[R/n goes missing during a blackout, Haruki runs into Jugglus who strangely offers to help find her, they track her down to an old tunnel system where they find her with what they assumed was strange toy in her arms.]
Jugglus: This is what you risked your safety and your friend’s safety for, a toy?
R/n: Just hear me out, okay? I know how it looks! But Tokomon isn’t a toy he’s-
{Both Jugglus and Haruki are taken aback when the “Toy’s” eyes open and it begins to moves on it’s own]
Tokomon, wakes up at looks at R/n: Mama?
Haruki: Huh?
Jugglus: …
Jugglus: Did that thing just call you mama?
R/n: It’s egg kind of rolled out of my laptop....And hatched.
Tokomon, looking at them curiously: ewllo?
Haruki, waves at it: It’s not a t-toy?
R/n:...I was trying to tell you, h-He’s Tokomon...He’s a Digimon and I need help him get home-
Haruki: Oh, this kid is lost? Well it’s nice to meet you little Toko- (goes to pet Tokomon)
Tokomon:*yawns showing off his jagged teeth.*
Haruki: Oh God!
(Haruki quickly retracts his hand and Jugglus stumbles back a bit as they stare at Tokomon disturbed.]
Jugglus shook up: …uh, What did you say that’s called again?
R/n: A Digimon, it’s short for Digital monster.
Jugglus: And why do you have it?
R/n: Like I said, it’s egg manifested out of my computer and hatched, apparently there’s been influx of digital-waves lately and it’s causing rifts to open between the digital world and the real world, and it’s my job to find them and close them.
Haruki: You told me you were an freelance IT tech!
R/n: and I am, I didn’t lie to you Haruki, you just never bothered to ask what I do.
Haruki: So, that cyber attack at the hospital?
R/n: It was Digimon a Diaboromon to be a exact, nasty things.
Haruki: The third party that resolve it?
R/n: That was me, with a little help from my friend.
Jugglus: Your friend?
[R/n snaps her fingers and a large figure materialized behind her it was decked out in gold armor had a blue cape, while wielding twin swords.]
R/n: This is Grademon he helps me combat against hostile Digimon and hackers.
Grademon, nods at them:
Haruki: Whoa... he’s awesome!
[While Haruki was questioning R/n more about her job, Jugglus briefly locked eyes with Grademon and swore the Digimon was glaring at him.]
i have never used ravemon before but i've heard bad things from cs. it is hilarious how digimon story makes ravemon consistently trash even in a game with infinite stats (his growths are Really Bad)
My battle was actually supposed to take place yesterday, however, due to some personal problems my opponent had, we had to delay it to today at 14:00. Thanks to this delay however, I only got to know my opponent's username, and not their Digimon, who I learned were Metallife Kuwagamon and Grademon just about 20 minutes before the battle.
The battle began with Grademon rapidly charging towards Helloogarmon, trying to slash him with his Souken Grandalpha, this attack being stopped by Helloogarmon's claws, and then being fully repelled by Stiffilmon, after Grademon took the initiative, Stiffilmon to charge against them too, being stopped by Metallife Kuwagamon and another sword-based move, the Emit Blade, this opponent is a fan of sword based moves after realizing this, I knew what I had to do. After asking for a little pause, I asked the judge if I could use the Vánagandr, he agreed since I had already stated in my application and proved that there's not a huge power gap between Helloogarmon and Soloogarmon, I got the authorization, so I asked Helloogarmon to slide evolve into Soloogarmon, and then the battle continued. With the two of my Digimon being able to fight hand to hand, and both using "swords", the fight was way more even, tho Grademon was still dominating, with its twin swords, ultimately making it a fight between him and both of my Digimon, leaving Metallife Kuwagamon as a support to make back up damage with the Homing Laser, constantly directing it to my Digimon's backs while Grademon attacked with the Cross Blade, however, something happened in the middle of the fight, while Grademon was attacking Soloogarmon, he started to lose control, trying to attack aggressively, this is due to the curse that is embedded into the Souken Grandalpha, that can make him lose control if it's not properly controlled during a fight, so we had to, yet again, try to stop a mad digimon during a tournament, but this time, it was Helloogarmon who stopped it, I asked Soloogarmon to change into Helloogarmon and use the Hati Embrace to immobilize Grademon, and then a referee used her Marin Angemon to calm Grademon down.
My opponent excused his Digimon's behavior, and was asked to change Grademon with another Digimon, but he refused, the admins threatened with kicking him out, since Grademon could've badly hurt my Digimon, but I asked the admins to let him finish the fight with Grademon, since I already have experience with this kind of incidents, they ultimately agreed under the condition that I'd have to take the responsibility along with my opponent if anything happened, we agreed, and the battle went on.
Grademon got into the battlefield again and the battle quickly heated again, Grademon targeted Soloogarmon who got back into his bipedal form after the opponent was controlled, and fought in a way that leads me to think that he sees Soloogarmon as a worthy adversary, meanwhile, Stiffilmon was avoiding Metallife Kuwagamon's Homing Lasers, and quickly attacking with the Vermillion Vortex, the battle more often than not, was an endurance test on both sides, who could bare more sword strikes and who could attack faster.
The struggle between the four Digimon ended up in two separate fights, so it was pretty hard to both follow and order what to do, but in the end Stiffilmon ended up winning against Metallife Kuwagamon due to the speed charge provided by the Giga Crimson Dive, and after Metallife got K.O'd, Stiffilmon got in the middle of the fight between Grademon and Soloogarmon, but was easily taken down by the mad Grademon, who tried to finish up Soloogar with the Grade Slash, that was rapidly responded with the impulse of the Skröll Rage, ultimately giving us the win.
The fight was pretty exciting! Tho I gotta admit that I got kinda overstimulated thanks to the division between digimon, however, I'm glad everything turned great in the end, tho I'm still worried about Grademon, so I decided that the best course of action would be helping it's Tamer, so I gave him a control program similar to that I have equipped on Helloogarmon, he'll have time to equip it himself, im sure. I actually have no idea when my next fight will be, but be sure I'll keep you updated about it!
time for another set of two people getting digimon partners and the possible evo lines, with it being egotistical knight of hanoi Specter and the star of the show Yusaku. will be trying to keep to their deck themes with the digimon levels going from child to ultimate.
Specter, the knight know for his defensive plant deck and his partner that would go well with him is Palmon.
with this plant looking fairy will be the start to his decent into a wall of vines and thorns.
his dedication to the knights of hanoi will let Palmon to evolve to Woodmon.
this is the start of the Sunavalon inspire digimon choice with this one more so represents Dryas (also got a interested in the archetype due to looking at the card art)
His resolve to prove himself enables woodmon to evolve into a full bloom guardian Jyureimon.
this old timer digimon is meant to represent the higher link rating of Dryas. he even have fruit that those link monsters used to summon other monsters.
Specter's pride of his work and his accomplishments enables Jyureimon to reach ultimate level with the elegant Bloom lordmon.
out of all the plant like digimon I felt that bloom lordmon fits with the more offensive side of his deck plus it is quite knight like fitting with the organisation he is part of.
now for main character playmaker/Yusaku he was the hardest to do caused his deck is more generic in theme. to start off I will start off with the presume prototype of digimon Dourmon.
this digimon can fit quite well with Ai place in the story being something unknown that is sought after.
his interesting bond with this talkative digimon causes it to evolve to Gladimon.
this guy is representative of the link 3 code talker line though more so decode talker.
with his friends backing him up Gladimon evolve once more into grademon.
this power golden meteor of a digimon is akin to the link 4 Accesscode talker in similar color and power.
by taking everything he learn into motion Grademon becomes the digimon born from a daydream of a digimon, Dourgoramon.
this beast of a digimon who is an avatar of destruction. Fun fact I had a hard time looking for a ultimate level digimon that fits with Yusaku and as soon as I saw this, the first thing that pop in mind was Firewall darkfluid dragon.
Of course, of course! I got characters that I haven't mentioned as well with their own Digimon ideas, so if it's more expansive than the one on Discord i apologize for not sharing them.
Sonic: Veemon/V-mon
Tails: Jazamon
Amy: Shortmon
Knuckles: Vorvomon
Sonia: Hawkmon
Manic: Armadillomon
Big: Frogmon
Cream: Terriermon and Lopmon Version X
Shadow: Arcadimon (Perfect/Ultimate)
Rouge: Witchmon
Vector: Deckerdramon
Espio: Igamon
Charmy: Fanbeemon
E-123 Omega: Guardomon
Blaze: Leomon (No, this Leomon will not be dying, thank you)
Marine: Captain Hookmon
Silver: Exermon
Infinite: Negamon -> Abbadomon
Eggman: ??? (May possibly be his own creation)
And to add to this, my OCs:
Ovi: Falcomon (Original version)
Nebula: Gulus Gammamon
Erco/Edge: Grademon
Yuki: Shoutmon
Ginger: Vulturemon
Wesser: Kamemon
Hope: Cupimon -> Lucemon
Arura: Wizardmon X
Trevor: Tyutyumon
Cyrus: Loader Leomon
If you guys think that I gave my OCs too strong a Digimon, consider: Most of the Digimon names I listed are usually the forms that the Digimon automatically prefer, or have met in that form. Marine and Captain Hookmon don't meet until Marine has basically completed most of her arc in the AU. Ginger doesn't meet Vulturemon until she confesses her feelings to Ophelia, and Erco/Edge doesn't meet Grademon until Erco/Edge learns to be more open to others. The only one that starts out as Perfect/Ultimate is Shadow, and that's because Arcadimon is another experiment on the ARK. The two bond over being experiments.
Also, I gave Infinite the most edgiest Digimon to ever existed, because I thought it'd be neat if edge met edge.
a slight animation showcase for Datamon, Crescentmon, Grademon, and Taomon. the latter three are generally pretty flashy, interesting, or Amaterasu, with Datamon being pretty boring in comparison. though i have to admit, Datamon is pretty effective, its signature move being very versatile alongside an impressive Int stat for straight up attacking reasons. mystified why its signature move is physical, though.
I forgot that I should've posted the rules and characters on the announcement post. So it would be posted here. Anyways, I will start with the rules.
Rules
No NSFW Questions.
No asking characters about characters they don't know yet.
Try to keep the questions tied to Deltarune and Digimon. Asking other fandom questions have to be portrayed as it's a game, book, movie, or TV show to them.
Only ask general digimon questions. Not like anything tied to a specific human character in Digimon or a specific rendition of a Digimon.
Avoid mentioning things tied to other AUs and Undertale. None of the characters would be allowed to answer questions about those because they don't exist in this.
Use Kemonogami when referring to Digimon in questions for Susie, Kris, Ralsei, and those of the Card Dark World. You may use the word Digimon in questions for Noelle, Berdly, and those from Cyber World. As only those in the Cyber World actually call Digimon as Digimon.
As long as you keep these things in mind while writing your question, the characters are willing to answer anything.
How would a Grademon handle sharing his Tamer with a Gaiomon? I was playing Digimon the other day and my Leomon digivolved into Grademon and now whenever one does a crit, it feels like the other has to 1 up him. I love my Samurai and Knight(?) But seriously XD
Grademon sharing his Tamer with a Gaiomon
Grademon may seem like he doesn't like Gaiomon, considering how often they both try to one-up each other. It's more a fun competitive deal between the two, although maybe with a hint of contempt for each other... Even if that is the case, it's hidden quite well.
Grademon doesn't think that Gaiomon is trying to steal his Tamer, after all, it's their shared Tamer... but he wants to share in the praise they get more, so it gets competitive when a battle ensues, both trying to do better than their last attack between each other
There are times they get along, perhaps both talking about their abilities. Though, they seem to get a bit heated when it comes to talking about their weapons. They both each have two swords, but one claims their swords are better than the others, which can lead to a stare-down with them brandishing their weapons between the two if their Tamer doesn't stop them.
They do try to keep it to when battles roll around to truly prove who is the better. Again, it's mostly a competitive streak between them! Although it can get a bit too competitive, especially when Grademon goes into his frenzy, and Gaiomon tries to prove that even without cursed swords, he can match the strength of Grademon
They wear themselves out a lot due to their fighting, so are always worn and ready to eat or sleep after a battle if it was against a tough opponent.
Truly, there's simply something about them one-upping each other, even if both of them have their own abilities and the liek that make them both amazing in their own respective ways. But they can't help but to see who's faster, who's stronger, and who wields their swords better.
