Curtis’s phone dings. “Go ahead and check that,” the other biker, Lance Tucker, smiles. “I’m sure you’re going to want to see the message.”

Curtis pulls out his phone and sees a text from you. I’m being followed. He lifts his eyes from his phone, glaring at the grinning asshole across from him.

“Gotta say, your lady is pretty unique,” he winks. “Makes her a lot easier to find in a crowd.”

“Am I allowed to text back,” Curtis asks, rage dripping from every word.

“So you can tell her to call someone? Not a chance.” Lance crosses his arms and leans back, confident in his having the upper hand. “In fact, set the phone on the table. Just so we can see her get sadder and more desperate that you're not answering.” He gestures to Edgar, sitting next to Curtis, “you too. Can't have someone in Everett's circle messaging her either.”

Edgar tries to protest but Curtis cuts him off and motions for the phone. Curtis clenches his jaw as he places the phones between him and Lance. He knew Tucker would stoop low to get what he wanted but he still can't believe he'd threaten you. Now he understands why Lance insisted on such a small meeting, just him and Franco meeting Curtis and Edgar, with the rest of the gang out of hearing range.

It's been months since you first gave Curtis your phone number. Months of the two of you learning how to balance a relationship in a dangerous environment. Months of you learning biker vernacular and biker gang structure. Months of him learning to let someone new into his life, letting you see the real him. Months of Curtis learning that he could be soft with you and still demand the respect of his gang, and the other gangs in the area.

And now, during negotiations, Tucker had taken advantage of that softness to vie for more territory for him and his Bronze Gang. He's playing a dangerous game. Word gets out to the other gangs, Tucker's entire group will be practically “kill on sight”. But if he gets you, holds you hostage, Curtis will be forced to keep his mouth shut about it.

The phone dings again and Lance reads the text, “Definitely being followed. Heading to populated area to wait for you.” He grins at Curtis, “how sweet. You've planned for things like this! Can't wait to see if she starts crying when you never show up.”

Curtis grips the arm of his chair, attempting to keep his composure. He wouldn't put it past Lance to order his men to hurt you twice over if he gets hurt.

Another text, this time letting Curtis know your location.

“Of course,” Lance begins, “if you were to maybe give me a bit of your territory, I could call of my boys.”

“You're asking for almost half of the Snowpiercer territory.”

“Exactly, almost half. You can afford to give that up.” His own phone dings and he takes a look. “Ah, there's a pretty photo.” He shows Curtis a photo of you sitting at a cafe. “Gotta admit, I'm not normally for the big and tall girls, but I could see myself tapping that if it means pissing you off.”

The arm of the chair starts to break under Curtis's grip, getting Franco's attention. Another text, you asking Curtis to confirm he's received your texts. One on Edgar's phone as well.

“You're not gonna say anything?” Lance smirks, “just gotta give over the territory I asked for and you can go get your girl.”

“I don't know that you'll actually let her go,” Curtis rebuts.

“You know what, that's fair,” Lance agrees. “After all, you tell the others what went down, I'm a dead man, right? So it really would be in my best interest to keep your girl close. Maybe close enough to touch at all times.”

Edgar jumps at Lance, causing Franco to stand, but Curtis grabs the back of his shirt just in time to pull him back. Edgar gives Curtis a look, “you can't seriously be thinking of agreeing to this! I know she's your girl but this is about more than her!”

“I know,” Curtis growled. He pulls Edgar in close and whispers, “we just gotta give her time. She's my Queen, she's smart enough to figure this out and get out of danger.”

“You don't know that,” Edgar protests, loud enough for Lance to hear.

Another set of dings on their phones. Lance's chuckles confirm they're from you.

“We have to try,” Curtis whispers. “Please trust me.”

Edgar nods, “fine, but I don't have to like it.”

“Oh, does that mean you're gonna agree?” Lance's voice cuts the tension between the two men, redirecting it towards him. “Oooo! If I weren't holding all the cards I'd be scared.”

Curtis sits back down, “we all know I can't give you that territory. But you're right that I don't want her hurt. The problem for you, though, if she does get hurt because I refuse to give you what you want, the other gangs will get told. She gets hurt, or worse, you'll have no territory and likely no genitalia after all's said and done.”

“You're not wrong,” Lance smirks. “But you'll still lose her. How much longer is your group gonna hold your territory with a broken president? Leaves a good opportunity for me to just run away for awhile and come back when the power vacuum is in full swing. I get to hurt you, deeply, and just run away long enough for people to forget about me. I can be patient if it means winning.”

His phone rings, making him drop his smile for the first time all meeting. Curtis nods, “you're gonna want to answer that.”

Lance answers his phone, “what?!” His frown turns angry as he listens to the person on the other end of the phone. “How the hell did you--” He looks over at Curtis and Edgar, before stepping away and angry whispering, “how the hell did you lose the bitch? She's a fucking sasquatch! You don't lose someone like that!” More silence. “You're telling me you can't tail a fucking taxi?”

That's all Curtis needs to hear. He gives a silent signal to Edgar and they make their moves. Edgar gets Franco into a choke-hold while Curtis sucker-punches Lance in the kidney, making him drop the phone. Taking advantage of Lance being incapacitated, if momentarily, Curtis helps Edgar with Franco.

The struggle leads to the three of them crashing through the door, getting the attention of Snowpiercer. Curtis's men swarm the area and quickly get Lance and Franco restrained.

Running back into the room, Curtis grabs his phone and calls you.

“I'm guessing this means I'm okay?” Your voice is cautiously optimistic and immediately calms him.

“Yeah, threat's contained,” he confirms. “Ask Lockley to bring you here and I'll make sure he gets double the usual pay for his help.”

The second you step out of the taxi Curtis is on you. Holding you, kissing you, ignoring the world around you.

Edgar is handing the money to Lockley, “thanks, again, for the help.”

~What's wrong with both? But yeah, I've yet to do headcanons with these goobers. I don't know this “consistency” people speak of, so expect none of it. General:

We can all agree that he's a massive dork about this, right?

He's a lee-leaning switch, though it's close.

Loves tickling both ways, but can admit neither.

Boy gets squirmy every time the word is even mentioned. You bet he practically dies when any scene comes on TV

Lee:

Lee moods for him are quite frequent.

His friends have a system for detecting them at this point. Checklist and everything if they feel like being goofs.

Nervous giggles, extra knee bounces, higher voice, showier clothes if he's bold, easy blushes and jumpiness. They've got him down to a T at this point (⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠)

Super squirmy lee, you almost definitely need to pin him if you wanna live. Known for his donkey-kicks.

Worst spots are his armpits. He will screech if you even try to get him there. Not a spot for the weak-willed.

Melt spot is his neck. A few fluttering fingers, maybe gentle scritches under his chin, and you’ll have a giggly puddle of sleepy mirth.

Real easy to fluster. Say the t-word a few times, compliment his inevitable blush, maybe incorporate the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Immediate results!

She’s got a really pitchy, bubbly laugh. You get her to belly laugh, and you’ll be rewarded with lovely snorts.

Ler:

VERY sassy and playful. Will tease the living hell out of you and giggle while she does it.

Anything she can tease you for, she will. Usually teasing-compliments, but she shakes it up.

“Such an adorable belly! It’s like it was made for me to poke and squeeze. Can’t deny its purpose, can I?

“It’s so easy to fluster you! I just need to say that one little word, and you can hardly breathe~”

Okay, so…he definitely is open to being wrecked by his friends.

One of them has a killer ler mood? Hobie’s here to help. He’s gonna be all teasy about it, but it’s quickly replaced with giggles.

When he’s just straight-up in a lee mood, he can ask with next to no problems. Coincidentally, he “accidentally” flusters his ler more often than not.

If he just doesn’t feel like asking, he’ll put on a crop top, rest his arms behind his head, and wait for someone to get a ler mood or try something.

We can all agree that this smug bastard would try to fluster his ler, right?

Holding his arms up without being asked, telling them to keep going, how good they’re doing, “Ready when you are~”, teasing them for “staring,” the list goes on.

Worst spots are his feet, followed by his underarms and hips. He’s not always in the mood for footer tickles though, so the pits are your best shot.

Ler:

He has two sides, one very different from the other.

The first is gentle, comforting tickles. He won’t go too fast or vigorous, only upping the ante if you ask or seem ready.

With Miles, he’s a bit less evil. Mainly just teases him for being so ticklish and his blushes.

For Gwen, he’s rougher. She usually likes to forget her name, and he’s more than happy to help. Raspberries, teases, the whole nine. Whatever gets her cackling.

Amazing with aftercare. Will pull you into his lap for cuddles, and he gives incredible massages and back rubs. Praise for days if you need them, and even if you don’t, he’s happy to supply them.

General:

Very squirmy little worm, though he doesn’t flail like some of the others. Has accidentally headbutted before though, so careful if you’re messing with his neck.

Decently easy to fluster, though it takes a while to wreck him. You’ve gotta know exactly what you’re doing to really get him good (just ask Hobie or Miles, they’re loving narcs)

Worst spot is his belly, specifically his navel. Raspberries are killer for him there. Him and Gwen share a death spot and both torment each other with that knowledge.

Melt spots are his forearms and under his chin. Adorable to trace a few inches up from his pits and watch him dissolve. You can’t tell me he wouldn’t love some gentle tickles under his chin, can you? (answer: no)

Bright, bubbly, almost boyish giggles. Things get a lot pitchier when you really wreck him, squeaks and squeals coming in no short supply.

Ler:

Surprisingly formidable ler when the mood strikes him.

Most don’t suspect it to be that bad and give him full reign. They’re quickly proven wrong.

He respects boundaries of course, doesn’t ever go overboard. Takes breaks to check in and let his lee breathe every few minutes.

Loves to tease with compliments and praises. This is where he abuses his powers.

If one of his friends is upset or stressed, he’ll talk it out with them before suggesting a tickly cheer-up. If they don’t legitimately object, he’ll sweetly tease them until they’re all giggly and happy again.

SUPER sweet with aftercare. Cuddles, snacks, praises, and just general conversation. If you want to, he’d even be open to a nap.

SINNERS, ALL OF 'EM

the seven deadly sins + the gang = way too much overthinking

Lupin's Gluttony The world's his for the talking, yet he can never be satisfied. That'd be a real bummer if he were anyone else, but that hunger for more challenges, more adventures, seems to only add more fuel to an already roaring fire. He's a Glutton for a lot of things: Punishment, mainly. But also attention and experiences. His curiosity is insatiable. The only issue with Lupin's Gluttony is that he isn't inherently wasteful, which is a pretty glaring caveat. In that case, the big question would be "does the damage he leave in his wake outweigh that which was stolen in the first place?"

Jigen's Sloth/Envy "Man, I'm too old for this shit" incarnate, with a little dash of "I'm still going to silently judge you from my dark little corner, though" on top. It isn't Sloth "I'm gonna take a decade to get to this" so much as it is "I'm gonna do what you want me to do so rapidly and effectively that you're gonna think twice about waking me up again after I get back to my nap." But he really doesn't do jack-all if it isn't Lupin-related. If it were just him all on his lonesome, he'd kind of just rot. He is indifferent to his effectiveness. Bored, even. His loyalty to Lupin is an inherent aversion of his responsibilities as an individual.

His Envy brings him to action. He's a man of a lot of subtle wants and no willpower to take them, but with the right motivator, he'll bring down armies. Fujiko is a pretty good spur-on, as well as anything that remotely puts Lupin in the line of inconvenience or danger. If it's for one of his very, very few friends, he'd go through hell and high water just to get them a decent sandwich or something. Just be thankful his Envy's benign instead of malicious...

Goemon's Pride Mr. "Once again, I have cut a worthless object". There's literally an entire movie about his ego getting so utterly shattered that he gets all cagey/stabby mode about it for the rest of the movie, on top of training so hard he rewrites his entire goddamn nervous system just so he can do said stabby better. It's fantastic. To dedicate oneself so fully to one skill, then to restrict it to your own judgement as to not tarnish it, feels like the antithesis of humility. Pride, in a biblical sense, is to sever oneself from God; to become so wholly individual and confident in said fact that you forsake conventional belief in favor of your own. So congrats on netting the literal Worst sin, Goemon, you've earned it. God ain't shit when you can cut through anything.

Fujiko's Greed Does... does this even need elaborating. She's a woman that knows exactly what she wants and exactly how to get it, plain and simple. Why settle for anything less than the best?

Zenigata's Wrath/Lust What a wombo-combo, damn. This guy's the definition of love/hate. He's a man simultaneously impassioned and overwhelmed by his emotions, yet they lend so heavily to his professional and personal effectiveness that without them, he wouldn't be him anymore. Wrath and Lust go hand in hand, in a roundabout sort of way. It's about loving something so much that you want to crush it. A brutal dimorphous expression of emotion. To long for something to intensely, so vehemently, that it guides every action, fuels every decision... Underneath it all, would it even be possible to know what you are if that drive is all that defines you? Could you even call that living? We're talking about a guy who unironically wears heart boxers and almost exclusively eats cup noodle, people. This symbolism's very disturbing...

That's A Wrap You can always argue other sins for each of the cast members, of course. Lust for Lupin, Wrath for Jigen, Envy for Zenigata-- whatever. At the end of the day, they're all objectively terrible people. It's semi-safe to say that outside of religious contexts, the seven deadly sins have grown subjective in common culture/media. So why not take liberties? I sure as hell did. It's a goddamn miracle these managed to turn out so succinct.

When Gil steps forward to shake on it, I was like 'there is the co-leader of the T-Birds.' He is confident and in a way, profesional about this. Though I love Richie, I gotta say... Gil looks pretty good here. It may be the fact that he is confident as he steps up to the plate as Richie's second. It also shows that he still thinks of Richie as the leader and hasn't given up on his boy.

Buddy having to take a second before he shakes after hearing 'May the best man win.' Just makes me think of when he talks to his dad and states that he doesn't wanna 'win be default'.

Rizzo and Frenchy getting hyped up seeing 'older kids' doing cool stuff.

Rizzo and Frenchy starting to show that they want to be Pink Ladies and ask to join.

Gil and Rizzo ribbing eachother as siblings do when they are just talking.

And I love the way they are starting to build a repoort with Gil and Jane when they step aside to talk to Frenchy and Rizzo.

The shared look they have hits on several levels.

From being older (responsible) siblings, leaders of gangs and just being in highschool in general, they react in classic sibling denial laugh at the idea of them joining.

"There's a height requirement." Now this one made me roll my eyes when I first heard it and its not until Gil steps up behind them that you CAN SEE THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE! Im sure there are a few of us on here that would turn into Frenchy if Gil put his arm around their shoulder and said he'd give em a ride.

Jane's "Never gonna happen." It may be to discourage Frenchy from mooning over Gil, but I think she is also a supporter of #Oil.

Ik you said it's hella subjective but I'd love to see why you assigned each card for each character, i always find it fun to see what goes behind artist's minds n stuff :]

Oh go on you've pulled my leg /lh, I do have some notes on what's to come. Some of my picks might be considered a little ...spicy?

I was gonna put in the ones I'm more solid on but I ended up getting carried away and putting them all down haha. Yes I got way too involved reading into this, under cut as it's long and contains some spoilers.

Fool - Kiyoka: So you could likely argue either Yuki as the fool, since the tarot is often called the fool's journey. But I'd just taken the interpretation as the beginning, so I picked Kiyoka as the beginning of the series.

Magician - Syobai: I can hear it already, why isn't it Mikado? He's a literal wizard! But like while you could stretch the heaven and earth thing to be the real world and virtual one the kinda core traits of the magician don't really match up with him.

The magician is all about using everything in your arsenal to move forward, and taking every chance you get, and to me that reminds me of Syobai's journey from abandoned to the cut-throat person he ends up being.

High Priestess - Mikako: The priestess represents knowledge or a lack thereof, so it felt like it suits Mikako because she has her memories and knows who's responsible. There's also an element of mystery to it, so it works in the way that she can't reveal what she knows.

There's also a line for the reversed card about choosing to trust someone against your intuition or what others say, which is kinda like what happened with her and Utsuro + Akane when they're in hope's peak.

Empress - Setsuka: The empresss pretty much boils down to being kind to yourself and others, so I picked Setsuka as the big sister of the group and her battle to keep the group together.

Emperor - Shiji: So this one was harder, since the emperor is a little stoic and reversed emperor is tyrannical, such that Tsurugi would fit better. That said, the positive parts of it are more leaning towards Shinji and his role with the gang (Yuuki especially), he's their rock and their guide. It also means we get big bro and sis as empress and emperor which is kinda cool

Hierophant - ???: It feels like I should pick Kinji for this, seeing as he's the religious figure and this is the religious figure card. The hierophant is about taking the well-trodden path, do things by-the-book per say. Someone who's a good colleague or mentor. So I guess that could be Kinji?

Lovers - Haru + Satsuki: This one is kinda self-explanatory, there's not a lot of depth to this one haha. That said, there's a section of this card that's about finding out what's important to you by looking inside yourself so it fits nicely anyway. It's kinda the opposite of the hierophant, who find their way through established outside paths.

Chariot - Rei: The chariot is about having the willpower to overcome obstacles without distraction, so that fits Rei and her mentality to reach her goals no matter what pretty well.

Strength - Ayame: Strength is strength when facing adversity specifically, remaining calm even when facing a horrible struggle. Reversed strength is about insecurity, and a lack of confidence in one's self too, so I really like it on her.

Hermit - Sora: While the hermit can be associated with someone who likes to be alone, the whole thing about finding your inner self works nicely with her amnesia and drive to figure out who she really is.

Fortune - Yuuki(SDRA2) + Utsuro: I feel this one is more obvious, but the fortune refers to swings of good or bad luck. Reversed fortune feels particularly apt for SDRA2 Yuuki, as it's about uncontrollable change, and he's constantly a puching bag for all the horrible things that are out of his control.

Justice - ??? I feel like Kakeru is a cop-out here, and the theme doesn't actually suit him all that much. Justice is kinda the karma card, if you've done something bad your comeuppance will come, if you've been wronged your time for justice will come to you.

I've considered Kizuna for this one, as she has both done some awful things, been kinda in denial (or pretended to be) about those things, and shown that she was willing to take steps towards change. I'll likely come back to this one at some point

Hanged man - Teruya: The hanged man is someone who realises that sacrifice is necessary to move forward, this was one of the first ones I had decided on /lh

Death - Tsurugi - the reason Tsurugi isn't emperor or justice is because he fits this a lot better, the death card is about change or the resistance to change when reversed.

Temperance ???: Calm, someone calm who stays in safe waters and doesn't push the boat out.... I'm not sure tbh, possibly Kanata?

Devil - Kanade: Beyond the obvious, the is a theme with the devil card to addiction and obsession. You get the idea

Tower - Hibiki: Kinda funny that they're next to each other, the tower is like a huge change causes your life to fall on top of you. While the card itself isn't that drastic it works nicely for Hibiki.

Hajime also works well with this card, as a tower can represent a looming disaster and what you can do to avoid it too.

Star - Yoruko: I originally had this one as epilogue Yuki/Sora, but as the only survivor to not be as fucked up or on the run I think Yoruko sutis. The star is about hope and carrying on with your life after the events of the tower card.

Moon - Yuki (DRA) : So this one was kinda hard, I chose Nikei for this for a while, but his motivations are more rage related and don't really line up with the theme of the card. The moon is a card about taking the uncertain path, hidden truths and self-deception.

Sun - Yamato: What we're told at least of Yamato matches up with the sun a fair bit, someone with deserved confidence and success. I'm not very confident on this one, but I'm struggling to pick someone who hasn't been picked yet.

Judgement - Akane: Based off chapter 6 mostly, and her choice to save the others in the end. But also her choices in the start and how much she seems to regret them

World - Mikado: do you have any idea how much it pains me to give the wizard a card? /hj

That said, the world is completion and achievement, and so I wanted to give it to Mikado as someone who believed that had completed everything as planned, but had the wrong goal post from the start. It also felt apt for him to have the last card in the deck.

If I manage to get through all of them in like, a year(? most optimistic timescale ever haha) I'd like to do the minor arcana too, I'd like to end up with every character represented at least once

I'm likely to redecide on these at least 50 more times over the course of this project lmao

Thoughts on Lupin: Part 3

Covered my thoughts on seasons 1 and 2 already and I just finished season 3 so I'm gonna write about it here. Bottom line: HahahahaHA this show rules so much man.

Everything that was strong about the prior seasons is still there if not better, and they patched up several things I otherwise disliked about it. Also god I missed the mark big time by watching the prior seasons with the English dub for some reason, no wonder I didn't like most of the characters when they all sounded like they were sleepwalking. Just, watch with the French audio, don't be an idiot like me.

I actually like Assane's family now? Maybe that's because of the dub thing letting me see the actual performances, but there seemed to be a lot more effort this season to make us care about Claire and Raoul's own struggles and the really bad things they have to deal with because of Assane and how they deal with them. There's an extent to which these characters exist because otherwise Assane would suffer no consequences and no caveats to just doing whatever he wants, a.k.a the cool Lupin stuff we signed up for but can't be too over-indulged in, and that made them feel more like roadblocks than people, but to me this time they actually feel more like people, and people who can have their own things going on or even get involved in the good stuff without compromising their importance, and those consequences thus actually matter more.

God I can't believe how great the disguises were this season and how many there were. Again, definitely feels like they had to refine the process in the first two seasons so we can have this one with Assane actually going the nine yards with multiple overlapping fake personas and disguises per episode. Omar is masterful in all of them and the show seems so confident that it even lets Ben, Guedira and Claire dip their toes in the action a bit. I was actually really impressed by Coach Alex, even though he does look a bit uncanny and a little A.I-ish. I could still buy that as a real person.

It's doing this thing I really like that The Shadow does, where the character has a lot of different methods by which he achieves his disguises ranging from high-tech/borderline fantasy to very simple DIY tools, but the process featured is obscured enough that you can never fully tell which is being used, and so the character can have this borderline superpower still grounded enough to not look like one.

I actually didn't mind the villain this time around. There's a nice progression of putting Assane against an invisible and seemingly invincible shadowy gang forcing him to do their bidding (which lets them do the heist-of-the-week format without compromising the larger plot), that turns out to be just one horrible man from his past armed with henchmen and a grudge, which means he gets to be developed and taken out within the season without much delay and without Assane having to make stupid out-of-character blunders to let him escape to menace another day (which was a problem I had with Pelligrini). I like that Keller gets to be legitimately scary as a threat to Assane's loved ones, but is also undone by being a stupid piece of shit who only knows how to abuse and manipulate children until they all turn on him, and once he and Assane are on even ground he goes out like a chump.

Putting Pellegrini completely out of sight and saving him for the final twist where he's been pulling a Kingpin in prison with god knows what consequences even warmed me up to him as a villain, if nothing else because, okay, a Lupin worth his name needs a Cagliostro menace, and the ending twist isn't even about him so much as it's about the betrayal of someone Assane confided in.

And unfortunately that ending twist is good enough that it would be awful if any of those three turned out to be the backstabbers and there's equal arguments for being any of them (I don't think it's going to be Pellegrini's daughter precisely because she's the most predictable, I don't think they'd do the Countess of Cagliostro that 1-to-1)

Look, it's good drama, yes, we need stakes to keep this going, yes, but BEN NOOOOO, GODDAMNIT ASSANE

Unfortunately I can't fault Assane that much despite the fact that he barely knew his mom. There was no good option there, Ben would have fumbled it if he was even a little on the plan, and I'm not sure if he later realized why Assane did it or if he didn't realize at all, I mean the ending twist sets him up as one of the potential backstabbers and it's gonna be really fucking heartbreaking if so, but...man, I don't fault the way everyone reacted to that episode, but I can't get that mad at Assane for what he did.

The heist he did with his mom at the prime minister's mansion complete with jetski escape added another 10 years to our lifespan. Utterly delightful. I love this show so much.

I was a bit iffy on how the prior seasons approached the existence of Arsene Lupin books in-text and I'm still a little mixed on it. However, the sheer reverence and omnipresent popularity of Arsene Lupin the character actually isn't even that unrealistic to the character's real life popularity in France or elsewhere, or how much the show has done to refuel said popularity. I mean, hell, I and others got to see it firsthand Lupin being the talk of the town non-stop. It still takes me a little out of the show, but it's far from a dealbreaker.

Major major leg that this thing has above so many other contemporary reboots/adaptations is that this is FUN, Lupin in general should always get to be fun and more than a little stupid sometimes, and this gets it. This thing delights in carrying us through every step of the process by which the main character does his impressive things, laying out all the components in plain sight and putting them together and even letting you feel smart for realizing how it's coming together and still being surprised when it does.

This is the show that Sherlock wishes it was, because of course Lupin can't make a comeback without putting one over his good old rival Sholmes.

The show was always strong, I think, but every season so far's just been refining things and making all of it's strengths better. It's so so good and I hope it keeps going, this thing does crazy numbers every season, I just never see it talked about much in English circles. I'm glad it's been going strong the way it has. Assane has become one of my favorite protagonists in anything and I might even watch the show again soon.

Still unbelievably good and has only gotten better from what was already a very strong start.

the thing is. this is addressed specifically in the show. So Jack, an escaped "criminal" and homeless orphan who is also the leader/protector of a gang of other homeless orphans, gets put in an impossible position. "cowboy or convict [Pulitzer] wins either way." he has two options when he chooses to "betray" the strike:

option one: take the money, do his best to stop the strike from continuing, and run away from the only home he's ever known to a dream he knows probably won't ever be reality (and let's be real here, Jack is a dreamer but he isn't stupid. he knows that Sante Fe will never be all it is in his head but he clings to that hope because he's idealistic, knowing full well it's not gonna work the way he wishes it would if he ever does make it out). taking option one means breaking the trust of the people he's looking out for, but it also means they're safe. the strike is over, they stop getting beat up, they still have work and therefore won't starve.

option two: refuse the money, let Snyder take him to the Refuge, and let the strike continue knowing full well that Pulitzer can and will ensure that all of the people he cares about are locked up, too. including Davey and Les, who have so much more to lose comparatively because they're not homeless orphans, they have a home and a family. Pulizter is directly threatening all of the people Jack loves, and Jack knows he'll make good on it, and Jack knows how bad the Refuge is.

so for Jack, this boils down to a simple choice: protect them, or let them get hurt. and for Jack, that's a non-choice

everything that Jack does is filtered through this lens of selflessness that borders on self-destruction. the end justifies the means as long as the end is that everyone he loves is safe and cared for. he will provoke a fight with the delanceys if it means nobody else gets hit. he will let all of them think he's betraying them if it means they're safe. who cares if they hate him as long as they're alive and out of the Refuge?

you can see it in that scene. he comes in confident and guns blazing, and doesn't change his mind at all until Pulitzer brings the other newsies into it. he doesn't care if he gets hurt. he knows that a strike is dangerous, and as long as Pulizter is focused on him, who cares? he's fighting for the most important thing in the world, his kids. but when Pulizter is threatening his kids, and the choice is lose them or let them get hurt. well. who cares if he's happy, as long as they're safe? who cares if Santa Fe has always been a pipe dream that he had no real intention of following, he'll survive. he'll be fine. they'll be fine. and that's what matters.

and listen. if jack had really intended on running to Santa Fe, he would have already done it. why didn't he hop a train? why is he so insistent on paying for a ticket? to me, it screams more of that idealism. will he ever realistically be able to save enough to get there? no. and that's part of the comfort of the dream: as long as it isn't real, it can't disappoint him (just be real is all I'm asking, not some painting in my head, 'cause I'm dead if I can't count on you today. I got nothing if I ain't got Santa Fe. how much more scared of Santa Fe disappointing him than staying here is he? i bet a lot. he needs the dream to be perfect).

but of course he chooses to protect his kids because that's what he does. that's what he's always done. that's why he's their leader. he refuses to let them get left behind, he refuses to see them hurt, and he will let them think the worst of him if it means at least they're safe.

on the rooftop, katherine says "I need to know you didn't cave for the money" and Jack says no almost dismissively because of course he didn't. obviously he didn't. Jack who tried to refuse payment from Medda because why should somebody who cares for him need to pay him? Jack who drops two bits, half a day's profit, on somebody he just met? Jack who only started this whole thing in the first place because he knows how bad it will be for the kids who don't move as many papers as him? please. why would he cave for the money? and Katherine was there, she heard Pulitzer threaten the other kids, she should know this.

and then at the end. the strike settled, jack should probably be hitting the road, right? because how could they want him to stay, now that he's betrayed them? except he didn't, and they know he didn't, now that they know what happened. he didn't do it for the money, and he never would have. he only did it because it was the only way he could protect everyone.

If you could write your “ideal” season 5 for LMK, what would it look like? Like, what season 5 would be like if you were to write it (assuming you would also be trying to implement your theories and stuff into the mix, Feral MK/EAMK are two of my favorite theories from you!)

That's a really hard question! Mainly because like...I don't know the end game—I don't know what the writers are ultimately building towards. For example, I have pretty much 0 clue what our mysterious figure's plan is. I don't know why Wukong killed Macaque (and while I'd like for the show to go that direction, I'm still not 100% confident SWK did actually kill Macaque). And when it comes down to it, I have no clue who/what MK actually is.

Like I've said before, my ideal s5 is the one they give me!

But, I would of course love EAMK to become canon! I think it really fits with what we see in the show, and it just makes sense for MK's arc. Now that MK's identity has really come to the forefront, he's going to actually have to learn about himself/think about himself and then come to terms with it. We really didn't focus on MK's Monkey Demon identity too much in the s4 special, meaning s5 is gonna have a huge focus on it just like s4 did, and because of the way this has been structured I'm assuming it's going to get worse before it gets better. Which then hopefully leaves some room for feral MK and the reveal of the plan of our new antagonist!

However, I'll try to "plot out" a s5:

The season opens as a parallel to 4x01, MK & Mei are fighting a "monster of the week" type villain—except uh oh, the Jade Emperor's seal isn't holding (& also MK is not in totally control of his powers). Reality is starting to fray a little bit!

Luckily Yellowtusk has some experience with containing the Jade Emperor's Power, but now Ne Zha is gonna have to touch base with Wukong and the rest of the Gang

They are gonna have to find a "suitable host" so to speak. The first recommendation is one of the 10 Kings of the Underworld—one of those guys has both the power and control to be the new Jade Emperor

It's underworld time

Except, wait! One of them is a traitor! They released Azure and tried to tip the world into chaos. There can't be a new Jade Emperor until this is resolved

Who-done-it murder plot ensues

Something goes awry

MK and gang? They have now been re-trapped into a different section of the scroll of memory (like the infinite scroll room) (Macaque, SWK, and Ne Zha remain in the real world)

It's still somewhat unclear what exactly MK is, but he is connected to the underworld/curse/memory)

MK is not holding it together AT ALL, but "Monkey King had a good reason" or whatever

On the outside SWK and the others have been trying to figure shit out. Subodhi arrives to help and can send SWK into the scroll

He finds MK and gang

They are yeeted into the memory of why Wukong killed Macaque

MK snaps. L + ratio + your beloved Mentor killed his ex-best friend + you just learned you are chaos incarnate + you killed the past lives of everyone you hold dear

SWK V MK fight of my dreams ensues

Sadly reality is fragile and MK is not helping this

With their combined effort, they are able to collectively use the Jade Emperor's Power to fix the world (again)

Footballers as Pokemon trainers, pt2

Christian Pulisic, Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson are the subjects of today. I don't really have a pattern or order for who I do for these, just who I feel like doing and can come up w a solid team for. Also, requests are open! I may reject them, if I don't know anything about that player. I'm gonna do coaches too.

Pulisic

I think Pulisic would focus on simpler strategies based on dealing damage. Like he'd be that one kid we all used to be who didn't know what status moves are for lol. He also spams items.

Marill

Expecting Braviary first? Well yes, but I think marill would be his starter pokemon. 1) chelsea makes me think of water types, 2) it's round like a football, 3) its ability huge power makes me think of how pulisic is super strong yet also like. just a funny lil guy. 4) I think pulisic would be a fairy type trainer. Plus its also sort of american flag colors + it reminds me of pulisic on the champions :)

2. Braviary

Well yeah AMERICA RAAAAAAA GUNSSSSSS FEETTTTTTT INCHESSSSSSS HAMBURGERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! also its kind of ac milan colors :D

3. Slurpuff

He's from hershey which is apparently a chocolate (????) so yeah he gets this thing. also he's dopey and silly just like pulisic so yeah!

Salah

Salah would probably not even battle tbh. I think he'd have his Pokemon as companions. But when he has to battle he takes a very conservative approach to it, focusing on healing and status moves that ensure the most passive way of beating the opponent.

Slowking

What else for the Egyptian King himself? Out of all the "king" and "royal" Pokemon, Slowking for sure fit best, as it seems simple-minded, but is really just humble and wise. Also he has a fancy headpiece like Salah's FUCKING AWESOME 'fro. I think Slowking would be his starter Pokemon as well.

2. Litleo

Ideally he'd have a Pyroar, but I like Litleo more. Did y'all know Salah LOVES cats??? And Litleo (and Pyroar) are also royal Pokemon. Plus, Pyroar reminds me of the Sphinx, and they seem like they'd live in the Sahara, so they're native to home. Also the fire type reminds me of Liverpool and gegenpressing, like the directness of the strategy, I guess?

3. Altaria (Mega)

I know the real shiny Altaria doesn't change the color of the cloud feathers, but I like to think Salah caught a special one with all black feathers, so it has its own afro! :). Plus it also reminds me of him a bit, Salah is full of smiles but is also fierce on the field, Altaria is very cute but also strong, especially thanks to dragon dance. I think he'd mega evolve it too just to upgrade the afro.

Henderson

Now, Henderson is the first in this series who I think would take battles really seriously. Like, I think he's a tough battler who pushes his Pokemon to their limits. He still cares for them of course, but he enjoys Pokemon battling a lot, and especially enjoys winning them.

Corviknight

This is one I'm 100% confident on. I believe this is Henderson at his core. Definitely his starter. Also, kind of LFC's mascot? Like, it's a bird. It's also stoic and serious just like Hendo. It's also super strong, like Hendo!!!! Also, the flying type also reminds me a lot of gegenpressing.

2. Centiskorch

With what I said earlier about Fire types and gegenpressing, I wanted to give Henderson a fire type as well. Then I remembered Kabu, the gym leader who uses this Pokemon, and I thought Kabu reminded me a lot of Hendo, so here we are. This one isn't perfect but I still like it a lot.

3. Honchkrow

Big bird who's the head honcho (captain) of his gang. Also honchkrow looks homophobic which fits with henderson at al-ettifaq! :))))))). But really I do think this is a fitting Pokemon, Henderson feels like he would have no issue training dark types. Honchkrow also gets Moxie as an ability which feels a lot in line with how Liverpool tends to get better as the match continues. idk if this is acc true just something ive noticed.

- Alice is such a fun character, I'm glad she suggested making the boys jealous so they'd maybe be kicked into high gear, she's doing the lord work cuz we were all thinking it. What more shenanigans will this open us up to 🤔👀

- I stg I'm ot7 but jeezus trouville yoongi does in fact own my entire being, I want him in a way concerning to feminism and so does MC lol. That spicy part was everything but I was so scared someone would walk in on them but thankfully that didn't happen, I would have freaked!!!!

- Jin and MC cooking!!!! Thats my husband fr and speaking of which- WE GOT HIM BOYS, THATS ANOTHER ONE IN THE BAG!!!!!!!! I love the little moments MC has with Jimin!!! I hope he's giving hopeless romantic in Trouvaille, I think it's fitting for his rancher background, and his Libraness fhdksafd. My literal DREAM is to formulate a paranormal investigation team, ESPECIALLY with Namkook. Just having Joon's insightfulness and Jeongguk's fearlessness I think it would be absolutely perfect. HA SCREAMINGGGG No like she'd need a small loan of a million dollars for a Disney trip with all of them. AH I'm so glad you like Alice 🥺 It was important to me that MC had other friends besides the hybrids! You need some friends to confide in, not just romantic interests, and MC's friends are supportive but also give her reality checks when she needs them. Alice is soooo real for telling her use jealousy to her advantage, considering MC is a little avoidant of confrontation LOL.

fdkasf BESTIE I'm hyung line (Namjoon ult) biased, and Trouvaille Yoongi is seriously trying to snatch me away from my other three. I, too, need him biblically, and would let him have his way with me 💀 AH the smut.... he's such a giver, definitely a soft dom 🥰 I'd dieeee too if one of the others walked in. Thankfully, they were the only two at home during that scene!

JINNIE COOKING CLASS. I love love lovedddd writing that scene, Seokjin is such husband material and especially in Trouvaille, he deserves to have fun with a new hobby 🥺 AND FINALLY ANOTHER CONFESSION!!!! Seokjin hasn't been subtle with his feelings, especially in the past few chapters, so I'm glad he was finally brave enough to fess up. Next two episodes gave me thoughts; but I'm I need to zip them out and dip, so please forgive the grammar~.

Sticks and Stones: I think this situation was mishandled from every angle-- Catherine's team, Vincent's Below, and Laura's new gang. Classic example of no one has clean hands even if they have good intentions. Vincent's conversations with Laura continue to be beautiful; but her daydream moment in the car with Jerry(?) was beautiful as well. Interested for your thoughts here!

A Fair and Perfect Knight: Same as the above but with more thoughts. Adored Michael's father's character: he did wrong, he knew it, he sincerely wished his disowned son best; but he's not moving from his decision. Cathy and Vincent relying on unchecked love to heal others without reflecting that is how they fell in love is a fascinating dynamic; and it reveals the flaws their relationship brings out in each other (because every human relationship have flaws.) Their takeaway here is still off: yes, love is beautiful and yes ugly emotions are apart of that love; but most of this could have been avoided with more safeguards and distance-- and it's the same lesson from Lena and Cathy's ex. Looking forward to how Diana handles those issues (if she does.)

Speaking of, AFandPK, I noticed the glaring difference between Cathy and Nan's Diana (since it's not fair to say Diana having not "seen" her; but I don't expect there to be much of a difference, if at all): Cathy believes life has insurmountable limits but that happiness can still grow and thrive under that burden. She yells "There is no life without limits!" in this episode and withdrew her request in Remember Love, having already decided in the S1 finale that no sacrifice is too great to be with Vincent. To become strong, to Cathy, is by enduring those burdens and carrying them. Diana, however, believes that life's limits are not to be endured but to be overcome; and that strength comes from changing during those struggles so that they no longer rule you, throwing them off permanently. Her quote from Nan's AWTN "“I love you. I think you’re just great. Sometime I think we’re gonna have really phenomenal sex together and be happy for a real long time. Any of that bother you?" perfectly incapsulates that thinking.

Another thing I noticed: Diana checks for what bothers Vincent while Cathy dances ahead or hugs him or professes sentiments from the heart that can only make him feel more trapped because of her love. There is a childish quality to Cathy that makes her cling to Vincent or rail against injustices or scream in agony or terrible tragedies that occur; and there is a maturity to Diana that realizes these are heavy burdens, but that they can be minimized or patched up with restraint. Diana has her faults-- she's reticent with her emotions and information while Cathy was not, for instance-- but I'm enjoying how different these two women approach life and their romance with Vincent.

Am I off base? How much? XDDD Looking forward to your takes.

I think your take on Sticks and Stones is pretty spot-on. No one handled the situation well. But in this case, it's very much a reflection of real life. We try to do the right thing, to come up with the best solutions, and hold the people we love accountable for their actions (while attempting to do it in as loving a fashion as we can) but it doesn't always work. I understand Laura's anger at what she experiences in the world Above, which is completely the opposite of the environment she was raised in Below. And I get her disgust with being judged by the tunnel community on top of that. She's also caught in that no-man's land between young adulthood and becoming an actual grownup, and that's tough for everyone. But at least she still has Jerry at the end, and is confident that Vincent will continue to love and support her, even if he doesn't necessarily agree with her decisions.

I have issues with AFAPK. No, I have issues with Cathy in AFAPK. I don't know if it was a matter of the director's choices or Linda's, but Cathy seemed unaccountably flirtatious with Michael from the get-go. So, so much more than she ever was with the man she claimed to love and desire. Maybe it's just another example of her not being forward-thinking enough to see the trap she was setting for Michael. Even Vincent is cognizant enough to realize it when he says to Michael "And how could anyone not love her?" Even though his statement is skewed in a more innocent direction, the gist of it is the same. And of course, in Vincent's mind, Cathy can do no wrong.

I loved the scene between V & C in his chamber simply because V needed to hear that he does deserve to want the things everyone does when it comes to love. Having said that, this: yes, love is beautiful and yes ugly emotions are apart of that love; but most of this could have been avoided with more safeguards and distance-- and it's the same lesson from Lena and Cathy's ex.

Only in fanfics, my dear. Though there is one small scene in A Time to Heal where we get a glimpse into Diana's heart in reaction to a romantic relationship gone sideways. But we'll talk about that later.

Your comments concerning the differences between Nan's Diana and Cathy are so insightful. You'll find, once you start 3S, that we really get little definitive insight into what makes Diana tick. She very much lives her life internally, in her head, so we're forced to pay close attention to what she does, and the little she says, to make conjectures and educated guesses about her personality and build from there.

But this: To become strong, to Cathy, is by enduring those burdens and carrying them. Diana, however, believes that life's limits are not to be endured but to be overcome; and that strength comes from changing during those struggles so that they no longer rule you, throwing them off permanently is very much on the mark of what I, and many other all-season fans, discovered as we dug into Diana's character. I'm going to restate your comment in a slightly different way here: while Cathy finds herself enduring the limits she perceives have been placed on her, Diana instead expands her idea of those limits so they're no longer a burden, but an rethinking of what's possible and what's not. And we see her do this almost from the beginning. But most especially when she first comes face to face with Vincent, this person she's been trying to imagine her way into. Instead of doing what everyone else does (or has done in the past), which is to kindly and politely disregard those aspects of him that are not within the definition of what it means to be a man, Diana instead expands her definition to include Vincent's differences.

And this is canon behavior. We see it in the way she works and how she interacts with Vincent. She says to a fellow detective at one point: "If all you’re willing to see is what you’ve seen before, you’re gonna miss half of what’s going on." That is Diana in a nutshell.

Because of that mindset, she does not suffer fools gladly, and she doesn't hesitate to call Vincent out when he goes off the rails. That's something we've never seen anyone do with him, not even Father. Even he backs off when things get too uncomfortable. Not Diana. And Vincent's never encountered anyone like that before. It's safe to say she throws him for a loop.

While it's never implicitly stated on the show, it's obvious that Diana is also very empathic. Matter of fact, Koslow based her on Will Graham from the movie Manhunter (which is based on the novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris). Lots of movie and TV tie-ins exist within the Hannibal Lector universe, the most recent being Hannibal. So, anyway, that fact adds another interesting twist to her and Vincent's budding relationship and the way he perceives her.

Standing up and applauding again. Diana gives Vincent lots of room, right from the beginning, and listens much more than she speaks. But when she does talk, every word is weighted. It really is a lovely dichotomy of the V & C relationship.

I have a lot of favorites, it really just depends which fandom. I'll go with Katakuri for now. He's a real big guy, a real cool fight, and I love his wacky ass Mochi powers. His voice is rad, his character is interesting, and he has a sweet relationship with his sister.

Any? Hahaha, I mostly write for OCs as you can see, but I should write for more canon characters to balance it out. I mean, there will be a ton more Nanami Kento once I get some of my long standing WIPs out of the way.

I think I write the Kirby gang pretty well. And it seems I have a knack for Kuro (One Piece) if my comments are anything to go off of.

The majority of them. Especially the villain characters I really like. Zant, Sephiroth, hell I doubt I would write Katakuri too well either.

I didn't like Gojo at first. I thought he was annoying, but he grew on me real fast which I hate so much. Why do I have to like characters in JJK??? That just spells disaster.

Nanami. I only saw clips of him and I was in love. Same with Katakuri. He was so cool I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

I love writing in the NME Salesman's voice right now. He is very insincere and casual and it's fun to make him a smarmy asshole.

Uhm... I don't often pick to write for anyone who I dislike, but I guess if I had to pick it'd be... anyone who has a very specific voice I have to focus on formatting right. Like Queen (Deltarune), Spamton by extension, people with accents as their main quirk, so on.

It's hard to say. I don't know myself very well. I said I was a lot like Kasumi Miwa from JJK back when I did that art meme. I still think so for the most part.

AITA for Not Following Orders as a Lieutenant of the Big Mom Pirates?

I (48M) need some perspective here. I'm a high-ranking member of the Big Mom Pirates, serving as one of the Sweet Commanders under Big Mom herself. Recently, I found myself in a bit of a moral dilemma and I'm not sure if I handled it correctly.

What happened is, Big Mom ordered me to take out the Straw Hat Pirates, who were causing chaos on our territory. I'm known for my loyalty and strength, but something about this didn't sit right with me. Despite knowing the consequences, I couldn't bring myself to attack them without a fair fight. Instead, I chose to confront their captain one-on-one to test their strength and see if they were truly a threat.

Long story short, they proved themselves worthy opponents, and I ended up letting them go. Now, Big Mom is furious with me for disobeying her orders and potentially jeopardizing our crew's reputation. She sees it as a sign of weakness, but I can't shake the feeling that it was the right thing to do.

Some of my crewmates are calling me a traitor and saying I should've prioritized loyalty over my personal beliefs. Others are praising me for showing honor and integrity in battle.

Am I the A-hole for not following orders as a lieutenant of the Big Mom Pirates, or did I do the right thing by standing up for what I believe in?

Personally, he's not the asshole. Maybe he'd get an ESH landslide.

I'm posting these just because I find the companions in-game reactions to things rather interesting. You might be surprised by what some of them have to say about certain things.

These are just their dialogues for during combat and after combat or walking through areas inhabited by this enemy type. It does not include anything from specific areas, quests, or other dialogue.

⌨: Ridding the Commonwealth of Raiders is close to providing a public service. ⌨: Raiders are one of the lowest forms of humanity… an embarrassment to your species. ⌨: We should be able to scavenge some useful items from these lowlife Raiders. ⌨: According to my database, Raiders rank astonishingly low when it comes to common sense… and personal hygiene. ⌨: Be careful, ma'am. Raiders tend to plant mines near their encampments.

Deacon's guff with the Minutemen coming up. I really don't think the Railroad's dislike of the MM is very deserved. Maybe a little, but not as much as it is. It's not their fault most people in the Commonwealth fear synths, especially when actual infiltrators pop up in settlements (random event - they even admit to you to being sent by the Institute if you pass the speech check, asking you to help them blend in again by killing the actual settler who discovered them).

Hancock does show some tiny amount of sympathy. Not enough to spare them, they still made the wrong choices, but hey, he knows what a hard life can do to people.

Not much else to say. Everyone hates raiders. Everyone thinks they're pretty small-game. Bethesda really lacks on giving us any proper world building around these guys (though if you want that, check out the terminals and notes you can find in raider dens -some of that's real good, too bad it doesn't make it to actual gameplay).

Now that lita is officially over, time for an overall review, an honest one. See, I fucking fell in love with lita, specially the characters and the actors, but I have a LOT of points to make.

Starting with the criticism. The producion. Terrible. Fucking awful. So many scenes got ruined because of it. The sound and visual team were playing around I swear, volume of conversations being too low, you could hear the mics, background music too loud, transitions from one scene to another so bad you get pulled out of the story, clothes being visible during nc scenes, scenes not making any sense whatsoever, the cuts, everything... just bad. Also whoever directed their acting, not even the actors could save some scenes because of the awkward position they got put on set.

Also obviously the wife, black giant, and spanking thing. Seriously, mame? 

Talking about the characters now, I wasn't really into payurain because of all the "I'm dumb and cute" thing going on with rain, it made me uncomfortable, the couple became adorable after they got together, but both characters were a little forced to fit the powerful and smart top and the naive and dumb bottom narrative. But then prapaisky came...and I have to admit, I started this series because of them, I read their novel and their characters are so much more interesting, sky is very smart and witty (although they still made him act cute because he is younger annnd obviously because he is a bottom 🙄), prapai is super understanding and mature, the only mistake in his character in the series was how they portrayed that party scene, I feel like the one in the novel made more sense.

Going into prapaisky...there's so much to talk about them...it amazed me so much how prapai could read sky from day one and also respect him, he respected his time, his feelings and never for a second doubted him. The scene where he cries because sky can't became one of my all time favorites, and fortpeat did an amazing job portraying it, tho I still wish they showed sky crying real tears and not only sobs because it would make the difference between his previous cry scenes and this one clearer.

Now going full on compliments, and I will be commenting a lot more about fortpeat because yes they became my protected babies. Since the first time he appeared peat showed such good expressions, he brought sky to life and made him one of my favorite characters ever, when his arch started you could see clearly the change in sky's eyes, he is an actor who express so much through his eyes, the change in his gaze in prapaisky first meeting when he realized prapai wanted sex from him and then later on in the one where prapai says he wants a smile and he gets so surprised, I was STUNNED with his acting, sky is not an easy character at all, he is traumatized, he is mature and likes to pretend he is strong all the time, he helps everyone but never asks for help, he pretends to not care when he cares a lot, the way peat was able to portray the slight changes with subtle body signals, his posture, his smile, his eyes, small expressions...CHIEF KISS. Also fort...his crying scenes, his empathetic scenes, his I'm in love...so SO GOOD, the moment his arch began and he looked at sky with such curiosity and confidence I knew it was the end, he understood prapai so well and he acted while feeling it all, the scene where he comforts sky while you can see in his eyes his own heart is breaking. A FUCKING PERFORMANCE. He nailed all the whipped scenes and let's not talk about the nc ones, I am not prepared to talk about his body language during those, absolutely not. The way both had so much chemistry and the EYE CONTACT!!!!!!! The way they could communicate through their eyes so well, you could feel the love and trust, the fear, the sadness...I can't believe they are both new to this. 

Of course all four actors did well, but I needed to emphasize them. Anyway, the series wasn't perfect at all, but I'm gonna miss my weather gang a lot, hope to see the actors working together again (with a better production team pls).
