Hey Bander, we discussed the possibility of AFHF being in Aus and I said it’s probs not feasible rn due to all the shit that’s happening with the festival scene in Aus but this was just announced which is HUGE!! The NSW gov is also injecting 2.5 mil into the Aus festival scene to try and reboot it after the cancellation of major festivals. It really could be a possibility, and I’d say the smart choices for locations would be Sydney or Brisbane/Gold Coast.
hey!! this is exciting news! (previous info about the situation)
Tumblr media
love this for you Aussies and I agree AFHF down under just started looking a LOT more doable again! And if it's NOT going to be in the southern hemisphere they'll need to announce pretty much nowish so maybe we'll know soon.... but listen HEAR ME OUT PEOPLE CONSIDER THE VISION: LT3 fall/winter (northern hemisphere) release, which coincides with Australia summer and fest season.... then 6 months later heyo how about ANOTHER AFHF (N hemi summer) to line up with the start of LT3 touring LIKE???? It could WORK okay

Hì’i Payoang (Little Fish)
Summary: When Tonowari chose you, he chose not only your Avatar, he chose your tawtute body too.
Tumblr media
Prompt 15 (Size Kink) for my submission for LunasKinktober2023
Inspired by makdoodles’ good loving on AO3, this is taken from a WIP I’m haven’t started posting yet for a full-length story where an OFC was sent to study the Metkayina people around the same time that Jake arrived on Pandora and had to go through something similar of earning their trust by learning their ways. I did change the tenses around to 2nd POV from 3rd. Na’vi Translation: Hì’i – little (size) | small Oel ngati kameie – “I see you” (spiritually (joyful feeling) ) Payoang – fish Tawtute – human | Sky Person Tewng – loincloth Yawntu – loved one | lover | beloved person Story Tags: No use of Y/N, Female Reader, Size Kink, Eating out, Interspecies Relationships, Interspecies Sex, Metkayina | Reef People Clan, Na’vi Biology, P in V, Vaginal Fingering, Vaginal Sex, Creampie
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You sat up in your transfer pod and rubbed your face, your eyes burning with emotion as you thought to yourself, ‘What the fuck am I doing?’
You’d come to Pandora on the same ship that had brought one of your older brothers, but instead of staying in the jungles near him and the Omatikaya Clan while Jake took charge of your deceased brother’s Avatar, you’d been shipped off towards the coast where another, smaller tawtute encampment had been built, this one called Hades’ Vault. All because you’d found out that you had a proficiency for marine biology instead of the zoology and botany Tommy had been becoming an expert in. From there, you’d been introduced to one of the villages and had been invited to learn their ways and at some point, you had begun falling for one of the young divers. What had started out with cautious curiosity had developed into a flirtatious friendship until earlier this evening after you’d passed the dream hut ritual where you had been injected with toxins from an arachnid and swallowed a glow worm to induce a prophetic vision. There had been a chance you could have died from the toxins but the vision that you had seen… a tulkun with a missing fin, a young male Forest Na’vi holding hands with a young female Reef Na’vi, a tawtute ship on fire and sinking, and a group of Forest Na’vi circling a body… well, you weren’t sure what to make of it. And you had survived.
Which led you to ‘the incident’ as you decided you were going to dub it.
You had wandered away from the celebration to take a breather, and the diver you were infatuated with had decided to follow you. You had begun to flirt, which had turned into touching which had turned into…
You shuddered as you remembered the pleasure, he had made you feel and pushed yourself to your feet, stumbling slightly. “You good, kiddo? I take it the dream hut went well?” your supervisor asked. You nodded and he grinned, patting you on your shoulder, reminding you, “Take it easy, do your vid-log, go get yourself something to eat, and relax.” You gave him a thumbs up and ate your dinner while you told the video recording about most of your day, holding back the more intimate details. Whoever ended up watching your videos, well, they didn’t need to know how you’d dug your nails into his back and cried out in ecstasy as he had fucked you over and over again until you had passed out.
Fed and showered, you were feeling restless and decided to take a midnight swim. And what better way to swim in the Pandoran ocean than to put on the faux tail you had made for your tawtute body?
Made of neoprene and silicone, the material of your faux tail settled around your hips and stuck to your plush backside, your thighs, you’re your calves in gold and pink and dark purple, molded to look like palm-sized scales, the end fins wide and long with extra tendrils along the sides to assist your movements in the water. It had been a very, very expensive going away present from a group of your friends for your journey since you’d been dreaming for years about swimming in clean ocean water.
It was one of your most favorite tawtute things in the world.
Underwater mask fasted onto your face, faux tail secured about your hips with only a sports bra as your other covering, you let yourself out of the encampment through a smaller security door and out into the night. You swam down into the coral reefs, smiling as you took in the beauty of the underwater world so unlike your home world. You were safe, closer to the compound, a lot of the bigger predators keeping away, but that didn’t stop the shadow from passing over you. Fear of being eaten raced through you and you ducked into one of the coral reefs, eyes widening as you saw a huge shadow pass over you again, though you still couldn’t make out what had caused it.
Something grabbed your fin.
Yelping, you tried to grab onto the coral but failed as you were dragged out into the open water oh so easily, a band of steel wrapping around your waist and dragging you to the surface of the ocean. “You shouldn’t be out here, hì’i payoang, you heard rumbling into your ear the moment you both were above the water.
“Tonowari, what…” you gasped in shocked surprise as he hauled your body up with one hand so very easily onto the back of his skimwing, his grip still secure about your waist as he carted you both to a tiny, nearby island, leaving Hades’ Vault as an unnaturally bright blight upon the horizon. “You are the one who shouldn’t be out here. Didn’t your uncle specifically say that he didn’t want any Na’vi coming close to us tawtutes by themselves? He’ll be furious with you if he finds out.” The diver hummed as his scaled mount neared the shore and Tonowari scooped you up, carrying you, faux tail and all up onto the shore towards a small mauri secured above the sand between huge mangrove roots.
“I woke with your body in my arms only to realize you weren’t actually inhabiting it,” the male Na’vi replied. You flinched, ducking your face so he couldn’t see your emotions. “Don’t worry,” he added, stepping into the hut and sitting down with you laying out in his lap, “I moved your other form into my personal mauri pod and came to see you. I didn’t expect you to be swimming around like a hì’i payoang, though. What is this that surrounds your leg?”
He brushed his hand over your faux tail, examining the material in curiosity.
“In my language, we call it a mermaid tail,” you said. “Mermaids are fictious creatures that would look something like this.” You gesture to yourself, adding, “Only, their scales would be real, not made of material called neoprene or silicon. I had a fake tail created for me before I left Earth so I could swim easier in the water here. Plus, it’s really pretty.” You lifted your legs slightly, showing off just a tad and heard him chuckle. You stared up at him for a moment until he met your gaze, his eyes so warm it made your heart hurt in your chest. “Why are you here, Tonowari?”
His ears twitched and he settled back, getting a little more comfortable with you resting your backside upon his tewng. “We chose each other when we became one earlier tonight, hì’i payoang,” he replied softly, rubbing his fingers over your faux tail once more. “You reside in two bodies, though… but how could I choose one and not the other? I told you earlier I choose you in your Na’vi body. So, hear me now as a tawtute. I choose you. Even if you are so very small now.”
You couldn’t help the giggle that escaped you at his last comment.
Then you looked up at him, replying, “Oel ngati kameie, Tonowari.”
He smiled and bent himself nearly in half, touching his forehead to the top of your mask, replying, “Oel ngati kameie.” He looked down at your faux tail and asked, running his fingers over the material again, “How does this come off, hì’i payoang?” You giggled and with some struggle, you managed to remove it, freeing your bare lower half to his view. His interest immediately stuck as he saw your biological similarities and touched you experimentally between your thighs. “What is the purpose of the hair here?” Tonowari asked, his brow creased in perplexity as he dragged his fingers through the thatch of your pubic hair.
“Oh, it’s, uh, it grows, um, when you – I mean, when a tawtute – reaches sexual maturity,” you say, embarrassed that, while you did clean yourself up down there recently, you hadn’t shaved yourself completely, “and it’s supposed to prevent dust and dirt and germs from… from getting inside to, uh, to prevent infection as well as, uh, to offer protection from friction.”
You let out a whimper as he commented huskily, “You are so small here. So tight… I may not fit… at first.”
Did he mean to…? But he was so much larger than you.
His finger brushing over the hood of your clit with his thumb and pressing between the lips of your cunt with his index finger was your only warning. “Oh,” you moaned, spreading your legs as he pushed in deep until he couldn’t push in any further. Your pleasured little noises seemed to encourage him because he began to finger fuck you, making a soft grunt of amusement.
“You are even softer down here, hì’i payoang,” he teased, “and so wet. I think you like this.”
“Don’t tease,” you moaned. He raised a brow and slid his fingers from your body, chuckling as you whined in protest. He manhandled you out of his lap and onto a cushion, twisting onto his stomach and bullying his way between your thighs. He leaned in, nose snuffling as he scented your pussy, releasing a low groan.
“It’s not teasing if I intend to follow through, yawntu,” he replied, rubbing his nose between the lips of your cunt. “You smell so sweet.” Before you can react, his hot, eager tongue – rough and sandpapery almost like a feline’s – slid along the seam of your pussy lips. Because it was slick and damp with his saliva, though, it felt so enjoyable against your swollen and over-heated flesh and a wail slid from your throat, your hips arching up into his mouth. He chuckled and pressed your hips back down, keeping you still and lapped at you again. “Relax hì’i payoang… I’ll make sure you feel good.”
You nodded and laid back, whimpering as Tonowari pulled your thighs up and over his shoulders, hooking your heels in such a way to keep you open to him. His one arm over your hips and belly assisted in keeping them pressed down and lessen your ability to squirm as he started to lap his rough tongue in the slick trickling out of your cunt. You whimpered and shivered when his tongue dragged over your clit, your hips jolting out of control at the glorious sensation.
“Oh, oh god, oh fuck,” you whined in English, hips making aborted jerking motions against his mouth. “Don’t stop! Please don’t stop!”
Tonowari hummed against you, and while he commented that he didn’t understand your words, he took it as a sign he was doing something right and doubled down, making your toes curl as he lapped at your pussy and clit like a man starved, your whimpers and whines revealing to him what you liked most. Trying not to grab at his hair – it was a huge display of trust and intimacy for Na’vi and you wouldn’t touch him there unless he allowed it of you – you dug your fingers into the woven fabric of the cushion below you. When your breath hitched, he bore his weight down onto you and then it overwhelmed you, your orgasm rushing through you, pleasure so intense you feel close to blacking out as you scream, writhing in his grip. He held you fast, continuing with kitten licks until your body slumped, your breath coming out in heavy pants, fogging up the inside of your mask.
“Holy fuck,” you breathed, trying to catch your breath. “I think that was more intense than earlier tonight.”
Tonowari was still nuzzling his wide, flat nose into your inner thigh as he scented your arousal. Shifting slightly, he eased a finger inside of you and smirked, purring quietly. “Still so small and tight. I think one more will help stretch you further, hì’i payoang…” he commented, kissing your clit and curling his fingers inside of you.
You let out a sharp squealing wail, arching into his touch as best as you can with the sensation of being stretched out sending pleasure skittering like fire through your veins as he slides a second finger inside of you. He feasted on your clit, thrusting his fingers into you at a rapid place. When he curled them in such a way that he discovered the spongey spot that had you seeing stars, body shuddering as you get closer and closer to your second climax.
And then her purred.
It was like having your vibrator pushed up to its max setting and pressed against you in all the right places. It only took a couple more licks to your clit and finger curls inside of your and you came again, the scream you released making your throat go raw. You could feel Tonowari smirk against you as he held you tightly making sure you couldn’t flee from the onslaught of pleasure, rolling his fingers deeper than any human male ever got inside of you.
This second orgasm crashed through you like a tsunami, overwhelming your senses and causing you to actually black out for a moment, this time.
You came to, to Tonowari pulling at your sports bra. You moaned and swatted at his fingers, pushing yourself up on weak arms to sit up. Carefully pulling off the tight material, you moaned, your skin having gone a little red from the prolonged wear. He frowned, caressing the marks left by your bra. “Your tawtute clothing caused you pain, yawntu,” he grumbled. “I much prefer you in a tewng anyway…” His voice trailed off as his focus remained upon your breasts. He groped them gently, blue eyes darkening as he reveled in the softness of them. “I think I might come to enjoy your little tawtute body.”
You smirked until he leaned back down over you and lapped at your breast with that rough tongue of his, sucking the whole swell of it into his large mouth. “Oh, fuck,” you muttered, grabbing onto his shoulders as he slurped upon your breast like a hungry baby.
And while him nuzzling and suckling upon your breasts felt good, great even… he had whetted your appetite.
And you were ready for more.
You whimpered and reached down his body but your arms were just a touch too short to touch him. “‘Wari,” you moaned, pushing at his chest. He pulled back reluctantly. Meeting his blue gaze, you whispered, “I want you. Will you fuck me, now, please?”
Tonowari smirked and reached for the ties of his tewng, stripping himself of the only covering he had on at the moment. The breath whooshed out of you like a gust. He was comparable to your forearm and while you’d seen him earlier this evening when you had fucked him in your Avatar form, in your smaller body he looks absolutely massive. Of course, being that he was over nine and a half feet tall, it would make sense he would be absolutely stacked. Seeing the darker turquoise veiny, little ridges and nubs along each stripe and bioluminescent freckles that decorated the full length of him to the light pink tip of his cock that matched the pink of his nose made your mouth water. The foreskin, however, was a lighter blue and had started to pull back from the pink tip to reveal a delicate little trickle of pearlescent precum tinged silvery blue.
Tonowari breathed deep and smirked, ears flicking forward, blue eyes darkening. His cock bobbed. “I can smell you, hì’i payoang. Are you ready for me?”
“Oh, yes,” you nodded emphatically. “I am so ready.”
This made him smirk and he reached down between you, guiding his cock to your slicked entrance and nudging the head between your puffy lips. “Breathe, yawntu,” he whispered, taking each of your legs into either hand and spreading you wider as he slowly pushed into you. You whined as he slowly worked his way into you. The previous climaxes had definitely helped relax and loosen you but his size is still alot and the stretch of him pressing deeper and deeper inside of your gummy walls stung. You sucked in a shaky breath as he worked himself further into your channel, the pressure of the almost ridiculous sensation of fullness made your body tighten and loosen to consecutively receive his thickness and seizing up to try to shove him back out of your body. Tonowari went as slow as he could, trying not to overwhelm you.
“Oh, fuck,” you whined, clinging to the cushion beneath you with your hips twitching as he inched his way closer and closer to the end of you.
“Don’t force it, hì’i payoang,” he groaned, stroking his thumb over the side of your calf in an attempt to soothe your while he continued slowly sinking further into you. “I know you can take it. Just relax for me, yawntu.” You whined as he continued forward, finally getting to the end of your channel, leaving a little bit left of his length outside of your pussy but you’re stuffed so full and the pressure left you breathless. “How do you feel, hì’i tawtute?”
You panted shakily, whispering, “Need a moment. Sorry. Just give me a moment.”
Your answer made him smirk, pride radiating from his every pore before you inadvertently clenched down on him and his eyes rolled as you squeezed upon his cock. His collected himself and adjusted himself upon his knees, the slight movements making you whimper and clench down upon him harder. “It’s alright, yawntu. You’re alright. Everything’s going to feel even better in a moment.”
Finally, Tonowari began to move.
His first couple of thrusts were measured, tentative as he examined your features closely to see which angle made you feel the most satisfaction. When he shifted inside you and it had your eyes crossing, he smirked once again and began to set himself at a steadier pace, giving off a rumbling purr as he did so.
The pleasure was building up inside of you again as he moved into your cunt with a relentless rhythm that made you whine as that familiar coil in your stomach began to tighten again, a wail working its way up and out of your throat as you slowly rocketed towards your third orgasm all due to Tonowari’s consistent pace. However, as he felt you squeezing down on him harder, that steady rhythm seemed to be unravelling, sweet, hot pleasure building between your legs and causing you to shake and tremble and whine. Your mind was going blank as he rutted into you harder, his hands clenching down on your calves in a grip so powerful it was near bruising. With his sloppier thrusts and his animalistic grunting, his cock suddenly shifted and shoved against the spongey part his fingers had discovered earlier and you began to sob, reaching down between you to touch your clit as he pounded away deep inside of your cunt. He snarled through gritted teeth as he watched you flick and caress your button in the way you liked best, grinding himself deep inside of you and causing the pressure in your belly to intensify to the point of near pain as your orgasm crept closer and closer.
“‘Wari!” you sobbed loudly. “‘Wari!”
It felt like a super nova going off inside your body. Your cunt spasmed around his massive cock, clamping down upon him like a vice so tightly that he only fucked into your pussy with three more pumps before he came with a deep, rumbling snarl. Your cunt grew hotter with your sweet but overwhelming release, pleasure causing your limbs to shake, your eyes to roll back into your head, and your mind to go blank once more, your spine arching as you cum the hardest you have ever cum before in your life, your whole body feeling like it’s breaking apart and being put back together a million times over as your orgasm drowns you in wonderful sensation as his own seed sprayed deep into your womb, so much of it causing your belly to bulge slightly, as if you were pregnant. He moans, glancing down to see you and grinds his cock into that spongey spot once more and you black out.
This time when you came to, sort of because you felt absolutely exhausted and ready to sleep for the rest of the night, Tonowari had settled the both of you into the hammock deeper into the mauri pod. He must have cleaned you up because while you feel only a slight trickle sliding out of your body.
You moaned and snuggled your masked face into his neck.
“Awake at last hì’i payoang,” he asked, kissing your forehead. You hummed again. He chuckled and glanced over at where he had left your faux tail. He smiled, adding, “Perhaps in the morning, we can go for a swim together.” You hummed and settled your much smaller body against his, your fatigue catching up with you. He kissed your forehead again and closed his eyes, snuggling your tiny body upon his chest because he had chosen you to be his, no matter which form you took.

Primary ally in the 2nd part of my fic. He has my favorite color palette.
Name: Mizuki (no surname) Species: Oni Strength: 71/100 Age: unknown (over 400 years) A demon that rarely kills, so it's quite shocking how powerful he really is. Subsists almost solely on blood, which he drinks through a prehensile tongue. Despite his wisteria-print kimono, he is not an ally to the Demon Slayer Corps. Until he meets Charlie, he had not realized he had ever been human and simply believes himself to be some sort of parasitic vampire. Was ambushed and captured by ex-Corps members by using wisteria-soaked ropes, and then imprisoned in an underground coliseum on the coast where he would hear and heal the mental and physical burdens of others in exchange for permission to drink their blood. When he drinks human blood, he also injects them with wormlike parasites that continue to feed. As these humans die in the coliseum, the blood-thickened parasites return to him. He is incredibly manipulative, but not necessarily wicked. Mizuki, when decapitated, will dissolve away until only a gold worm is left. This is his weak spot- a collective of all he is. He can use this gold parasite to infect a human until he can find somewhere safe to regenerate. Despite his massive gain of strength and eventual immunity to wisteria, he remains at the coliseum for access easy prey. There is no shortage of poor warriors who need a friend to speak to
has a very soft, soothing voice (Hanus in Spaceman is a good comparison)
Highly intelligent, can read people easily. Speaking to him means that he's likely to dissect every little thing about you. Kinda fancies himself as some kind of therapist
His parasites can also acquire memories for him, which he uses to further get into his victims' minds. Doing this to Charlie is how he learned that he had been human once, long ago.
has a gold prosthetic eye
can form tendrils from his arms and out his back
Can also form them though the earth and use them to fight
will NOT take blood without explicit permission
rarely kills because he doesnt find it necessary, but is more than capable of doing so

Chapter Forty-One: “Red Bottoms to the Throat”
The venue was some bougie country club on the coast. All glass, gold fixtures, and overpriced linen-wrapped chairs. Laughter floated on jazz piano as alums mingled with wine glasses in hand, catching up on who got fat, who got rich, who got divorced. Jordan had taken one look at the crowd and muttered, “Oh, God,” under her breath as she adjusted the gold straps on her heels.
Joshua stayed close to her side, dressed in that jet-black button-down and slacks that hugged his thighs just right. He’d taken out the braids earlier and his hair was soft, curls out in a halo around his temples, that sharp jaw clean and glinting under the lights. She’d called him a playboy Maui earlier, but the truth was, he made every man in the room look like they’d lost before they even started.
They hadn’t even been there ten minutes when she hissed, low and hot, “That’s her. That’s Jennifer.”
Joshua looked up just in time to clock the walking tanning-bed trauma that was Jennifer H.—bleach-blonde with a tight bodycon dress two sizes too small and the kind of forced confidence that reeked of desperation. She was already eyeing him like a ribeye, sauntering over on cheap stilettos and highlighter-toned skin.
“Oh wow, Jordan,” she purred, not even pretending to look at her. Her fake lashes batted straight at him as she laid a manicured hand on Joshua’s arm. “Who’s this fine ass man? You finally figured out how to pull someone out of a textbook?”
Joshua opened his mouth, already annoyed, about to dead the interaction with his usual brand of “don’t play with me” when it happened.
Jordan’s hand snapped out, gripped Jennifer’s wrist mid-flirt, and tossed it off of him like it was contagious.
Her whole energy changed. Gone was the light, slightly flustered academic. In her place stood a woman with fire in her eyes and heels sharp enough to cut throats. Without even thinking, Jordan shifted into his space, her bare back sliding against his chest, her smaller frame locking in like she’d always belonged there. Her arms folded tight beneath her chest as she glared straight ahead, not even giving Jennifer the decency of a glance.
“This is my man,” she said, her voice low, clipped, and terrifyingly calm. “Joshua Fatu. Please kindly fuck off before I show you what a red bottom to the throat feels like, Jenny.”
Joshua’s brows shot all the way up.
Jennifer blinked. “Wait—what—?”
Jordan’s head tilted. “You heard me.”
There was nothing else to be said. Jennifer’s eyes went wide, her mouth gaping like a fish, and she scattered—heels clicking a retreat so quick, she nearly tripped on her own attitude.
Silence.
Joshua blinked down at the woman in his arms who had not moved from where she slid in front of him, her back pressed to his chest like a warning label. His hands hovered awkwardly near her hips, unsure if he was allowed to touch her yet.
Jordan huffed once, under her breath. “Bad box dye ass,” she muttered before twisting on her heel and marching off toward the refreshment table.
Joshua just stood there, stunned for a solid ten seconds before he finally moved after her, the barest grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.
She was pouring punch when he caught up. Still visibly annoyed.
“You good?” he asked.
“No,” she said flatly, fuming as she lifted the ladle. “I came here to eat, be pretty, and forget the trauma of ninth grade. Instead, I’m threatening women with felony heel assaults.”
He bit down a smile. “So… I’m your man?”
Jordan froze.
The ladle slipped just a little in the bowl.
She blinked and didn’t look at him, cheeks starting to glow beneath her bronzer. “That’s just what I said to get her to back off. You know how girls like that are. All claws and lip injections. I panicked.”
He leaned down near her ear, his voice low and amused. “Sounded real natural, though. Kinda rolled right off the tongue.”
“Joshua—”
“And the way you got in front of me?” he teased, grinning now. “Like you were about to fight somebody for real.”
“I did fight someone for real last week, if you recall,” she snapped, refusing to look at him, still flustered as hell.
“True,” he said. “And you won.”
She grumbled into her punch cup.
He looked her up and down again, admiring the dangerous slit in her dress, the confidence in her walk, the blush she tried to hide behind attitude and sass.
He stepped a little closer, voice dropped again just for her. “For what it’s worth, I liked what you said. Might even write it down on a Post-it.”
She groaned. “You’re never letting that go, are you?”
“Never.”
Jordan took a long sip of her drink to hide her smile.
And from across the room, Jennifer was still watching—and Jordan made sure to tilt her head and press her palm to Joshua’s chest, slow and possessive, before throwing her a single, venomous smirk over the rim of her cup.
Game. Set. Match.
Chapter Forty-Two: “Just Strike Me Down, Lord”
The air was warm, sweet with the scent of ocean salt and blooming jasmine from the flower beds around the parking lot. The music from the reunion venue was faint now, muffled behind the thick doors. Joshua walked beside her, quiet, his hands in his pockets, that low swagger in his step.
Jordan couldn’t even glance at him.
She was mortified.
Mortified.
This is my man, Joshua Fatu.
Why the hell had she said that? What kind of unfiltered, thirsty-ass slip of the tongue was that? And why had it felt so… right coming out of her mouth?
Her hand fumbled in her purse, keys jingling somewhere inside, lost among lip gloss tubes, backup chargers, stray receipts, and random pieces of gum.
He watched her with a quiet smirk, eyes soft, full of amusement and something deeper, something fond.
She finally snatched her keyring, but her hand trembled just enough that the keys slipped right through her fingers and hit the pavement with a little clang that echoed far too loudly.
“Fuck,” she muttered.
She bent down, tried to scoop them up—missed on the first grab like she’d lost all coordination.
“Jesus Christ,” she hissed. She crouched lower, now fully squatting in her little silk slip dress, heels wobbly, hair slightly frizzed from the coastal breeze, muttering to herself in rapid-fire frustration. “Why am I like this? Lord, just come get me. I embarrassed myself in front of Jennifer, I got possessive like a crazy person, and now I’m out here dropping my damn keys like a cartoon character—smite me, Jesus, go ahead and beam me up, I’m ready.”
Joshua let out a low, breathy laugh behind her.
She froze.
Slowly, slowly, she turned her head and peeked up at him through her lashes, still bent down like she was praying to the pavement. “You’re laughing at me,” she accused, cheeks glowing deep and dark, her voice a mortified squeak.
“I’m not,” he said, but he was absolutely grinning. “I just… didn’t know you could get any cuter, Dr. Myers. But then you started bargaining with God from the concrete.”
She groaned, finally snatching her keys with a death grip and pushing up to her feet, her movements rushed and flustered as she tried to brush off her dress and the whole moment like it didn’t happen.
He stepped closer, his tone soft now, sincere. “You know,” he said, “when you said that back there… that I was your man…”
“Don’t remind me,” she groaned, clutching her keys to her chest like they were sacred. “I blacked out. I’m not responsible for what was said under emotional duress.”
But he didn’t laugh this time.
Instead, he gently took her hand that clutched the keys and slowly brought it down, just enough for her to look up at him again.
“I liked it,” he said.
She blinked.
He nodded once, firmly. “I liked hearing you say it. And I don’t think you were wrong.”
She stared at him, speechless.
“You feel like mine,” he said, voice low and rich and certain. “Even if you didn’t mean it like that. You feel like home.”
Jordan’s throat worked, her eyes wide.
Her heart was doing that thing again—tap dancing behind her ribs, making it hard to think. And suddenly, all the sass, all the wit, all the comebacks were gone.
She just whispered, “Oh.”
Joshua grinned softly. “Yeah. Oh.”
She unlocked the car with a trembling hand and slid into the driver’s seat, flustered, fumbling to buckle her seatbelt as fast as humanly possible.
Joshua didn’t press her. Just shut the door gently for her, like she was something delicate.
She didn’t even notice how hard she was smiling until she checked her mirror and caught herself grinning like she’d just won the lottery.
From the passenger window, he leaned in one last time and tapped the roof.
“Get home safe, Dr. Myers.”
She turned slowly. “You too… Dimples.”
And just like that, it was his turn to freeze, his smirk faltering for half a second before it came back bigger.
He nodded once. “Night.”
Then walked off into the night like the man she’d just accidentally, maybe, kinda, definitely fallen for.
Chapter Forty-Three: Red Bottoms and Run-On Hearts
Jey was posted up in his student apartment, phone angled just right as he FaceTimed his brothers. The second Jimmy and Sefa answered, he didn’t even say hi.
“Bruh.” That was all it took.
Jimmy leaned forward, sensing a story, Sefa already laughing because anytime his brother opened with “bruh”, it was drama. “Nah, don’t tell me she threw hands again.”
Jey groaned, dragging a hand over his face. “Worse. Way worse. I think she fake claimed me as her man and then tried to melt into thin air like she ain’t say it.”
Sefa choked. “Claimed?!”
“I’m dead serious,” Jey said. “We get to this high school reunion, right? She’s all fine and glowing and got this slit in her dress that should be illegal. And then this one chick—Jennifer whatever—comes over with a fried tan and fake blonde hair, touching my arm talkin’ ‘Who’s this fine ass man’ like Jordan ain’t right there.”
“Wait wait,” Jimmy cut in, eyes wide. “She let shorty touch you?” Jey leaned in. “Hell no.”
He took a breath like he was still processing it. “Jordan snatched her wrist like she practiced in front of the mirror, threw it off her and straight up wriggled into my space like her life depended on it. Put her whole back on my chest and said, ‘This is my man, Joshua Fatu. Kindly fuck off before I show you what a red bottom to the throat feels like.’”
Sefa wheezed.
Jimmy was cracking up, wheezing into the camera, “Not red bottom to the throat, yo I’m crying.”
“And then?” Sefa asked.
“She huffed like she ain’t just say all that and marched off to the punch table. And when I tried to ask about it later—nothing. Straight up dropped her keys tryna flee, cursed at the sky, bent down and missed the keys, stood up, tripped over her own shoes… she was like a romcom blooper reel.”
Jimmy had his hand over his face. “You down horrendous.”
“I’m cooked,” Jey admitted, falling back on the bed with a sigh. “I’m thinkin’ about her dress and the way she looked at me and how she said that shit like it was instinct, like she ain’t even think about it.”
“Bruh, she meant it,” Sefa said. “Ain’t nobody fake claim a man like that unless she feelin’ something heavy.”
“She don’t even realize what she said,” Jey muttered. “But I can’t stop thinkin’ about it.”
Jimmy grinned. “Man, you better shoot your shot before somebody else with red bottoms and a taser bag her.”
Meanwhile, across town…
Jordan was pacing her kitchen in one of her oversized sleep shirts, no pants, hair a frizzy cloud of curls around her face as she whispered to herself like she was in confession.
“Why the fuck would I say that? My man? My man?! Like we’re in a damn Hallmark movie? Am I okay? Am I clinically okay?”
She stopped in front of her fridge, opened it, stared at the Sprite she left earlier, slammed it shut.
“God, just come get me. Beam me up. Deport me. Send me to the multiverse where I know how to act around fine men with tatted abs and dimples.”
She bent down to grab the keys she dropped again that night—because yes, she had to reenact her humiliation—and nearly hit her head on the counter.
“This is what I get. This is divine punishment for lying to the cops, falling asleep with him cradled to my chest, and looking at his lips when I should’ve been looking at Jesus.”
She groaned, collapsing dramatically on the couch face down.
“Joshua Fatu, you’re gonna be the death of me.”
Chapter Forty-Four: Trippy Punch & No Pants
Class felt off without her.
The usual rhythm Jordan Myers brought—sharp slides, dry sarcasm, the soft scent of her lavender lotion trailing when she walked the aisles—was noticeably missing. Instead, some older white man with stained khakis and a faded UCLA hoodie stood at the front of the lecture hall, reading from a printout in a monotone voice like he was being forced to teach at gunpoint.
“Professor Myers is out with a head cold,” he muttered without looking up. “Something about… trippy punch?”
The room stifled laughter. Joshua didn’t.
He grinned so wide he had to bite his lip to hide it. He knew what punch she was talking about. Her reunion. The silk dress. The slit that kept him up all night. Her wild claim—“this is my man, Joshua Fatu”—said like it was written into law. Her stomping off like a pissed-off Disney villain in red bottoms while he tried not to follow her with his tongue hanging out.
Now she was home, probably bundled up and pissed at herself, maybe rewatching Clone Wars or filling a Post-it note with self-scolding doodles. And he knew exactly where he was going after class.
The second the lecture ended, he ignored Jimmy’s texts, ignored Sefa's teasing voicemails, and caught the next bus up the hill to the staff side of campus. He practically jogged the rest of the way. Her building was quiet, just the soft hum of ocean breeze and someone’s faint music playing three doors down.
He knocked.
There was a pause, then a rustle, then—
The door cracked open and Jordan peeked out with one eye and half a face, curls everywhere.
And then—
“Oh my god!” she squeaked, eyes going wide as she realized what shirt she had on. His shirt. The black one he’d worn after Waffle House. No pants in sight. Just long, bare legs and a flash of thigh tattoos.
SLAM.
The door shut fast as thunder.
“Fatu!” her voice came muffled and shrill through the wood. “You have to let me hide—have some mercy—God, why am I like this?!”
He couldn’t stop laughing. “You gonna make me stand out here while you yell at yourself?”
There was a beat. Then a muttered curse.
And the door cracked open again, just enough for one big brown eye and a wild head of curls to peer out at him sheepishly. Her voice dropped to a scratchy whisper.
“I don’t have pants on.”
“Yeah,” he chuckled. “I noticed.”
Another pause.
“You coming in?” she asked softly, tugging the shirt lower to her thighs in vain.
“You sure? I don’t wanna give you a whole other fever.”
She groaned and pulled him in by the arm.
The apartment smelled like lemon and tea. Her laptop was open on the couch, a box of tissues beside it, and a mess of Post-it notes stuck to every reachable surface. Some said things like Remember to rehydrate and Jennifer’s tan is not FDA approved.
“You look a mess,” he teased, tossing his bag down.
“I am a mess,” she muttered, brushing a hand through her curls. “Mentally, emotionally, spiritually. And now apparently immune-system-ally. That punch was brewed by Satan. Pretty sure I hallucinated making out with Chris Pine.”
“You didn’t,” he smirked, walking over to her. “But you did call me your man in front of half your old classmates.”
She winced. “I should’ve just let Jennifer keep touching you. Should’ve walked straight into the ocean instead.”
He tilted his head. “You mad at yourself for telling the truth?”
That shut her up.
Her eyes dropped, and she fiddled with the hem of his shirt, then looked up at him slowly, face warm and pink even under the congestion.
“I’m mad because it was supposed to stay in my head, where all the other inappropriate thoughts about you live rent free,” she whispered. “Not blurted out like a jealous ex at a high school reunion.”
He took a step closer, hand lifting her chin. “And if I liked hearing it?”
She blinked.
And blinked again.
“…then I’d probably spontaneously combust.”
He laughed. Hard.
She groaned and collapsed face-first onto the couch, screaming into a pillow.
And yet—he stayed. He sat beside her and played A New Hope on the TV. He made her tea and carried her to bed like she weighed nothing, tucked her in with a blanket, and left a new Post-it note on her nightstand in his handwriting:
“Still your man, if you want. Also: make more trippy punch.” —Dimples
Chapter Forty-Five “This is fine. Everything’s fine.”
Jordan Myers woke up slowly, warm sunlight streaming across her face through gauzy curtains. Her curls were a riot of messy spirals, and her throat was sore in the back-of-her-sinuses way that meant the “trippy punch” from the reunion was not just punch but a gateway to hell.
But it wasn’t the punch or the cottonmouth that had her rolling onto her back and groaning into her palm.
It was the realization that Joshua Fatu—former felon, current student, future heart problem—had not only shown up at her door when she looked a mess, but he’d tucked her in bed.
She remembered the weight of the comforter being pulled up gently, the faint citrus-mint scent of him near her pillow, and the soft whisper of footsteps retreating like he was scared to disturb her peace.
He hadn’t touched her in any way inappropriate. Hadn’t flirted, hadn’t asked to come inside, hadn’t crossed a single line.
And that, somehow, was worse.
Because he’d done something dangerous.
He’d made her feel safe.
Which was exactly why, when her girls group chat started blowing up with beach day plans, Jordan said yes. She needed sun, sand, and a good distraction from the fine-ass man who kept tucking himself into her brain like a recurring daydream.
She packed light—water bottle, SPF, oversized sunnies, a breezy cover-up she wouldn’t wear for more than five minutes. The moment she saw that sunlight hit her skin in the mirror, she went full hot girl mode.
She chose that swimsuit. The green snakeskin thong one. The one with the stupid string ties that barely qualified as clothing. The one that made her feel like a baddie and had no business being near her job or responsibilities. The one she had no business wearing when her current weakness was six-foot-something Samoan with dimples and too much emotional intelligence for someone fresh out of prison.
But she was committed. She made it to the beach with her girls, her sunglasses on, her curls voluminous, her body lotioned and glitter-kissed.
“I’m fine,” she muttered as she kicked her slides off and stepped into the sun. “Everything’s fine.”
It was not fine.
Because not five minutes into their spot getting set up with towels and snacks, she heard a voice. Familiar. Deep.
Sefa.
She turned her head, and there he was—Joshua’s baby brother, looking like trouble in some black swim trunks and a chain. She made a strangled little gasp and backed up so fast she nearly fell into the snack cooler.
“Ohmygodohmygod—”
She turned again, praying the beach sand would open and swallow her whole.
But the twins were behind him.
Jimmy—or Jonathan, depending on who you asked—grinned immediately. Jey? Jey’s sunglasses were off, and his mouth parted like he wasn’t breathing for a moment.
She tried to backpedal again. Her bare feet slapped the sand. She tripped over her own towel.
And then—
Blackout.
Straight princess-style. Legs buckled. She passed out into poor Sefa’s very confused, very muscled arms.
“Bro… what the fuck just happened?” Sefa blinked.
“She just fainted,” Jimmy whispered in awe, blinking down at the scandalous green bikini and then at Jey. “She saw you and passed out like a Victorian housewife. Are you even aware of your power?”
“I didn’t do shit!” Jey barked, but he was already rushing over, panic slicing through his chest. He crouched next to her, carefully helping Sefa ease her down onto a towel in the shade.
Jordan was out cold—cheeks flushed, lips parted, a little snore escaping.
Jey stared.
The bikini was obscene. The kind of thing he only saw on Instagram models and thirst traps. But this was Jordan. The professor who wore tweed coats and gave pop quizzes. The woman who tased three grown men for him, who made homemade lemonade and fed him Samoan soul food like it was medicine. The one who kissed his forehead when he was too hurt to lift his head.
And here she was: face-down in the sand, looking like a goddamn fever dream.
Jimmy leaned down, whispering in his ear: “So, uh… you think the thong did it? Or the surprise reunion of the entire Fatu clan?”
Jey didn’t answer. He just took off his shirt, gently folded it, and placed it under her head as a makeshift pillow. Then, without thinking, he brushed a thumb over the side of her cheek.
“…You’re okay,” he murmured. “You’re okay, Dr. Myers.”
Sefa blinked. “Yo… she really got you in the feels, huh?”
Jey didn’t deny it.
Because as she blinked awake a few minutes later—eyes dazed, lip caught between her teeth, cheeks still flushed—she looked right at him, voice scratchy.
“Please tell me I dreamed that. I didn’t faint like a punk ass girl in a romance novel, right?”
Jey just smiled and offered her water.
“Oh, baby,” Jimmy chuckled. “You absolutely did.”
Jordan groaned as she sat up halfway, then flopped back onto the towel with the most woeful expression a grown woman in a thong bikini could have.
“God, please,” she muttered toward the sky, shielding her eyes from the sun like it personally betrayed her. “Just obliterate me. Turn me into a grain of sand. I swear I’ll never show cheek in public again.”
The worst part?
They were all still there. The Fatu men. A whole ocean’s worth of towering, tattooed, grinning Samoan men—watching her like she was the best show they’d ever seen.
Even worse? Jey. Who hadn't laughed or teased her. He was just looking at her with that look—that dumb, fond, soul-penetrating look like she’d hung the damn stars.
So naturally, she did what any self-respecting woman would do.
She crawled away.
Sunk low on her forearms and elbows, belly nearly pressed to the beach towel, Jordan started dragging herself sideways like a spy escaping a hostage situation.
“I’m not here,” she whispered. “You don’t see me. I don’t exist.”
Sand clung to her skin. One of her string bikini ties loosened. Her pride had already peaced out. All she had left was denial and an escape plan.
Then she heard it.
A low, amused, too fond voice behind her: “Jaybird.”
She froze mid-crawl.
Everything stopped.
Her hands splayed on the towel. Her toes flexed. Her back arched slightly like she could just melt into the sand and never be seen again.
“Oh my God,” she whispered, face pressed into the crook of her arm.
From behind her, Jimmy snorted hard. Sefa let out a wheeze.
And Jordan, still face-down, weakly waved a hand at the group like she was banishing them from her soul.
“May the force be with you,” she mumbled. “You don’t see me. I’m one with the beach. I’m sand. I’m vibes. I’m disappearing.”
Jey just shook his head, smiling down at the woman who looked like she’d just spiritually combusted in front of him.
“You’re something else,” he said quietly.
She groaned again, still not looking up. “I used to have dignity, you know. Degrees. Credentials. A LinkedIn profile.”
“And now?” Jimmy teased.
“Now I’m just cheeks and chaos,” she muttered. “Goddamn green snakeskin chaos.”
She finally peeked up at Jey, her face redder than ever.
And he?
He just knelt beside her, reached down, and gently helped her sit up—grabbing his T-shirt off her makeshift pillow and slipping it over her head in one smooth motion.
She blinked, now engulfed in the scent of him, the fabric hanging loose and warm down to her thighs. Her bare arms peeked out of the sleeves as she finally looked him in the face.
“You called me Jaybird,” she said quietly.
Jey shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck. “Slipped.”
A beat passed.
Then she dropped her face into her palms with a moan of pure mortification. “Kill me now. Just bury me in the sand.”
Jimmy leaned in from where he was sprawled out nearby and grinned. “Oh don’t worry, sweetheart. This is going in the group chat.”
Chapter Forty-Six “Baby cake quality.”
Jordan refused to lift her face from the crook of her arm, her cheek squished flat against her towel as she laid there like she was begging the sun to fry her into ash. Her curls were half-matted, half-wild, and her green snakeskin bikini—now mostly hidden under Jey’s oversized T-shirt—clung to her like it had been a co-conspirator in her emotional demise.
Her voice came muffled, low, and tinged with wounded pride and scientific curiosity.
“At least when I was crawling away like a goddamn beach possum…” she muttered, “did my ass give fat, or was it like… baby cake quality?”
The silence that followed was criminal.
Then a choked sound—Jimmy wheezing into his fist.
Sefa face-planted into his towel, body shaking with laughter.
And Jey?
He tilted his head, that low-lidded smirk pulling at his lips as he crouched beside her again. He rubbed at the corner of his mouth like he was trying not to grin, but failed epically.
“Jaybird,” he said, voice a little raspy with amusement. “You really want an honest answer?”
She groaned and peeked out at him from under the mess of her curls, eyes narrowed with a warning glare… but also just the tiniest hint of mischief.
“I asked, didn’t I?”
Jey dropped his voice, leaned a little closer, and without missing a beat murmured, “Definitely gave fat. Rich, vitamin D milk kind. I almost helped push you the rest of the way like a turtle who’d flipped over.”
“Jesus Christ,” she wheezed, smacking a hand over her face.
“But like—premium turtle,” Sefa added unhelpfully, holding up a thumbs up behind his sunglasses. “Top-tier shell.”
Jimmy, always the instigator, chimed in next. “She hit that crawl like ‘Baby Got Back’ was playing in her brain.”
Jordan’s laughter burst out before she could stop it, loud and humiliated and unwillingly delighted. She rolled onto her back dramatically and slapped her hands over her face.
“You people are menaces,” she declared.
“And you,” Jey added softly, “are so damn cute when you’re flustered.”
That shut her up.
Her hands slowly lowered just enough for her eyes to peek out at him—wide, a little unsure, still red in the cheeks but glowing with something warmer now.
“Don’t say things like that,” she whispered, her voice suddenly quiet against the loud crash of the waves.
Jey blinked. “Why not?”
“Because I’m already down horrendously bad,” she said, half-laughing, half-serious. “And your T-shirt smells like home and I don’t even know what to do with that.”
For a moment, it was quiet again. The teasing settled. The waves crashed on like background music to whatever unspoken thing was blooming between them.
Then Jey leaned back onto his elbows beside her and smiled. Not smug. Not teasing. Just honest.
“Then don’t do anything,” he said gently. “Just stay right here. With me.”
She blinked at him.
And stayed right there.
Chapter Forty-Six
The sea was a slow lull of rhythm behind them, foam curling and falling again with lazy affection against the shoreline. Evening light dipped low across the horizon, painting everything in soft gold and pink. Jey walked beside her, long strides relaxed and confident, the setting sun catching the cut of his jaw and bare chest. His gold chain glinted just above his collarbone, and his tattoos—tribal, inked deep, steeped in stories—seemed to glow against his skin.
Jordan tried not to look.
Really, she did.
But God wasn’t on her side today.
She’d spent the last ten minutes walking next to a man who looked carved from divine favor, and every time he shifted just slightly, flexed unintentionally, or brushed his arm too close to hers, she thought she might combust. Her eyes stayed forward, glued to the horizon like she was being held hostage by its beauty. Anything not to glance south and catch those abs again.
“I can feel you thinking,” Jey teased softly, voice a low ripple.
Her lips twisted into a guilty little smile. “I’m just thinking about the ocean.”
He side-eyed her, amused. “That why you’re walking like it’s lava beneath your feet?”
Jordan coughed into her elbow to cover a laugh. “Maybe I’m just appreciating nature.”
“Oh, is that what this is?” he asked, smirking as he slowed his steps. His voice dropped lower, teasing. “I thought maybe you were avoiding lookin’ at me, Professor.”
Jordan’s neck burned. She refused to look over. “Don’t flatter yourself, Fatu.”
“Mmhmm.” He knew what that meant.
They stopped at a bend in the beach where the tide reached furthest up the sand. Jey stepped ahead and turned to face her, walking backward as the wind tugged at his curls and the last of the sunlight painted golden against his shoulders. His smile, slow and knowing, tugged at the corner of his mouth.
“You know you ain’t gotta pretend,” he murmured, his voice brushing against her like velvet. “I’ve seen that look before. Lotta girls used to give me that in high school.”
Jordan rolled her eyes, cheeks deepening to crimson. “Yeah, well, you’re not in high school anymore, and I’m not a girl.”
He slowed to a stop. “Nah, you a whole woman. The kind that fights with pink tasers and lies to cops and makes me feel like I got a shot at something real.”
She glanced up then, eyes meeting his, and for a moment she forgot about his abs, his chest, or her embarrassment. The look he gave her was tender, almost reverent.
“You’re the first person to look at me and see more than a record,” he said quietly. “Sometimes I still don’t know why.”
Jordan chewed her lip for a second, fighting off every instinct to shrink away. But this was the same man who she let rest against her chest as he cried out from a nightmare. The same man who stood tall and proud when she called him her man just to chase off an old high school rival. He deserved honesty.
“I saw you before the record,” she said softly. “I saw the man you tried to be under it.”
He took a slow step closer. “And now?”
She looked up, finally, and let herself drink him in fully, not just the body, not just the muscles, but the soft gleam in his eyes. “Now I see the man you’re becoming.”
For once, Jey didn’t know what to say. So he reached out, slow and careful, and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, fingers brushing her cheek like she might break if he pushed too hard. Jordan felt her knees wobble.
“You cold?” he asked quietly, noticing the way she shivered, though it wasn’t from the wind.
“Just allergic to overwhelming handsomeness,” she deadpanned, but her voice wobbled enough that they both knew the truth.
He laughed then, that full, deep sound that made her stomach clench in dangerous ways.
“You got it bad, huh?” he grinned, his dimples sinking deep.
Jordan groaned, threw her head back, and started walking away. “Don’t start, Dimples. Just let me pretend I have dignity left.”
He followed behind her, smile stretching wide, arms folded behind his head like he had all the time in the world. And maybe he did—so long as she kept looking at him like that.

Amazon MGM Studios’ $100 million live-action movie Voltron has started filming on the Gold Coast.
The big-budget feature stars Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Henry Cavill, Rita Ora, John Kim, Alba Baptista, Samson Kayo and Tharanya Tharan.
Queensland Minister for the Arts John-Paul Langbroek said securing the major production would ensure the continued growth of the Gold Coast film industry and bolster the city’s growing reputation as a global screen production destination.
“I look forward to Amazon MGM’s production of Voltron commencing filming and its welcome injection of more than $100 million to Queensland’s economy including hundreds of screen industry jobs and a significant boost for local businesses,’’ said Mr Langbroek.
“The Queensland Government is committed to ensuring these significant benefits are realised across the state, leveraging local talent, extraordinary locations and state-of-the-art facilities.”
Screen Queensland chief executive officer Jacqui Feeney said that Voltron was the latest in a pipeline of Amazon MGM Studios productions to film in the sunshine state.
“We are delighted that our Production Attraction Strategy, combined with the Australian Government’s 30 per cent Location Offset, has secured another Amazon MGM project for Queensland––a film production of significant scale creating impressive screen worlds––which will again showcase the skills of our talented local crew, cast and stunt workers to a global audience,’’ she said.
“Voltron will employ approximately 825 screen practitioners at Village Roadshow Studios and provide invaluable on-set training opportunities to emerging crew on this high-calibre production.”

Two years ago, Nautilus was big news. A vast, expensive Disney+ prequel to Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Nautilus promised to tell the early story of Captain Nemo as he embarked on an epic submarine adventure, seeking revenge on his former captors the East India Company. A colossal replica submarine was built. Several soundstages on Australia’s Gold Coast were given over to it. Hundreds of crew members were hired alongside hundreds of extras. Filming took almost a year. The Queensland government claimed that the series would inject A$96m into the local economy. It looked certain to be a hit; an exciting new big-budget spectacle, underpinned with contemporary themes, based on a legendary piece of intellectual property. Nautilus couldn’t go wrong. Except nobody is going to see Nautilus because, even though it has already been made, Disney+ has decided not to stream it. Clearly, this is unusual. The television industry has a long history of dropping previously announced shows for a variety of reasons – 2004’s animated Popetown was canned by the BBC after complaints from Catholics, 2017’s The Cops was axed after reports of creator Louis CK’s sexual misconduct came to light, and 2021’s Ultimate Slip ’N Slide was cancelled after the crew all came down with a highly infectious variant of explosive diarrhoea that can be spread through tainted water. But Disney+ has a different reason for getting rid of Nautilus: it was axed as a cost-cutting exercise. In May, Disney+ announced a content removal plan designed to cut US$1.5bn worth of content, meaning it substantially reduces the company’s value, giving it a lot less tax to pay. Nautilus is not the only victim: a live-action TV adaptation of The Spiderwick Chronicles was also completed and then axed. Disney isn’t the only network to abandon shows that have largely been made, with HBO Max cancelling the second season of feminist porn comedy Minx just as it was finishing production (only for Starz to buy it, saving it from never seeing the light of day). AMC has also deleted shows with completed and unaired seasons, such as the animated drama Pantheon and legal drama 61st Street, for similar tax purposes. It pulled the plug on its adaptation of Adrienne Celt’s Invitation to a Bonfire partway through production. One US sitcom, Chad, was pulled just hours before it was due to air on US network TBS. Shows are also steadily vanishing from streaming platforms. Earlier this year, Disney+ removed a range of high-profile titles such as Willow, The One and Only Ivan, Big Shots and The Mysterious Benedict Society. Nor is it alone. In a similar move, Warner Bros Discovery has also removed dozens of shows like Westworld, Raised by Wolves, Gordita Chronicles, Run and Love Life from its platforms to save money, as has Paramount+ with its Grease spin-off The Pink Ladies and Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone remake.

Why PRP Therapy Works for Hair Regrowth
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is one of the most effective non-surgical treatments for hair loss currently available. It works by using the healing properties of your own blood to rejuvenate hair follicles and encourage new growth.
Here’s how it works:
A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm.
The blood is spun in a centrifuge to isolate the plasma rich in platelets.
The PRP is then injected into targeted areas of the scalp where hair is thinning.
PRP contains growth factors that increase blood supply to hair follicles and stimulate the natural regeneration process. When administered over a series of sessions, it can significantly improve hair thickness, reduce hair shedding, and restore volume.
Affordable Hair Loss Treatments: 6 Sessions for Only $999
We understand that hair restoration can often be a costly investment, especially with surgical procedures. That’s why our clinic offers 6 PRP hair regrowth sessions for just $999—a fraction of what many traditional treatments cost.

Seamaster 300M – The deep-sea overlord dominates the diving circles in Hong Kong and Taiwan
Material Revolution of Professional Diving Watches
In recent years, Omega Seamaster Diver 300M (Model 210.30.42.20.03.001) has subverted tradition with the use of "ceramic + titanium" composite materials. Its wavy ceramic dial uses laser sintering technology to form a three-dimensional texture with an accuracy of 0.1 mm at a high temperature of 2,000°C; the unidirectional rotating bezel is injected with liquid metal scale, and its wear resistance is 7 times higher than that of traditional aluminum. The 8800 Master Chronometer movement upgraded in 2022 is equipped with a coaxial escapement and a silicon balance spring. It has passed 6 rigorous tests of the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). It is waterproof to 300 meters but is only 13.6 mm thick, making it the first choice for diving enthusiasts in subtropical waters.
Tumblr media
The dual-city effect of the 007 co-branded model
In order to strengthen the “spy gene” of the Seamaster series, Omega’s joint strategy with the “007” movie has produced a differentiated effect in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Taiwan's main product is the "No Time to Die" titanium limited edition (model 210.90.42.20.01.001), which is equipped with tropical retro luminous paint and NATO nylon strap, attracting military watch fans and the camping community; Hong Kong focuses on the "GoldenEye" 18K gold special edition, with the MI6 emblem engraved on the back of the watch and a red gold chain, becoming the "implicit proof of financial strength" for the rich yacht parties. According to statistics, the sales volume of the 007 co-branded models in the two places accounted for 53% of the total sales of the Haima series. The average age of customers in Taiwan was 34 years old, while that in Hong Kong was 47 years old, reflecting the precise segmentation of market positioning.
Commercialization of marine conservation
Omega transforms environmental issues into sales momentum. In Taiwan, the "East Coast Coral Restoration Special Edition" was launched. For every Omega replica watches sold, NT$10,000 was donated to the Marine Conservation Administration. The dial is made of PET plastic recycled from fishing nets. Sales exceeded 400 pieces within three months of its launch. Hong Kong has partnered with the Public Association of Diving and Scuba Divers (PADI) to offer "Carbon Neutral Diving Certification" to customers who purchase Seamaster watches. This move has led to a 38% increase in corporate customer purchases. The two stores have also set up a "deep-sea pressure test chamber" to simulate the 3,000-meter water pressure challenge, successfully transforming the product experience into social media communication material.

Midday Magic Rekindle Romance with These Unforgettable Lunch Date Restaurants
In a world dominated by demanding schedules and fleeting moments, the lunch date has emerged as a powerful antidote to the everyday grind. It's a chance to pause, reconnect, and inject a spark of romance into the heart of the day. Forget the predictable dinner routine; a well-planned lunch date offers a refreshing change of pace, allowing you to savor delicious food and meaningful conversation without the pressure of evening commitments. If you're looking to impress a special someone or simply reignite the flame, a carefully selected lunch restaurant can set the stage for an unforgettable experience. And for those seeking the perfect spot to start this romantic adventure, look no further, especially if you find yourself near the border because there's nothing more exciting than a Lunch Restaurant Coolangatta, where the sea breeze and delicious food come together to create unforgettable memories.
The Allure of Italian: Setting the Stage for Love
Italian cuisine has long been associated with romance, and for good reason. The emphasis on fresh, flavorful ingredients, combined with the convivial atmosphere of Italian dining, creates a warm and inviting ambiance that's perfect for a lunch date. Imagine sharing a plate of perfectly al dente pasta, or indulging in a wood-fired pizza with a crisp, thin crust. The simple act of sharing food can foster intimacy and connection, making Italian restaurants an ideal choice for couples. Plus, the aroma of garlic, herbs, and rich tomato sauce is undeniably enticing, setting the stage for a truly sensory experience. Don't overlook the importance of a great Italian Pizza Restaurant Gold Coast when planning your lunch date, as this is a culinary journey you won't regret.
Beyond Pizza: Exploring Pasta Paradise and Culinary Excellence
While pizza often steals the spotlight, the world of Italian pasta is equally captivating. From creamy carbonara to robust bolognese, the variety of pasta dishes is seemingly endless, offering something to suit every palate. A shared plate of handmade ravioli, filled with ricotta and spinach, can be a delightful way to begin your lunch date. And for those seeking a heartier option, a perfectly cooked lasagna is sure to satisfy. But beyond the specific dishes, what truly sets Italian restaurants apart is their commitment to quality and authenticity. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are often used to create dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing. When thinking about what makes your lunch date memorable, find the Best Pizza and Pasta Restaurant Queensland that provides not only exquisite food but also an impeccable dining experience.
Romantic Restaurants: Ambiance and Atmosphere
The perfect lunch date restaurant isn't just about the food; it's also about the ambiance. Look for restaurants that offer a romantic atmosphere, with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful décor. Outdoor seating can be especially appealing, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while you dine.
Here are some key elements that contribute to a romantic restaurant atmosphere:
Lighting: Warm, soft lighting is crucial for establishing a romantic atmosphere. Avoid harsh fluorescent lights and opt for dimmer switches or candlelight.
Seating: Comfortable seating is a must. Look for restaurants with plush chairs or cozy booths.
Décor: The décor should be tasteful and understated. Avoid overly busy or distracting designs.
Music: Soft, background music can help to create a romantic atmosphere. Choose a restaurant that plays music that you and your date will enjoy.
View: A beautiful view can enhance the dining experience. Look for restaurants with views of the ocean, the city, or a garden.
Tips for a Successful Lunch Date:
Make a Reservation: Especially if you're dining at a popular restaurant, making a reservation is essential to avoid disappointment.
Dress Appropriately: While a lunch date doesn't necessarily require formal attire, it's important to dress nicely. Choose an outfit that makes you feel confident and comfortable.
Turn Off Your Phone: Give your date your undivided attention by turning off your phone or putting it on silent.
Engage in Meaningful Conversation: Use the lunch date as an opportunity to connect with your date on a deeper level. Ask open-ended questions and listen attentively to their responses.
Offer to Pay (or Split the Bill): Offering to pay the bill is a courteous gesture. However, if your date insists on splitting the bill, be respectful of their wishes.
Plan a Post-Lunch Activity: Extend the date by planning a post-lunch activity, such as a walk in the park, a visit to a museum, or a coffee date.
Beyond the Meal: Creating Lasting Memories
A romantic lunch date is more than just a meal; it's an opportunity to create lasting memories. By choosing the right restaurant and following these tips, you can ensure that your lunch date is a success.
Consider these extra touches to amplify the romance:
Flowers: A small bouquet of flowers, even a single rose, speaks volumes.
A thoughtful Card: A handwritten note expresses sentiment in a personal way.
Shared Dessert: Conclude the meal with a sweet treat meant for two.
At Baskk Italian, we understand the power of a perfect lunch date. We believe that food is more than just sustenance; it's an experience that can connect people and create lasting memories. Our commitment to quality, authenticity, and exceptional service ensures that every visit is a special occasion. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, reigniting the flame, or simply enjoying each other's company, Baskk Italian provides the perfect setting for a romantic lunch date. We invite you to experience the magic of Italian cuisine and create unforgettable memories with your loved one at Baskk Italian.

What Makes the Best Carpet Cleaning in Gold Coast?
Carpets play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and comfort of any space. However, they also accumulate dust, dirt, allergens, and stains over time, making regular cleaning essential. Finding the best carpet cleaning in Gold Coast can be a challenge, as there are various methods and service providers available. So, what sets the best carpet cleaning services apart? Let’s explore the key factors that contribute to superior carpet cleaning in the Gold Coast region.
Why Is Carpet Cleaning Important?
Carpets act as a filter, trapping dust, allergens, bacteria, and even pet dander. Over time, these contaminants can affect indoor air quality and pose health risks, especially for individuals with allergies or respiratory issues. Regular cleaning not only extends the life of your carpet but also keeps your home or office looking fresh and inviting.
What Are the Most Effective Carpet Cleaning Methods?
Several carpet cleaning methods are used by professionals, each with its own benefits. Understanding these techniques can help in choosing the most suitable one for your needs.
1. Steam Cleaning (Hot Water Extraction)
One of the most popular and effective methods, steam cleaning uses hot water and cleaning agents to break down dirt and bacteria deep within carpet fibers. A high-pressure system injects the solution into the carpet, and a powerful vacuum extracts the dirt along with excess moisture. This method is ideal for deep cleaning and removing tough stains.
2. Dry Carpet Cleaning
This method involves minimal moisture and uses specialized cleaning compounds or powders to attract and absorb dirt. It is then vacuumed away, leaving the carpet dry almost immediately. Dry cleaning is great for delicate carpets and quick maintenance without long drying times.
3. Carpet Shampooing
Shampooing involves applying a foamy cleaning solution to the carpet, agitating it, and then vacuuming the residue. While effective for removing surface dirt, Best Carpet Cleaning in Gold Coast services ensure thorough cleaning; however, this method may leave behind some residue, which can attract more dirt over time.
Tumblr media
4. Encapsulation Cleaning
A low-moisture method that uses synthetic detergents to crystallize dirt particles, which are then vacuumed away. Encapsulation is eco-friendly and quick-drying, making it suitable for commercial spaces.
5. Bonnet Cleaning
Bonnet cleaning uses a rotating machine with an absorbent pad to remove surface dirt. This method is often used in hotels and offices for regular maintenance, but it may not be as effective for deep cleaning.
What Factors to Consider When Choosing a Carpet Cleaning Service?
With many carpet cleaning services in Gold Coast, choosing the right one requires careful consideration. Here are key factors to look for:
1. Experience and Reputation
Check online reviews, ratings, and customer testimonials. A well-established company with positive feedback is more likely to provide reliable services.
2. Cleaning Methods Used
Different carpets require different cleaning techniques. Ensure the service provider offers a variety of cleaning methods suitable for your carpet type.
3. Eco-Friendly Products
If you are concerned about the environment or have children and pets, opt for a company that uses non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning solutions.
4. Pricing and Transparency
Request a detailed quote before hiring a service. Some companies may offer low upfront prices but charge extra for stain removal, deodorizing, or additional treatments.
5. Equipment and Technology
Advanced cleaning equipment ensures a more efficient and thorough job. Ask whether the company uses high-powered extraction machines, rotary scrubbers, or specialized drying equipment.
6. Guarantees and Customer Satisfaction
A reputable company should offer a satisfaction guarantee or be willing to redo the cleaning if you’re not happy with the results.
What Are the Common Carpet Stains and How to Remove Them?
Despite regular cleaning, carpets can suffer from stains. Here are some common stains and effective ways to remove them:
Coffee and Tea Stains: Blot with a mixture of water and vinegar, followed by a mild detergent.
Pet Stains: Use an enzyme-based cleaner to break down odors and bacteria.
Red Wine Stains: Sprinkle baking soda over the stain, then dab with a cloth soaked in club soda.
Grease Stains: Apply a small amount of dish soap to break down the oil before blotting with warm water.
Ink Stains: Dab with isopropyl alcohol and blot until the stain lifts.
DIY vs. Professional Carpet Cleaning: Which Is Better?
While DIY carpet cleaning can be cost-effective, it may not be as thorough as professional cleaning. Store-bought carpet cleaners and rental machines may not have the power to extract deep-seated dirt and allergens. Professionals use industrial-grade equipment and cleaning solutions that deliver superior results while preventing carpet damage.
Final Thoughts
Finding the best carpet cleaning in Gold Coast requires an understanding of cleaning methods, service quality, and maintenance needs. Whether you choose steam cleaning, dry cleaning, or eco-friendly solutions, regular carpet maintenance is essential for a cleaner and healthier living environment. By selecting a reputable service provider and following proper care techniques, you can keep your carpets looking fresh and extend their lifespan for years to come.

Maximize Your Car’s Potential with Tyre Replacement and Performance Tuning in Gold Coast
When it comes to maintaining and enhancing your vehicle, two critical aspects stand out—tyre replacement and performance tuning. Whether you’re driving through the scenic roads of the Gold Coast or navigating the bustling city streets, ensuring your car’s tyres and engine performance are in top condition is essential.
In this article, we’ll explore the importance of Tyre Replacement Gold Coast services and how Performance Tuning Gold Coast can transform your driving experience.
Why Tyre Replacement in Gold Coast Is Crucial
Your car’s tyres play a vital role in safety, efficiency, and overall driving performance. Over time, tyres wear down due to friction, heat, and road conditions. Delaying a necessary tyre replacement can lead to poor grip, reduced fuel efficiency, and even hazardous driving conditions.
Tumblr media
1. Safety Comes First
Worn-out tyres compromise braking efficiency and traction, increasing the risk of accidents. Whether you’re driving in wet conditions or making sharp turns, having the right tyres can make all the difference.
2. Improved Fuel Efficiency
New tyres with proper tread depth reduce rolling resistance, meaning your car doesn’t have to work as hard to move forward. This results in better fuel efficiency and cost savings in the long run.
3. Enhanced Driving Comfort
Driving with old, unevenly worn tyres can make your ride bumpy and uncomfortable. A fresh set of tyres improves road grip and smooths out your journey, whether you're on highways or city streets.
4. Legal Compliance
In Australia, road safety laws require vehicles to have tyres with a minimum tread depth of 1.5mm. If your tyres are below this limit, replacing them is not just a recommendation but a legal necessity.
When to Consider Tyre Replacement?
If your tread depth is below 2mm
If you notice uneven wear or cracks on the tyre surface
If your car skids more frequently in wet conditions
If the ride feels bumpy or unstable
By choosing professional Tyre Replacement Gold Coast services, you ensure that your car remains roadworthy and performs optimally in all conditions.
Boost Your Car’s Performance with Tuning in Gold Coast
While tyre replacement is crucial for safety and comfort, Performance Tuning Gold Coast services take your car to the next level. Performance tuning is the process of adjusting your vehicle’s engine, suspension, and other systems to improve power, speed, and fuel efficiency.
1. Increased Engine Power
One of the primary benefits of performance tuning is increased horsepower and torque. By adjusting the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and optimizing fuel injection, you can unlock additional power that’s otherwise restricted by factory settings.
2. Better Fuel Efficiency
Many people assume that tuning a car only boosts speed, but it can also optimize fuel consumption. A well-tuned engine ensures better air-fuel mixture ratios, leading to improved fuel economy.
3. Enhanced Acceleration and Throttle Response
Do you want your car to accelerate faster and respond more quickly when you press the pedal? Performance tuning fine-tunes your throttle response, reducing lag and making your vehicle more agile.
4. Customization for Your Driving Style
Whether you prefer a sportier ride or a smooth and efficient daily driver, performance tuning allows you to customize settings based on your driving habits. Professionals can adjust suspension stiffness, turbo boost levels, and even transmission shifting patterns to match your needs.
5. Prolonged Engine Life
Contrary to popular belief, tuning doesn’t necessarily wear down your engine faster. In fact, proper tuning can reduce engine stress by optimizing various parameters, leading to a longer lifespan.
Choosing the Best Tyre Replacement and Performance Tuning Services in Gold Coast
Now that you understand the benefits, the next step is choosing a trusted service provider for Tyre Replacement Gold Coast and Performance Tuning Gold Coast. Here are some key factors to consider:
1. Experienced and Certified Technicians
Look for workshops with certified mechanics who have experience in handling various car models. Skilled professionals ensure accurate diagnosis and high-quality service.
Tumblr media
2. Quality of Tyres and Tuning Components
Not all tyres or tuning parts are created equal. Ensure that the service provider uses premium brands and components to guarantee durability and performance.
3. Customer Reviews and Reputation
Check online reviews and testimonials from previous customers. A reputable workshop will have positive feedback and high ratings for their services.
4. Comprehensive Services
Opt for a workshop that offers a full range of services, including wheel alignment, balancing, ECU remapping, and performance upgrades. This ensures that all aspects of your car’s performance are well taken care of.
5. Competitive Pricing
While cost shouldn’t be the only deciding factor, make sure you’re getting good value for money. Compare prices and service packages before making a final decision.
Conclusion
Whether you need Tyre Replacement Gold Coast services to keep your vehicle safe or Performance Tuning Gold Coast to enhance its power and efficiency, maintaining your car is essential for a better driving experience.
Investing in high-quality tyres improves safety and fuel efficiency, while professional performance tuning unlocks your car’s true potential. If you’re in the Gold Coast area, don’t compromise on your car’s health—choose expert services to ensure your vehicle runs at its best.
So, why wait? Get your tyres replaced and experience the thrill of enhanced performance today!
