watched Ariana Grande's we can't be friends (wait for your love) music video inspired by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and can only wondering why Bastille didn't do it first? 'cause Dan literally references this movie in Remind Me. why he, as such a film nerd, didn't make a movie themed video (and didn't direct it himself) for this song? it would've suit both the lyrics and the aesthetic of the album very well. 'cause to be honest, the actual mv absolutley boring. Remind Me is such a beautiful song and deserve a better visualization

cover design: tbh i love the dotp cover so much i wish they used that one for the album but this one is v pretty too

least fav song: controversial opinion but no bad days i love it but its lacking

overrated track: no bad days for the aforementioned reasons

rate: 9/10 love the album but now that the hype died down i can see its flaws but its 10/10 when im listening to it skfmdm

Is Doom Days also your favorite album cover? I honestly like all their album covers except GMTF+DOTP, lol but I like the original GMTF cover

I do really like both doom days covers. Tbh I like all the covers for the first three with the film poster vibe. I think that whole idea is really sick, so it's hard to choose a fave, but I think the atbb cover is very iconic to me personally, so I'd probably say that one? GMTF etc I would describe as fine lol

now when gmtf+dotp is soon to be out it is extremely sad for me that i can't even order it on cd, neither from their merch store and even with the another service that helps to buy things abroad these days. moreover i will never in my life see them performing in my country and all of that is bc of stupid politicians
