So I’ve been listening to a lot of Epic the Musical recently and this design for Athena just wouldn’t leave my brain, I wanted to emphasise more of her ‘goddess of war’ elements in this piece since I feel a lot of her portrayals gloss over that so I made her more muscular and armoured!! also strong women hot

I might clean this up at some point? I want to make some designs for the other gods too, I’m a Greek mythology girlie at heart

how do you feel about such a theory that the Norisu Clan did not immediately find out how to remove the Sorcerer's curse from people and therefore killed them? and perhaps one of the brothers was eventually infected and the First had to kill him?

ooooo haven't heard these ones before, delightful theories, exceptionally good for some angst!

In some way it would make sense, that 800 years ago, if some sort of Evil Sorcerer turned you into a rampaging monster, you will probably get ganked in order for you to be stopped (and probably not even by a ninja clan at first, someone would try to fight a monster). I mean, considering that Sorcerer could turn people into monsters without the limiter of his prison (like we see in the altered future in 13th century ninja), so it would seems that the only way to de-stank someone would be to defeat the Sorcerer! Which, canonically is rather hard to do. (perhaps even impossible without the Ninja suit!)

Now that I think about it, Norisu Clan definitily ganked someone, even if only during the learning process of how to fight the Sorcerer.

Raises all sort of questions, hm.

Oof, and the infected brother theory? Even more angst territory.

i think the pose being so crammed and busy + not having as good a gene selection as i would've liked really hampered my love of them. because ideally i've loved amphitheres and other multi-winged snake dragon beasts to the point where i have an oc with that design, and so i want to love auras so badly but there's so much in the way for me rn orz

I actually like the watchers but only my idea of them lol. too many people make them so serious big evil guys. they should be kinda sillay. guys around a table discussing what gimmick they can give the next death game with grian leading the group discussion. grian wasnt supposed to join the game bc he was the supervisor dammit now they need to get someone else.

Like every life series they’re not too terribly upset to be there lol. I’m 99% percent sure grian went around to his friends like hey I got us a little world did all the paperwork and stuff and get this. its a murder world. and they were like omg sign me up. upsetting stuff tm does Happen but ultimately. they are still like yippee I'd do that again. 

the life series is ultimately less and more angsty than it appears on the surface. its a bunch of friends going to murder resort server island that their friend reserved for them then pissed off the actual responsibilities for maintaining murder resort island bc he also wanted to take part in the murder :((((

anyways I just think if you’re taking the series literally it’s kind of impossible to act like they’re forcefully stuck in a miserable cycle they’re all having a great time. and idk just evil watchers is boring. like the games have kept going on they’re mildly miffed with grian but it certainly hasn't amounted to much if anything. they sigh and shake their fists but grians like that one coworker who really isnt doing his job correctly but he’s funny so. its ok. at least he’s entertaining.
