Day 20/100: (Round Brackets.) I use these a lot when I'm blogging, but try not to overuse them - if I use them at all - in fiction writing. Brackets (parentheses) are used within a sentence to include information that is not essential to the main point, meaning that if it were removed, the sentence would remain unchanged. Clever huh? La velocidad frenética mueve hoy el mundo.

Llegar antes, acabar pronto, no perder un segundo, este vídeo es demasiado largo, este texto tiene demasiados párrafos, me impaciento ¡Vamos! ¡Corre! ¡Venga! ¡¡Ya!!

La prisa deja por el camino muchas sensaciones y todos los detalles.

Nosotros queremos parar. Olvidarnos del futuro porque lo que nos importa es saborear el presente. Tirar el reloj por la ventana y sentarnos a leer como si lo único que existiera en ese momento fuera la revista que tenemos entre las manos.

Acariciar el papel, oler su tinta, observar los colores hasta su último matiz, entrar en las historias como si los protagonistas fuéramos nosotros…

Yorokobu quiere que disfrutes de la lectura. Pasar por encima de las cosas es como no haberlas vivido nunca. Déjate envolver por ellas. Por las palabras, por las imágenes, por las sensaciones…

Nos gusta el slow reading.
