictional. he’s a villain, of course he has to do villainous things. but over such an extended period of time? the only people above him he’s gone after were chloe (at the time), kian and ange and like. again. less likely to believed as woman and poc. it just feels like they’re choosing these people to prolong the story. i know they don’t have many stories during covid but this is just so depressing at this point that i don’t want to watch it anymore.

Also sidenote: i would love for someone, anyone, to take him down. but a lot of people - myself included! - can be guilty of wishing it were their fave who does it. Jac, Hanssen or even Serena (though obvs two are not in the show now.) And im like. it can’t be them. it just can’t. it needs to be someone on the bloody list you know. we can’t have the most powerful white characters coming in to save the day when they haven’t been effected by what he’s done the same way the others have. this is just my opinion and im not trying to like, categorize according to what subgroups someone fits in or comparing their traumas im just saying......why don’t we automatically wish for it to be donna or nicky or someone?

EDIT: i am of course aware that Hanssen and Jac both present as being autistic and suffer from depression and mental health issues, jac is an abuse victim and of course hanssen is jewish. and of course, serena is lgbtq. i’m not trying to ignore that but even with these stories they are considered fan favourites and also have some of the highest positions in the hospital. this is why i think to have them come in and fix the issues would be a disservice to cam’s victims. im sorry if i haven’t phrased this post right or if i’ve dismissed something within the story thats important. mostly im just trying to get across how traumatizing im finding cam’s storyline.
