Hi friend, sorry for disappear, well i came back with something that it's very sad. As everyone knows s5 is the worst season and when i rewatch she-ra just for glimmadora i realize that Glimmer and Bow aren't real friends of Adora, why do i mean by " no real friends " ? i mean if they were her best friends they would hate C*tr* they would constantly take her down and tell her awful things they would call her out and tell Adora to not go for her when she was on Horde prime's ship but instead of it they tell her " go Adora, save her " and then play with her abusive sister and make her feel include on the group is the moment that made me realize that they weren't real friends and this is so sad because noone on the show looks like care about Adora or her feelings or what happened with her and C*tra or even C*tra abusing her that's why this is sad because the show not only shows an abusive relationship but a fake friendship, if the show was about how to discover WHEN you are on a toxic relationship and how to get out of there and how to discover fake and real friendship then it's fine but how not. Also this is why i am an Adora kinnie because i was on an abusive friendship with someone and my ex best friend literally was a fake friend who plays around with the person who talked behind her back but well what do you think about this ?

I hate the way the word "kinnie" has spread through the common lexicon to the point where it's synonymous with Doing One Singular Thing that Is Reminiscent of A Character.

(In fact, in a very H|arrowh|ark move, I expressed my displeasure by pulling out the word "despise".)

I saw a T|LT "kinnie" joke again, and I commented on it in the tags of the post, saying I despise that word because I can never tell if it's a Joke Mocking Otherkin, or KFF, or Actual Otherkin Reclaiming It.

But the thing is, I'm so desperately lonely on the T|LT axis that I went through their personal tag a bit, just to see if I can find any confirmation. Of which one it is.

Just in case, maybe, they actually WERE using it as an actual "kinnie".

(Which is a label I would NEVER apply to myself, but I know many people, spanning the ages of 14 to 35, who use it for themselves unironically. Usually in a joking manner, but still use it to unabashedly mean "someone who has this as a kintype" with their Whole Chest.)

The person I saw using it today, I don't think they were seriously kin with any character. They talked about their relationship with someone, and referencing the characters, and saying they acted like them. But there was no indication of genuine identity.

(Except one "maybe actually [character]" aside that I don't think was intended to mean the other person Actively Identifies AS him…)

It's so hard to quantify, but I think that just makes it all the more frustrating.

That, and the crushing desolation of a false hope glimmering up Just In Case maybe I found another sourcemate, only to realize it is, once again, yet another case of… misappropriation*?
