I was doing some bug testing of the new Half-Life 25th Anniversary update and comparing it to existing bugs in the legacy version, and I found a really cool example that showcases the engine improvements to audio in the latest update.
The newest update vastly increases the amount of sounds that can be played at one time in-game. Check out the difference in audio distortion between these two explosions!
Since Half-Life turned 25 recently, here's some more GoldSrc sprays. Yes, I'm aware there's a trick where you can use full colour sprays, but that feels like cheating so I'm sticking to the 64x64 greyscale image method.
