Hey, ik writing can be difficult( I'm a writer and haven't put something out in like a year😬😂) but do you think we might still get the new Thrown chapter today?

Hey, yeah, so as is probably obvious given the hour, there will not be a Thrown chapter today. I was going to make a post about updates so this works out.

I feel terrible about it, especially since it was already delayed a week, but I have been overtaken by A Mood, and it has kept me from editing because I just... hate all of it. I know it will pass because I've wrestled with it previously, but right now I can't look at it and make myself want to edit, let alone post it.

I had been trying to finish the story before March, because I know March is going to be rough for me. It seems the rough has started earlier than expected, as I've started struggling with things I thought I had overcome months ago. I'm still going to try to edit and post this chapter soon, maybe this weekend or next week, but I don't know when it will be.

After that, I think there will be one last hiatus. I really want to get these last few chapters right, and that means I need to be in the right headspace and take my time with them. The final chapters might not come until April, which bums me out but I would be even more upset by posting an ending that was up to snuff.

So, yeah. Sorry. Bad news and I'm sad about it.

Inside the room, there were ceramic shards littering the floor from failed attempts of using transportation magic. As he spoke Jasmin was focusing on picking the shards up and fixing the vases that broke, as she was attempting before he knocked.

There was a struggle as the pieces levitated and shook, slowly coming together to make out the structures, but we’re not fusing or fusing slowly.

“Loki, I grew up in an orphanage where I was called Jinx because I always brought about bad luck. I can appreciate a good joke, but playing pretend with my love life isn’t one. I do appreciate you being upfront with me about your intentions, every syllable you spoke makes me reconsider why I’m bisexual. Although…” she said, slightly considering the idea, “I do enjoy pissing your family off and so do the rest of my family,”

There was another crash and the pieces she was trying to put together had disconnected and fallen on the ground once more.

Jasmin grunt, pinching the bridge of her nose, “I don’t understand, what am I doing wrong?”

I was wondering when thrown was coming back,I'm not trying to rush you cuz I'm a writer too and being rushed sucks. I was just checkin in, again I hope that your doing a bit better since last time. Anyway feel free to ignore if your busy ☺️

I am doing better, with the caveat that "better" is a relative term. As you can see, that chapter I had hoped to edit and post in February never came. I still haven't written or edited anything since then.

I realized I gained a bunch of followers in the fall and in the time since, so as an explanation for those who weren't here at the time, my younger sister passed away suddenly and without explanation last March. She was 25 and we were very close. This is why I had to step away from writing during the holidays and why I was trying to get the story done before March, because I knew it would be a difficult time also. The dread just ended up setting in earlier than expected.

I want to get these last four chapters completely written and edited before I start posting again so I don't end up with another break before the end of the story. I have tentatively set the next chapter date for the end of May. This is optimistic because I still have not started writing again and it may need to get pushed back. We'll see.

I thank everyone for your patience. Trust me, no one wants to se the next chapter posted more than I do.
