Honestly, I've been a bit of a mess this week. I'm once more putting off baking so I'm jumping ahead to gluten-free cookies. I got Glutino chocolate chip cookies for these.

These are dry and crunchy, and while I was expecting these to have some kind of weird flavor, these taste like pretty standard chocolate chip cookies. These dunk well, and are definitely a great option for anyone who needs to avoid gluten.

It sucks that there's so few GF or at the very least wheat free options with canned soup. Why the hell does most if not all veggie soups contain pasta?

At walmart my only options are rice soups and pea soup that or just broth.

We like soup. We get sick. Sometimes it's a little hard to make soup mostly as in I would if someone would get me the ingredients but we also don't have a stock pot.

GF doesn't have to be these insane healthy foods all the time, it's nice to just have convenient food. My go tos are scharr(pricey but worth) promise has great bread. Pizza Oggi for my frozen pizza needs. And a new favourite of mine Paneriso I was skeptical at first but the blueberry muffins were so addicting. Glutino is also pretty good. Kinnick or whatever it's called isn't that bad. And then there's chex and nature path for cereals.

Gluten Free Trailmix Recipe

So as a young woman who is gluten free due to a gluten intolerance, I was thinking of doing something like this. Posting recipes I enjoy and can make 100% gluten free. Now that I've found a mix I truly love, I figure I'll share it with you all, in hopes it will help somewhere else. Please forgive the quality of photos. I'm not exactly good at this. Hopefully I'll get better as I post more.

Now, you need chex cereal. I use cinnamon. You'll also need Annie's gluten free bunny grams chocolate and vanilla, glutino pretzels, glutino fudge covered pretzels, a dried fruit mix of raisins, golden raisins and cranberries, Goodie Girls chocolate stripe cookies, Kind cinnamon oat clusters, and baked apple chips.

*1/2 bag of Glutino pretzels

*1 bag of Glutino fudge covered pretzels

**1 bag of Annie's gluten free bunny grams, chocolate and vanilla.

***1 bag of dried fruit mix raisins golden raisins, and cranberries

*1 bag of Kind cinnamon oat clusters

*1 box of Goodie Girl chocolate stripe cookies

***6 mini bags of apple chips (I can't find them in larger bags, brand is Great Value)

If you mix this all correctly, you should have about two and a half big ziplock bags of trail mix. Though you may need two or more large bowls, depending on how large the bowls are. I recommend mixing as you go to see where you are balance wise. This should hopefully help avoid having tons of fruit in one bag and barely any in another, or some other ingredient. If you have to split over multiple bowls to mix successfully, try to be equal between the bowls, so for example, if you use 1/2 a bag of Gutino pretzels, then put 1/2 of that into each bowl, so about 1/4 should go into each bowl with half the bag left to be used later.

Now that I've given you the recipe to my specific mix, what I'm about to say is really important. Trail mix is a very versatile thing to make. Within reason (for example, I would not recommend putting Goodie Girl's thin mint cookies in there. It was alright in there, but nothing great. In fact, it was edible and that was about it. Though that's obviously my opinion.) But my point is feel free to experiment. The oats are in there for protien, but protien can also be gotten from nuts. So if you're not an oat fan, but like nuts, you can put nuts in your mix. The fudge covered Glutino pretzels are another example, as there's also a yogurt covered version. And Annie's gluten free bunny grams has a cinnamon version. Chex has so many different options that your combinations are endless. There's chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon apple, and probably more.

This is the most important part, as some people may need to know this due to allergies. Hopefully you read this far.

just wanted to say, my mother has a pretty bad gluten allergy so my whole family had to give up gluten and honestly gluten-free food is really tasty nowadays. if you need some brand recommendations we REALLY love Glutino (English Muffins). Barilla has a good gluten-free pasta, but if you can't have rice (which i know some gluten-free people can't) I recommend ZenB Pasta, which is actually super tasty

Technically what she wants to try is an anti-inflammatory diet so I also need to cut back on dairy(shaking, sobbing, ect.) and cut out red meat(eh...not as worried) so if anyone has any recs for stuff there I'd appreciate it too!
