I can't believe it's already been two years since this film's release what even is time anymore 🥲

Happy 10th anniversary to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1!!!

This series and these characters mean the world to me, and I can't believe that through all the insanity of the last decade, they managed to get 3 amazing films, 3 crossover appearances, and 1 holiday special!

I'm also happy that the critical and commercial success of this series had a butterfly effect of getting James Gunn his current spot of head of DC! Hopefully the next 10 years of DC movies and shows will bring us even more amazing stories and characters!

Yeah in YOUR mind the guardians are all living separate lives and only getting back together (maybe) once or twice a year to save the world or celebrate Christmas after GOTG3

In MY (objectively far more correct) mind the Peter/Gamora/Rocket/Drax polycule and Peter’s sister Mantis and Gamora’s sister Nebula and their son Groot and Groot’s boyfriend Adam Warlock and Peter’s adopted dad Yondu and Yondu’s life long partner Kraglin and Adam’s weird loth cat looking thing and fuck it Cosmo the telekinetic dog are living a happy life flying around the galaxy and doing a lot a bit of good and still a little bit of bad and when they have down time they go back to Knowhere and play with all those kids and animals they rescued and when they’re nearby they stop in on Earth and visit Peter’s grandpa as a big extended family because nobody died and everyone can totally make it work living together for ever and ever and if they need a bit of time to themselves they take a solo mission for a few weeks and have that time and everything is perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Watched guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 and as expected it hit me right in the feels.

Rocket history particularly destroyed me. This group of misfits it's a real family.

At first i didn't understand the new Gamora, but I loved her final scene with the ravagers and her makeup was on point.

Adam warlock is a little meow meow and it's hilarious.

Cosmo is the goodest girl ever.

Drax an amazing dad

The Tragic Origin of Cosmo the Space Dog

Long ago, Cosmo used to be a test animal for the Soviet Space Program (СССР). When he was young, Cosmo played with other dogs (and one of them looks like the real-life Laika) in the lab kennels. Then, the dogs were taken to the training center where they went through series of grueling space tests. When the time came, Cosmo was chosen to be launched into Earth's orbit in a spacecraft. Before the launch, Cosmo faces the news media press and was given the spacesuit. On the countdown of the launch, Cosmo was given a rope toy as a goodbye gift from the other dog.

As the spacecraft launched into space, Cosmo was bombarded by cosmic rays which gave him psychic powers. Cosmo experiences his first time of using telepathy when he realizes that he would never see the other dogs again. Unlike the real-life Laika, Cosmo survived his trip to outer space. Thanks to the cosmic rays, Cosmo not only has psychic powers, he also has extended longevity which makes him outlive the other dogs from the past. Eventually, Cosmo's spacecraft drifted out of orbit until it landed on Knowhere.
