i am submitting once again Val getting kidnapped by cultists to become a bride for their vampire master and all rescue attempts fail until Aemond finally convinces those around him to let him go. the vampire has already turned her and is enjoying the torment of her killing and drinking the blood of everyone who attempts to rescue her and is convinced that her killing aemond will be the last thing she needs in order to break her from her mortal life. aemond is *allowed* to get to her and finds her blood and tear stained. and the vampire gambles wrong, cause aemond can absolutely fuck the feral baby vamp into submission. (then they kill the vampire and live happily ever after as either vampires or aemond becomes her juice box)

Valaena as a vampire is unleashed (I’m going to do a bit of a switch here and keep it in canon Westeros),,, she felt powerless before, completely constrained by the expectations of her as a woman, the whispers about her scars, the rumors about her personality,,, she hates everyone and seethes with rage

It’s almost sad how easily she lets it all go once she is turned,,, the blood pours wherever she walks

Except the vampire master didn’t count on not being able to control her, she’s not his queen she’s his downfall because here comes aemond, following the blood trail she’s left for him, the vampire master unaware as he enjoys watching Valaena be unhinged, unaware she’s finally playing back with aemond the way he’s been toying with her for years

AND WHEN HE FINDS HER, licking blood off her fingertips, trails of crimson down her throat and her breasts, clad just in a simple silk shift that is so sodden and heavy with blood that it clings to her like a second skin (she killed the vampire master the second she heard aemond was on her trail)

They fight and they fuck, as the universe intended, because only aemond is the only one who can tame her (but only after he fucks her into submission AND helps her finish her revenge vendetta first)

You can tell armand lies awake all day mentally rehearsing the zingers he's going to spring in daniel to ~take control~ of the interview, and then he delivers them with such smugness, clearly SO pleased with himself, and it's all deeply cringe things like "oh yeah well I've been louis' bf for exactly 47 years longer than lestat, do the math more years = more love, bet you feel stupid now" or, "oh yeah well I am rubber and you are glue so actually YOU'RE unworthy I disregard YOU" like pls armand I am BEGGING you to find some dignity, this is agonizing

okay but WHYYY is no one talking about louis and daniel WHYYYYYYYYYY is no one talking about the greatest grandpa4grandpa relationship known to man and i don’t even mean romantically i mean in the most basic human platonic level their relationship is FASCINATING.

like louis SAUGHT HIM OUT after FIFTY YEARS he FOUND HIS BOY, this horrible infant who DID NOT UNDERSTAND A THING HE TOLD HIM, who saw his raw, decades-old pain and wanted in on it, AND HE GOES BACK FOR HIM BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE’S CHANGED. he can understand now. he can help him find the truth.

and like, they’re both absolutely terrified by each other because they’re both uniquely skilled at getting under each other’s skin and finding that truth (and also because… louis could just up and eat daniel anytime but shhhh…) and it’s because they UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER. louis’s interviewing daniel as much as daniel’s interviewing him, just. pulling teeth from each other’s head, trying to pull out all the rot with such violence and cruelty (from both of them!! daniel is a cockwallop!!) but they want to help each other they CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER.
